Really nice people who take the time and effort to package to-go food well. Really considerate adding air vents so things don’t get soggy etc. Only reason I knocked a star off is because the food is on the pricier side and it can sometimes feel like you’re being pressured to tip them.

The food was okay I had the number 42 and the sticky wings which were very good. I thought the number 42 was going to be a whole meal with the meat on the side but it turns out it was just a fried rice w small chunks of meat was not satisfied with my food especially for the price it was a disappointment also because the menu is very hard to read. The service is very slow as well.

I ordered a takeout bibimbap from this restaurant for $20 and was quite disappointed with the quality. The portion contained very few vegetables and arrived pre-mixed. My lord..... Given the price and the amount of food, I was so shocked.

the food was good..but i was shocked they actually charged gratuity when we were 4 adults & a 10 month baby... really? the sign said 5 people is automatic gratuity but when did a baby count when i brought baby food & tried a few bites of the side dishes? we also ordered an appetizer that came the same exact time the food came.. that defeats the purpose of an appetizer, i would've tipped well anyways, since i've been a server but it rubs people the wrong way to add gratuity in such a way

Got the all you can eat BBQ which is $40 It was pretty good but it's more expensive than other places. Also not as much variety in the meats offered. One thing I didn't like is the samgyeopsal(pork belly) comes out frozen when ordered. I don't expect the meat to be super fresh but I would have liked it if they had thawed it before serving it; it's just easier to cook that way for me.

I absolutely love this place, nearly everything about it is perfect. The price is really decent too. I do have a few complaints though. They can only split the bill 3 ways with a card so if you go with more than 3 people it becomes a whole hassle. Please please Seoul BBQ get a way to pay the tab with your phone like Toast payroll, it would make the experience so so much better. PLEASE GET TOAST PAYROLL!🙏🏻 also sometimes they don’t give us the tea with the rice after our beef combo meal. Please remember to give that . The first 3 times I came they never gave it to me and I didn’t even know I was supposed to get it till they randomly gave it one day. Overall this place is great but paying the bill is annoying

This place is one of favorite places to go with friends, great food and great atmosphere to catch up with friends. BUT paying the tab is so annoying since they only split the tab 3 ways with a card. So if you end up going with a large party 3 people are stuck with the tab and the rest need to Venmo or whatever. If they had Toast payroll where everyone could just pay their own stuff from their phones it would make the experience much better.

Came here with Mom to try the place out. Ordered the Tangsooyuk (sweet and sour fried pork) and Jjajjang Myeon (noodles in black bean sauce). The pork was quite good, very crispy and the sauce was perfectly sweet and sour. The sauce for the noodles was a bit bland though. Personally, I feel like the price was a bit high, at least for the quality of the noodles. Might come back for the kbbq instead.

Can not recommend this location enough. My husband and I have been frequenting for over 2 years now with nearly no faults! The food is always fresh, delicious and well worth the price for the quality. Based on other reviews, it seems many are not used to the typical dining expectations seen in asia - often times you have to flag down your server if you need something, which I think is great (leave me alone LOL)! Some servers are definitely straight to the point, but I would not go as far to say rude by any means :)) My one and only complaint is I believe the wings have changed, the last time we got them my husband was not a fan. No big deal, we didn't complain BUT the waitress noticed we weren't eating them and insisted on comping them from the bill. Overall, we are obsessed with this restaurant and will continue to dine there as often as we can! HIGHLY recommend getting the La Galbi to grill, I DREAM about this dish. Great job!

My boyfriend and I came here on a Saturday night when it was relatively slow. Our food came out fresh and was absolutely delicious! Our server, Hunter, was very kind and accommodating. However, two servers (one named “Margaret”) was staring at us intensely for the 45 minutes that we were there. Not only was it severely uncomfortable to have someone watch you like a tv, but also disrespectful. I would’ve understood this behavior if we were there before closing, but we were there four hours before closing and was polite with everyone we encountered. The amazing food was overshadowed by the disturbing situation.

Food was good, had the “all you can eat” from the menu, but not worth the price & horrible experience. We had a little food left over & asked if we can pay extra (on top of the all you can eat price) for the leftover. We were rudely told “no” they would throw it in the garbage. Huh?? Asked if they can charge whatever amount on the menu so it doesn’t get thrown out, didn’t seem right to throw good food out when people are going hungry. Why not let us help minimize the food waste when we were willing to pay extra. Instead we were lectured about the restaurant rules for “all you can eat” & proceeded to tell us not to be wasteful for the next time we come…well we won’t be back.

A little more expensive than I expected ($40 per person for all you can eat is really your best option) so I was hesitant at first. However, Seoul BBQ blew my expectations out of the water. Delicious marinades, quality meat and vegetarian options, and unlimited add-ons were the main highlights. But I have to mention the service: it was absolutely extraordinary! My waiter was there whenever we needed him, always happy to take food/drink orders, refill the water, change the cooking stovetop, and answer any questions we had. Some of the best service I’ve experienced considering the amount of moving parts. The quality really shines though at Seoul BBQ.

Price doesn’t match the quality of food and services. If you ever had a decent k bbq you’ll know this isn’t a real k bbq. We had a long drive going through Connecticut and decided to have dinner at Seoul BBQ. We were seated quickly and ordered 2 orders of pork belly and 1 order of beef brisket. Waitress asked if we want to cook the meat ourselves and I said no but she was nowhere to be found after she served us raw meat. We ended up grill our own food, it was awkward and upsetting since I have never been asked or cook the meat myself in K BBQ. We ate out because we were tired from long drive and didn’t want to cook but here I am grilling my food. Pork belly we order were not whole sliced it was cut in square pieces frozen rock hard, Beef brisket frozen as well very small portions. Blend side dishes no complimentary stew or steam/custard eggs (10/10 k bbq will serve you a small stew and eggs). Basically what you get for $100+ is rock solid frozen square cut meats and few side dishes and 2 bowl of white rice. Be prepare to cook your own meat and good luck trying to get waiter/waitress attention for your needs and you still have to tip them for their non existence. just go to any k supermarket and grill at home you’ll get better quality. As a Korean Seoul BBQ was full of disappointment.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I went here with 3 friends on a Friday night, and we got a table immediately. We ordered a few appetizers, then ordered one of the combos to be shared between the 4 of us. The combo, which includes 2 big platters of raw meat and about 12 side dishes and 3 side sauces, came out within 5 minutes. So, before we even got the appetizers, we were trying to figure out how to fit 17 different dishes on the table without knocking anything over. We were starting to cook the meat on the table's grill, still organizing the items on the table, when they brought our FOUR appetizers out. At this point, our table is so packed with dishes that we have to put some of it on the top of the booth divider. I started to eat as fast as I could because I didn't know WHERE we were going to fit anything else. This is all just straight up WAY too much, WAY too fast, and in the WRONG order! Another problem with this style of cooking/eating is that the raw meat sits right next to all of the cooked ingredients, so if you are not careful, you could cross-contaminate the food that is already safe to eat. I understand this is probably a traditional element of Korean BBQ, but as someone who has studied food safety, this is an unacceptable risk that many people may not be aware of. My friend also complained that the server brought us the check before we asked for it and while we were still eating. I don't personally care about this kind of thing at all, but he was upset about it, and I guess some other people might be as well. With all that being said, ALL the food here was absolutely delicious and incredible! I will certainly return to eat here again if I'm in town. I'm sure some other people may appreciate their fast service, but I don't like going to dine out and feeling as if I have to eat all my food like Goku in DBZ. Also, if you go here, I recommend not wearing any nice clothes that you really care about, since you have a good chance of getting stains on them while you cook on your table's grill.

Personally feel the food quality isn’t the greatest. The wings taste not so fresh. And dry. Also feel pricy: 6 wings for $12.99…the original flavor is just sweet ketchup sauce. Garlic soy flavor isn’t “garlic”. Overall don’t want to come here again. Maybe their bbq part is better but we only did regular dine in table. Can’t judge the rest. Not a crowded place on Friday evening.

It was a cool eating experience and loved all the sides it comes with. I’m giving it 3 stars because I received two different types of liquor in my drinks when I specifically asked for Tito’s and lemonade. The waiter was persistent that they were both with Tito’s when I brought it to his attention, yet the second drink tasted entirely different and I knew it right away it wasn’t because it made me obnoxiously sick. He didn’t seem to want to change it on bill so I said whatever I’m not going to argue with the dude. Whatever drink he gave me and the mix of food all together, I was sick all the way home. However, the pork belly is not marinated and was a bit dry as well as the portions were not good. Some more of the smaller dishes when eating at the BBQ would be better. The service was ok. The waitress we had was nice at first but soon seemed annoyed as it was our first time there then after she finished cooking the food she left and didn't come back to check on us or anything for over an hour. We could see her walk past and avoid us. Another waitress who was serving other tables came by and saw we had empty glasses and offered to get refills. We appreciated that service which honestly saved that place for me. Then people kept coming by our table as we were still eating and talking as we haven't seen each other in about 3 years and they kept putting the check on our table. We would say we aren't done and another would walk by and put it back on the table. This happened 4 times in like 30mins. We were there about 2 hrs. We ordered a solid amount of food and some take out. Came to about $200. You would think we would have had better service. They didn't offer us mints or tell us good bye on our way out. Good but it’s gotten so expensive and they no longer have unlimited side dishes :(

Great atmosphere and great workers! I came with my wife, 2 daughters (age 5 & 6), and my 1yr old. There is a 20% gratuity for parties of 5. I did not expect them to automatically include 20% in my tab, being that the 5th was a BABY! Also, the 5 and 6 yr old took ONE bite of the All You Can Eat and decided they wanted soup. I ate the rest myself and ordered soup for them and was charged for an all you can eat plus the soup for each child. Crazy! Rules are rules I guess, and these people are about their money. Did not consider the fact that as 5 & 6 yr took one bite and changed their minds, as most every single other restaurant does. To top it all off: I ordered a scorpion bowl. Menu says $15. However I got charged $16 because they used Ketel One Vodka. I did not specify what liquor I wanted. Only that I wanted the scorpion bowl on the menu. They threw that in there, nickel and diming. For those reasons, this is my first and most likely last time here. Not that they care, they get business either way.

My husband and I visited Seoul BBQ yesterday for dinner and I can say it was an interesting and enjoyable experience! We had never had Korean food before, but it was always something I was eager to try. The location obviously favors the in table BBQ option, but they do have an entree menu with classic Korean dishes. We ordered the Gun Mandu dumplings and the garlic soy Korean Fried Chicken wings. I loved the chicken wings and loved the sauce flavor we chose! I would definitely order those again, or maybe try the "original" version. The Gun Mandu was good, and the fried dough texture was amazing, but I didn't personally enjoy the filling as much as I had hoped I would. They do puff up a whole lot in the frying process as well. For our entrees, I ordered the Dolpan Bibimbap with Bulgolgi and my husband tried the Bibim Naeng-Myun cold noodles. If I recommended any one thing from this restaurant, it would easily be the bibimbap. It's delicious and the hot pan experience really enhances the overall dish. The Bibim Naeng-Myun is a very different dish, and a unique experience that I haven't had with any other type of cuisine before. The dish is very spicy and the cold noodle broth wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't bad at all. It's worth a try if you are a bit more adventurous or have tried a cold noodle soup type dish before. If you are in the area and either enjoy Korean food or want to try something new and interesting, give this placed a try! If we are ever in the area we might stop by again.

The food is okay, mediocre at best. But the pricing is ABSURD. Korean BBQ for two people costing over $150 is crazy. Definitely not worth the money, you’re better off finding a local mom and pop Korean restaurant that won’t gouge you for money.

We drove 1 hr and 30 minutes to get to this place. We came for the grill but they told we had to wait 25 minutes to be seated on the grill table so we decided to sit at a normal table. Waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order, I basically had to get up and ask the kind lady at the front desk. As a Mexican family we have always been very curious of Korean culture and food so we have been to various Korean restaurants before however this time we felt different, mistreated and even looked at in a funny way by the staff. They basically treated other Koreans and kings while being racist to everyone else) The food was not the best to be honest and very expensive than other Korean places we have been to. We paid $70 for 3 plates plus the tip was 20%. We won’t ever come back to this place for sure.

This nondescript strip mall venue sits quietly right off the route nine exit to Westfarms mall. You might not even notice it except for the fact that there always seems to be lots of cars in front of it. The establishment is a decent size with a large bar of the way to the left, the main dining area centrally located and numerous small private dining areas to the right. We were not familiar with Korean barbecue and took particular delight in the personal grilling stations hibachi-style at a majority of the central dining tables. We were warmly greeted and seated by kind and informative staff who happily explained The menu and the set up to us. There was a large appetizers/soup section to open But I will warn you that the main dishes provide an enormous amount of food so plan accordingly. Not previously educated on the portion size, we ordered the beef/pork fried dumplings to start; there’s six lightly fried meaty pieces Spiced with unfamiliar flavors (to us) and served With a mildly spicy dipping sauce— decent for dumplings. My daughter and I each chose a different Marinated meat to barbecue on our table grill; our selections were presented on a large platter which our server explain to us, started our grill and began the grilling of the meat. There were no fewer than 10 small dishes presented around grill to accompany our selections come on I suspect to enhance the meat. Neither myself nor my daughter are too adventurous when it comes to trying new foods so majority of them just sat there as colorful table decorations. As mentioned previously there was enough food for several more people such that majority of the dumplings and half of our main meals plus rice went home in doggy bags The food was delicious, the staff ever present and noteworthy, the venue attractive and spic-and-span clean, leaving The higher than expected prices as the only minus.
