My partner and I went to check out this restaurant and we were blown away! The food was phenomenal and the homemade kimchi was the best we’ve ever tasted. I got the chicken cutlet with a delicious sweet sauce and my date got the bibimbap. All the side dishes were well prepared. The owner walked us through every part of the meal and was very kind and happy to discuss the dishes. I also appreciate the atmosphere as it’s clean, spacious, and cozy. Plus, the music was calm and not too loud which I personally appreciated. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone and can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely the Best Good Ever!! Ran by the most adorable couple, this quaint restaurant offers flavorful food that will have you wanting to lick the plate and come back the next day! Amazing Kimchi and bulgogi! The owner was wonderful to explain each dish so that you were able to make an informed decision.

always order the number 17 extra spicy ! Garlic sprouts are a must and the cucumbers are crunchy never soggy. The steamed dumpling are good definitely don’t pass on those.

We love this place! This is the restaurant that made my wife and I become foodies! When you go I recommend getting the bulgogi and chicken cutlet and splitting it with your partner. Get the fried dumplings and some egg rolls too for a 10l10 dining experience!

This place is fantastic. I did not have amazing Korean food in Lubbock on my bingo card -- but we were very satisfied and surprised at the quality and taste of the dishes we got. The bulgogi beef is out of this world, and the bibimbap should not be slept on (esp in the hot clay pot). And as others have mentioned, Daniel is the consummate host!

Love the owners. So nice and welcoming every time. We eat everything on the menu. The marinade is amazing. So happy when they have fish cakes. Such a special place we drive from Amarillo for it. Highly recommend to anyone!!!

This place has become a staple when I come visit family in Lubbock. If you haven’t been you need to add it to your list. The food is ALWAYS amazing. The kimchi is the best I’ve had and the family that runs things is the sweetest. If you have questions about their menu they are very helpful. Like eating with family. This place has some decent Korean food. I find it isn't as flavorful, colorful, and bright as other Korean restaurants. In comparison to traditional Korean food, this does have a lot of traditional qualities. It would most likely satisfy your craving. The atmosphere is pleasant and cozy. The ordering process is a little different than what you would expect. It's walking a tight rope of order and serve yourself. Basically you order you're meal at the counter and fetch all the things you'll need to eat, plates, bowls, drinks, napkins, and utensils. The food is brought out timely, hot, and fresh. The traditional Korean side dishes (banchan) have been my favorite part over the meal. I think it's worth trying to decide for yourself if their style of cooking is your cup of tea.

This place is amazing. The ambiance is so peaceful. The customer service is top notch. My 8 yr old loved the little snack dish they gave her before the food came out. The kimchi was soooo delicious I got 2nds during my meal. The Korean short ribs were one of the best I've ever had . I shared that plate with my daughter , she was fighting me for the last pieces . My husband had the spicy chicken galbi , he really liked it . The spicy level wasn't too spicy either . I'll definitely be a regular here 😉

This is Korean food that I really enjoyed while on a business trip. I enjoyed eating kimbap, dolsotbap, bibimbap, and broiler sauce for several days. The owner and his wife were friendly and the staff were also friendly. I think the person who drives it will like it.

The food is PHENOMENAL!!! Very fresh and authentic. Daniel is the most kind host and the restaurant is beautiful on the inside! The homemade kimchi is to die for and everything served was full of flavor! We will definitely be going back over and over again to try everything on the menu!

From the moment you walk in Daniel greets you with a welcome snack and explains the concise menu. The space is spread out with room for plenty including tables for 10. The service was amazing and the food was incredible especially for the price. Great portions of wonderfully fresh cooked Korean food. There were 3 of us which allowed for options we all tried. I'm looking forward to visiting Lubbock again for this Korean gem.

Seoul is a fantastic Korean restaurant that you must visit if you are in the area. We stopped by on the way back home from Austin to Albuquerque because my cousin highly recommended me to eat here. The food was so delicious and atsomospher was welcoming, cozy and clean. The owners are super sweet and polite so my family and I enjoyed our meals even better! The owners cook the food in a Korean traditional way and they make their own kimchi here, too. 사장님 사모님 잘 먹고 갑니다♡ 나중에 또 꼭 들를게요!

This place is great - give it a try if you’re curious, you won’t regret it! I love Korean food, but don’t have many options in my home town so I always seek out a place when I’m traveling. I got the beef bulgogi (spicy), steamed dumplings, and beef fried rice (for a friend). All food tasted great and was ready on time. The gentleman that greeted me at the front was incredibly nice and helpful when I asked a couple questions. Overall, a great experience and it’ll be a place I visit any time I come back to Lubbock.

This is my wife's favorite restaurant in Lubbock. We have been eating here for at least the last six months. The family and staff that run the restaurant are always extremely nice, polite, and really car about their food and their customers. I have never once had cold food here; honestly, I've never even had luke-warm food here. Everything we order is always fresh and hot. This seems to be extremely rare these days, no matter the price point. Highly recommended, 10/10.

This was our first visit, and I was thoroughly impressed. The restaurant looks and feels like it used to be a house so it’s welcoming and comfortable. There’s a lot of space between customers which I appreciate. The staff was very helpful in helping us to decide what we wanted. We had the Haemool Pajun as an appetizer and it was delicious. They make their own dipping sauce that is soy based that I couldn’t get enough of. My husband had Dolsot Bibimbap and because I can’t handle spice, so I opted for the Safe option of shrimp fried rice. It was literally the best fried rice I have ever had. The staff checked on us while we were eating and when the owner/chef realized we were first time visitors, she came out and checked on us and visited with us for a moment. They do give you sides with your meal That consist of radishes, kimchi, fish cakes and broccoli salad. And they will refill the sides as many times as you need. We will definitely this restaurant again.

Good seasoning and they gave us small cheesecakes at the end and free drinks if we wanted, since we were waiting for about an hour. It took a long time but they said they were cooking the white rice with which they serve all the dishes. We almost left because we saw that they were serving all the tables and they didn't come to us. Finally, they apologized and were very kind. Prices range from $13.99 to $29.99.

My family and I went to try this place last night. The service is the excellent. They are super friendly and helpful. The food is all homemade and incredible. Everything we tried was so delicious! The food came out super fast. The atmosphere was super warm and cozy. It felt like being at home with family. We came hungry and left stuffed. Worth every penny. Our new favorite place! Can't wait to go again! We plan to try something different every time we go until we have tried everything on the menu!

A friend of mine goes there all the time so we decided to go together. The staff is very kind and the food is delicious. I'm definitely ready to go again and again to try all of their menu. They have lots of wonderful choices from no spices to very spicy.

The food was good because it was not too salty or too heavy, just what I wanted. The staff were friendly and helpful, they recommended us dishes and checked in with us about the taste of the food. Soup was delicious especially during this weather!

I took my wife here for dinner around 6:30 on 1/18. When we approached the front door, there was a sign to go in the side. As we entered, there was a very homely feel to the place. There is a lot on non-typical restaurant furniture, and even a couch! There was a line at the counter to order, and it took about 10 minutes to get through it, but that gave us time to review the dishes on the wall. When it was our turn to order, the staff were incredibly kind and explained everything in detail. They were so very helpful and made sure we knew what we were ordering. Once we completed our order, we were then handed a cute little tray of nuts and chocolates, they told us where to find plates, utensils, napkins, to-go containers, and our drinks. We were also free to sit wherever we liked. It took about 20 minutes to receive our food, but it was so worth it! You could tell everything was authentic and made from scratch! We could feel the love in every bite! We tried the Haemool Pajun first. This was like a rice flour pancake filled with seafood and scallions. It was phenomenal. And the dipping sauce that came with it was out of this world! It was so good, we asked for more, so we could put it on everything! My wife was a little unsure of what she would like, but she is familiar with fried rice, so she got the shrimp fried rice. She really enjoyed it. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, and when she added the dipping sauce previously mentioned, it became one of the best fried rice dishes she has ever had! I got the Dolsot Bibimbap. It comes in an extremely hot stone bowl with an uncooked egg yolk on top. The rice on the bottom gets crispy, and the egg yolk cooks as you stir! You are also given sides of radishes, kimchi, fish cakes, and broccoli salad. All of them were delicious, and they will bring you more at your request. I added all the sides, stirred them in, and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. As we were eating, the staff checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything else. They were very kind and genuine. We really enjoyed our experience here and had a good time!

This was the perfect place for dinner on a chilly winter day. The owner is super nice and a real ambassador for the food. I got the dak-bokkeum-tang (spicy chicken stew) and it was delicious. The portion is also huge—there were two whole chicken thighs, and it was full of potato, carrot, and onion. The banchan were also delicious— my favorite was the cucumbers. My partner got the tofu bibimbap in the stone bowl and really enjoyed it— we love finding places with good vegetarian options!

I grew up in Korea. But I’ve also lived in one of the largest cities in the US most of my life. So I came here with low expectations just because I was going to ask them for something extra spicy to open up my swollen sinus from allergies. But dang, this place was good. All the ingredients were obviously hand chopped, and even the spicy rice cake was almost perfect in that it was missing some quail eggs, ramen, and some soju to chase it. Even the restaurant decor looks like my mom’s house. I swear every Korean mom’s house looks like this restaurant. If you’re in Lubbock, give it a try. I promise it’s better than the mediocre Mexican joint you were about to try. The owner is super nice about explaining what every thing is, even without you asking. I swear Kim’s Convenience was inspired by this dude…

Awesome food with outstanding service. It's a local restaurant with it's own little quirks, such as; don't seat yourself until you order your food! The menu is wide and portions are hefty. They don't have too much seating, so it can be a little wait but it's worth it. The best hidden gem Korean in Lubbock.

This restaurant was amazing from the service to the food. Don't let the outside or parking lot fool you. The food was hot and fresh well seasoned. The servers kept coming out and asking if we needed anything else. They really made us feel welcomed. The experience was more then just food. It had a warm welcoming feeling. The person at the counter explained all the dishes we had questions about was very informative. I highly recommend trying this place if you haven't.

There are not enough stars to rate this properly. This is by far Lubbock's BEST restaurant! The owner is one of the sweetest people you can ever meet. I felt like I was eating in my grandma's dining room. The food is homemade and you can tell. They have 2 specials that were on display, I tried one of the soups. This was the single best dish I have ever had the pleasure of eating. This food is exceptional. Better than anything in Dallas, Austin, or Houston. The service was beyond excellent, again it feels like I'm dining with family. I felt so well taken care of. The atmosphere is the best part. Seoul Korean Cuisine is the most homey and welcoming restaurant in Lubbock. The environment is very chill. As soon as we walked in the door we both felt very comfortable. The restaurant has excellent lighting between artificial and natural light. The interior is very warm and comfy. In summary, Seoul Korean Cuisine is not only my favorite restaurant in Lubbock, but my favorite restaurant I've dined at. I truly believe everyone should try this for themselves.

What can I say, I loved the place. I loved the environment. I took my roommate here to eat here because I've always wanted to try this Korean restaurant, and 5/5, didn't disappoint. I had a great time. The staff was super nice and cordial. I had the chance to talk with the chef ( I believe), and she was super nice and attentive. We had a minor inconvenience, but they were super professional and took care of it in less than 5 minutes. I highly recommend it and I will definitely visit more than once.

It was a pleasant surprise to have discovered this restaurant. Our quick stopover at Lubbock for lunch was more than the satifaction for the authentic food we ordered, but the super friendly and accommodating staff and in-person service by owner, "Sue". According to her, she put in "extra" glass noodle side because it's "Thankgiving" day in Korea. We were touched by two regular customers who came for special visit to Sue with special gifts. It happened right in front of us and got us emotional just to see how they appreciated her friendship. We felt we already knew her. A person who has a lot of passion in painting and jewelry design tell a lot about how passionate she is to customers and how she presents her food. This restaurant was amazing. Not only was the food fantastic but the service was beyond the best service I've ever had from a restaurant. We had 13 people with us tonight and everyone ate all of their food. Go eat there you will not regret it.
