My wife and I had a nice lunch here today. Great food and a good menu with affordable prices. Beef barley soup was the best anywhere. Roast beef sandwich was high quality and my lamb gyro was delicious and big enough to take some home. Building is old but neat and clean inside, and everyone was very friendly.

I ordered a old fashioned chicken noodles soup i got chicken Broth and noodles, nothing else. I bought a quart and for thirteen dollars

Such a good cheap place to get some delicious food! Their soups are so good! I especially love their chicken and dumplings soup.

Best homemade food. I have been there at least once a week for years. Still the same great food. No matter what you order on the menu, the soup jungle will never disappoint you. Phenomenal food.

My adult son, a friend and I had lunch there today. The menu offered a large number of options as well as their daily specials. Service was friendly and speedy. Our food arrived quickly and portions were generous. Prices very reasonable. Nice family restaurant. Highly recommend for breakfast or lunch.

They're fast. Their food is amazing, especially the French onion soup. It's also not so expensive.

For lunch today I enjoyed the Lemon Chicken Soup w Rice..tasty and quite perfect considering today's rain!

We were waited on by the owner…super nice, We have been wanting to come here for a long time, owner’s son-owns Dubz BBQ in North Port so we knew it would be great! Husband ordered a 1/2 sandwich/soup combo (turkey sandwich, Maryland Crab soup). I ordered a chicken, bacon, cheese sandwich. All delicious. Next time, I will also order the 1/2 sandwich/soup combo but get soup to go. Chicken sandwich was too much for me to eat!

The chilli was great nice and warm and filling but let’s talk about the chicken noodle soup that was amazing! Probably some of the best soup I’ve had! The Soup Jungle I our FAVORITE place to have lunch! EXCELLENT homemade soups and MANY daily soup specials! Sandwiches are fantastic, and they have a HUGE menu! Reubens and cheese melts are great! And very reasonable prices!

Love this place! They always have 4 kinds of homemade soup at the beginning of the day. As the day progresses, they cross one off at at a time because they are very popular and run out. But, the soup isn't what I usually go for. They have every type of wrap or sandwich, they have gyros, they even have pizza and calzones they have great hamburgers and have chicken nuggets. For breakfast, they even have a breakfast pizza. Give this little restaurant a try.

Ordered breakfast this morning took an hour to get it. But it's not bad but the food was cold when called the restaurant to tell me what we're busy. Not my problem but I'm ordering food for delivery expected to be somewhat warm. Will not go back there again and I buy from there almost every day.

This is one of the best places around for a quick lunch. The prices are very fair and the food is delicious. They have great sandwiches, soups, and burgers.

Hadn’t been here since I worked at Harbor Nissan in 2019. Had a Reuben. It is “the Reuben”. Fries are old school too. Still on point here for sure.

First of all I would like to say I've been to the Jungle dozens of times with my wife and brought in friends and family but the last few times we were there my wife told the wait staff that this did not taste good at all it wasn't the same as she usually got. Well that didn't matter because they charged us for it so we went back again today and order the same thing and she asked us how is it good right good right? And my wife once again said no it's not and again they charged us full price so I don't know if we'll ever return there and it's a shame that they didn't make good for it considering that we spend about $150 a month in t h e i r restaurant. Can't tell you how disappointed we are. I guess the almighty Buck is far more important than . business. Happy New Year just so you know every meal prior to that was delicious and it's a shame they didn't make good for it and they lose a customer not just one but not several. For all it's worth I know nothing's going to be done because everyone likes the money well we found another place where we are appreciated

Went there at 2:15 and they told us they were closed. My first experience. I will never go there again. You don't say you close at 3 and tell customers they are not serving 45 minutes before closing. Bad business...

I think this is l one of the most underrated restaurants in Port Charlotte. Everything is fresh by this family owned and run restaurant. Several different kinds of soup daily. Wonderful breakfasts. Generous portions. Very reasonable.

This place always has the best mozzarella cheesesticks in town, but I had their breakfast for the first time today and am blown away! Amazing veggie omelet and home fries that are to-die-for. And so much value for the dollar, something I particularly appreciate right now. WILL return, with family and friends.

Over 5 different soups made daily. Have been here several times and had 6 different types of soup and enjoyed each one. Love their lunch specials. Especially the soup and half sandwich for under 9 dollars.

I ordered a 12oz double cheeseburger and cheddar jalapeno poppers for me and a cheese burger for my wife off the grubhub app, and the food was the best ive ordered off grubhub and the best cheeseburgers in my opinion in the port charlotte location. And if you are like me and have grubhub plus the delivery is free. A must have for sure i hope this helps you order the best food you will have tonight cause mine sure was great. My favorite lunch spot! They always have a good special and amazing soup choices everyday! Everything they make tastes fresh and has a home cooked touch to it. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. I have never been disappointed here!

Nunca hubiera considerado este lugar, ubicado entre varios otros restaurantes y tiendas sin pretensiones en un centro comercial anodino a lo largo de la concurrida Tamiami Trail. Sin embargo, me lo sugirió el asesor de servicio en el concesionario de automóviles Nissan cercano, donde estaba esperando que me revisaran el auto. Muy limpio y la comida estaba deliciosa, aunque el servidor no mostró mucho entusiasmo pero estaba atento a mi pedido de comida. Disfruté de una de sus especialidades de menú a un precio muy razonable, un plato de sopa y un medio sándwich. Elegí la sopa de brócoli y un sándwich de carne en lata y estaban deliciosos. Sin duda volvería si en la zona de nuevo a la hora del desayuno o el almuerzo.

I visit Port Charlotte twice a year and Soup Jungle is always on my list of places to enjoy a meal. The owners are always there and make you feel at home. I normally have soup and always order the gyro, which is top notch. There is plenty of parking and adequate seating. I have always been seated right away.

Soup Jungle has a GREAT breakfast. Love their homefries. One of the few places down here that put spices in thier homefries..

Great "off the beaten path" place to get a bite.

Great food, they have 5 to 6 different homemade soups a day. The service is outstanding. It is a little mom and pops shop, Sam and Maisa make you feel right at home. Definitely a hidden gem.

This place is amazing. Wonderfulpeople, great food, great prices. They do breakfast, lunch and early dinners (they close at 5pm). Great cozy place to eat and feel welcome.

I like to do my shopping in the late afternoon, with a stop to a local spot for a light snack. I heard about the Soup Jungle while checking out some ads for local restaurants, and i enjoy a nice soup. Stopped in one afternoon and tried the potato soup. It was tasty, creamy, and loaded with large chunks of potato, almost too much. I enjoyed it and it hit the spot. I stopped again recently and had a different soup, but my addled brain cant remember which one. I do remember that i liked it as well, so i guess that's worth something right? Check this place out. I think you will enjoy it.

I really wanted to like the soup but it was really bland. Maybe I just had super high expectations because the word ‘soup’ is in their name. I might try another at some point, but there are so many other better options for my taste buds.

If you love soup, the Soup Jungle is for you. We are usually there 3-4 times a week. That is why I felt the need to do another review. We have never had a bad meal there. Staff is efficient, friendly and always makes you feel like you are at home. We are soup junkies but give breakfast a try too. It is amazing. I personally love their chicken salad. They do close at 5:00pm if you are a late diner. It's definitely worth getting carry out for dinner. I should also mention the prices are very affordable.

Service is good in this small breakfast/lunch cafe. The soups , we assume, are homemade but our Italian sausage soup left a bit to be desired. Our friends salads however looked very good. The prices are very affordable.

I have never gone here for anything but soup because I am slightly obsessed with soup. My husband had a steak sandwich and he enjoyed it. Back to the soup...they have 5 or 6 made from scratch everyday to choose one. I haven't tried one yet I didn't enjoy.

This is a great, little, hole-in-the-wall cafe that serves excellent soups and sandwiches at affordable prices. It looks a little run down, but the food is certainly worth it. Service was also excellent. I enjoy going here for a quick, affordable, tasty lunch.

Being in the mood for soup, and the Sunset grill shut down, we decided to try Soup Jungle out. We have driven past numerous times and been in the shopping center to go to the Thai restaurant. From the looks of the center, this place was abandoned by the landlord years ago. It looks run down. The Soup Jungle is also dated, but well kept. While a little dark, you don't come for the decorations, you come for the food. To fill the need for soup, she had a choice of five to choose from. I had the clam chowder and while more potato than clam, it was still tasty. The turkey club was also good. She said her soup was good too as was her sandwich. We will be back.

We came here because the other restaurant in the strip mall was closed. Thought we might just have soup; but, OH BOY, what a great diner. Small, family run, they had fabulous soup, and great sandwiches, and a REAL BIG BARGAIN PRICING! i I would come here for lunch every day is I worked nearby. How many restaurants have you been to where the food is great,,every time you eat there?

This has become our number "1" restaurant in Port Charlotte. We are there at least 3 times a week!! Only good comments. The staff are amazing and the service is outstanding. I have submitted a review before but I can't say enough about this restaurant.

They have very interesting items on their menu and I ended up having the Greek pizza which was pretty good. I wouldn't mind going back to get a better feel for this place.

I love there 5 different soup every day, They serve big breakfast for a great price2 eggs, sausage or bacon, or sliced ham with great home fries with toast or muffin. There soup comes in 3 sizes, small,med,large. Everyday 5 different. I get the pint of soup for $4.0 dollars. Everything is to my liking. Local Yolkel

Stopped in after reading comments, wasn't disappointed, the Seafood Bisque was very good with a side salad, husband had a wrap that was good also, friendly place for a quiet lunch. Prices are reasonable too.
