Only giving 4 stars since my pita was really hard, chicken was super dry as well. I loved the rice. Fries had too much seasoning. The little salad was also good

Went to St. George’s for the first time today though I have lived in the area for 12 years. I love an Italian sub so that is what I wanted to try. Bread makes the sub and this one had some delicious bread. However I agree with some other reviews. Little bit of meat and veggies were skimpy. Also tomato wedges don’t belong on subs. Sliced tomatoes do. Service was great just wish the sub was a little more exciting. Front door and windows could use a little Windex.

I can't really say how the atmosphere here is since I've only done delivery with them. I order the 6pcs kids meal and a 6in chicken philly sub. I kind of wish they added a little more chicken to the sub but overall it was excellent. Delivery was quick. Not even 30 mins after I order my food was dropped off. What got me to try them was my looking for a meal that wasn't pizza and I didn't have to use a food app to order it. Knowing that I have the option for cash or card payments is even better. Yes they do have a delivering fee I didn't ask I just know it was cheaper then those other places.

Thin. That's the best description. Subs are less than most chain places but thin, thin, thin. The thinnest ham, turkey, tomatoes paper thin, a few slivers of onion, barely any lettuce, some crazy inexpensive mayonnaise. Usually my wife and I are 3x and out. This was a 1x and no returns. Publix and Teeter blows them out of the water for a lesser price. And you get brand name, Boars Head meats. I think this was processed meat from Aldi packages to be honest. Two wing places within 2 miles each way (one has $1 wings) makes their wings not even in a comparable category. They're getting honest prices but below average quality and quantity of everything. Medium order of (good) fries, qty 18 French fries to be exact. Too many other places nearby to choose. We actually left and I stopped at another take-out for more food on the way home. I'd rather pay a little more to get average, acceptable quality.

Really I'd give it an overall 3.5 but the food and service is always a 4. I don't go here much but whatever I order is always really good. I took my kids here the other day and they loved it. My son got a cheeseburger and it was huge. I was surprised he ate it all, to be honest. They're generous with their french fry portions as well. I usually get the falafel, which is always good, but sometimes I'll do a veggie or kebab platter. You really can't go wrong.

Ordered online from UberEats with a hefty price tag of over 100.00 dollars, expecting the subs to be a decent size (ie. 12 inch), but very disappointed with barely 6 inch in size. We ordered pastrami subs but they were no where near the taste we were expecting? They tasted very flavorless, almost mystery meat based... For appetizers we decided on a chicken salad and grape leaves filled with rice, both were horrible. The rice was total mush and the leaves were hard as a rock! The chicken salad tasted old and dry, with mayonnaise thrown in!! Needless to say, we won't be ordering from this place ever again! $100.00 down the drain, keep your money! Still hungry here as we couldn't stomach this food 😫

We've ordered Uber eats from here several times and tonight's order was just dreadful. They forgot our cheese steak. The "medium" grape leaves contained 3 grape leaves. The gyro and falafel was dry as a bone. Just a dreadful experience. It's sad cause we've ordered a few times before and it was pretty good (except the time before where we didn't get another item) but I don't think we'll risk it again.

An outstanding sub and grill restaurant with very reasonable prices. The service was equally outstanding. Both the Lamb Gyro and Chipotle Philly Cheesesteak sub was excellent. The French Fries are some of the best we have eaten in a while. We will be back to try other items on the menu.

The food is very fresh tasting and delicious. They are very friendly. Also the price is pretty good considering inflation and all.

First- I ordered my food online and was overcharged for cheese-i called and let them know and they assured me I WOULDNT get the extra cheese i paid for(i always leave a tip so i figured I’d let them keep it as part of their tip anyways), then when i went to pick up my food the establishment was a mess and in need of a deep cleaning and had very limited drink and chip options, i decided to give them a shot solely because of the great reviews i read online but when i went to try my food (i ordered the chicken salad sandwich) i was very disappointed in my whole meal, the chicken salad seemed to be just boiled chicken in mayo with pepper sprinkled on top, and tasted like nothing but mayonnaise-which was very gross to have a mouth full of mayonnaise , definitely will not be spending another $16 for a sandwich here

This was one of the most filling subs I’ve had from a shop in a while! The bread is good quality and they loaded it with lunch meat. I will definitely be going back!

Family friendly atmosphere. User friendly website. Food was great! Chipotle cheesesteak sub will burn your socks off! Solid lamb gyro. Cheesecake not too sweet but real good. Fries were a mix between bojangles and cookout but not as greasy.

This shop is very nice and clean. The treatment is very good. As for the food, it is very good. The tuna from under their hands is amazing and the potatoes are all sweet and the most beautiful thing is dealing with people kindly and giving respect to anyone I like to deal with.

chicken salad sub was dry , bread was burnt and dry and the worker had her little son there at work and he was talking/ yelling hanging at the tables so loud on the phone , I couldn’t even enjoy my lunch . Not coming back.

This place is a very clean place , has such delicious food has one of the best customer service I ever experienced. I 100% recommend you to try it you won’t regret it. And they treat you very friendly just like they are you’re own family.

After reading the reviews I was excited to eat here. The staff was friendly, but the food! Nah! We ordered the Philly cheesesteak and the Volcano chicken sandwich.. It was tasteless and nothing to hype over! Very disappointed in the food! Tasted mediocre! We have no idea why the reviews are rated so high!

We've only eaten here a few times, but it's quickly become a family favorite! Not only is the food absolutely delicious, but the owners are so kind and accommodating! I love a good gyro but I can only have the meat, which normally ends up with me picking the sandwich apart, and trying to clean it off, but not here! They will even par cook it for me so that when I add it to something I'm cooking it doesn't overcook or burn! I would recommend this place to everyone, not just for really good food, but for super friendly service, and maybe even some delicious cake! (The lemon is a fam favorite)

New to the area and decided to try this place out. We got the philly cheesesteak and the volcano chicken. Both were phenomenal. The break is baked fresh, the chicken they bread themselves and the ingredients fresh.. The owner and his wife helped us and were so nice. We love supporting small businesses and will definitely be back!

Came Here Yesterday And Ordered A Grilled Chicken Sub, Added Bacon, Lettuces And Banana Peppers And It Was By Far One Of The Best Subs I've Ever Had. So Good I Came Back Today To Order Another One Today! Met The Owner By The Name Of George And He Is A Great Guy That Has A Beautiful Family! Ordered a 5 piece chicken wing combo on dec 30th 2022. It is now 1240am dec 31st and I have vomited twice and have symptoms of food poisoning. The wings seemed like they were cooked before then became cold and then reheated. Didn’t think nothing of it until about 6 to 7 hours later I ran a fever, stomach cramps, headache and vomiting twice so far. That was the only thing I ate that day. That was the first time and last time I eat there. Will be calling the local health department in the morning.

My boyfriend stopped here on a whim and grabbed lunch for us after hitting Lowe’s Foods for some New Years supplies… and holy moly that was the BEST avocado BLT I’ve ever consumed. He got a Philly cheesesteak and loved it. New customers for life here!! Amazing food and really wonderful service. I can’t wait to work my way through the menu.

After awhile of indecisiveness, I decided to try this place. The couple was so nice and remembered my name despite the kids running around. It was refreshing. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch sub and it was really good! Between the hospitality and the food, I recommend!

Today my wife and I decided to try St.George Subs. We live in Raleigh, a friend of mine spoke to me about it yesterday. So we decided to go and try it out. I ordered the Chipotle Philly Steak and my wife ordered the Lamb Gyro .All we can say about our meals, they were excellent, very delicious very tasty and fresh. Next time, which should be next week we will try something different. The owners wife is a excellent chef. Thanks guys for you wonderful food and service.

My first time eating from here today and the food is AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! I tried the lamb gyros, chicken gyros, and Philly chicken sub, and every single item was very flavorful and seasoned perfectly! I also tried the red velvet cake which I will definitely be adding to future orders. Very nice friendly service as well. I wish I lived a little closer, but 30 minutes away is not too bad of a drive when the food is so delicious!

This evening was my first time eating there. I got a takeout ….I purchased two lamb gyros…They were absolutely delicious. It was worth the purchase. The people working there are very kind, and friendly, as well. I love Gyros, and I will definitely be going back. I highly recommend anyone to eat there. Great customer service. They have lots of good food on their menu.

The place is always empty and the food is mediocre at best. Try Firehouse Subs down the street if you want a quality sub. Great mission and they support the firefighters. Update to owner’s response: Nothing personal. They just aren’t great in my personal opinion and the few times I’ve been in I was one of the handful of people dining there. With that being said, it’s impressive that you remember all of your customers by face with the countless customers that you have served over the past decade. Best of luck.

The gyros are delicious! The Philly cheesesteaks are delicious! But y’all… the CAKES ARE TO DIE FOR!!! I couldn’t stop eating it before I thought “this deserves 5 stars and I need to grab at least one shot if these layers!” So here I am, full as hell, but ready to go back for more 😋 I got a tuxedo cake (almost gone in the pic) and a dark chocolate cake (whole slice)

The food here was terrible, I was so upset because I read the reviews and I was so disappointed. My grandkids got a ham and cheese kids meal and no cheese or mayonnaise on the sandwich. Mine was a steak and it was dry, no cheese, or sauce.I am from NY so I know a good steak n cheese.I also was looked upon because of my race. I spent a lot of money, the lady making the bags was really nice though.

This place is pretty good staff friendly subs are good and I recently had a Burger from there which was pretty good it reminded me of a whopper from BK but more fresh loved the fresh vegetables on my burger pretty decent size .

The restaurant is clean. Staff is friendly. Food is reasonably priced, served quickly, and hot. I wouldn't call it a gourmet meal or anything, most things could easily be made at home with the same ingredients, but everything tasted good and we enjoyed our visit.

Have been going here 10 years now. Every visit we leave happy. Drive 45 minutes for their subs! They are so nice foods always fresh and hot! Prices are great!

The family that operate this place are wonderful! I really enjoyed talking with them and seeing how great they are with their children. I had the Philly, which was excellent. The tuxedo mousse cake was out of this world. I will make it a point to return when I am traveling in the area. On the day I visited, the dining room and restroom were very clean.

I had a mishap with my avocado and it was missing on sandwich and when I called to voice my concerns the delivery man popped over with a fresh, hot new sub! It was perfect, avocado BLT add chicken.

This is an authentic Mediterranean restaurant. The food is fresh, the service is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. I really enjoyed the shrimp sub, the homemade Falafel gyro, and the fried calamari.

Delicious lunch 2 days in a row. The gentleman and lady who run this establishment give it there all and it shows. Not sure if they are more concerned about food quality or customer service but they do a magnificent job at both.
