The iced coffee was amazing!!!!

I love this place!! The drinks are always perfect, the sweet treats are dangerously good, and the staff are so friendly. My son loves coming in with me to say hi to everyone. Best coffee shop near us!

Love this coffee shop! My husband and I recently moved here and we come here every weekend! We love the change of coffee choices every month and food options are different everyday!

Something’s Brewing is hands down my favorite local coffee shop. First, I love supporting small businesses, especially Veteran Owned small business. They have a variety of in-house roasts available daily AND every month they have ~six named specialty drinks. You can also buy any of their roasts in ground or whole bean form. My favorite is Royalty Blend. It is also a gathering place for small groups, especially Veterans. I always feel like Norm from Cheers when I walk in and see them at the table. If you’re going in for the coffee or the community, you’ll be glad you did.

I love this coffee shop! Very friendly staff and the coffee is so good! I love the coffee ice option, I’ve never seen that anywhere else! I will definitely be getting coffee from here every time I’m in this area! :)

Stopped in today for the first time. I feel like I’ll be here pretty often. The service was great, patient and friendly to a newcomer who was a little slower at deciding because of the great options. Bourbon caramel iced coffee with coffee ice, new level of caffeinated nirvana unlocked. Atmosphere is cozy and I would def go back to enjoy a good book and my coffee.

Stopped on our road trip and this place gave us the pick me up we needed! The quiche was phenomenal, the coffee with coffee ice cubes amazing and the kids loved the cake pops, muffins and rice crispy treat! We will definitely stop again when out this way!

My little home away from home! We moved to the area at the beginning of the year and I was searching for a local coffee shop. This one happens to be just down the road and I love them! Great coffee. They change a specials menu each month, have different breakfast items and sweets daily, amazing staff, cute “home” feel to the place. I’ll be a regular until I move out of Raeford that’s fasho! (PS Dan is my fav face to see each time hehe!! <3 )

Everybody there is wonderful and they are not afraid to give my husband a hard time in a good way since he gives them a hard time too. But it puts a smile on everybody's face. My husband is there before work and when I get home from work . Thanks for the best coffee and being close to my house.

This is a great little shop. I highly recommend checking it out. Just keep in mind they close at 4 pm.

Super super awesome. Their hot and cold drinks are the bomb, my wife gets something most every single day. The espresso and coffee doesn't taste burnt like it does from Starbucks. All their pastries and food products are freshly made each day and is super super tasty.

One of the best service experiences I’ve had in a coffee shop in quite some time. Very friendly and helpful young man at the counter, provided an excellent coffee as well as the fact that I left with a smile on my face. Keep up the good service. Also, a very fair price for a good cup of coffee.

I don't have a picture at this time, but it's a nice coffee shop with various types of seating. I was in line, and 2 of the people in front of me were regulars as the barrista knew their names and asked if they wanted the usual! That's cool. Something to be said for freshly brewed coffee. They can make all types of drinks, I just go for regular coffee. They typically have a breakfast type sandwich. I've had 2 different kinds so far, and they were good. Also had a different take on a cheesecake pastry. It was amazing, get it!

I hate writing bad reviews but I honestly don’t want anyone else who likes good tasting coffee to waste their money. I visited yesterday & ordered an iced hazelnut/caramel latte with oatmilk. The lady working helped me decide and was patient when I couldn’t make up my mind. However, when I received the drink and tasted it, it was so sweet I couldn’t even taste coffee at all. Like I was drinking straight syrup. I went back up later and explained that I’m pretty sure I ordered wrong and asked for iced coffee, not a latte. She said no, I made you a latte. But as I was sitting there thinking about it I saw her pour coffee from a pitcher. Not brew it from the espresso machine. She informs me she did in fact make me a latte. She offered to make me something else “stronger” & with less syrup. I said yes please. This time got the same thing but with only hazelnut, no caramel. I watched her make it the same way, pouring whatever coffee it was from a pitcher. Here’s my problem. I’ve never in my life seen a coffee shop brew espresso ahead of time or anything and store it in a pitcher cold. This was the worst tasting espresso I’ve ever experienced, if it even was espresso. It was so watered down and weak it tasted like I was drinking a watered down, sweet iced coffee. I will never waste my money at this place again. $12 & two awful tasting coffees later. Extremely disappointed. I also personally think that if you receive something you are not happy with, the shop should remake your drink free. Every other place I’ve visited will do this if made incorrectly or even if you just don’t like the flavor. But she charged me for a second drink which I think is a bit outrageous. Don’t waste your time or money and go to a real coffee shop like Cumberland Coffee Roasters or 7 Brew. Literally anywhere else.

Nothing beats a coffee shop smell. Instantly awakens the soul smelling the brew, the clearly written signs are helpful when ordering something new. Helpful and patient employees.

We just happened to stumble upon Somethings Brewing and they’ve officially become our go to spot! The coffee is absolutely delicious and they have “coffee ice” (coffee frozen) and they’re super quick as well and VET/MILITARY friendly the atmosphere is so chill (but not snobby) and they even have warm food!! (Also a microwave) we will forsure be back as I said they’re going to be our new regular coffee shop, thanks for being awesome!

Updating as a major issue arised at one of my visits. I requested a tempered steamed milk for my child who was present. The barista handed me the cup and did say it was hot. I took the cup, planned to let it cool and did all I could to cool it quicker. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to stop my child in time before they took a sip several minutes later, which resulted in a burned mouth. I definitely learned I need to not accept a half done job, sadly at my child's expense. I know the lady saw what her lazy mistake did, and perhaps she will do better. Still, I won't be back since they cannot take the time to redo or fix a hot cup for a child which was specifically requested. The fat in milk makes it take longer to cool as well. Starbucks can temper cups for kids, and I cannot recall an issue there. Luckily for everyone it wasn't a blistered mouth, but lazy employees are a liability. I'm also pretty sure at one visit they were new and I got less shots of espresso in my cup. ................. Grabbed my favorite flavor, lavender, here. Service was quick and kind.

Good coffee and convenient location. However, if you are looking for a quiet place to read or get some work done away from home, this is NOT the place. The employees can be loud when socializing with the customers, making it difficult to concentrate. I don't expect it to be like a library, but some consideration for the customers trying to get work done would be nice. If you want the traditional coffee shop experience, stay away or at least wait until the afternoon where the employees are more considerate.

Love this place! You walk in to the amazing smell of coffee beans w a homey ambiance, couches and tables to sit and relax/ chat 🤍 the ladies at the counter are welcoming and courteous. They have seasonal drinks that taste incredible. I had the Jack & Sally- if you like sweet, this one def does it w the raspberry flavor. Then went back and tried their pumpkin dirty chai- awesome. I also had a slice of their banana nut cake 😭 soft and delicious- prob the best I’ve had in a looooong time! Can’t wait to see what they have next time we come ☺️ If you haven’t been there, def try it. Drinks are about $5 each and baked goods are about $2-$3. They have a teacher and military discount and a rewards program too 🤍

Great coffee and amazing baristas

We went there this past weekend and were extremely disappointed. I don’t know if they got new employees or what but they were rude. I’ve been here multiple times and have never experienced this. The coffee tasted like water and it seems like nothing is consistent here.

Have wanted to try this for a while since we go to and from Raeford weekly and it’s near Paraclete and Cape Fear Orthopedics, and so glad to finally get to try it. Delightful experience with good coffee drinks and perfectly blended matcha and even better staff. Will definitely return!

I went two days in a row while moving. Both experiences were fantastic. Completely different staff each day but just as positive of an interaction and the coffee was excellent both times. It's a bit far from my new place but I will definitely make it a point to visit anytime I'm near that area.

We’re in town for a riding competition at the Carolina Horse Park. After a miserable Day 1 due to pouring rain, 20mph winds, and 55 degrees, I was in desperate need of WAY MORE and MUCH STRONGER coffee than the hotel could provide for Day 2. Thank goodness for Something’s Brewing Coffee Shop!!! Not only do they have fabulously strong coffee, they had a 30oz travel mug to keep me going for hours. I think the barista this morning was the owner, and she was great. I’d say she was almost too cheerful, but she’d had coffee and I hadn’t yet. LOL Very cute sitting area, which made me wish I could just sit and enjoy my coffee. If we’re ever back in the area, I’ll be sure to bring my awesome new mug for another cuppa.

So glad we stopped here to try. The coffees we got were the Snickers and the Snickerdoodle. Really good much better than going to ⭐️bucks! Also it’s veteran owned even better. The m&m blondies are also enjoyable. Definitely will go again to try the other coffee flavors.

This is our new favorite coffee shop. I’ve lived in the area for several years and am kicking myself for never trying this hidden gem! Unlike Starbucks, they can make just about ANYTHING sugar free. My favorite is the sugar free snickerdoodle. Even better, they have coffee ice cubes which is an absolute game changer. The coffee is well made and delicious. The service is always very friendly. My wife and I now come here any time we get the chance. Don’t miss this stop for some amazing coffee and friendly atmosphere.

Went today with my girlfriend, I'm in town visiting her and such a cute place. 👍 I love the name and local independent coffee shops are my thing and she recommended this one. ☕ It's quiet big in side, lots of seating areas. There was a girl in front of us ordering and she's like you can't go wrong with anything here it's all so good.🥰 The barista was super friendly and I love all the drink combos and names. I had the 9 Iron iced latte which was Caramel and Butterscotch and oh so good, I love the fact that they have coffee ice cubes too, you don't see that very often I think it's super smart and a nice touch. My friend got a hot chocolate as she isn't a coffee drinker and said it was really good. We enjoyed our drinks, their merchandise is cute as well such a nice shop I will definitely be back next time I'm in town or may get one again before I leave....😂👌 I love good coffee and this one did not disappoint and it also smells so good when you walk in too, that amazing coffee shop scent is always a plus in my book too. This is by far my family’s’ favorite coffee! Nothing even comes close to how good this is! I’ve tried some other privately owned coffee shops recently on a different side of town and they don’t even come close. The Italian job and Kim possible are my favorites.

Outstanding service! The coffee is amazing, too. ....and they have coffee ice cubes! Yes, they have frozen coffee cubes so your coffee doesn't get watered down. The store is quaint, clean, and inviting. I'll definitely be a frequent patron!!

Tried this coffee shop in Hoke. Good stuff! My 97 year old grandfather and I really enjoyed it on the go. And the barista was very friendly .We'll be back

First time here. My husband raved about this shop and wanted to take me in with him the next time he visited. We had great service and our baristas were super friendly and had an easy demeanor. Loved the blueberry muffin. We will be back for future coffees and snacks.

We are new to the area. We went to the coffee because of the review, and something close. Who ever was the server on October 29 at noon was very rude, unhelpful and unwelcoming. She had an attitude. We won’t be coming back because of the customer service attitude. We went to many coffee shops around the US and around the world. The coffee tasted horrible and horrible customer service

Great service, and a unique experience.

The coffee was really yummy and made very well. The service was also efficient and fast. The prices were very reasonable. BUT the smoothie was NOT good at all. It did not taste like strawberry or banana unfortunately and the breakfast sandwich was just okay. Overall great place for coffee. Not many places to sit and hang out or do work though & some of the items are not made very well.

Great coffee and new homemade sweets each day if you want a bite with your morning cup. The staff always makes me smile. This place is my go to.

Please don’t give this place a dime of your money. I literally just walked in there 40 minutes before closing and the young lady behind the counter said they didn’t have any regular coffee because it was “pretty late in the day“. The sign literally says coffee shop. This is at least the third time I’ve gone in there and they didn’t have any coffee made. Again it’s a coffee shop. On more than one occasion I’ve gone in there and their young staff has sat there and ignored me while they talked to each other or their friends. Never again, not a dime.

The best coffee with the best service. I love this place and it's my favorite coffee around! The choices are great, the atmosphere is fun and family oriented. You can tell that your orders are made with love by people that enjoy what they do. They always have new drinks for you to try and let me tell you about their breakfast sandwiches, burritos or even the brownies and snacks. I still wish I had bought an extra cinnamon swirl (it was that good). Strongly recommend, and you'll see why soon.

I just happened upon SB and I was not disappointed. The staff was extremely polite and very helpful. She suggested coffee based our conversation and it was fantastic. I highly recommend and will definitely be going back.

This place is overall fantastic. Was referred there while dealing with an unfortunate car glass repair down the road and my mood was turned around after visiting. The coffee was fantastic as was the staff serving it. We hung out for a while and the game shelf and pin ball machines were a great way to keep me occupied while waiting. Would love to visit again if I’m ever in the area because I absolutely loved it !

This is really a hidden gem in Raeford. Coffee is always made right and the same everytime I come here. The staff is always on point and very welcoming. But by far the best thing about this little shop is the baked goods. Right now as you can see I'm eating the cinnamon roll cake and it is phenomenal! (Hint the owners are professional bakers too so it's a two for one here!) A+++

Something's Brewing made custom pastries for our Thanksgiving party. The "fancy pop tarts" are exactly what we wanted! My wife and I highly recommend them for your next event.

I love the coffee and all of the employees are always cheery and happy to serve every customer. I recently purchased a cake through them for my daughter's 2nd birthday and they delivered what I wanted it was amazing thank you so very much it was a delicious cake.

The coffee is delicious, the staff is friendly, the seats are comfortable. The owners always make an effort to ensure customers have a good experience. Man cannot live by coffee alone, though, so have a pastry!

Grateful that this place is here- there are not many options for good coffee from a small business in this area. Coffee is delicious, service is great, often busy but the line moves fast.

This place is a great coffee shop. My husband and I go every Sunday morning. We really enjoy the monthly specialty drinks menu, but their everyday menu is great too. They have a good selection of sugar-free syrups and alternative milks, Husband is a health nut. They always have fresh baked treats for sale and frequently have GF treats. They are also a specialty cake shop, but I have never bought a cake so I can't speak to that. Thr atmosphere is quiet and calming, no loud music. There are sofas and chairs to sit in, several smaller tables and a large family style table for spreading out work or working with a group. The baristas are always pleasant, (how is that even humanly possible)! They always welcome you with a smile and remember husband's habit for sugar-free, large, almond milk and Xtra hot. Definitely worth driving out of our way every Sunday morning.

I make my way out here every two or three months, and today's concoction was perhaps the best Iced 9 Iron I've had. The new barista rocked it with this drink and he needs a pay raise!!!

This place is such a little hidden gem. When I ensure I do my due diligence and make sure I bring my cash or other forms of accepted payment , the coffee is perfect each time. Although certain types of cashless payments such cryptocurrency are the future, this coffee Mecca hasn’t incorporated them… yet . Until they do , cash and debit is king…… in short , Pay for your coffee . This place is great and worth it !
