I 2nd Dave's opinion on the staff. The Chinese girl didn't seem to know or care much so the cook himself came out to tell us a little story and sell us on the tasty menu. He talked me into the beast. You don't know what you're missing!

Found this gem by accident and am I glad I did. There's a reason they are the only place in the area with 5 stars and I will keep that streak going. However depending on when you go, the atmosphere seems to change drastically. The new cashier is not very friendly. There is no interaction or follow up to make sure everything is ok. As a business owner myself, I do not think employees should play on their laptop in sweatpants when tasked with being the first person a customer sees. This place is amazing! I just hope this is not a sign of things to come. 5 stars! Also "The Beast" is by far the best sandwich I have ever had.

Amazing sandwiches, not a big menu but everything looked good. I got two meals out of my sandwich. Great location for anyone near Raymond James or Icot center, Hopefully they open on weekends sometime so I can take the family.

Okay now when it comes to food especially sandwiches Burgers Italian and such we all have our favorites and our own personal favorites but as far as sandwiches are concerned Mike the owner has made it his mission in life to become the best sandwich place in town if not the world . I had been recommended to the place through a Mutual customer when I saw him order their steak and cheese the Bombardier at his bar and he couldn't say enough about it and boy was he right I was blown away! now I've ate a lot of steak and cheeses in my life, one's originally from Philly they say they make the best ? well that's not entirely true because Mike and slamwich makes the best steak and cheese He uses top quality products especially the steak ribeye cooked to Perfection little crispy on the outside moist and juicy on the inside and for a 7 inch sub he gives you 7 oz that's over a half a pound now think about it all of their sandwiches are amazing and over the top but I have yet to go back in and try another and another and another they use high-end quality ingredients most sandwiches can be shared but I would recommend getting one for yourself so you can take the other half home great atmosphere cool staff Quick Service five and a half star food don't pass this place up check it out and ask for Mike tell him Dan sent you Monja Monja!

Delicious food! The mother clucker was fantastic and the grilled cheese was nice and crunchy on the outside and perfectly melted cheese on the inside. The side of the day was mac salad and some of the best Mac salad I have had!

Decided to give this place a try because of all the good reviews and I’m so glad I did. The Balboa sandwich was one of the best cheesesteak subs I ever had. Absolutely delicious! Mike, the new owner knows good customer service.

Love it!!! The service is great. Very personal. They go above and beyond to make something everyone can enjoy. The food is good quality and the portions are BIG. I've had burgers and the dunker. Also, the fries are fresh and crunchy.

I was looking around online for somewhere to eat lunch and this place caught my eye! Upon walking into the facility it was super clean, welcoming, two TVs and a nice cashier. She recommended the Balboa which was their ribeye steak cheese steak and I was a little bit apprehensive because most people use frozen cheesesteak. However, to my surprise these were big chunky pieces of ribeye 7 full ounces mixed with all kinds of peppers and onions and it was absolutely phenomenal! The french fries are shoestring style and they are delicious! All in all, the owner was nice enough to come out introduce himself and we had a fantastic conversation. What a great place to eat lunch! On a final note, my cheesesteak did run me $18 for half the sandwich however, it was well worth it because they are actually using real ribeye and not some imitation garbage! Thank you for the experience I will 100% be back!

So we tried this place for the first time today. I was a little worried about the cost. Got the food back to the shop and was vary impressed with the quality and size. So good I will be back for sure. Great job!

Very impressed on my first visit- ordered the burger and it was great. Want to try the chicken sandwich and Rueben next time around. Each sandwich comes with chips and choice of slaw/Mac salad. The Mac salad was nice touch. Told me they are starting lunch after Labor Day.

Today we tried for the first time this amazing place... I highly recommend you stop by and give them a try, from the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. The sandwiched taste amazing. Not only did they taste great but the presentation was perfection. Slamwich will now be our favorite sandwich spot. Thank you

Awesome place! Was here last week had the special which was a pulled pork quesadilla and this time I just had the half balboa (steak sandwich) their Sandwiches are out of this world. Made fresh and delicious all the time and the customer service is awesome…

Heard about this place and decided to check it out while visiting Clearwater. I was not expecting what we got. The food was on a whole other level of good. The sandwiches are elevated with the flavors all the way down to the sauces. If we were locals I guarantee you we would be eating there several times a week. The staff was top notch service. The owner even came out to meet us and was so kind. It's been awhile since we have had a perfect experience at an establishment. We will visit this place every single time we are in town.

Good food and enthusiastic staff! I had the piggy back - thick, tender, perfectly cooked pork, lettuce, tomato and slam sauce on ciabatta bread. I had only planned on eating half because it was so filling, but I figured my hands and face were already drenched and it was SO GOOD! I ate the whole thing - and the side of the day (tangy corn salad). I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is very clean. The person attending the cashier was able to give me very solid recommendations on what was frequently being ordered and their own personal favorites. I ended up getting the mother clicker which was absolutely delicious.The picture doesn’t give this amazing sandwich justice at all. I will definitely be coming back and I highly recommend you check out this hidden gem of a restaurant.

These guys are amazing I have never had a better sandwich. The sausage and pepper sandwich that I took a picture of was incredible absolutely hands down the best sausage and pepper sandwich I've ever had. I understand why they call it slamwich because they slam on quality and taste amazing.
