Awesome restaurant in Morgantown. The food is delicious, especially the escargot, crab cocktail, and homemade meatball, which was huge (I should have shared it). Outstanding entrees included the sea bass with lobster, veal milanese, and Dover sole. Our server had limited wine knowledge, but his friendliness, and attention to detail more than made up for that.

The service was great. Took the bartender a long time to make two drinks. I enjoy eating and spending time with family but three and a half hours in a restaurant was a stretch. Steaks were slightly over cooked. Hoping it was just a bad night for the kitchen.

The best (maybe the only) place for real fine dining in Morgantown. Food and drinks are consistently good. Staff are professional and friendly. Meals take a while, so don't go if you're not prepared for the relaxed pace. A little pricey, but I think with good reason. Main dining room is relatively small and can sometimes feel cramped, but still good for conversation. Good spot for a special occasion.

Amazing meal and service provided at Stefano's mid week. Restaurant was almost half full at the time I arrived. The server Cody was very friendly and seated me promptly. Accommodated me with bread and a palate cleanser between courses The lavender lemon drop was enjoyed not once, but twice and was perfect each time. I enjoyed the crab meat with the two varieties of sauce, homemade gnocchi with a giant stuffed meatball and cannoli for dessert. The crab was fresh and the sauces were excellent. The gnocchi were soft and fresh. Paired with the big meatball I was struggling to finish. The pistachio chocolate chip cannoli was fresh and not too sweet. Will be back

All around exotic tasty delicious elevated chef master plates, that will make your tastebuds dance,. This ain't your everyday olive garden pasta place, this is a nobles pilgrimage to the holyland of Gormae cuisine at its finest. Along with on of master class bartender Michael, specialty legendary cocktails will blow your mind and litterly bring you closer to the divine, from figs to olives lemons to limes, like cullinary scripturea, in the land of milk and honey , it's a Soma like mixture, a drink of the gods elixir, the more you experience the bigger the picture. joyous delight expanding horizons to new levels of perception and insight. Elevating tastebud safistication to hights of aviation. A royal feast to say in the least. In authentic Italian traditional after the feast celebrating with the fellows, its time for desert shots of lemon Chello toast giving thanks for the day so we may be blessed anouther day

Prices have been raised to the point of no return, at least for me. I get it, everything has gone up but they have pushed the limit.

Stefano's is an absolute gem! The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for any occasion. The service is impeccable—attentive without being intrusive. Every dish is a masterpiece, combining traditional flavors with a modern twist. The pasta is heavenly, and the wine list complements the menu perfectly. A must-visit!

This was by far the best meal we had while visiting my daughter. Everything we had was excellent from appetizers to dessert. All the entrées were top notch. Veal chop, Chilean sea bass, and halibut.

The food was great, but it took a very long time to get our meals.

Delicious food and cocktails.  If you are looking for a great restaurant for wonderful food and ambiance this is for you.  Started with a sausage stuffed pepper and lemon drop lavender martini.  The sauce on the pepper was the perfect flavor to scoop up with warm dinner rolls.  Wedge salad and tomato caprese salad crisp and yummy. Halibut with Crab is a star dish, if you only try one dish this is the one.  Filet mignon cooked perfectly medium rare slathered in melted butter and garlic, grilled broccoli rabe and red potatoes.  We even had dessert which was amazing- flourless chocolate tart and ice-cream penguin style (caramel/chocolate sauce).  Highly recommend if you are looking to eat really good food and have cocktails that are not filled with sugar.

Stefano's is "the place" to go in Morgantown for older folks with an income that allows them to go here. The food was good but doesn't awe you, and for the price tag, I want to be awed. The atmosphere is okay, but the size makes it feel a little crowed as it's usually packed. The wait staff are excellent, standing in corners and refilling your water glass, etc, as one would expect, but where it got dodgy for me was how long it took to finish dinner. Maybe they are going for the dining experience, but they have the timing off for this. We waited a long time between courses, and that wait felt a bit unreasonable. Still, though, if you're looking for a good meal at one of those places, you won't be disappointed.

4 of us ordered the veal piccata, It was horrible. Way to much lemon and the veal itself was not good. I did not eat mine and was still charged.

Everything was fantastic from the food recommendations to the frequency of check up. Not to much but perfectly timed when we needed something. Pretty sure our server was named devin, this guy was top of the class. Place itself is very comfortable and well lit for a nice dinner.

I had dinner this evening at stefanos . The waiter we had was excellent. The food was very good. But the time between courses was ridiculous. It took forever to get appetizers. Then between appetizers and main course was even worse. I understand it is a high end restaurant and they give you time between courses but the the wait was way to long. But the worst thing was we were packed in like sardines. There was very little space between our table and the next table. When the waiter was at he adjacent table his backside was in our face. It was the same on both sides. I am not a covid fanatic but it made me feel uncomfortable sitting so close to the next table. When you are paying what stefanos charges you don’t want to feel crowded. The restaurant has a huge room in the back so I am not sure why they had to cram everyone together. The food and service was excellent but I didn’t appreciate being crammed into such a small space. One table next to us was loud and it was hard to hear the other people we were having dinner with. Not a pleasant experience.

It must be a challenge to cook for those with food allergies. Well I just wanted to say that this Chef went beyond and made the best Sea Bass I have ever eaten. This meal is listed on the menu with lobster risotto. (Mine was made with parmesan cheese and asparagus.)

It was good but for what we paid it should have been better. We went there for the ribeye that was on the online menu but when we got there it was removed. Had to settle for the $60 NY Strip....Morgantown needs more options for Anniversary dinners.

Food was exceptional. Wine list was great. Red snapper with blue crab risotto was wonderful and gnocchi with meatball was hearty and substantial. Bread was very good.

In the hard to find basement of a bowling alley, the ‘thud’ of bowling balls clearly audible and odd dark decor adding to the weirdness, it was a pleasant surprise to enjoy a great meal at this stripmall venue. The pasta, meat and wine were all tops. Service was attentive, though slow in teasing the food out of the kitchen.

Service and food outstanding....

Was very good, nice atmosphere and excellent service. Was part of a large party so got to taste a few other dishes. However, my gnocchi dish was cold when served and I was not a fan of their red sauce, was too sweet and perfumey--like too much tarragon or anise? While I can understand beef and fish are premium products, the pricing of other menu items was about 20% higher than comparable restaurants, in my opinion.

Fantastic dinner at Stefano’s! Definitely will be back. The stuffed meatball was incredible. Homemade pasta was fresh and flavorful. Service was kind and prompt. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Best of Morgantown!

Amazing food, drinks, and atmosphere. We just moved here and weren't aware, but you will probably need to call for a reservation in advance. Our server was very helpful and knowledgeable. The handmade pasta is *chef's kiss*.

I was in the area for a business trip. Very nice and small setup. Classy with an upscale vibe (wear your best sports jacket!) Bartenders were very courteous, as well as all the other staff. Nice cocktail menu, and of course decent dinner menu. Shall I ever return, I will visit again.

One of the few remaining family-owned restaurants left around here. Great atmosphere, attentive staff, and exquisite cuisine. It is a little pricey, but well worthwhile given the previously mentioned attributes of the restaurant.

We had an absolutely fantastic New Year's Eve dinner last evening at Stefano's, but that is not a surprise - we have never had a bad experience there. I had my favorite - Chilean Sea Bass which was prepared to perfection. The atmosphere was warm, and the service from our waiter, Lydian was exceptional. What a perfect way to start the new year!

Had an impeccable dinner...the pasta was superb and the scallops cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the artichoke appetizer as well. The service and food could not have been better. The best place in Morgantown I've eaten at.

Nice Italian restaurant in Morgantown. The staff are AMAZING and knowledgeable about the dishes here. We enjoyed the seafood here especially the crab cakes 🦀 👌🏽 The ambiance is perfect for a special occasion or business dinner.

This place is on point. As transplants from a metropolitan city, we haven't found a whole lot places in Morgantown that would be considered true fine dining. But Stefano's definitely is. From the creative, seasonal menu, to the impeccable service, I have never been disappointed with my visit here. It is pricey, so it's saved for special occasions, but definitely worth every penny.

Clean building. Very professional server we had. He was knowledgeable about the food and answer any questions we asked. The food was delicious. Whine was great. Pricey, but well worth it. Definitely recommend to visit.

This is the only restaurant I would consider true fine dining in Morgantown. There are other restaurants with decent and/or creative food, but subpar service. Stefano's understands that fine dining is as much about the attention to detail as the (amazing) food.

This place is underneath a bowling alley but don't be fooled. This is as good an Italian restaurant that you'll ever find. Outstanding food and service. I wish I could have tried the desserts but I was too full.

Stefano's evokes what we feel would be a universal prepossessing spirit for all who enter. What an amazing suprise! Such a sophisticated restaurant in a hide-a-away type location. Secreted in an subterranean grotto beneath a bowling ally! An atmosphere absorbs you, where the aesthetics are gracious without being obsequious or pompous. Stefano's is an epicurean delight! Elegant fine dining with a feeling of prepubescent magical wonderment.

My experience was wonderful, from the hostess to my dinner was outstanding, our waitress was excellent she gave us time to look at the drink menu also when we were ready to order she was great and helpful, I highly recommend this place to everyone.

I've never been to Stefano's, all my years living in West Virginia/Morgantown I had never visited this restaurant. Upon finding out there was a new executive head chef, I decided to bite the bullet and give it a try. I was NOT disappointed. Chef Meyers cooked an absolutely perfect filet, seasoned with a bourbon dry rub. Hands down one of the most amazing steaks I have ever eaten. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the wait staff was funny and friendly, but most importantly, the food was INCREDIBLE. I will be dining at Stefano's more in the future.

First time there to celebrate my birthday. An amazing place. Really nice atmosphere. Pleasantly greeted by all staff. Menu so unique and outstanding. Hard to choose dinner selections. Took time savoring each bite. Never felt rushed. Looking forward to coming back.

Had an amazing dinner here! Probably the best sea bass I’ve ever eaten! My husband’s filet was nothing short of perfect. Our server Brian made the experience even better. He was professional, knowledgeable, prompt, and kind. Can’t wait to return!

Showed up early for reservation and seated right away. Meatball and crab appetizers were excellent. Our entrees were superb. The desserts we had; Carrot cake and Pecan ball were soooooo good. Our server was all over it with good service, very attentive without over doing it. A great experience of fine food dining. Will be back again on out next trip to Morgantown, for sure

The Chilean Sea Bass entree was the best I’ve had and I’ve had a lot of sea bass entree’s all over the world! It was perfectly prepared and excellent quality. The risotto accompaniment was light and lovely! The atmosphere last night was exciting with a holiday buzz in the air.

Waiter overheard us talking about a terrible movie and thought we were talking about the incorrect salad he brought out. Gave us free dessert over our protests. Food was delicious.

I'm positive this restaurant is in my top 3 favorite of all time. The service is top notch and will take time to explain the menu if needed. The atmosphere is quaint and somewhat upscale with low playing live music. My wife and I had a 5 course meal and everything that was had was simply fenominal not one flaw. The wines and drinks are superb as well. The prices are pricey but I guarantee it'll be well worth it a definite must to dine at.

My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time last night. We've been talking about coming here for a while, so I'm very glad that we finally went. We ordered 2 appetizers: THE meatball and the calamari with peppers and black garlic aioli. My husband doesn't eat seafood, so I had the calamari all to myself! It was cooked perfectly, and the sauce paired well with the squid. I had a tiny bite of the meatball, and that was also very good. For our entrees, I had the parmesan crusted snapper with blue crab and butternut squash risotto and shaved Brussels sprouts, and my husband chose the penne alla vodka with chicken. Again, the fish and chicken were cooked perfectly, and all of the seasonings were on point. The risotto was delicious and creamy. My husband loved his pasta also. We had a bottle of Scarzello Barolo 2007 with our meal, and it paired very well with everything we ordered. Although we were full from our meal, my husband decided to get vanilla ice cream coated with chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, and candied pecans. I couldn't resist having a couple of bites. It was also delicious. My only complaint, which is a very minor one and based on personal preference, is that the Brussels sprouts were steamed instead of roasted or fried. I love caramelized Brussels sprouts. As for the service, our waiter was very attentive, and we did not have to wait very long for each course. This is a wonderful restaurant with excellent food, and we will definitely be back!
