This was our second time visiting the PA location, 3rd time visiting Silverback Distillery. JC and Taylor were fantastic, enjoyed visiting with them very much. We live in the Adirondacks and tell everyone about this place. Honey Rye is the best and nothing our way compares. See ya next year!! 😊

It was great! We enjoyed the samples of their liquor & then had some delicious, unique drinks. Of course we bought some bottles home. Nice picnic area where we could drink & eat food we brought. Dawn was a great bartender & "hostess". Great personality & very attentive. Spotless clean place.

There are not enough words to express how amazing my experience at Silverback Distillery was last weekend. My wife was planning a surprise 60th birthday experience for her dad who is an avid bourbon, whiskey, and scotch drinker. During our search for activities to do, we stumbled upon Silverback Distillery. We scheduled a private tour and tasting for our group of 6. J.C. provided us with an incredible tour and tasting experience. He took the time to get to know us before starting the tour and used our conversations as the catalyst to the tour. The tasting was exceptional. J.C. guided us through how to properly smell, sip, and taste each and every spirit. We were told the stories behind each spirit along with learning about the bottle concepts and imagery. Once the tour and tasting was finished we stayed for a cocktail and the drinks were the perfect icing on the cake. I cannot recommend a stop at Silverback enough.

My family took me to Silverback Distillery on a birthday outing. We walked in not knowing anything about the distillery and walked out being big fans. We had a fantastic tour and tasting session with JC the tasting room manager. The entire staff was fun and welcoming making the whole experience awesome.

My wife and I had a fantastic time! Tried another distillery out here and this was by far the best— best experience, best bartender (Taylor), best bourbons in the area! This is a fantastic distillery and I hope to find their bourbons in our local spirits store.

My group and I did a distillery tour and tasting over the weekend as part of a bachelorette weekend trip and we had a fantastic time. I scheduled everything with JC and I knew just from talking to him on the phone we were in good hands. He showed us around and told us all about the backstory and founding of the distillery and the processes for making the spirits. JC is very knowledgable and truly passionate about his job which made the whole tour even better. He was also so excited to answer all of our questions. The tasting was also great, there was something for everyone in our group (vodka, gin, rum and whisky). I'm not really a whisky drinker, but I'm still thinking about the Honey Rye, it was absolutely delicious. Most of the group ended up buying a bottle or two of something we tasted. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

First time visit , Patrick is great! He walked us through the history and taste profiles for each of the spirits. We enjoyed each but the honey , rye and straight bourbon were are top three.will return!

everything was delicious. The honey whiskey had such an amazing flavor and the Rum was some of the best i had ever tried.

Went here last weekend for my fiancés birthday with his family, we had so much fun! Everything we tried on the menu was delicious. We did the 6 straight tastings, a couple of original and speciality cocktails, and a Smokey the bear smoked whiskey glass. Our bartenders, Rob and I believe Rachel (I’m sorry if wrong!) were very friendly and easy to talk to. They did a great job describing in detail the different whiskeys. We left with two 40 grains and the honey rye. Overall, we had a great experience and I can’t wait to go back!

I was in the area and came to check this place out. Did a quick tasting to try some of their bourbons. The straight bourbon was my favorite (left with a bottle), and the honey rye was second. They have cocktails, some of which they smoke using a barrel head. It was very cool to watch and tasted delicious. Staff are very friendly and personable. Plent of parking. Looked like they have an outdoor area with seating for the warmer months. I would highly recommend this place!

awesome place.. great atmosphere. love going there to have a drink.. try the honey rye. it’s awesome. my favorite drink by far very smooth. employees are nice and very respectful. best secret in the poconos. but there products are better than anything nationally i’ve tried….

We came here tonight as part of our annual Friendsgiving trip as something fun to do. We went on a tour with JC who was so fun and informative and kept us so engaged the entire time as we learned about the company’s history and the distillery process. We really had such a great time and would love to come back again!

Made a reservation for a tour and tasting with JC. Super informative and easy going host. Tasted all varieties and they were all very delicious. Nice facility, clean and plenty of bar space. Thanks JC for an awesome introduction to the spirits!

We met Rachel the bartender and she made the most amazing drinks! This was my favorite distillery out of a long list. The cocktails on the menu were so well done! Wow! Don’t miss out on the SMOKED drinks!!!:)))

Taylor the bartender was great. Very knowledgeable on all products and extremely friendly. Quality products, interesting atmosphere. Make sure you try the smoked smores old fashioned and take home a bottle of the Blackback Honey Rye. I will come back every time I visit the Pocono's.

Stopped by on Friday afternoon with 2 dogs. The staff was very friendly and inviting. We heard the origin story of the brand and thoroughly enjoyed the speciality cocktails and tasting flight. The smoked smores cocktail was amazing. We left with 3 bottles and will definitely be ordering more soon.

Taylor was extremely personable and had great recommendations for drinks to try. She also gave us great insight on the area and other places to experience. I highly recommend the Double Chai or Toasted S’mores. They were the best cocktails we tried. We ended up walking out with four bottles of the honey bourbon (Happy Fathers Day).

Great hospitality and unbelievable whiskey. Only complaint I have is that I cant buy this in NY. Desperately need this in my local liquor store.

Fun drinks and great history! It can get a little crowded so I suggest going when it opens.

Received a bottle as a present. Wasn't impressed. Just average , good for mixed drink. Much better out there. Liked the bottle.

Service was a tad slow but good things come to those who wait. They could charge 100 a bottle for the honey and I'd still buy buy it

I’m not a big distillery person but the flavored drinks they had were amazing! The s’mores and apple ones were my favorite.

This place is a gem! Awesome vibes, great, detailed service from our bartenders that perfected described everything they make! The vodka is great, and the honey rye is absolutely wonderful!

Location is a little off the main rain, adjacent to a now closed airfield. The interior is very comfortable and welcoming. Staff is great to interact with, provides amazing service and does a great job of recommending drinks to your tastes. The spirits are exceptional too. We look forward to coming back and bringing friends.

Just went to silverback for the first time and can’t believe I haven’t been here sooner! Such a gem close to home. The staff was not only friendly but also super knowledgeable about the process and drinks sold/made here. JC Angel and Taylor were awesome and made my experience perfect Definitely will be back

Excellent whiskeys and a very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating staff. After enjoying a 750mL bottle of whiskey that was distilled in house I can confidently recommend this distillery to anyone visiting or staying in the poconos. Always a great experience doing business with a friendly and knowledgeable staff!

This awesome Distillery hand crafted by a mother and daughter team is a must visit. All spirits are so smooooth, that they are dangerously delectable. This is very much encouraged to make a visit.

I visited the area with a group of friends and we went to Silverback for a tour and tasting. JC was a great guide, very knowledgeable and hospitable. The bar is nice and quaint with a warm hometown feel. Definitely would recommend this place a stop. Not to mention the whiskey, bourbon and gin are well worth the trip.

That place is excellent!! Had such a great time, in a well planned out environment, and learned a fair amount from the mixologist. Their liquors are top notch, especially, my favorite, the Strange Monkey Gin. Loved it!!

Definitely a place to visit. Friendly service and quality drinks. The staff and menu accurately and helpfully describe the drinks. Will visit again!

Update on 9/7/2021: So happy to have stopped back again. The cocktails continue to be delicious. I tried the old fashioned for a second time and it was as delicious as I remembered. I also had a smoked s’mores which was served with a perfectly roasted marshmallow. The only sad note was they are no longer smoking into a glass which you then can take home. You get your drink served in plastic now after the shaker is smoked. Original: Really enjoyed this tasting. Well balanced spirits. The Gin is non-traditional which I liked since the juniper was minimized. The bourbon was great. Moonshine was surprising- big bold flavor that is significantly different than the nose. I finished with a smoked cocktail, the manny, which was delish. Our bartender was fabulous (sorry we didn’t get your name!!). He clearly knows his spirits and is a fellow bourbon fan. This is a must stop. The logo is great and the labels on the vodka and Gin are fabulous.
