This was our first time. We ordered capresi salad with heirloom tomatoes, but instead we got regular cheap tomatoes, we ordered halibut dinner $56.but instead we got swords fish dinner. That was quite sad.I didn't think we would be back to eat here again.

As a local, we've been once for dinner and never returned. They use to have a great lunch, but they did away with lunch about 2 years ago. Now they offer dinner only and the menu is extremely limited and NEVER changes; literally been the same since they first opened about 6 years ago. That's the whole reason we'd never return....I had the garlic chicken and it was fair. My husband had the surf and turf salad...also fair. And apparently the owner, Aaron, does not appreciate this sort of feedback as seen in a recent FB post. Given this exchange it's guaranteed we will never return. But others should be aware....

Really sad experience. Used to come here all the time when Blue Funk was the chef. The lobster bisque was watery and tasteless and the “truffle” Mac and cheese was very bland. The butterfish portion was incredibly small. Best thing was the caprese salad (just tomatoes and cheese) Brought the concerns up to the server Amy and she just walked away… There’s so many other good restaurants in town but would recommend skipping this one.

Great, fabulously fabulous. Entertaining also...must have been rich, spoiled, and feeling entitled guest at two tables. Their attitudes were atrocious and absurd. They constantly nick-picked. It truly seemed like a skit from The Carroll Burnette TV Show. Our table was entertained by their never-ending cacophony of everlasting displeasure. As bad as their children were, the Adults were abominations. I have been here several times, and I bring my out of town guests for a treat. This is my go-to place. I love it. When we left, I excused myself from my guest, I returned to those two tables, and I introduced myself. I asked if they were newly rich and wealthy, did they win the Lottery or something? Then, I made a declarative statement to both, before you leave home, take the time to practice being wealthy and cultured as your attitudes and demeanor and snobbish, entitled behavior make the Truly old-money Aristocrat's like myself, look awful. Every one of them, without exception, looked EXACTLY like Deer caught in a car's headlights. Definitely not accustomed to critique ! As I walked away, I added, "All of you were most entertaining to my guest and myself. Please, do try this fine establishment. I offer my high regards to the staff that politely endured. I offer my highest regards, 'ALWAYS, to Chef, Magnificent experience every visit. Dosvadonya!

I have celiac, let the server know. Ordered a gluten free menu item and chef ran out to stop me mid bite. Server said they would comp the meal. Chef comes out 2 minutes later and says " Will take 50% off your order." The Roman was made with gluten free spaghetti noodles. Unsure if they gave me Tamari for the sushi roll. This is the first and last time I will be going there. They have good potential and I'm sure they cook ok meals. I wish them luck.

Very good menu with different things for everyone. Even so, someone in our party wanted to blend from different sides and they were very accommodating. The pork loin was excellent. All good was well prepared and the server (who we recognized from another place) was great. If you can afford this place, absolutely go in!

Called early in day to request take-out order, explaining why I could not make a reservation on-site. It's my birthday and I'm a full-time caregiver for my 💯 disabled husband who is on an IV. Order was taken and time to pick up agreed upon (I have a very short window that I can be away from home). At agreed upon time, I showed up -- no one had a record of the order; staff was flustered; they inquired about who took order; and then I got "we can have it ready in 5-10 minutes". Not familiar with what goes on behind the scenes, but you're going to churn out my $150 order in 5-10 minutes? Forget it! It's not just my disappointment, but the fact that I had timed my husband's meals and food intake accordingly. Nearly only place open in town on a Sunday night and it was "dead". No wonder!!! Highly disappointing and terrible business practice! I'm a local and will assuredly share my negative experience with others.

Show Thyme's idea of Jambalaya and mine are miles apart. I've had some great meals in BIgfork but this wasn't one of them. You might have a better experience with other dishes or you might enjoy Show Thyme's rendition of Jambalaya but I don't think it would pass muster in the "big easy" or for that matter Eureka.

We stopped here after a long day in Glacier, tired and hungry with absolutely no expectations and WOW!! Our meals were exquisite. We had a beautiful shrimp creole appetizer with a delicate sauce the likes of which I have never had. My husband had pork. I had butterfish. It was beautifully presented with sides I can't adequately describe and one of the best meals I have ever had. Highly recommended!

Ok. So, we made a reservation 6 months prior to our event. We were immediately greeted with sarcasm, and then our party of 7 was placed in the dungeon like basement, it was cold and damp (much like the bartender’s attitude). The menu was not friendly to those who have food sensitivities. Some of our meals were burnt. The bartender/server was extremely hostile towards us from the beginning, one drink even took over 20mins to arrive, due to the fact that he was talking to his friends at the bar. The bartender was aggressive, hostile, argumentative, continually provoking, rude and did not hesitate dropping F bombs in front of my 12yro daughter. He did not stop but kept coming at us with sarcasm, insults, and attacking comments. The evening went downhill from there, we were asked to leave before we finished our meals. We are happy to say that we will never return, and hope that you would consider dining elsewhere.

The only ‘nice’ restaurant in Bigfork. Next to the theater and can easily make curtain time. It is spendy ( but what restaurant isn’t?). I had the scallops and it was outstanding. I could have just the farrow?/couscous? And been happy. Hubby said the prime rib was chewy and overdone. The dessert was fabulous but who can go wrong with a brownie sundae?

Great concept, we need more places like this in the valley. Really cool building that was once a bank with the vault still in place being used as a wine cellar. Speakeasy is cool but just a little too dimly lit. Execution of the food however left a little to be desired. I ordered the local mushrooms that was mostly just cremini and a few oysters in too much sauce with a small, thin piece of puff pastry of the side and another soggy piece under the mushrooms. I also ordered the charcuterie board for $35. The honeycomb was great and so was the cheddar. Also included was a cheap herbed chevre which wasn’t bad and a flavorless yellow cheese. I love that they make their meats in house, that’s so cool, but they were sliced way too thick and not cured long enough. The ham was inedible because it was way too salty as were the caper berries. This dish would really benefit from some more palate-cleansing components like a moustarda or some pickled veggies. Lastly the bread was too thick and over salted. I would like to come back and try some other dishes in the future. I bet steaks and pasta are a safe bet.

We eat at Showthyme frequently! My go-to order is a sushi roll, Aaron’s Caesar Salad or a Capese Salad. I always get whatever desert specials they have but my faves are the Brownie Sundae and the Bread Pudding. The cocktails are always great and the service is Montana down-home friendly as you’d hope. If you can’t find something to eat on Aaron’s diverse menu, you probably won’t be happy at any MT restaurant. 🤠

We will never go to eat dinner at this restaraunt again. Service was horrible, food was not great, menu was not friendly for people that do not like red meat or chicken, only one fish choice. There was a Birthday party for kids and was not a great experience for adults that were spending a large ticket price for dinner. My husband had his Birthday dinner at this restaraunt and had choices of places to go. We gave this place a chance and we were not happy at all.

Terrible experance. Had reservation for 7pm, upon arrival hostess informed us that our table had people "hanging out since 5" and asked if we wanted a table downstairs in the speak easy. Sounded fun! Bartender downstairs was very busy telling stories at the bar and it took some time to ask if we "wanted anything to drink" After ordering drinks he disappeared for some time and returned with our cocktails. He seemed more concerned with going back to storytelling at the bar. He did take our order for a appetizer but we decided we wanted a table upstairs with hopefully better service. He informed me that I needed to pay my tab downstairs because "the waiter upstairs was a F..k and did not share his tips. Upstairs was no better. Waiter was short with us and cocky. My wife had the rib eye. After seeing her reject several bites, she told me it was tough. My wife likes rib eyes and orders them all the time. She knows how the cut should be. Upon telling the waiter about the steak he told us " I do not understand - we only buy the best beef from Dillon" and walked away. Never again.

Tried several calls for reservations-finally someone got back the day of the reservation to confirm, by then we made other reservations elsewhere. They need to realize that people must make plans ahead of time not on the day of the reservation!! We dined there last week-simply awful food, fish was gummy, and the other things were just terrible. In addition, the wine prices are way out of sight-expensive and the awful food was expensive as well....not going back there!!! ..

We were LED downstairs couples he accommodated Us by turning down the volume of the music for our hard hearing partners but we had to sit across from each other as couples for our bill to be tabbed a slight inconvenience since we three couples hadn't been together for a long time and we're trying to catch up with each other two of us ordered the jambalaya they did not have crawfish and so we ordered shrimp Tree Place the Crawfish and we're told there would be no extra charge however when the bill came we were charged an additional six bucks for the shrimp at this point only one of six of us we're happy with the meal in fact one of us rather than complaining eight fish that was not through the cooked and is now having severe problems we will not go back to Showtime such a great disappointment for a pricey restaurant

I really wanted to like this place and I do but their execution could have been better. My pork chop was overcooked. The menu is creative and very good. I wasn't a huge fan of the lobster bisque just because I've had so many great bisques. The mushrooms were fantastic and the brussel sprouts were excellent and the dessert was sufficient. Watermelon salad was good though I think they could have improved the presentation of it. The prime rib tasted great but was also a little overcooked. The chicken was cooked excellently and was very tender.

Did you know there is a hidden speakeasy bar in the cellar of what used to be the bank vault below the restaurant? Its open thurs, fri, saturday. Get there early before your reservation and knock a few back while unwinding on the comfy seating with Gabby your dedicated and attentive bar-keep. They have a specialized drink menu...I recommend the Pain-Killer and will be back just for that, one of the best I have had outside of the Soggy Dollar Bar originators in the BVI's. A couple of those and everything's gonna be alright! Upstairs is good too!

We had delicious meal in a comfortable and well-appointed setting in a renovated old bank, right in the heart of old Big Fork. The staff was knowledgeable and the chef on site and made a point of visiting with guests. To make the experience complete, have a drink in their basement Speak Easy either before or after dining and leave sated and amused.

I had the dining experience of a lifetime here. Thanks to Carl and Chef Aaron. The evening started with a delightful absinthe cocktail, and the eggplant salad. My gal pal and I were truly dining like aristocrats. She had the blackened chicken and I the elk strip, both phenomenal and truly divine. Every hunger satiated. A tour of the levels was even offered to us. Carl's experience is clear and he guides the courses in such a pleasant way. Dare I say it was a dance. I'll be eating here again tonight. The best spot to be in Whitefish. Worth every penny. Left the spot in awe of the food, friends, and laughter shared. Cheers to more years

This place is magic. The food is incredible… you can taste the love and effort that goes into each dish. We live about an hour away from Big Fork, and still find time to come here at least few times a month… if I actually lived in Big Fork, my visits would pay their rent. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the staff are always super awesome. They just built a speakeasy style bar which I haven’t been to yet! I can’t wait for our next little mini vaca. They’re doin stuff real good over there🤘🏼❤️🙏🏼

Disappointed in my experience dining here. I made a reservation about a week in advance and was really looking forward to a nice meal, first time at this restaurant. We showed up on time however they seemed almost surprised to see us. They did not have a table available in the dining room so they took us downstairs to a small table next to the hallway leading to the bathroom and next to the musician. He was playing so it would’ve been very hard to carry on a conversation being only a few feet away from him. The proximity near the bathroom was unappealing as well so we went back upstairs to the deck and ended up having our meal on the patio outdoors. It was shady but warm, somewhere in the 80s and we were the only people sitting out there. My shrimp and grits dinner was OK but quite spicy. Husband and friend had a meal that was better than mine. Overall, it was disappointing especially for what it cost. Not sure I would ever go back…

Happy birthday to me! This is a favorite place of my parents and I to go to in the beautiful town of Bigfork, Montana. The food here is fabulous. This restaurant has history. It was an old bank so the characteristics are unique and beautiful. Do not forget to check out the downstairs.

Our family was en route to Whitefish and stumbled upon ShowThyme as we came through BigFork from Jackson Hole, another resort community. We know good food and service and this restaurant and staff definitely met our hopes for a yummy dinner experience! We shared bites of each other’s Buffalo Wellington, halibut special, and black garlic chicken. We were each impressed and couldn’t even pick a fav! Gene gave us remarkably great service and paid special presentation to even how the plate was turned in front of me. We definitely appreciate the attention to detail! The food was outstanding!!

I've reviewed this restaurant before. Once again it remains my favorite restaurant in Bigfork. I ate there two times in three days. They now have prime rib every night. It is excellent and it is a great addition to an already fabulous menu. The second night I had the shrimp with grits which is still my favorite item. It has eight shrimp and an out of this world Creole sauce. The foraged mushrooms and lobster bisque are the two best appetizers. Aaron and Jenny have a winner. I can't wait to come back for the holidays.

The food was fabulous, beautiful old building with lots of history and the service was best in town! Get the bread pudding. We had a birthday gathering for 18 people, the service and the food was excellent. Whenever we are in the Bigfork area this is the one restaurant that we always eat at. Consistently great food, with enough variety to satisfy anyone in a group. Staff is friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. Thanks again Showthyme ActII

Service was excellent. Menus was unique. I ordered Caribbean serf and turf. Was good but didn't like the way it was served. Not enough to eat. Friends ordered Veal a d said was good but not enough to eat. Prices are high for the amount of food. Probably won't go back

Showtime is an upscale restaurant in downtown Bigfork that sits right next to the Big Fork Theatre it appeared as if Showtime was no longer in business for a while but more recently is opened I don't know if that means that it has seasonal hours or what the story is but the menu appears to be much more upscale and could be a nice place for a date or after theater or before theater dinner
