I am a venue owner. Southern Smokin’ BBQ catered a large rehearsal dinner on site this evening. The staff was kind, hardworking, their buffet set -up was well done and the food was delicious! We hope to have them back again soon!

We hired Mary and her team for a family event at Lake Gaston. The entire process was straightforwardly enjoyable, and Mary did not disappoint. The food was terrific, and the whole day was a joy, thanks to Mary's team and us not spending the entire day over a grill and smoker. I would highly recommend Southern Smokin' BBQ for any event where BBQ is needed.

We hired Mary and her team for our wedding back in May 2019 and they were amazing! She was very responsive to my emails and her schedule was super flexible. The food was delicious, especially the beef brisket. The cocktail display was beautiful! The price was reasonable for the food selections we made and the number of guests we had. We had a company outing for 106 Engineers and guests and Southern Smokin BBQ did not disappoint. Anytime you can please 106 Engineers, you must be doing something right. Nothing but rave reviews from everyone!!! The food was outstanding as well as the service. Mary and her family were professional from the first phone call until the BBQ trailer left our parking lot. I would highly recommend Southern Smokin BBQ!!! We will definitely use them for future catering needs.

All I can say is WOW! The best BBQ and I am picky! In addition they have several different sides to choose from, and the only down side of that is choosing one! On top of everything they came up with something delicious called the Q Cup, which combines the Q and sides into one heavenly bowl. Highly recommend!! I was happy to see that Southern Smokin' BBQ came to Powhatan's Festival of Fiber. Their BBQ is absolutely delicious! I had the BBQ sandwich with slaw and it was amazing. The slaw was crisp and fresh and the prefect compliment to the tender BBQ. I hope to see them again next year!
