This was a bucket list adventure for me, as well as being my 50th birthday gift, and I was so scared! But I HAD to do it, because fear is what makes me grow as a person... Baxter was FANTASTIC! He was so reassuring, and made me feel so safe, while also being funny and trying to lighten my anxious mood, reminding me to smile and enjoy it all! Once the initial complete terror and panic of scooting to the door and falling out of the plane was over, I was amazed at how incredible this was! Life changing experience! I'm still in awe over how he was able to not only safely hurl me out of a perfectly good airplane and get me safely back down to earth while harnessed to him, but also get the incredible photos and videos that he did! And I had it all emailed to me before we even left to go home! I'll definitely be doing this again there! (also, Ginger was also great! She was my boyfriend's tandem instructor, and she made sure to get lots of pics of the 4 of us and even a couple of just me leaving the plane!) Thank you to Baxter and Ginger for giving me & my old man the memory of a lifetime!!!

My gosh, Chad and Charles made my first skydive experience so great. There arent any words to describe what I experienced. Chad and Charles made it even better with how comfortable they made me feel. Talking with them was so much fun. I will be back next year 100%. Hope to see guys again Chad and Charles!

I have been wanting to go skydiving for more than 15 years and yesterday I took my first jump!!! My instructor Ryan was AMAZING! He helped me to feel more calm and comfortable throughout the entire experience. Silvio (the videographer) was also AMAZING and captured my experience perfectly. This was my first time skydiving and I am definitely coming again! Ginger was my instructor who jumped with me and she was amazing, extremely nice and cool to talk to! I don’t know how to describe the jump but it’s like scary and then next thing you know the parachute is open and you’re admiring all the beauty around you! I’ve never had an experience like this and can’t wait to have it again!

My boyfriend and I skydived for the first time over Labor Day weekend and it was so amazing! Beautiful location and views from above. Amazing tandem instructors and videographers that truly made the whole experience so much more enjoyable! Highly recommend if you are looking to skydive for the first or hundredth time. The staff were very professional and knowledgeable about the sport and truly helped ease any nerves we had. Thank you Ginger, Baxter, Charles, and Silvio for such a memorable weekend!! We are already looking forward to our next jump! :)

Ginger, was my girl!! As a mom you make so many decisions, recently the best one, was jumping for my son’s 19th birthday! A bonus was my dad also jumping with us. I chose to jump and let Ginger do all the work, while my wide eye self took every second in. She talked me through everything, and the best part was when we were in the air and she said welcome to my “office”. It was an experience I will never forget! The space we were in was breath taking, absolutely beautiful. We saw God’s creation from another view. The whole day ran smooth, was relaxing and the experience itself was terrifying and exciting. I checked this off my bucket list and glad Ginger was my girl ❤️

The staff were so friendly everybody at Skydive Chicago are doing a terrific job .My tandem instructor was absolutely fantastic. 100 % recommended... don't think twice... This is something everybody have to do at least once in a lifetime ...mandatory... and they make the experience so easy.

Wow!!! What an experience! I went skydiving with my son for my 60th birthday and it’s a birthday I’ll never forget! Chad was the best instructor!! He was informative and made me feel super secure and confident in the jump. I also loved his sense of humor and calming nature. (Believe me, I wasn’t calm!) I would recommend Skydive Chicago to anyone and if you want a great experience, ask for Chad!!!

The tandem jump wasn't anything like I built in my head, it was so much better. Chad was my instructor for the jump and he made everything smooth. We practiced on the ground a few times, got in the plane and practiced a few more times quick. A five and bump to the other jumpers, with great vibes all around, I felt very comfortable trusting the process. Everyone I met from start to finish was happy and grounded. After waiting to do this all my life, I just booked jump #2. Its nothing like a roller coaster but more like riding a motorcycle. It was windy, fast, and fun. There was no stomach drop and at no point did I not feel safe. They surround you with tons of people with experience. Yes, it is scary and dangerous but so is everything else that is fun in life to a certain extent. Anyone on the fence about jumping should go skydive with these guys and gals, they are the best! I didn't get the video package but I wish I got more pictures. Its kinda like getting a hole in one by yourself, memories for me to remember.

Had the most wonderful experience for my first jump at Skydive Chicago. All the staff we met were all so welcoming and supportive during the entire process! Chad was my tandem jumper and Silvio was my videographer. They both were incredible and I felt safe every step of the way! Thank you to everyone who made the day one of the best I’ve had!!

Had my first jump here. Great experience, something that everyone should experience. Thrill rush holds you for days. Would definitely recommend getting media package to picture that moment, because it is one hell of experience. My tandem partner was Matt T. Really experienced guy, will make you feel comfortable and confident in your jump. Also makes great shots and video. Really funny and will explain everything you need. Would definitely recommend to try this out. 5/5

I have to admit. I was super scared of heights and terrified to try this. But after meeting my tandem instructor Chad at skydive Chicago it made me feel safe. Chad is an amazing person to do this experience with and I would absolutely do it again! Face your fears it can be enjoyable!

I did a tandem jump on Sunday August 18, 2024 for my buddies 30th birthday. I was super nervous but was lucky enough to jump with Ginger who made the entire process so much fun and she was so awesome! If you get a chance, try and request her, she is great. Ty Ginger and hope to see you again!☝️

It was a unique and wonderful experience, there are no words to explain it but both the service and the security, how attentive my skydiver Silvio was, 1000/10 always making sure of every detail, I did not feel unsafe for a single second, I would do it 100 times more 🛫🪂✝️

First time jumper & I was lucky to have Baxter as my tandem partner. He was very calm & thorough & gave me the confidence I needed to actually go through with the skydive. We jumped as a family (there were 4 of us & other tandem partners were Ginger, Anthony & Silvio with Chad as our photographer / videographer). I consider this experience one of the top highlights of my summer & I highly recommend Skydive Chicago & Baxter.

Took my son skydiving at Skydive Chicago for his 21st birthday. First jump for both of us. Staff was awesome - from the front desk to the instructors and pilot! Anthony was a fantastic instructor! In fact the entire team of instructors took great care of us with outstanding instruction. We thoroughly enjoyed our skydiving experience and would do it again because of the great instructors. We thought we would be more nervous but due in large part to the instructional team we were not. Mostly excited vs nervous. I believe the other instructions were Ginger, Baxter and Sylvio. All were tremendous and professional!

Thank you sooo much for an amazing and crazy experience!! Only the thought of jumping out of an airplane is insane but I felt save and secure in Matt T.’s hand. Skydive Chicago made sure my first dive experience was memorable. Super helpful and friendly staff during registration. My jump instructor, Baxter, was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Made sure I was prepared before and during the dive. Definitely will try and come back for another jump!!

First time skydiving 08/17/24 One of the BEST experiences of my life and I’m 57. Everyone is friendly and professional. Ginger is amazing, she was clear on what I was to do and what she was doing. I trusted her completely and she lived up to it. An amazing woman. She gets 10 stars. I highly recommend Skydive Chicago to anyone out there for an experience you’ll never forget.

Today was amazing! My son, Matt Hayes, invited me to share his passion for skydiving with the gift of a first jump. I could not have hoped for a better day! Teamed up with the conscientious pro, Ginger, I was able to experience the thrill of skydiving, while being filmed by the very artsy/magical lens of Silvio. Ginger is patient and calm, explaining and reassuring this 65 year old…who talks up a storm when she’s nervous. I felt perfectly safe in her capable hands. Of course, I knew I was in great hands as Matt gave her a big thumb’s up. And, Silvio created a fantastic video, memorializing this experience. What a wonderful tribute to 65! Always wanted to try out skydiving and came today with 3 buddies before we go off to college; absolutely incredible experience, without a doubt the coolest thing I have ever done. My instructor Ginger was wonderful and helped me make the most out of the jump!

Amazing! What an incredible experience. Loved every minute of it. The team was accommodating (we got rained out the first time we went), and super friendly. The facility is clean. I took my dog and he was able to hang out outside while we waited our turn. The training was quick and thorough. Baxter, my tandem instructor was so nice and fun. The jump was amazing! Everyone should skydive at least once. And if you do, jump at Skydive Chicago!

I had an amazing time at Skydive Chicago during my tandem jump. It was during Summerfest which I was attending. The office staff was so knowledgeable and I really appreciate they were able to get my boyfriend and I on the same plane load! Ryan was my tandem instructor and he was super awesome and put me at ease. I was very nervous but I was in great hands! Silvio the videographer did his best to get me engaged (a little distracted) but my videos came out amazing! Thank you guys so much! I had a great time and can’t wait to come back next year!

Skydive Chicago was an amazing experience thanks to Ginger. She was super sweet and made me feel so safe even at 13 thousand feet in the air. Camera man Charles was super cool too! Would definitely come back to do it again.

I skydived for the first time on 08/07/2024 and it was an experience I'll never forget. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, you can tell everybody at Skydive Chicago really cares about the sport, and takes the safety aspects very seriously. I knew I was in good hands when i walked in the door. My tandem instructor Ginger was absolutely phenomenal- offering reassurance and guidance throughout the whole plane ride and dive. She really made the whole experience for me. I will absolutely be back again someday. My group loved it so much they went twice and took me with them their second dive ;)

This was my first jump, and boy was it an amazing day. Silvio was super accommodating, informative and FUN! He made it easy to trust, and was an overall great time. I felt very safe and secure. The people on property were also all super positive and supportive. I highly recommend the staff, facilities and overall vibe of Skydive Chicago. I will definitely be back! If you are on the fence about skydiving, just do it!! You will not regret it.

I had an amazing time doing my first skydive! Baxter jumped with me and made the whole process feel safe and relaxed, which helped a lot with the nerves. Skydive Chicago is a top notch operation! This was my first jump and the entire experience was impressive. The entire staff was professional, friendly, and knowledgable. My tandem instructor Ryan Reb was amazing. He was not only a super cool dude but was extremely thorough with my training and safety. His instructions were clear and concise and our jump was spectacular. He really took the time to tailor my experience to me and answer all my questions. Although I am not a skydiver anymore I go to Summerfest every year to watch my friends and help support Skydive Chicago.I also have friends who work there as well so I love supporting when I can. I've been going for years and years and live 2 hours away. This year I went only to be turned away by a gatekeeper who wasn't letting anyone in without a wristband. I explained I can pay admission and he said no, I cant even pay admission. I explained to him that my friends were already in and I had friends who also worked there and he refused our entry and made us leave. Sadly I couldn't get ahold of my friends in a timely manner because they were jumping so we had to leave and head back home after over a 2 hour drive. So we wasted over 4 hours of the day. No notice of this change whatsoever and no care in the world for those who traveled to get there ,when most of us traveled to get there. VERY disappointed. I guess unless your giving them $ to jump you just don't matter. Not cool , Skydive Chicago. You failed to think of your loyal fans who cant jump.

This was my second time skydiving and first time at Skydive Chicago and I can say this was the best jump I've had! Shoutout my man Baxter who was my TM and Charles that helped capture the most genuine looks of excitement and thrill that came across my face during the experience. Went with a group for my first ever skydive and could not have wished for a better experience. The crew was professional, experienced and made all of us first-timers feel at ease. Special shout-out to my tandem jumper Ginger, she was incredible and made my jump an experience I'll never forget....Google only allows up to 5 stars, but I would give her an additional 5 all on her own!

I spent this past Saturday celebrating my 40th birthday with my first ever skydive. It was one of thy most memorable birthdays and life experiences. My tandem instructor Ginger did such an amazing job explaining everything to me and keeping me calm. I also went ahead and got the selfie package to capture the experience and again Ginger did not fail! I’ve watched the video countless of times and anyone that watched it also loved it! I can’t wait to jump again, hopefully I can get Ginger again. Thank you skydive Chicago for such a wonderful time!

Man, it'd been too long since I jumped out of a perfectly good airplane! Sylvio was awesome, even though it felt weird being strapped to another person for a change! Cannot recommend this place enough. I bought the package for my wife and I for our anniversary, and everything was super smooth and simple! Can't wait for our next jump already!

From online booking to landing my first tandem jump with one of the many amazing instructors, there are really no words to describe how Skydive Chicago makes an experience like this so safe, seamless, and memorable (in a good way) for a newbie like me. Matt T is an awesome instructor!!! His great communication, experience, and passion not only helped put me at ease on my first jump, but actually inspired me to go AGAIN. I’m 5’9 so if you’re reading this and sort of tall, he’s probably taller than you. Haha. Such a welcoming community of folks. I will be back.

This was my first time ever doing this & I was Scared as hell but I was abt to run out of they jus looking at the people jumping. The Instructor Mr. Silvio Lopes was crazy good he talked me into feeling good abt the jump even tho they try to keep scared you but it's all good.

I highly recommend taking your first and any subsequent jumps here at Skydive Chicago, truly an unforgettable experience for my birthday!!! *Update from a Couple hours later* I have now completed both tandem jumps and I’m going for my A license!!! My second jump was with Matt D and I could not be more grateful for the clear instruction and wonderful experience, can’t wait to get back in the skies!!! Thank you Skydive Chicago!!! I almost forgot to talk about Charles my videographer, 12000 jumps and counting he made my experience truly lived and something I will never forget!!
