The food is very good, the service is not so good, they charge you the tip without asking. So if 6 people go, you end up paying for 8 or 9. It's an abuse.

I recommend Jalea, seafood fried rice, ceviche, and steak noodles.

We had our first experience tonight at Sol Inka, the food was delicious and the service was prompt and friendly. Can't wait to return!

The meat chaufa 10/10 almost didn't even make me miss the aviation chaufas. The girl who serves is from Costa Rica, very friendly and attentive. Finally, I would say that the chaufa is more chifa chaufa than Creole, which makes it even better ❤️❤️🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪 The chicha is also good! Clean and spacious environment, full salsa on the speakers, they give you complimentary freshly baked rolls

Absolute perfection. 💯 10 out of 10. We ended up here because the Cuban restaurant I wanted to go to was closed. So glad that happened. I'm not sure what restaurant used to be here. But it's very spacious inside. The service is spectacular. Our waitress was very attentive. She gave recommendations, even samples when I struggled to make up my mind about what drink to order. I forgot the name of the red drink but it was absolutely delicious. It's a cross between sorrel and jamaica. I ordered the pescado saltado. My friend ordered the pollo saltado, and other ordered the chaufa with shrimp. The portions are huge. I came hungry, ate half my food and felt full. When I put my leftovers in a dinner plate the next day, it filled the plate. That's how huge the portions are. Everyone enjoyed their meals immensely. It's super affordable. I can't wait to return.

Ceviche was the worst I've ever!!! Service is awesome and the atmosphere is good. BUT the Ceviche is super salty!!! I'm just rating the Ceviche, I don't know how the rest of the food is. Waitress is phenomenal she took it back without hesitation but it came back even saltier.. FYI Peruvian Ceviche has never came with celery, didn't help the flavor.

I had the Soltero de Pollo plate. It comes with chicken, french fries, onions, fried tomatoes and white rice. It was delicious! The cost was around $20.00 which was very reasonable considering all the food. You have to try this place...

I'd actually give this place 4.5 stars. Close to being 5, but I had other entrees that has a bit more flavor.

My wife and I really enjoy eating at this Peruvian food place. They offer a wide variety of authentic Peruvian dishes and service provided by the waitresses has always been attentive and good.

Ordered takeout for my kids, we got the chicken fried rice and when we got home the dish was very very greasy! Couldn't even taste the flavors from the actual fried rice. It was bad.

Sol Inka is the place to come if your looking for Authentic Peruvian food. Lomo Saltado was delicious, shirmp ceviche was outstanding.👌🏽

The beef noodles were superb and all the beef was very tender and juicy. I will definitely be back her again.

Walked in and the host treated us like garbage. She sat the 2 latino families that came after us. I then proceeded to speak in fluent Spanish and her attitude changed. We walked out.

The food is well prepared, service is adequate but not robust. Atmosphere is welcoming but does emphasize Peruvian culture. The philosophy is to let the gastronomy speak for itself which it does. The meals are filling and prices on the higher end of area restaurants.

Our first time here, and it may very well be our last. They brought my wife's dish out, and said mine would be just a few more minutes. At least 10 minutes later, my wife was halfway through her meal, and I still hadn't received mine. A few minutes after that, someone brought a dish that looked like mine, to the next table, who had ordered *after* us. After several more minutes, the server brought another dish to the next table, to find that my meal had been given to them. They were apologetic, and offeeed something else, but that wouldn't have fixed the issue - my wife was mostly done with her meal, I wasn't going to wait for however long it would take for them to start a fresh order. At least they comped my wife's meal.

Great lunch specials for the price, will be greater if the white rice served with the lunch specials, were hot.

Everything is delicious, the food is great, the service is recommended, but the bathrooms have a bad smell that comes out of them, but if it weren't like that, it would get 5 stars in everything. I hope they repair their bathrooms.

The food here never misses! It’s SO good and tastes authentic. This has been my go-to spot for years. Portions are pretty big too.

Food is salty and not seasoned well. Service’s is horrible and don’t inform you that they automatically tip themselves 18% at least. When asked about this the lady was rude.

Love this Peruvian restaurant flavors are there portions are good size, good parking, cold beer from Peru. The noodles with beef, and just about everything has the Peruvian touch to it.

We've been coming here since it was Mario's Peruvian. The food remains the same- great! Their Lomo Saltado is always made with freshly cut potatoes, setting it apart from other places that skip corners by using frozen fries. Go for the lunch specials, and you won't be disappointed!

In the past the service was really good, BUT it seems that they have changed the staff... the lady who served us today at lunch should be friendlier, she doesn't understand English and is a bit rude when speaking.

Muy decepcionada de este restaurant cobran como ricos y sirven como pobres exajerado los precios pedi un tallarin saltado de camarones y solo 5 camaroncitos en medio kilo de tallarin tenia que buscarlos con lupa🔎 y ordene un bistec a lo pobre y me dieron una carne Seca delgadita como hostia con bananas quemadas y puras papas fritas quemadas todo la comida horrible una estafa y lo peor de todo me COBRARON EN MI RECIBO $25 DE PROPINA OBLIGATORIO LA mesera desatenta una chica de lentes chaparrita y medio gordita era cajera y mesera con cara de amargada nos atendia un robo olimpico no vayan no lo recomiendo!! Cada vez estan mas ridiculos y mezquinos los restaurantes peruanos

It may be an unfair comparison, I measure Peruvian food against my favorite Peruvian restaurant (El Pollo Inka) this was similar but different as far as cost to value. I had the Saltaldo de Mariscos (My favorite dish at the other restaurant) here it is far less seafood and a lot more soggy fries. I would still eat here again, but probably not this dish. One area where this did beat the other restaurant is the green (cilantro) sauce, way more spicy but delicious.

The food came out hot. Got a seafood dish and seafood was slightly over which made it chewy. Waitress was attentive and very nice.

Did have to wait a while to be seated but once seated everything was on point

August 18-2023. To go lunch for 12.99 Saltado de pescado…..The worst food as a Peruvian I have eating. Should be called saltado de papas fritas with a spoon of rice. And greasy. Not even at the worst restaurants in Peru you get such a dish with a few través of sawi fish (3.99/lb) they give a bad mame to Peruvian food.

Usually the service is good except for today. Marlene was rude when we asked what the hold up was and told us to leave if we did not want to wait to be seated. Have never been treated so disrespectful. There would not b a business without customers.

Place was clean and well kept. Plenty of parking. Over all food was good. Had the Lomo Saltado... It was good but a little bit too salty. Atmosphere was nice.

El lugar es muy bonito y agradable, la atención de la mesera también fue muy buena, pero tengan cuidado al momento de pagar, te cobran lo que ellos quieren de propina, me descontaron más Plata de mi tarjeta de la que yo había autorizado. Me parece terrible que hagan algo así, dañan todo lo que había sido bueno.

I ordered a 7 mares , they brought me just mariscos in water , no flavor at all, they took it back , without any apology. They brought back just with a little of flavor, bad service.

Never had a bad experience there, the service is always great and so is the food. This last time I went my fiancé planned my birthday dinner and the staff was awesome. Even helping him surprise me with his proposal.

The best Peruvian food I've had. All their food is delicious, the lomo saltado and tallarines saltado de carne is my favorite. The chicharron de pollo and chicharron de calamara are tasty appetizers and the dipping sauce has a good citrus flavor. On Sunday's, there is a man that plays traditional Peruvian music.

El lugar es bonito pero la comida no es nada parecida a la comida peruana, ya que ningún cocinero es peruano son de otra nacionalidades y según la mesera que nos atendió solo siguen la receta. Solo por el lugar le doy una estrella Pedimos ceviche de pescado sabía a limón artificial , el picante de marisco era un entomatado de mariscos, la papa a la huancaina era solo cúrcuma . Nada recomendable, no volvería a este lugar cero estrellas por la comida .

Really good. The green sauce was a little too spicy for me but all the flavors were great. @ $20 a plate getting close to my limit.

Their food used to be really good here, but since they changed the restaurant's name ( Mario's now sol Inka), their food doesn't taste the same. I'm a fan of Peruvian food, but unfortunately, I don't recommend this place.

Food is very good here, however the live music was extremely loud and it felt like I was having dinner in a club. I had to yell to have a conversation with the person next to me. Worse, the music wasn't even good. For some reason the musician made extensive use of a whistle (like the ones a referee uses) which he would blow into the microphone making a very loud shrill noise constantly.

The calamari was fried to the perfection but had some weird after taste to it. The other plate on the other hand, was quite good and wish they had given us more rice so we can mix it in the sauce , lol.

Food is tasty, but when we ordered seafood, there were more fries in it than seafood. Also, the rice was undercooked. A little improvement in these dishes can make this restaurant a great one. Looking forward to it when they do.

My first time there with friends who have been there before. The staff was great, attentive and friendly. Food was ok, my steak was very dry,fries were soggy,I had the Bistec Apanado,should have gotten the rice with my meal. Wife got the Tallarines Salgado de Carne, looked like spaghetti with meat and vegetables, she was not too impressed. I have to be honest, I have never had Peruvian food so not sure how it should be, but I will try some other places to compare to be fair. Prices were not that bad and again a very friendly staff.

Fish dish was good (although What I got was battered and fried it tasted good, not oily) The seafood salad was also quite good, maybe a tad more sour than I would have liked, but squid was soft and fresh so were the veggies that were also crisp. Would definitely go back. The bread buns and butter at the start were nice, although perhaps it's more a British thing than a Peruvian touch. I guess serving sweet grilled corn on the cob would have been much more expensive in comparison :) Service was professional and efficient, atmosphere was ok for lunch. Feels a bit like a high end diner. Important note to the managers owner: Men's bathroom looked clean, but floor was a bit on the sticky/greasy side and didn't feel as clean as the rest (sinks and toilets). Sadly there was a very bad smell throughout the toilet area which somehow (and fortunately) remained confined there and didn't spill into the dining zone. Not sure where it came from. Also the soap smelled quite bad but in a different sense... After I washed my hands they didn't smell fresh or clean, but rather like I have been handling something made out of plastic or rubber (like a car tire) leaving an odd chemical odor on my hands... I highly suggest to the owner to get to the bottom of where that smell in the toilet is coming from so it can be eliminated because it really ruins the whole experience. Also change hand soap to something smelling neutral and clean and please have the floor cleaned so it won't feel sticky or greasy under people's shoes.

Nice large spot for Peruvian food. The wait staff was attentive and nice. They serve complementary bread rolls which are super delicious. I had the purple drink called chicha morada, which is primarily made of corn. It's super delicious and a little on the sweet side. Definitely did not expect that flavor. I believe it also cooked with pineapple rinds to give it that tangy sweetness. To eat I had the bistec a lo pobre. The planatos were a bit green for my preference, as I'm used to eating them really mature to bring out the sweetness. The fries were kinda plain and unsalted and not crispy at all. They were soggyish, but I probably blame that on the steak smothering them. The steak was seared well, and the flavor was good. The eggs, well they were eggs. Overall, I'd return. I'd just ask for the fries to be salted and not placed under the steak.

Great food, almost every dish is delicious. Very generous protein portions. Does take a while for food to come out because they cook everything fresh, so some patience is needed. Place does need a bit of updating. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone!
