Food was delicious! Service was really nice and patient with us. The potato cakes were sooo good definitely must try! I don’t believe they’re listed on the menu (unless I missed it) but if you ask for them they’ll bring them out! Definitely give this place a try if you haven’t!

My family and I ate dinner at Shivers in December 2023–we brought our baby with us and were thrilled to get pictures with Santa too! We had a phenomenal experience—the food was fresh and delicious (we loved the complimentary hush puppies and greens in addition to our chicken tenders, fried catfish, fried shrimp, oyster poboy, fries, baked potato, sweet potato)…and although she was busy, our waitress, Ashley V, was attentive, knowledgeable, courteous, quick, and friendly…and my father-in-law also enjoyed browsing the local memorabilia on the walls. We were all so full, but the desserts looked amazing too! We even grabbed coloring sheets on the way out for us to enjoy at home! :) Shivers is a hidden gem—you can’t go wrong with anything your order!! Some of the best southern seafood we’ve ever had! We will definitely be back soon!

Every one was super friendly. The waitress was very attentive to the needs of everyone of our table. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were more than ample. We had to drive a long ways to get there from where we live and it was totally worth it. I would do it again. In fact l am looking forward to returning.

There is a line most weekends. It’s worth the drive . Best cold slaw the best turnip greens . It all good . The fish is not overly done . Ashley was our server ,she did a great job . There is some local history picture an news clippings . I really like that type of thing .

I've been to Easons more times than I can count and came back to the county for a visit and my friends took me to this fish house. They served a very good meal for a fair price and I hope that they continue to succeed.

This is our favorite place to eat. The fish and slaw are our favorite. If something is not like you wanted they are quick to fix it. This is a great place to eat ! When my kids come up from Louisiana that is where they want to eat.

Delicious fried catfish filets with a sweet potato, crispy hush puppies, wonderful coleslaw, and divine turnip greens! The sweet tea was so refreshing!!! Amazingly friendly staff. We were welcomed from the time we entered until the time we left! We will definitely be coming back!!

Great service, got the seafood platter and everything was really good aside from the fried fish fillet were a bit overdone and dry. Overall a good place to eat.

My family and I ate here for the first time the other day. I love the fact that greens, hush puppies, and coleslaw are brought out for the entire table. I really enjoyed the catfish and all the fixings. I look forward to eating here again in the future.

Called in order from online menu. They really need to update the prices. I ordered all you can eat whole catfish(4) $18.99. Ordered deep fried fish bait(6) $9.99. Get there to pick up order & told no deep fried fish bait. Pay for order & go home. Get home & look at receipt $21.99 for the whole catfish. $3 difference in price. I like to know price before I buy anything. Then food was not all that 😕. I think I'll make the drive to Eason's next time.

Oh mylanta! Saturday was my first time with my Mamma/Daddy & I'd wanted to go for a long time but finally got there. We loved it. I had the grilled blackened redfish & they got the fried catfish. And I never eat turnipgreens but I ate their greens with pepper sauce and salt. To say that I have spread the word is an understatement. We will be back!❤

I got the 7 piece catfish, and fries. With that and the hush puppies and coleslaw, I couldn’t eat all of it. Everything was delicious. My husband said the turnip greens was delicious too.

Our first time dining, definitely won’t be our last time. Nice friendly environment the manager is very courteous and our server Ms Rene was awesome.
