The highlight of my visit was the food. I tried a variety of beef and chicken protein meals, all of which were flavorful and perfectly cooked. The beef strips were tender, and the chicken had a crispy skin without being fried. The accompanying rice and vegetables were also delicious. Last Saturday, I decided enough was enough and I needed to get my life together. I googled meal service reviews and Smart Meals came up with good reviews. When I entered the store, I was met by two wonderful people that helped me navigate the store. I bought meals for the week and it cost less than 80 for 4 days worth of meals. I am on day 4 and when I tell you EVERY meal has been superb, it’s true! This is my new go to for week day work meals! It’s too easy and affordable! In 2 minutes you can get a meal that’s delicious and portion controlled! I’m in love!

I stopped by Smart Meals and let me say these people are so kind and generous. Their menu is large and very complex. They have a smorgasbord of food. No way a person could get tired of this menu. They have a lot of the foods I enjoy so I joined today.

I go to Smart Meals once per month to pick up frozen meals for my office lunch. I peel the sticker off the meal container and stick it in my calendar so I can show my nutritionist what I consume for lunch every day at work and what I eat for a snack in the afternoon. The meals are well seasoned, the exact portion of protein and starch I need for my lunch and afternoon snack, they heat well in the microwave and I wash the container and reuse it. The staff inside Smart Meals is very friendly and helpful. I like the diversity of the recipes and different lean proteins used. I see fat loss when I eat Smart Meals instead of going out for lunch at work.

I have tried many meal prep companies and this is the best. Fresh and Delicious!!

Meals are delicious and there is a great variety to choose from. Makes it easy to hit macros (it is amazing how much protein some of them have). I like that if you pre order you can choose if you want carb side or veggie/low carb side. My favorites are the Burkey Burgers, Thai Basil Chicken over Jasmine Rice, Ginger Beef and Broccoli, and Buffalo Chicken.

These meals are amazing! If you want to get lean and still have your favorite foods that taste awesome RUN to smart meals! Have not had one bad meal!!! It is so nice and convenient too!

My absolute favorite pre portioned and pre packaged meals. I’ve tried many of the other local stores and even some online like Factor. The flavor is amazing and almost all of the meals are less than 20% fat with all other nutrition info on package. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Pre order when you can to make sure your favorites are in stock! I also love that they are always adding new things to the menu and offer loyalty points.

Smart Meals is a terrific provider of nutritious, delicious and fresh food. The food product is consistently great. The meals contain very little (if any) sugar and the calories from fat percentage ( which is stated on every container) for nearly all meals is under 20%, and is often much lower. The meals are microwaveable and ready to eat. The service at their retail outlet on Wilcrest is outstanding, but they also deliver. The people there are friendly and they clearly care about their clientele. They pay careful attention to “eat by” dates and are able to prepare specially made meals. Since beginning to purchase food from Smart Meals my body fat percentage has dropped significantly and my lean body mass has improved. I highly recommend Smart Meals to anyone who wants to better your health and increase your energy.

OK, first of all every time I come here the staff is so amazing. Everyone is happy and helpful. The meals are always delicious. The variety of choices they have is one of the best I've seen. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner today, and she was just as amazing as everyone else. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who was looking for a place to get meals that are not only tasty but at a great price. I'm super excited to also learn they have an in-house nutritionist that you can work with to help you get to your goals.

I have passed by this location often. I finally stopped in today after exploring their website. They had a wide selection of meals all labeled with nutritional information. Many of the meals are available in a small and large size depending on your nutritional needs/goals. The staff was very friendly and helpful, making sure I knew how they operated and the best times to shop in store. I happened in when they were restocking so the shelves were full. You can also order ahead for pickup or delivery. I bought several meals. I already enjoyed two today and both were excellent. I will be returning often.

First time trying smart meals, and I have to say that it did NOT disappoint at all! I was confused at the beginning when I went into the place because I thought it was a regular restaurant, but the staff made me feel comfortable and explained to me what kind of food service they provide. Maria was super helpful and nice. I got the gingered beef with Jasmin rice, and I loved it! Will come back for sure :)

Made my 1st visit to get a feel of the environment and the meals. Everyone was very friendly & informative. Purchased 10 meals to check the flavor & variety that I could choose from. Everything so far is delicious!! There is not a mandatory sign up plan, which I love. I can either pick up my meals or have them delivered. Plus the price is a little cheaper compared to what I spend eating out. So far this is working for me!!

One of the best meal prep kitchens in the Houston area. Smart Meals clearly labels macros on all their food and they are not afraid to use seasoning on their food! Price varies per small or large size of meal but you get a lot of food for what you pay in my opinion. You can buy meals individually on a daily basis but they also give you the option to preorder online and deliver for pickup to places throughout the city if the drive is too far. Highly recommend if you don’t have the time to meal prep or if you just want a healthy meal. Try the blueberry protein muffins!

I have been eating Smart Meals for so many years that I cannot recall how many years—at least eight years. Sharon is extremely honorable in everything she does. Her food is delicious, and her customer service is so "good"— I hesitate to tell you; I hope she keeps it up. I appreciate her delivery options too. I used to buy a month's worth of food, but now, I enjoy only a week or so at a time. Fresh is better but frozen for a week or so is still awesome. I am sure she will provide you with healthy, tasty food you can afford.

I've been ordering lunch and dinner through them in order to control my weight and they have a good amount of low carb options. After trying other meal prep services in the past, nothing else comes close to the variety, taste, price, and availability. You can either order online or choose your meals in-store. I have surprisingly not gotten tired of the food yet after close to a year of ordering their meals. My favorite meal (and they know this since I order 3+ of them each week) is the king ranch casserole since it is filling, high in protein, and yet is somehow low in calories. So if you're in the market for a meal prep service and live in the area, give them a shot. You won't regret it.
