Legitimately, this was some of the worst food that I have ever consumed in my entire life. Fairbanks is the capital of good Thai food in Alaska. I ordered what was marketed as Pad Thai, a flagship stable of Thai food and a dish that is very easy to make. What was presented to me should have been unfit for service to those in a penitentiary. It was a pile of sauceless noodles with cold plain chicken and cabbage on the top. I visited simply Thai on the last day of a vacation to Fairbanks and I feel like my entire vacation was ruined by this one meal.

This is awesome Thai food at such a good price and massive portions!

I ordered green curry and found this in my soup. Not okay.

I ordered tofu green curry today and I unexpectedly found a coconut milk tin lid in my soup. I am not happy about finding something inedible and dangerous in my soup. I will not be going here again.

AMAZING FOOD! I got Drunken Noodle and it's fantastic! The people working there are very kind. Big portions.

Just try it. The menu is very simple, but if you won’t regret picking any of the dishes from it. We had yellow and green curry plus a few appetizers and enjoyed it thoroughly.

It was just as good as Lemongrass but faster and better priced. It had the authenticity and amazing quality of any Thai restaurant I have tried. The service was very quick and polite. My only request is labeling the boxes. Other than that it was very delicious.😊

Trying to work my way around to having all the Thai food (specifically all the drunken noodles) here in fairbanks and I've gotta say that Simply Thai so far had blown the others out of the water. So far I've only had Bahn Thai. Pad Thai Restaurant, Noodle House, and Lemongrass but Simply Thai is the top of my list right now.

Simply Thai is a little drive-thru gem. Fresh food, fast wait times, and easy access make this one of my favorite spots for a quick bite. Portions are large and the food is generally a little lighter than a lot of other places, which is nice if you end up eating a lot of Thai food (like I do!). There's usually no line at all, which I don't understand. Highly recommend.

Food is legit. Lady that runs it is super nice and accommodating. Without even asking, put my meal on a bed of cabbage when I asked for no rice. Made the meal even better. Try it out, you'll be stoked.

Very good quality, quantity, and taste at reasonable price. I got basil chicken which had a lot of tender chunks of chicken! I highly recommend.

Hands down the best Thai food I’ve ever had! Maybe the best food I’ve ever had in general! I am in love with the Pad Thai Noodle and the fried rolls! Absolutely incredible. Fried rice is amazing too and I was impressed with the iced coffee! I wish I could eat here forever, I will miss it!

Super nice attention. Tried pad thai for the first time there. It was not good, very dry (almost no sauce), and they made it hot with some chili powder rather than have it integrated into the dish. Tofu was not marinated. Would not recommend, others are better (pad thai or lemongrass).

Straight fire! 10/10 would recommend anything on the menu. My only complaint would be their noodles are thicc… they’re homemade and still delicious so I don’t complain too hard.

We visited the end of Sep. 2021 to see the Aurora. Pretty strange to pull up to such a small building, but the food was good. Would recommend.

A great choice to satisfy your Thai craving! We went here at the beginning of our trip and had to visit again when we were in Fairbanks a week later—it's easily the best Thai food we had out of 5 Thai restaurants we tried around Alaska. The fried rice tastes authentically Thai, and the Pad See Ew was good as well. The second time we went, it was a lot busier and we were the last ones to get rice before it ran out! It is also near the grocery store and Fairbanks hotels, so the location is very accessible.

Super sweet greeting when I pulled up to order. Was going to only get fresh rolls but the menu items looked so yummy I ordered the Garlic Broccoli. There is a window on the back side of the building which gently shades you and your car in the heat. Food was cooked to order and was fast. Lots of drink choices. They use all recycled food containers which is a nice touch. Yummy food! Huge portion and super fresh, like the veggies are from the farmer’s market fresh. Will return for sure!

This local Thai hut offers a vegetarian option of tofu and vegetables with brown rice. The flavor is spot on, portion size is satisfying, service is pleasant and fast, and priced appropriately. Highly recommend.

Great food but check your order before you drive off. The got my last order wrong. But food was hot and yummy!

I've had many beef pad thai's and this is near the top; a little salty but it's fast food. The meals can easily serve two people. Tasty egg rolls. Happened to visit on Halloween, she added many candies into my bag.

Love to always come here, such good service and always delicious food. One of the only places in town that gives me ginger when I ask for it in the amount I want. My kiddos love the food from here as well.

Very good food. Great chicken with vegetables on bed of rice. Food can be spicy or not. Went with mild this time. Will try hotter next time. In winter it is a to go place.

My husband and I absolutely LOVE their pad thai. I always get the tofu pad thai and he gets the chicken one when we are at the farmers market on Saturdays. Never fails to be super delicious.

Simply Thai is a great stop for some quick and tasty Thai food. I've always had friendly service and I love that almost all of the packaging is compostable - almost as much as I love the food.

I love Simply Thai! I am a regular and here at least once a week. It's just a one woman show (most of the time) and she makes the best and most Thai food I've ever had! They do use gluten-free soy sauce, which is a plus for me. My favorite is their Ginger Chicken, which I get extra spicy, but everything on the menu is delicious. The best part of Simply Thai is that it is a drive thru!

Trabajando en Fairbanks durante los veranos, como aquí bastante. Me gusta la comida aquí, no grasosa y de buen sabor y barata como! Su rápido y buen servicio. He ordenado la mayor parte del menú y me encanta el curry, pero está todo bien. Lo único que lamento es que están cerca de las 7 pm, así que me pierdo un par de veces cuando trabajo hasta tarde. Su acroos es el camino de Safeway, así que es ir de compras, cerveza y tailandés a todos en un solo lugar. ! I chose this location based on other Google reviews. I have driven by the restaurant and thought no, that can't really be a Thai food restaurant. The food is amazing, priced fairly, and large portions. I highly recommend.

This is by far my favorite pad thai I've had in Fairbanks, and it's super fast!

Delicious and very glad we made this choice to grab something quick for dinner. Portions we're heart and big for the price. We will be definitely visiting again!

wasn't in to Thai food before I came here. I tried other Thai restaurants in town . I was not impressed . so I'll go completely out of my way just to get Simply Thai. Very reasonable prices also.

I'm new to Fairbanks and am missing the lack of cuisines that I had access to when I was living in Beijing. Nonetheless, this city has a few Thai restaurants and Simply Thai is worth going to if you would like to satisfy a craving. Dishes on average are 10-11 and include a side of rice. I ordered a spicy Pad Kha Prow and while it wasn't the best dish I ordered, it was decent. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. The place takes all sorts of cards and since its near where I'm living, I'm sure I will be back. Since the restaurant is literally a tool shed, it is only open for breakfast and lunch. Closes around 5 or 6pm.

Was looking for a quick meal near the hotel. They took my order at the window and had everything needed for take out. The food was very good.

Really good Thai food and the owners are very accommodating with special requests if they can. Prices were great! Remember Alaska is expensive. Everything has to be flown or shipped in.

Great Thai Iced Tea! Reasonably priced. Hot means HOT, which is hard to say about a lot of places around here. Bamboo is good. I haven't tried the curry. Very friendly staff. Always love pulling up to the window. ^_^

We walked here from Sophie Station hotel. The food was plentiful and delicious. The Thai iced tea was yummy too. We pad Pad Thai with tofu and the flavors were great.

This was a recommended place from a friend of mine who lives in Fairbanks. He eats there for the vegetarian dishes. Not being a vegetarian I can assure you the meat dishes are great as well. I liked the Phad Thai!

As a long time appreciator of Thai food, I love this place! It's some of my very favorite Pad Thai and I've tried it all over the country. Sounds funny to say about a food cart but it never disappoints. Plus, great prices. Who would go to Mcdonalds when you can go here!

Great place to get takeout Thai food fast. Located by Safeway, just drive up and order. Prices are very good and the food tastes great. Spicy, but not so hot that you can't enjoy the food or taste the other flavors. About $10USD per meal.

The restaurant was easily accessed and it was clean. The food was good no complaints. the service was quick and the prices reasonable.

You would not expect this kind of food or service from a drive thru coffee hut. Get the egg rolls and a thai ice tea.
