The Merc is the greatest bar , hangout in eastern South Dakota . Casey and Carleen always make the experience special .. I always feel welcome here ( even though I don’t live in Flandreau). I especially love the live music , all different types .. and always entertaining. If I die and end up in heaven , I hope it feels like a Friday night at the Merc.

Stopped in a couple Saturdays ago with friends and experienced the Cheeseburger Pizza! OMGosh- words can’t describe the sauce and with the pickles it was AMAZING! Tonight I ordered two pizzas to be picked up at 5:15- They were taking them out of the oven when I got there- service was great and they were piping hot when I delivered them to friends! This place is so very cool!

I’ve been going to the Merc regularly now for a couple years. It’s a great centerpiece of the Flandreau social world, with great people, phenomenal service, and tremendous food. Come on out and enjoy some live music, or just hang at the Merc!

Checked out the Merc for the first time to see a friend play some music and was blown away by the hospitality and quality of everything I ordered. The staff and regulars alike were all very kind. Great place all around.

The Merc has such a great place!!!! Fun, food, beverages, music and a super staff taking care of you during my visits. Its worth driving a few extra miles if you’re from the Sioux Falls area!!!

Food is awesome. Atmosphere is even better. Staff is better yet! A huge variety of bevies....everytime I go in there I end up with a new favorite, lol

Fantastic atmosphere, the owners are super nice. Great selection of wine, beer and booze. We've rented out for a birthday party also, ultra competitive pricing and they help you out with whatever you need.

Awesome place to bring friends, get a craft beer on tap, and listen to some live music in an intimate setting. An artistic atmosphere featuring new musicians playing original compositions just about every week. A great South Dakota experience for travelers.

Amazing mercantile store offering unique products you can’t find just anywhere. The owners have done an amazing job to make this place a destination! Stop in and you might stay a few hours. You won’t be disappointed! Always have samples to try, inventory always changing… if you’re lucky Casey may just be playing the guitar and singing when you walk in. ☺️
