Great little spot. Excellent food and service. Make sure to ask for their homemade hot sauce, it is great. I just wish they would sell their hot sauce by the bottle.

Good was great and although servers seemed relatively inexperienced, they were all super friendly and did their best to be quick serving outside (lots of running back and forth). Definitely recommend regardless.

2023-07-13: This is a family owned and operated business. The waitresses were friendly, and the omelet and skillet were very delicious.

Little place at a country Crossroads. Charming rustic country atmosphere. They don't have very many tables but they also have counter seating with maybe six stools . I think they might have outdoor seating also but I didn't really investigate it . Very clean. You can tell it's popular with the locals. Very good and friendly service. We were there for lunch. Fried Green Tomatoes might be the best I've had. They have a remoulade sauce that they make to go with them that was excellent. Even my wife liked it, and she usually does not like sauces. I had the Florida Filly Po Boy (cheesesteak). Excellent. I had the full size with the side of onion rings, which were also great. The sub was so big I probably should have either taken half of it with me or ordered the half, but it was so good I stuffed myself. My wife had the fried shrimp with french fries which she liked so much she wouldn't even give me a taste and she took half of it home with her and ate it later. They had some delicious sounding homemade desserts on the Blackboard, but we were so full we couldn't eat any more. Maybe next time! They have a debris gravy that goes with some of the meals which I am also going to try next time. They also had a couple of gluten-free options on the menu.

An oasis. Wonderful food, atmosphere, and service. You can tell that it has great owners who do it the right way. So glad that we stopped by on our bicycle ride and can’t wait to come back.

Great family owned place - they went out of their way to take care of us after a funeral/burial and even opened late to accommodate us. They treated us with kindness and southern hospitality. All of the food was fantastic. We will be back!

Just in short this place is awesome

Food was delicious! Had the open face lunch. We ate outside and the flies were viscous will not do that again. Our server is the reason I don't give it a 10 outta 10. She was so worried about everyone else But her tables! She never came and got our used plates and then tried to give us wrong dessert. So sad because again the food was bomb but she needs to be better and not have so many tables she can NOT handle.

The food is tasty and the menu has a good selection. The cole slaw was especially good for my taste. Creamy with pineapple to make it sweet. We all enjoyed our meal choices. The service on this day was friendly but could not keep up with demand. It took quite a while for the food to arrive but we were not in a hurry and the food was worth the wait.

First time visiting this cafe. I was very pleased and will return there again.

The way the owner and his family handled a difficult situation with my elderly father today showed nothing but genuine compassion and kindness. This restaurant doesn’t only have exceptional food and amazing service but it also has genuinely good people running it. I’m thankful good people like this still exist in this world and I wish nothing but the best for this restaurant!

The reviews are true; this place is a hidden gem. Go here ASAP! The most lovely employees and atmosphere....and the FOOD! Everyone at our table was in bliss.

Just happened to find this gem as we were traveling back home from a long weekend. It was a little ways off i75, but so glad we went out of our way. Some of the best food and decent prices. The entire family/ staff were very friendly and helpful. We will be going out of our way, an hour from home, to visit this place again soon.

Super slow service which rendered our meal cold and soggy. Award wining soup, though too salty, had promise. Try elsewhere unless your desperate.

Adorable interior, excellent service, great prices, excellent food. I had a skillet, with bacon, eggs, home fries, diced peppers and onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, and topped with white gravy and toast. It was divine. It's not a whole lot of food, but considering that we were on our way to the strawberry festival it was perfect for the occasion. My girlfriend got a blt that she said was excellent. The hashbrowns had a weird aftertaste and seemed burnt and too oily. We will definitely be coming back with the intention of getting more food and trying desserts.

Such an amazing restaurant I ate there long ago when it first opened and I've struggled to get back there ever since because it's a good trip away from where I live. The food is fantastic . The staff today were outstanding. I wanted to stop for lunch but couldn't so I finished my work day and called just to see if by some chance if they were still open. They were not but they were still in the process of closing up, well they surprisingly let me put in a to go order so I managed to get exactly what I needed and wanted. That is amazing service and personally I feel the world needs more of it

The food was amazing and the cost was very reasonable I actually couldn't believe how cheap my bill was my waitress was very friendly and very good at her job and very pretty if I may add all and all it was an amazing lunch I will become a regular here now and I recommend if you are in the area you stop in and give it a try you won't be disappointed

Excellent lunch menu. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The po’boy Cuban was great. There green beans were properly seasoned. Several in our party have fish which was cooked well and no smell = fresh. Return? Yes

We arrived at closing time but the waitress quickly said 'order takeout and I will gladly bring to the patio where you can sit and eat'. Great sandwich and beautiful patio!

The food was very good. Server was very pleasant. Nice to have a different type of restaurant. Mellow cajun music is the background to add to the atmosphere. Loved the options of gator, fried oysters, fried green tomatoes and so much more...The homemade bourbon banana pudding was totally awesome. Got an order of freshly cooked beignets to go....the boys were in hog heaven.

A small hometown treasure family-owned and run, here you are treated like family. The food is good with nice portions and prices. I recommend Buffalo chicken salad or double bacon cheeseburger and dessert would be banana pudding 😋

Went for the first time early on a Thursday morning. The service was excellent and the food was very good. I have lived in Ridge Manor for almost 2 years and have never been here. Absolutely too notch! I will be back.

If you are traveling and looking for "a diamond in the rough" opportunity to eat. You have to give this establishment your time. I am never disappointed when I get the chance to eat here. Very kind staff, well portioned, excellent selections, "soul-food like" quality. Just 🤌 My personal takeaways specifically are that their coffee is ground fresh, their Deep South burger is phenomenal, and their beignets are made fresh. Wonderful 6 stars if possible

Best restaurant in FL! If you haven't eaten here, you're missing out. Fantastic food. The menu has wonderful variety, and everything is delicious. Give the pecan coffee a try. It's a go-to favorite of mine! I must say that the staff are the best part though. This is a family run establishment, and you can see that everyone cares about each other. They are kind and welcoming to all their guests as well! Gets busy during the holidays, so plan ahead. You NEED to go here! ♡♡♡

Cozy, homey atmosphere, and friendly friendly friendly. I’ve never had anything here that I didn’t like. This time I ordered the steak and I was surprised that it came out medium rare the way I like it and very tender although it was thin. Outback can’t give me what I ask for but this place can!
