Our new favorite go to restaurants

We made a reservation well in advance for 7/27/24. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived. We were seated behind a curtain at a four top. Our waitress took appetizer and drink orders which arrived 20 minutes later. The ice had halfway melted and the other drinks were not cold but the appetizers were. I had to go to the bar to get a second round of drinks and they were as they should be. We bussed our own plates prior to dinner, on a tray outside the curtain. Waitress didn't care that we had new drinks without her help and cleaned table. Dinner was served "a little closer to temp". One large group for birthday made so much noise, the table across from us complained. It was ridiculous and a very disappointing evening, hope they learn and do better.

A gem to eat at in a small city. We truly enjoyed our food.

I took my mom there for a nice evening out, and our experience was awful. I ordered a medium well steak and she ordered the hamburger steak. What we received was burnt and not edible. The remedy? We had to pay because of a, ' we're not responsible for steaks' clause on the menu. Having patronized this business in the past several times, we were thoroughly disgusted. I also kindly informed them that I would submit a review.

Beautiful service, good, and dining area! Filet was yummy and cooked perfectly. A little char on the outside and medium rare on the inside.

Food was prepared fresh. It was well seasoned, I mean perfect. I enjoyed every bite.

Nice restaurant you sit in small booths but you can also sit outside or in a smaller dining room. Tables are set with tablecloths eats from porcelain dishes with real cutlery 🍽️ and drinks from real glasses.👍 Service was very friendly and attentive. Food was very tasty 😋 and also very plentiful. As a little amusement there was bread 🥖 and olive oil 🫒. Soft drinks and water were free.👍 Price performance ratio top Unreservedly recommended!

I had the shrimp and grits! They were seasoned well but my grits weren't done, the bell peppers weren't tender, and my shrimp were a little overcooked..... The drinks 🍸 were top tier!

They really need to train their staff better. Large group of 30+ and it was a mess. Only had one waiter. Took three hours to get out of there.

Party of 30 with one waiter. Arrived at 7 and did not get main course until 9:20. Several of the party's food was cold when received. Disappointed to say the least.

Fantastic food at super reasonable prices in a really nice place with curtained off rooms for privacy. Cooper and the staff were great—efficient, friendly and informative. Highly recommended!

Everything was excellent We tried four different entrées and they were all excellent.

We made plans for two weeks to eat dinner at this restaurant. At 6 pm we are told they aren’t accepting any more customers for the evening. We won’t be back. The bar was wide open. We could have been seated there but it wasn’t even offered. To hell with any restaurant that isn’t interested in seating customers.

Decided to try a new spot while in town and was glad I did. The meatballs were spot on! I'm sure they would be great with pasta! The Cesar's salad with asparagus and salmon hit the spot, light and tasty! Didn't realize they had a drive thru until that's where I had to pick up my order. Staff was super nice!

Experience of a lifetime!! Service is awesome and food is exceptional.

I notice with all of the reviews that this place needs an updated review: 100% Great!! We did have to wait to get our order taken but thats ok because it gave our family some time to talk. We came during the $10 Hamburger Night so I had that with bacon. Gotta have bacon on my burger and it was so delicious. I also had the fried pickles as I LOVE them!! The best fried pickles I’ve ever had 100%! I would definitely come back to this place when I’m in Greenwood again.

The quality of the food and service were superb.

I booked the room with Erin for my birthday dinner like 2 weeks before my birthday. She said she’s the manager! She didn’t mention a deposit or any fee for the room. So yesterday my dinner was for 7pm. I stopped by at 6pm to drop my cake off & she asked did I pay a deposit for the room. & they had gave the ROOM AWAY! I was livid! She never mentioned a deposit. I asked her about a deposit. She said it was $100 deposit only if it’s 20 or more people. I was not having more than 15 so I said I didn’t need to pay it. She said we could get a smaller area with booths. My thing is if I booked the room already why would they book it for somebody else with more people.. i guess because they had more people & would be spending more money! Idk! I could have paid the $100 deposit if I needed to! She didn’t mention it. I was very upset. We ended up getting the smaller booths because I had invited people, got a cake & had my makeup done. The food was ok! It came out quick. & they close at 9. It says 10. It’s needs to be updated! I was thinking 10pm. It’s not! I would not recommend! Y’all need a new manager if she’s the manager!

I had the penne pasta with the creamy pesto sauce. The pasta was cooked to perfection. I don't usually have cream sauces, but I tried and was thoroughly impressed. The cream sauce didn't over power the pesto. It was very balance. The bread bowl was excellent in flavor and texture. Our waitress was very accomodating, since a busload (literally)of people came in just before us. We still got our food in a timely manner. I'd go back again .

I would not recommend to animals!!! The service is the worst I have EVER seen. It is managed poorly. I have had their food and it was pretty good for takeout. But the manager should look for another career because the customer service sucks! I wouldn’t recommend if you like customer service. Always a memorable meal, warm laid-back atmosphere, and splendid food. The service is great; from the hostess to the waitstaff to the bartender, everyone here greeted us upon arrival and then again when we began gathering coats and umbrellas to leave. For a gem of an Italian restaurant buried in the Delta soil, there's no better option than Serio's.

Ordered the filet medium rare, it was perfectly done and perfectly seasoned. The bartender Ashley, was amazing she provided knowledge of the product and offered recommendations. Sergio’s is a definite must try when in Greenwood.

I had the baked salmon. It was delicious. I was with a party of 8 and everyone had great food. The service was excellent as well.

The spaghetti tasted like noodles with Tomato water..

The staff was young and friendly. They seemed eager to serve us. The bartender was very attentive and made sure we had "adequate " drinks. We felt really good by the time we left.

The fried dill pickles were good and the Serio's pasta sauce with angel hair was tasty. Service was friendly and fast.

We love the food and service in this longtime local favorite spot. Steaks, Seafood, Pasta what more could you want. Pasta is literally available any way you want. 8 different sauces.

In this time of Covid, I called in an order and picked up at the drive through. The employee was very pleasant and the food affordable. The restaurant building looked nice and I hope to eat in the next visit. I ordered the Chicken Ravioli Rose’ and a Caesar Salad to take to my hotel room. I found the sauce good but a bit runny. The menu at this Italian restaurant is varied and includes pizza, burgers and sandwiches as well as creating your own pasta choosing noodle, sauce and toppings.

We absolutely love Serio's. Every time we are in Greenwood we try to stop by. We have traveled across the country and several other countries and my wife thinks that Serio's Chicken Picata is the best she has ever had anywhere.

If you are ever in Greenwood or live in Greenwood, then stop by Serios if you have trouble cooking like mama Soprano or don't feel like cooking at all, then go out for the night. Serio' s has great italin food in town, even there eggplant parmesan is just heavenly. The staff is friendly and excellent service.

Best spinach dip and bread pudding in town. Love this place

Nice lunch with a limited menu. Got the grilled catfish which was good but the sides were also limited. No options beyond fries. The catfish came with slaw also only to find out before the fish was served that slaw was available only at dinner. So the overall rating is average.

I didn't expect much because it is in the smalltown of greenwood but I was suprised. I had the family recipe and calamari. Everything tasted pretty good and was well seasoned.

The food is always good, just be prepared to be there a while. They have a single 5 star waitress, a single 4 star waitress, and the rest I would give 2 stars.

Had some of the best shrimp and grits I've ever had!

It's ok if your not looking for Italian.

We stopped in while on a business trip expecting some good Italian food based on the name only :). I ate the fettuccine and it was ok but I’ve had a lot better at other mom and pop Italian eateries. There were very few people the night we stopped in and the service was minimal. One of my coworkers had to get up and refill his own water. I don’t stop in Greenwood too often but I’ll hit up some of the other places before I try this one again. Also be aware that they have different menu offerings depending on the day of the week.

The steak was like butter! The service was effective and friendly. Very accommodating staff and excellent food!

Food is excellent. Bocce is great. The girl mopping should be serving, and the girl serving should be mopping.

The atmosphere was open, accommodating, and relaxing. A friendly staff member promptly took care of patrons needs as they cycled. Nothing could compare to the phenomenal aroma that overtakes you when receiving your entree. The taste was exactly as expected (wishing for)!

Best Bloody Mary I’ve had in a long while. The Shrimp and grits were fantastic. Can’t wait to go back. Great service, also.

My dinner companion and I ordered half a dozen hot tamales as an appetizer. The proportion was generous (three tamales would have been plenty). The tamales were very spicy. Salads with the house dressing (Italian, of course) arrived next. Delicious, along with sliced warm bread and garlic bread. Two entrees followed: (1) spaghetti with meat sauce. Very tasty, though more sauce would have been a plus; (2) beef lasagna: very hot from the oven and cheesy. We would recommend both entrees. Also ordered a six-inch pizza which was very good; crust seemed homemade. Serio’s atmosphere is inviting, with partial walls around most tables, allowing for semi-private dining. This was my first trip to Serio’s. Bottom line: I would eat there again.

We went to brunch with a group of friends. We were served water and never a refill. Not once. After being seated for 20 minutes we had to ask to place a cocktail order. (And the second one also) We ordered brunch and two of our guests had quiche that was ice cold and both had to be sent back. That was served with a small green (lettuce) salad on the same plate. One asked for an egg white omelet and was told they couldn't make it. I had baked eggs and grits. It was actually a fried egg that was barley cooked. (Didn't eat) The grits were eatable but not fresh. I had to clear the glasses (twice) from the table for the server. This is a new deal st Serios but we won't be back. Poorly managed and food was way below average.

Hostess made it sound as a favor to let us dine. Njce facilities and service was adaquet but not outstanding. Had a party of 8, food delivered in a timely manner and was OK. Had a cheese pizza that just that. No sauce just crust and cheese. Well over priced for what was delivered.

Nice restaurant, good variety on menu, prices good, staff very polite and professional. Been here twice, first time food was a bit bland (had chicken parm and spaghetti) but the salad was the bomb. Gave it a second try and this time the pizza and salad were Yummy!! Will visit again. Not a whole lot of sit down choices in Greenwood but this is definitely one to try.

Was on the hotel's list of restaurants, but after going by the the first 4 or 5 down in the "shady" part of town we were glad we just drove around and came up on it. Great service. Great food and atmosphere.

Great Italian food. Try Mama Serio's Lasagna or anything with meatballs. The " Build your own" pizzas are great, too.

My son wanted to go to Serio's for his birthday. The food was very good. Best Italian around. And the waitress was very friendly and attentive. Definitely going back.

wide ranging Italian menu, clean as hospital should be, excellent wait staff, engaged ownership also has some Delta traditions like chop salad, tamales, and many more I had the Tuscan pork cutlets, was huge portion and a subtle but flavorful light cream sauce, a big recommend. This place definitely worth the funny turn off the highway!

One of my favorite eating spots in Greenwood. I've never tried anything on the menu that I didn't like. On the bar side, Jenna is awesome bartender that takes care of her customers. Highly recommend

I was in town on business and saw this nice clean looking upscale restaurant behind Taco Bell. I ordered the angel hair pasta with Meatballs as recommended by my server. It came with 2 huge meatballs and French bread and garlic bread. The tomato base sauce was tasty as well as the meatballs. I cant wait to try some of the other items the next time I'm in town!!

This evening I tried their shrimp and grits with the addition of crabmeat. On the plus side, the crab meat was real, not the imitation kind. On the minus side: The dish was barely warm. The grits were crusty and probably reheated in the microwave after sitting in the pan since morning. The shrimp were overcooked and rubbery. The server reassured that the dish was on the larger side, but what came out was very modest in size. The bread they serve before the meal was definitely stale.

Carries my grandson there last week, good food, the bread they bring you before you order is just too good. I had Shrimp and Grits, very very good.

Love this place! Great tamales! Sauce is incredible. Chicken Piccata is very good. Chocolate cheesecake is wonderful. Have enjoyed everything. Service is usually great. Enjoy playing bocce ball on the back patio when weather is nice!

Really good italian food with a nice lounge area. The steaks are normally excellent and they offer several different "butter sauces" to compliment the flavor. The "specials" are hit and miss - I'd stick to the italian and steak entrees.

Incredible food. First visit. I had a chicken dish and my husband had the special which was crab meat over rice and he said it was delicious. Had the Greek salad which was great and grilled asparagus and spinach. All highly recommended

Hubby and I were passing through Greenwood and found Serios on Google maps. It is beautiful inside and we were seated in a private area near the quiet bar. We both had the Greek salad - hubby with seared tuna and me with broiled chicken....

If you're ever staying in Greenwood, MS, you'll quickly discover that there are not many choices for a good meal (Captain D's does not qualify). The desk clerk at the Comfort Suites suggested this place so off I went. I'm really surprised it isn't already...
