Absolutely delighted by my experience at Soul of India restaurant! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality by the incredibly friendly staff. Their genuine smiles set the tone for a memorable dining adventure. Now let's talk about the food - it was an absolute culinary delight! Every dish I tried was bursting with flavor, expertly prepared with the perfect blend of spices. And the best part? It was all so affordable! I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices, especially considering the high quality of the food. But what truly stood out to me was the impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. They were attentive, efficient, and always had a positive attitude. Without a doubt, I wholeheartedly recommend Soul of India to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. Whether you're a seasoned foodie or just looking to try something new, this restaurant is a must-visit. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Ordered takeout 2 hours ahead of pickup time Kinda bummed honestly Rice good Naan good Tikka masala ok ( not much chicken though ) But kebab appetizer was truly a major disappointment 1)menu and pics say “lemon chicken “, “lamb”, “tandoori chicken” Ok -that’s great Exactly what I want But they decide to add an item #4 - some kind of sausage (that I have no interest in or do I want to eat ) Further ALL THREE of the meat items I DID want were more dry than Texas asphalt in summer Like cooked days ago and tossed in microwave I have ZERO problem paying Charge more if need be I d prefer quality over quantity I didn’t want or ask for any kind of sausages I don’t like when a menu says one thing and you are given something not as described There are 4 different “meats” in attached picture / as well as waste of peppers and onions again not interested in and just a filler in my opinion Quite disappointed frankly Been ordering here for years Quality has gone downhill fast

For a while, this was our go-to spot for takeout Indian food! We would travel 40+ minutes round-trip to pick it up. It was delicious and priced averagely for the area. This weekend, we placed a $100+ order - we hadn't ordered from Soul of India in a good while and wanted to have leftovers to enjoy during the week. For $100+, we received pretty average-tasting food. - One of the items was $16 and consisted of 6 ritz-cracker-sized pieces of dry fried chicken. (6 small pieces! yikes! literally just a container with 6 pieces of chicken, with a small cup of dipping sauce on the side) - On every item except for one, we marked "very mild" - which I thought was interesting, an option beyond just "mild", but welcome since I've not been able to really enjoy spicy food since my last pregnancy. I'd say that one of the "very mild" items was mild, but the rest had some heat to them. Why bother to offer "very mild"? - Our one "special instructions" request - for a few extra small cups of tomato/onion chutney, one of which is always included with orders by default - was ignored. I won't rag on the taste of everything that we got. Let's just say that, having been here many times before, it was a huge departure from what we had come to expect. This was a pretty big order placed by just the two of us, and for over $100, we were disappointed all around.

This is probably one of the only restaurants that is consistent and never seems to disappoint me everytime I come here! considering the price point of the buffet being so affordable and the quality of the food being phenomenal its a win win. You get a delicious meal for a good deal. The staff are kind and attentive and quick. I cannot stress enough the quality of the food is unmatched to any other Indian cuisine I've ever had on top of that if you get the chance to go to their sister restaurant da Vincis down the road they are amazing Italian food as well. Whoever the magical person is that owns and runs this company deserves so much recognition and love. And Jaspal is a kind hearted gentleman who has fantastic customer service skills and is a pleasure to converse with!

I have gotten takeout from here many times. I’ve always been pretty satisfied with the food except for the noticing their portions were getting noticeably smaller. I decided to take a friend here Wednesday for dinner. I ordered the sweet and spicy shrimp main. I was shocked when the order came out. The portion size was so small!!! It was served on one side of a dish with the other side being empty except for a tiny drizzle of something on the plate. There were 5 shrimp (average size) with some peppers, onions and sauce. The shrimp were so overcooked they were hard. My friend ordered a chicken dish (can’t remember what it was called) he had the same issue. Super small portion with overcooked chicken and not much else. Rice was supposed to come with each meal. Instead of each of us getting our own serving with our meal they put one small bowl on the table for us to share. Also, my food came out first. We sat there and waited for my friend’s food to come out so we could eat together and it took over 5 minutes for his meal to come out. By that time, my food was cold. I don’t understand why the wait. The place was empty. There were only 2 other tables besides us. Also, be prepared to wear your coat throughout dinner unless you’re a polar bear. It was freezing in there!! I won’t be going back to dine in and will definitely be rethinking getting anymore takeout.

Once again the overall ratings are deceptive. The food was excellent, authentic. The Gobi Manchurian was truly Indian Chinese style crispy and full of flavor with little coloring for effect. The biryani was amazingly done, Hyderabad style with a naan covering it to bake in the flavors. Some of the most authentic biryani I’ve had. More to come in future updates. The papad / condiments they serve pre food is poor / bland at best. I would suggest at they replace it something more authentic.

I order from here quite regularly, 1 star deduction as they seem to scrimp a bit on the rice they serve. I would suggest the owners please stop taking reservations and if you take it please tell people that you might have to wait long times for your table. Driving there after 40 min and with little kid is difficult. Nonetheless, you guys spoiled our night.

Soul of India is conveniently located in Sudbury. We, as a group of 10, loved a lot of food items that we ordered including Goat curry, Okra, Chicken tikka, Samosa, Buttermilk, etc. I suggest the restaurant to give a double-check into sizzlers, they were a little bland and the goat was a little undercooked (although it tasted great). A Flavorful Journey at Soul of India: A Must-Visit Indian Restaurant. . . . I recently had the pleasure of dining at Soul of India, an Indian restaurant located in Southborough, MA. As a first-time visitor, I was captivated by the warm ambiance, attentive service, and, most importantly, the incredibly delicious food. From start to finish, my experience at Soul of India was nothing short of exceptional. To begin my culinary adventure, I decided to try the Soya Chap, a dish I had never tasted before. The combination of marinated soya chunks and aromatic spices was a revelation. The texture was perfectly tender, and the flavors danced on my taste buds, leaving me craving for more. Next, I indulged in their famous Dal Makhani, a classic Indian lentil curry. The rich, creamy consistency was complemented by a perfect blend of spices, creating a harmonious symphony of flavors. It was evident that the chef's expertise was reflected in every bite. Accompanied by fragrant basmati rice, this dish left me in awe of its authenticity and depth of taste. For the main course, I opted for the Kofta, a vegetarian dish consisting of savory vegetable balls in a luscious gravy. The koftas were flawlessly cooked, boasting a crispy exterior and a tender, melt-in-your-mouth interior. The sauce was a delightful blend of spices and aromatic herbs, perfectly balanced to enhance the overall experience. No Indian meal is complete without a selection of traditional bread, so I ordered a variety of Indian bread, including Naan and Roti. Each bread was freshly baked, with a soft and chewy texture that paired beautifully with the flavorful dishes. The bread acted as a vessel to soak up the tantalizing gravies, elevating the overall dining experience. The attentive and knowledgeable staff at Soul of India truly enhanced my visit. They were passionate about their cuisine and graciously guided me through the menu, ensuring that my preferences were met. The service was prompt and friendly, making me feel like a valued guest throughout my dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Soul of India to anyone seeking an authentic Indian culinary experience. The restaurant combines warm hospitality, impeccable service, and outstanding flavors to create an unforgettable dining adventure. The extensive menu offers a wide range of options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike, guaranteeing that every palate will find something delightful. The next time I find myself in Southborough, MA, Soul of India will be at the top of my list. I look forward to exploring more of their tantalizing dishes and experiencing their exceptional hospitality once again.

This is my first time here and I personally did not enjoy the LUNCH buffet. First of all it’s not a spread worth $20/adult. Secondly, all the dishes are very dull flavored (to put it mildly). I get that they wanna cater to the broader audience but it’s too bland for any palette in my opinion. I don’t get why they need to add sweetness to almost every curry there. Also, what’s with the food color on many of those dishes. The Naan and the Pav Baaji bun were as stale as it can get. I almost threw up on the veg cutlet as it had a pungent odor and a weird taste. The Chicken in the Chicken Manchurian had a questionable texture and taste. Even the glasses used to serve water had a distinct off-putting smell. About the service - the staff were not particularly rude but were not welcoming, either. The only thing I liked here is the interior decor. Overall, an unpleasant experience. Nothing but yet another greedy, insincere restaurant that probably wont last long if they don’t reevaluate everything they’ve been doing wrong. I won’t probably visit this restaurant for a second time.

Delicious food, amazing and attentive staff. They went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our meal (and we did!) and went above and beyond with service and quality. Highly recommended!!

It has great service and really authentic Indian cuisine! The location is convenient too. Chicken Tika Masala was tasty and Coconut Vegetable Curry was well balanced.

My wife and I celebrated her birthday last night at Soul of India. What a fantastic dining experience! Being fairly new and quite novice with Indian cuisine (in fact, this was our first restaurant experience with it) I asked for some guidance with ordering, and that was the best decision I've made recently. The folks tending to us were positively marvelous, and made our evening beyond memorable. The gentleman we spoke with (one of the owners, I believe) suggested bringing out three courses -- appetizers, the main course(s) and desserts -- in a family style manner, thereby giving us the opportunity to try several things. I could go on and on. Bottom line. The food was fabulous, we tried and loved things we never would have ordered, and everyone who waited on us, were consummate professionals. We'll definitely go back, and I would highly recommend to anyone I know...especially those who have just started to enjoy Indian cuisine. A+!

A MUST VISIT! That is the best Indian food spot in the Boston area .. so much flavor, richness, and everything on the menu is priced reasonably! All the staff members were extremely polite and accommodating. My father has a food sensitivity and they handled the matter with extreme care. A round of applause for such excellent service, a truly remarkable experience. I live in Boston, will be a frequent visitor when I drive home to Connecticut. Please keep up the excellent work / quality and service standards, we will be back for more very soon!

Food quality and service was good but portions were very small. Almost seemed like tapas style. A $20 entree was size of a side at most restaurants. Would recommend going elsewhere.

Found this place while we were looking for Indian food around the area and decided to give it a try. Great choice if you’re vegetarian. We tried the broccoli naan, garlic naan, the malai kofta and Shahi paneer. Everything was delicious. Would 110% recommend the broccoli naan. Their rose lassi was a 50/50 - pretty sure it was a lot of Rooh afza that didn’t balance too well. My friend also tried their dal chicken which he really liked. Another chicken curry he ordered wasn’t up to the mark and they felt that the meat wasn’t cooked. Prices seem to be reasonable and service was top notch. I’d certainly recommend Soul of India.

We stopped in on a Sunday around noon to give the lunch buffet a try. It was delicious! There were several options for both vegetarians and meat eaters. Servers were prompt to remove used plates and refill glasses. Lots of families in attendance, but not too crowded and we got seats right away.
