Really good cheeseburger and I like the onion rings.

Very unpleasant . Because the food was over cooked.and it take a long time to get the food I understand they have a lot of customers and no help.

Had thr Hickory Burger was just working decided to pull in because I was in a truck needed the space just knew it was a awesome little drive-in burger diner and sure enough it was awesome! Looks like the hand patty their own burgers and traditional crinkle fries definitely will be back

My husband had the chicken sandwich and he said it was very delicious 🤤! I had a double big hamburger and it was very delicious too. We both had onion rings and they were very good. We took it home instead of eating inside our car or outside there. It smells just like an old fashioned hamburger 🍔 joint. Overall if you have not been there yet, try to make some time to go...you won't be disappointed.

If you can get there when they're open, you won't find too many better diner burgers and milkshakes anywhere.

I love it everytime I'm in town. My family recommends it. My friends recommends it. I would (and have) drove an hour just to eat their food. People passing by, you need to eat here! It's also so cheap!

Need to be open more and consistent

This place has the best cheeseburgers around. They are cooked fresh to order and have that old drive in taste! Update: 11-19-22…not sure what’s going on with hamburger meat but my last two trips had many hard pieces of bone or cartilage in the meat. I broke one of my back teeth on a bone today. I know they grind their own meat fresh and it’s usually very good but like I said the last two times didn’t turn out too well. Maybe something is wrong with your grinder?

To start, this place wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. This was our first time there and the only reason I'm not rating a 2 star is because it's a small town local business. The burger - Very moist, juicy and cheesy. However, it had absolutely no seasoning on it whatsoever, so the only thing I could taste was unseasoned meat, so it was pretty bland. My husband ordered the "Big Jack" burger, and with the word "Big" in it's name we figured it would be a pretty big burger. However from the picture you can see it's a single patty and not much bigger than the side cup. My regular double burger was twice the size as his. So the portions are really small but do reflect that in the price I guess. I would definitely eat another one of these burgers if it were seasoned properly. The Fries - Were terrible. No flavor or seasoning. The only thing I could taste was the oil they were fried in. The service - The woman who took our order appeared to be new, however her service was lacking. She kept walking away without letting us know what she was doing or answering questions directly so we were just kinda standing there wondering what we were supposed to do. Also, they put the drinks in paper bags. Which is just super weird and a waste of paper. All in all, I may give this place another try just to see if this was an off day, but the first experience wasn't all that great.

Nestled between O'Reilly's Auto Parts and Fugate Ford dealership is an almost invisible white building with no noticeable signage. This is Simone's, which locals know has the best burgers, milkshakes, and everything else a small town restaurant should have. Dine in your car, order at the window, go through the drive through and enjoy your food under their picnic table or at a local park. I'm guessing the #1 seller is the Hickory burger - try it and you'll understand.

Went by here a couple of weeks ago, and it appears that they are now gone. Stopped here on a family road trip. The food was great. The people were very nice. Quite a great hidden gem.

It's not a big fast food chain, but a small, locally owned business that makes your order fresh after you arrive! Enjoy a little wait (normally 15 minutes) and get great local food! Cheeseburgers, Hickory Burgers, chicken strip dinners, and more. Try the "Hick-Dix" (Hickory burger with slaw and chili on top). It's delicious! Plus fies, onion rings and other sides. Add a cherry, vanilla Coke and you have a meal! When returning to "El Do" former residents make Simone's Drive In one of their first stops. Stop, shop and support local businesses!

Good old Diner good food expect a wait of 15 minutes but it is worth it

So I moved to El Do my sophomore year in HS and have been a fan ever since. Whenever we come through to visit family it is always a must stop by.

We stop at Simone's every time we go through El Dorado Springs. Hamburgers are hot fresh and delicious every time. We purchased Limeades on our last visit and they were excellent. Good ole' comfort food, that's well worth the money. Forget McDonald's,,,,,,,,,,,,,,go here.

This old-fashioned drive in has the absolute best burgers, if you don't mind the mess. The burgers are so juicy you can't help getting messy. In the evenings a car hop will bring your food out on an old-fashioned tray that attaches to your car window, just like they did in the 50's. For a bit of nostalgia and great burgers, this is a must try for anyone traveling along Highway 54 in El Dorado Springs, Missouri. I especially love the double big cheeseburger with chili and mustard and a side of onion rings.

The menu is small but specialize in amazing burgers. Greasy? Well absolutely! When you order they cook it. Not before. They do have a drive through window but they also will come out to your vehicle to take and deliver your order. These are my favorite style places when I'm on the road. Love it.

I love going to this little place to get a burger an shake everytime I head to see my grandparents, it is absolutely amazing. At Simone's you they actually get your right the first time, unlike Sonic and other fast food restruants.

I have been eating at Simone's for literally over 30 years and they never fail to deliver! Real meat, best fries ever, and great milkshakes!! Literally my first stop EVERY time I come to town....have never found another burger joint that even comes close in taste or value! Thank you Simone's for years of feeding me, my friends, my kids, and my grandkids!!!

Been eating here for decades. While now under different ownership, the hickory burger was done made to order and was delicious. The fries were their usual crinkle style, crisp yet tender...also delicious. The shake was perfect...not so thick as to collapse the straw while sinking in my eyeballs yet not so thin that it was merely cold chocolate milk. Curb hop was the most efficient polite young lady we've had wait on us in ages. Got the order right and out hot. Great experience.

This was my first time there and it was pretty good. They serve good old fashion hamburgers that are excellent, a bit greasy though. The French fries were also good. Just like the good old days. Carhop service. I'll stop there again.

I saw this place with pretty high reviews and thought I would give it a shot. This place is so local it is not even funny. I pulled in and noticed that everyone is staying in their car so I took their cue. Soon a young lady walked up to the car to take my order and asked me what I wanted - like I should have that figured out by now. But there is no menu by the car - do you kind of need to head on over to the counter to figure that one out. I decide fed to play coy and just asked what was good. "Burgers are great" - so I went with the large cheeseburger - like 6 oz - an order of fries and a coke. "Ok - it'll be 15 minutes, are you coming back or are you waiting...", "We'll, waiting". "Do you want it to go or do you want the tray that hooks to your window so you can eat it here?" " well, to go...." 10 minutes later out comes the meal. IT'S CASH OR CHECK ONLY. That burger was excellent, probably one of the better ones I have ever had, and the fries came straight from my youth. The price was from my youth as well - 6$. Don't miss this local experience - it was a little bit of Americana that you won't get anywhere else.
