It was my first time having Detroit style pizza, and I was blown away. I went with my son, who lives in Kissimmee. I wish they would consider putting one here in Ocala. I would be there often! Next time I go south to see my son, I'm going back!

This pizza is amazing. It’s like pan but not thick and doughy. The crust is so crisp kind of reminds me of a grilled cheese sandwich.

We visited SoDough Square recently on Michigan Street. We heard from a friend how great their Detroit Rob City pizza was so we wanted to find out for ourselves. When we came in, we were greeted and welcomed to the establishment by Juanita who is the manager. She was friendly and courteous to assist us with our order on the kiosk. We knew what we wanted so we told her and she put in the order for our pizza and drinks. We opted for the large size in case the small might not be enough. We went to the adjoining dining room in the Tin Taco establishment, as we waited for our order. A worker named Dominic brought out or pizza on a cooling rack and we were impressed how delicious it looked. He asked if we needed anything else and if we did later on, then to let him know and he'd accommodate us. We didn't hesitate to try the pizza and we were instantly satisfied. The crispy, airy and light crust of the Detroit style caught our attention. The whipped ricotta cheese and hot honey was a nice touch, along with the melted cheese on the crust added some good flavor. Every bite was so damn good! Juanita came by to ask how the pizza was and if we needed anything else. She also recommended some other pizzas that are popular, such as the enforcer and chicken bacon ranch. We let her know how great the pizza was and the service. What's better than great food and great service right? When we left, all the staff said good night and hope to see us again. We look forward to going back to try the enforcer. Highly recommend for great pizza!

The best Detroit style pizza I’ve had in Orlando. I thought it had a bit too much sauce but you have them adjust that with your order.

First time eating here. It’s a pizza joint and a taco place together. The tacos were tasty however the pizza was amazing. We had the taco pizza and highly recommend it. Very delicious. The dough is fluffy and the sauce is perfect. Such a good pizza.

Fantastic pizza. The service was also great. I ordered online and picked it up. It was ready at the time quoted and was one of the best Detroit style pizza I have ever had. Will definitely be back everytime I'm in Orlando.

Had the taco pizza. Delicious! It's big enough to split. Counter service. The night we were in the place was full! They're doing great business and putting out a great product. The parking lot is small (because it's an older building on Michigan). They share a space with Tin and Taco, which is also delicious. Well worth stopping in. We will definitely be back and check out the other location.

THE BEST PIZZA IN A LONG TIME HANDS DOWN! Since moving to Orlando from Chicago we haven’t had the opportunity to find really really good pizza until visiting SoDoughSquare tonight !!!! So freakin good! We had the Detroit Rob City Pizza, Honey Garlic Rub wings and Garlic Parm wings. PERFECTION! We had the pleasure of working with Dom and he was the sweetest and kindest employee, helping us with the menu and talking with our kids, while recommending his favorite items. He wanted to make sure everything was perfect for us and honestly it was! Thank you for a stress free dining experience with our kids after a long week Dom :) Location 419 Michigan St Orlando Fl

Missing toppings I requested via Uber eat. Doesn’t taste much either.

This has to be one of the most frustrating places. I had the privilege to eat carry out pizza from here with some friends about two months ago. In the last two months, I have attempted to order from this location on five different occasions via their online website. Each time I am met with errors, “there’s a problem placing your order” This final time I called to see if it would be possible to order over the phone since their website is consistently down,reloads, or gives you an error message. I was informed “we don’t really do over the phone but I guess you could try uber.” My unprocessed order total was $96.78 on their website. Reluctantly, I went to Uber to order the exact same order. Of course the prices are much different on Uber. For the exact same order it came out to $111.38. THAT IS RIDICULOUS! I will not be ordering from this location ever again.

They have really good pizza. What can I say. I come here a lot, to get the pizza. My biggest complaint though is that they don’t have a soda fountain or any way to get refillable drinks while eating there. But the pizzas is so good. I’ll still give it a five star. Life hack: This place has a shared cafeteria with Tin and Taco, and they have a soda fountain. I usually get a pizza from Soto and then get my refillable soda from Tin and taco.

Great pizza that I had sought out before travelling to Orlando and came straight from the airport to visit. Dominic served me and seemed surprised I'd come from England and straight there. The craft beer choice was also excellent.

What in the world and where has this place been all my life? First, shout out to Dom and I didn’t get the name of the sweet lady that helped me order, but they were both very nice and went through the menu with us. The BEST cheesy garlic bread! We ordered some to take home! That good! We had the BBQ Chicken pizza, the Enforcer and the PBJ (pineapple, bacon, jalapeño). Every pizza was SO GOOD! This is THE place for pizza! ♥️

The pizza and service at SoDough Square were truly exceptional. The chicken bacon ranch pizza was cooked to perfection, with a deliciously crisp crust. A large pizza was more than enough for three people to share. The staff was remarkably helpful and accommodating. We look forward to returning soon.

Placed an $85 order on Uber Eats for a pizza, hot dog and a salad. When we received the food it was not even a little bit warm, but cold pizza. The driver arrived and didn't have the salad and I asked about it and she just told me to contact Uber Eats or the restaurant. In full disclosure, I had to fight with Uber Eats to get refunded for the salad that didn't arrive, which should have been easily verifiable by a quick call to the restaurant. I left a review on Uber Eats expressing my displeasure with the food/order and was contacted by the restaurant asking for more details and to give them another chance, so I emailed them. I got an email back with an apology, but nothing to correct the issue... That I had wasted $85 on missing and cold food. Maybe their pizza is really good at the store when it's hot out of the oven, but I won't be finding out! SoDough contracted with Uber Eats. Uber Eats has a responsibility to their customers to get food hot, but the store that decided to use them also has a responsibility to make sure it's right. This one wasn't right and the store had no interest in making it right unfortunately.

As always, never let you down. Best pizza in Orlando. If you been around a long time, Noble Roman's was really good. This stuff is great. Had surgery today and told the wife we are stopping at Sodoughs on the way home. Had the greek one, and it was really good. I had the opportunity to speak with the owner when they first opened and enjoyed listening to the prep work. I think one of the most important thing for restaurant success is consistently serving quality food, and this place is doing it.

Food was ok, never had Detroit style pizza, too much dough for me. I’m still more of a fan on NY style. Service was sub par. They don’t take phone orders so I had to download Uber eats just to try it. Food was better than the experience. Overall not for me.

Awesome pizza, you can tell there's a lot of TLC baked into each pizza. Hands down my favorite crust, now that I've had several. I'm a crust man to the core. It's that magical baked in cheese that sticks a teast nerve with perfection and mashes that happy button for me. It's definitely not your typical pizza but you gotta try it. You won't be sorry.

Omg this was some of the best pizza I have ever tried!! The staff was so nice and knowledgeable. I went to the Winter Park location the first time they were so nice and knowledgeable. It was so good I went to the other location the next day and ordered without the ricotta. Both were so good I wish I could bring it here to Louisiana. 10/10/10!!! Go try it now!!! Okay I will be back next year.

I've been wanting to try the pizza here for a while and they opened up a combo location in Lake mary so I decided to stop in. I believe it was my first time having Detroit style pizza and I thought it was pretty good. I ordered the 6 & Conant which has more cheese than sauce really and if I could do things over I would probably choose a pizza with a little more sauce. Overall my mind wasn't blown and it wasn't the best pizza I've ever had but it was a decent pizza and it was filling for a size small. I definitely can't say a size small would be as filling at any of the other pizza places I've gone to.

I went in to pick up my online order today and it was about to rain so I had my daughter in her car seat that I was carrying. When my order was ready (before it was scheduled to be) Dom immediately offered to take my pizzas out to my car for me. It’s the little things that help the most, especially as a mom. Not only is there great pizza but everyone who works there has always been so amazing and helpful.

DEFINITELY in my top 5 of pizza in the city! It's Detroit style where the crust is thicker but the toppings are on top, not tucked away like a deep dish. And please get the honey that goes on the crust or swirl it on the toppings! Omg.. I get the Supreme and you can only eat 2 slices in a sitting! It also has those cupped pepperonis, yum. Must eat!

UGH! This place has ruined pizza for me, yep - it was THAT good! Hands down the best pizza the 4 of us have ever had. So good we told my brother and his family about it, texted them pictures, and they went the next day and said the same exact thing (except they went to the Winter Park location). We ended up eating here 2 nights out of our 5 night stay in Orlando. Get the cheesy bread!!!! Two years ago I went to Detroit and went to the original restaurant for pizza and this beat it. The dough was lighter and crispier and the toppings tasted fresher. Can't wait to go back.

Awesome pizza, great Detroit Coney dogs. Crust is fantastic. We visited twice in our 5-day visit, and we'll be back. The tacos at Tin Tacos in the same building look tasty as well, but we were all about the pizza & cheesy garlic bread. Try them, you won't be disappointed!!

Really good pizza, you can customize your own pizza or get a favorite. They also have hotdogs, but I didn't try those. Thry share a common sitting space with Tin & Taco. They have a digital screen where you have to place and pay for your order.

I ordered from Uber Eats. This pizza was absolutely beyond delicious. It was soft, but with crispy edges and the crunch to it is wild… so good. The cheese was cheesing and stretched out. The smell of garlic made my mouth water before even taking my first heavenly bite. I will definitely be reordering and have found my new pizza joint! If you want Detroit style pizza, do not hesitate to choose this place. The pizza is incredible! It’s such a fluffy consistency with those crispy cheese edges. I love that you can customize a small one however you’d like. We tried the BBQ pizza and tried a simple one with beef. I love the fried chicken chunks on the bbq! They’re moist and flavorful, the sauce base for the pizza was some sort of golden bbq sauce that was so delicious! We tried a hot dog as well which was simply amazing! I can’t wait to come back! This place is connected to a taco spot so they share a dining room with plenty of seating.

They have a shared dining room with Tin & Taco. The pizza was really good, thick Detroit style pan pizza, square slices, that are very filling. You can tell that quality ingredients are used.

The food is excellent. That one big girl with the pink beats headphones NEEDS to work on her customer service. If you don't like your job just QUIT. Find something else that ain't it

Everything was sticky. As in, when I put my hand on the table it sounded like Velcro being torn apart. The pizza was crispy, but had too much cheese on it for the crust to support its weight. They bring it out on a cooling rack, so the cheese oozes into the cooling rack grates, then when you try to get a piece off it kind of oozes down under the rack. It was okay, but there wasn’t a very strong sourdough flavor. I would try it again but I think it could use some improvement. Also, I don’t understand why there is a tip screen at the counter when you place your order at a kiosk and bus your own table.

Was advise by many that this place had the best Detroit pizza in orlando. I have never been to Detroit so i cant verify that. But i can say that this was amazing pizza. It is different than what i have tasted before. The small was big enough that i ate from it for a couple of days. As well as the large lasted a few days for the rest of the family. I would highly recommend this spot. They also share a space with tin n taco which is great if you want a little bit of this and that.

Delicious pizza with a tasty crunchy crust!

I ordered this on Uber eats. But it was as if it was delivered to me tableside. It was aesthetically pleasing and delicious for delivery! I added extra cheese and garlic. I saw it and I saw the reviews were positive. I'm glad I ordered from them.

Came here for lunch after seeing this place for over a year. So I entered and saw on of my students parents in the front behind the table and then I decided to order off the machine. I truly just selected the first thing that hit my eye, and then I was familiar with. If not the case, then I would've selected something else. However, I can say that the pizza was quite delicious. And the staff on board seem pretty nice as well. I'm gonna have to get used to Detroit style Pizza, however, I can't lie. It was pretty good.

Ordered the Detroit Rob City Pizza and BBQ Chicken Pizza, and was extremely satisfied with the slices! The pizza comes in a square, and if you order a small, you'll receive 4 slices. The good: The Detroit Rob City Pizza was hands down the best one I've tried here, and would definitely order it again! The pizza dough was fluffy and the toppings were phenomenal. The BBQ Chicken Pizza was great as well, and it was a bit on the sweeter side, so if sweet is not your thing, then definitely go with the Detroit Rob City Pizza. Overall, if you love Detroit Style Pizza, you won't be disappointed!

The food was great! I thought they had something for everyone’s taste and they definitely delivered! I even followed up with a beer from Tin and Taco. I was also pleasantly surprised that they share the dining area with Tin and Taco as well! The pizza was delicious and I’d highly recommend going there if you’re in the mood for Detroit style pizza. I don’t understand the hype about this place. The crust was good. The center dough was wet and soggy. I could barely taste the marinara sauce. Fresh veggies were good. I make better pizza at home. This was overpriced. Won’t return or recommend.

The service is very good. The pizza is certainly tasty but consistently lacking sauce and very dry. This has been the case with every order so far. It's mostly crust and cheese and barely any sauce.

I rarely eat pizza, but when I do I want it to be worth the carbs! This Chicago style pizza place is on point! The crust is delicious and the pizza is always consistently good. If you want a thin New York style slice of pizza, this place ain't for you. If you want a big thick slice of delicious Chicago style pizza that won't disappoint, then it is! Reminds me of how Pizza Hut used to be 25 years ago when it was actually good. Keep it up!

Not one to give many negative reviews, especially on Uber eat orders, but what a disappointment. This review wouldn't have been the first, as I had stopped there previously... But let's talk about that experience a few months back. 8:57pm, half way through pressing buttons on my order and ready to pay, a guy comes from the back and says "we are closed". Now, there was no sign on the establishment so I didn't know they closed at 9pm. But they do. And despite them allowing me to come in, press buttons on my order, and almost about to pay (with other pizzas being made at the time), they bluntly declined my service. Fast forward to today. I'm a fair guy, my reviews can safely vindicate that, and I wanted to give them a try. Well, you place an order and, wouldn't you be surprised, there is no notes section. I just wanted to ensure my extra cheese was extra Mozzarella, not extra ricotta. Not a terrible request since I'm paying for it. So I call them, ... Oh but wait, THEY DON'T ACCEPT CALLS. I had no way to verify my order was correctly received. Send them a message and they will get back to you in 48 hours. Not only this but I paid $35 plus tip and got a cold pizza and cold cheesy bread (I'll blame Uber for that). In the end, the pizza was decent, the cheesy bread was not that special and if you order, pay the 2 dollars for extra sauce because they only give you a 1.5 ounce cup of marinara. Am I disappointed, yes. Will I order from there again, idk maybe. But your customer service is horrendous and the pizza isn't worth these minor annoyances.

This business does not accept cash. In addition to being incredibly inconvenient it is bold faced discrimination against every unbanked person in the city. I drove 45 minutes and left my card at home. This policy can NOT be found on their website or any social media platforms! Luckily the other pizza shop across the parking lot has amazing pizza and takes cash like a regular restaurant.

I never heard of Detroit style pizza until a month ago. Then I started researching if there were any places in Orlando to try it and this place popped up. Personally, I’m not a fan of Chicago style pizza so was a little skeptical at first. However, yes this is different. I ended up ordering the boblo island blues. I loved this pizza. The best way I can explain it is to someone that’s never tried Detroit style pizza is Pizza Hut deep dish but 10 times better. I highly recommend to give this place a try

Pizza was really good!!! Definitely exactly like it’s supposed to be, light fluffy crust with a serious crisp. Cheese was great, sauce was perfect!!! Only issue was that the bathroom was dirty and needed cleaned. Also the tables could have used a good wipe down, it was lunch time so I’m sure that why. But overall great experience and we’ll be back to try more pizza!!!

You be the judge...is one 2.5" x 3" piece of pizza (see picture) worth $5.05? BBQ Chicken pizza---as the name implies it's supposed to have chicken. You could fit onto a tablespoon the sparce amount of chicken that was on the small pie I ordered. The website gives off the impression its a mom and pop establishment. That's the furthest thing from the truth.

SoDough Square in Orlando is a delightful discovery, especially if you're new to the world of Detroit-style pizza. Personally, my previous experiences were limited to Little Caesars and Jets, but SoDough Square was a worthy upgrade that truly stands out. I opted for the Detroit Rob City, and my friend went with the Enforcer. Between the two, the Detroit Rob City was my personal favorite, and I wouldn't hesitate to order it again. While the pizza was the star, the drink selection didn't match the food's quality. If you plan on dining in, I'd recommend grabbing your drinks at Tin & Taco, where the seating area is located. If the prices seem a bit on the higher side, remember that their small pizzas are deceptively filling and can easily satisfy two people. Also, expect the wait time for your pizza to be 15-20 minutes. But all in all, SoDough Square is a great addition to the SoDo district and a delicious way to explore the unique flavors of Detroit-style pizza in Orlando. So if you're in the area and looking for a delightful pizza experience, SoDough Square is definitely worth a visit.

Since this place opened, it has gotten a lot of hype. I'm sure Detroit style pizza existed in Orlando before SoDough, but this place really got it on a Lot of people's radars. And the name, SoDough in SoDo, it literally perfect. Along with just how photogenic the pizzas are, the hype writes itself. So I show up here one day with some friends for a nice Saturday lunch. We get here, plenty of parking, enter, and start to browse the menu. One small downside was that you don't get to order with a person. They have out sourced that to some stupid screens, but hey, cost-effectiveness, I guess. Looking at the menu, there are a perfect amount of pre-made specialty pizzas. Not too many, but the ones they have are varied. Everyone can find something they like. I with the build-your-own had more options, but they have the basics. Can't complain. I chose the small Boblo Island Blues (Garlic parmesan sauce, brick cheese blend, blue cheese crumbles, diced chicken tenders, ranch drizzle, buffalo drizzle, green onion). This thing was wonderful. So much flavor can be packed into this thing with just a few, simple toppings. Garlic from the sauce, that cheese that turns into the Perfect crust, a-la Detroit, good amount of chicken, and then the dueling drizzles that heat it all up and cool is all down, simultaneously. Add in that green onion for a pop of freshness, and you have a great pizza pie. I also got the sample the Detroit Rob City (Detroit red sauce, pinched sausage, ezzo cup pepperoni, whipped ricotta, hot honey, fresh basil). This thing was even better than the pizza I got. My goodness. The combination of all those toppings with the hot honey just yelling at you so beautifully with every bite with that creamy ricotta, just perfect. I actually got to try another pizza, but I won't go to much into that. The point is that the small pizzas are cut into four decent sized slices and are perfect for sharing. If you have enough friends, you can have four different slices, AKA a flight, which is optimal, I think. So yea, overall, this place deserves all of its hype. It really is the bee's knees. The crust was crispy and chewy and delicious, the toppings were plentiful and of a high quality, and the portions were perfect. I'll be back, probably many times, before the end of all things.

We did the Eastern Market this time out and ordered it with pepperoni. Absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. SoDough is at the top of my premium pizza dining choices.
