Best store to shop for all your Italian items. All the workers there are the friendliest helpers in getting whatever you need. A special shout out to CARMEN , my cold cuts slicer he knows just the way I like everything cut . Sorrento's is the best!

Authentic emporium of everything Italian! Sorrento is the real thing in a market of "posers." They ARE Italian. They are very focused and they offer a perfect selection of: fresh meats, already prepared foods, cheese, pasta, bread, and grocery products for any Italian meal. They truly have the best sausage! They are super friendly and not intimidating. It's like the old days of the Italian family grocery on the corner.

This was a great experience. If you love to eat meat, this is the place for you. See Joe, he's amazing, the entire staff is attentive and I love it because they work as a team.

This is the best, by far., fresh filled cannoli I have ever had. Crisp shell, creamy, not grainy piped filling., delicate texture and smooth finish. Absolutely perfect.

In my opinion, one of the best places to get Italian food. Been going to Sorrento since my mom introduced me to the store in Bridgeport over a decade ago. From their fried eggplant to their stuffed roasts, they are simply the best. Top quality food, fair pricing, and friendly service. Highly recommend.

I started coming here with my mom when I was a child. Truly a great Italian store for meats,cheeses,Italian sodas,cookies,bread and prepared foods. The cold cuts are simply the best. The two brothers who own Sorrento's go above and beyond to keep their clientele happy. Things you should try...made fresh daily sausage,sweet,hot,with fenel,with out. Stuffed checken breast, Porchetta.

I used to shop at Sorrento's In Bridgeport occasionally we'd buy something for The Firefighter's dinner when we worked Nites other times we might pop in for a sandwich Roast beef, Porketta, chicken Parm My mouth is watering just thinking of it retired in 2010 and was living east so after the Fire I had heard they were looking and eventually found a space but sadly I haven't been to the new store But I think its past due time that I get out there for some goodies. Given the quality of the food from My past experience I assure you wont hear me complain about what the exterior Looks Like and I wont whine about not being fancy enough I Know quite well YOU had to Move due to a fire with Bills to play finding a new location and getting set up to continue paying bills is way more important then any silly astetics trying to look like something 1 person thinks ... the quality is in what they present in product NOT what you think they should look like ... never in 20 years in Bridgeport Did I ever have a bad meal that started from these folks

Lived here for years but somehow never heard of this place. Went in today and had the best Italian combo grinder ever. Truly. Better than Gaetanos or A&S and only $6. I’m going back tomorrow.

You can still get a sandwich for $6. A really really good sandwich. That could be the whole review lol. I got a "Dallas" which is chicken cutlet, barbecue sauce, cheese, bacon, and caramelized onions, and I got it on a sesame seed grinder roll for $6.75. And the bread was fresh. The attention to detail is a perfect reflection of the experience that goes into a deli old enough to have importing in it's name. You shouldn't expect leftovers, but what you can count on is walking through the door and into a place out of time, a relic from a bygone era that must be protected and preserved. You should also expect a strong desire to return anytime you're in the area, or passing through Fairfield 💯

Excellent butchers shop as well as prepared foods and sandwiches. Lots of imported Italian items. Prices are reasonable and people are friendly.

I love Sorrento's they're cold cuts and their meats are fresh and inviting their sausage and pepper sandwiches and everything they make is good I love their sausage they make it right there the best place to get everything you need to make an Italian spaghetti sauce and I'm Hispanic just love that place

Excellent deli. Try the stuff chicken at the butcher. If you want a sandwich they are all good but the Italian combo with the works with sharp provolone is my favorite. Enjoy!

I’m a native Bridgeporter who has moved from the area and the one place I can’t replace living in another area of CT is Sorrento’s. I always went there for my sausage bc they made the best. I have been getting sausage from public market in Middletown which was pretty good but still not as good as Sorrento. My point is that even though I live about an hour from Fairfield I’ll be driving down there to get the best sausage anywhere nearby.

This place is great all authentic Italian

The lunch sandwiches are delicious! I won’t admit to how many times a week we sometimes get lunch here, but suffice to say, it’s good! The chicken parm, eggplant parm, meatball parm, Italian with the works, etc. are so tasty. It’s extremely reasonably priced for what you get. They also have a deli which has great quality food, again for reasonable costs. Recommended!
