I enjoy real BBQ and this isn't it. I was expecting alot more of the wood . Meat was very bland mixed with sauce . Here, they mix the meat with the sauce which I don't like. The potato salad was ok , nothing world famous about it. It's basically a mustard base with onions.

I was just passing through town when a friend recommended this place since he knew I lived BBQ. I order the small BBQ plate and even that was more than enough and more than most other places that holds back on the meat well not these guys!!

The absolute BEST bbq around. I stopped by every couple weeks while going to the orthopedic dr in Vidalia. Still go to Silverware’s bbq when I want a good sandwich. Only bbq I like since eating here. Y’all should give them a try, bet ya won’t be disappointed

Wow, great selection, extremely reasonable prices, and they claim to be the home of, "The World's Best Loaded Potato", and I have to give it to them. It not only was good, I couldn't eat it all in on sitting.

My son and I visited this BBQ last Tuesday morning to grab some bbq for the drive to Savannah. They had run out of chicken because an earlier guy had bought like 8 whole chickens. I think they gave me beans instead of the Brunswick stew as (I think) I requested. My son got a pork sandwich and we shared a half rack of ribs. They were absolutely amazing. We finished the last of the ribs later than night, and they were a great start to our vacation. So my conclusion is that this BBQ was 1. "too popular, 2. Nobodys perfect. and 3. The food was galactic!!!!!!

Not only does Silverwares buy their meat locally instead of purchasing from big box food service companies, but they have the best loaded baked potatoes in Toombs County... better yet, the best loaded baked potato in the south.

Great location right on US 1 in Lyons! The BBQ is some of the best you can eat anywhere. Personal favorite is the BBQ Loaded Baked Potato! If you are in Lyons or just traveling through, this should be a must stop!

Delicious bbq! Had the loaded potato and I still have enough for two more meals. Was able to park a 30 foot trailer in parking lot beside. Only thing that would make it better was if they had a bathroom

This is THE place for BBQ. They have chicken, ribs, and pulled barbeque. They are famous for their loaded baked potato and oreo pudding. Everything is made fresh everyday and when he sells out, it's closed. He starts fresh every day. Good eating.

Stopped during a trip (love to try smaller BBQ restaurants) and was amazed at the size, flavor, and quality of their ribs. Got a small order, which would have been a large anywhere else, and it was fantastic. Will definitely go back when I am in the area again. The green beans and Brunswick stew were great as well.

I love the ribs, potato salad, and baked beans @ Silverware’s in Lyons. A small plate is plenty to fill me up. They also have huge baked potatoes stuffed with barbque, cheese, chives, etc. The barbque is delicious and they have Oreo pudding for dessert. It’s a must try if you’re in town!

Stopped here for lunch with my pops on the way back home to Florida. The food and service was fantastic!! The ribs are very good, you'll find yourself chewing on the bones. The pork has a nice tangy sauce, and goes very well with their mustard based potato salad. I strongly recommend this place for some good ol comfort food.

Good BBQ... Great smoked chicken... potato salad and beans are good. The only thing I would say that would make this a perfect bbq joint is the offer un-unsauced Q and slaw.

We were not familiar with the area but this was recommended to us. It is mostly used as a drive thru take out place and there was quite a queue building up when we were eating our meal. However, when we got there, we were able to order straight away (there is a window for people who walk and another for drive thru). I had the ribs and hubby had the loaded potato and we order the oreo cookie dessert. We sat down at the tables near the road and other people were doing the same. Very good ribs, moist and smoky, the potato was delicious with pulled pork and cheese. The oreo dessert was very sweet but fun. We would recommend it as well.

Wow a lot of food for the price

Being from Texas, we love BBQ. This is Southern BBQ - Pork. The atmosphere is casual. They have a walk up window and a drive thru. You take it home or to your car to eat. There are a couple of chairs and a bench to use if the weather is nice. The food is very tasty. Potato salad is a bit sweet with a bit of tang. Portions are good sized so you will not go home hungry. We did not have room to try the Oreo pudding. Do check the hours and days of operations. They are not open on the weekends.
