Best cup of coffee I've had in the state

Stopped in here on a recommendation for the burrito. Not a particularly friendly atmosphere we ordered sat down and waited and waited and waited. 15 minutes later our one burrito we ordered finally came. It was supposed to have bacon and it did not however it was very flavorful with the green chilies. however, $10 is a lot to pay for a burrito with no meat not worth the price Nor the service. Maybe it’s because we didn’t order coffee but we don’t drink coffee. Better to skip this place..

Ordered 2 cups of coffee, received them in coca cola paper cups. Very disappointing in presentation, and taste. Customer service was the only good side. Main entrance was closed so we had to walk through the back alley way that was not a pleasant smell.

Went here twice on our Roswell visit. A perfect little coffee shop, with great coffee, amazing breakfast sandwiches, and friendly employees. Definitely a must if you're in town!

Very cute little coffee shop. I had a great iced latte, and a turkey panini on sourdough. Food was really solid. Prices were good, and it was a neat little space to hang out in.

We came by a couple of times during the very busy weekend and managed to get a place to sit while we were there. Food and drinks were very good and very well priced. The atmosphere is super welcoming and seems to encourage a lot of community which is something that I love to see in a coffee shop. This place has been in the back of my mind for the past several years since I was here last, so I was happy to go back and escape the heat for a little while. I’d love to come back for live music some day, that would be tight!

Stopped in twice during the UFO festival. Really enjoyed their cold brew. Staff was super friendly and helpful. My kids loved the smoothies!

I have got to tell you, this is the best chai I have ever had and I’ve had many many chais in my life. They have cute little T-shirts and postcards and artwork for sale as well. You can get ice cream sandwich and some baked goods. Stopping and get something delicious. The staff was warm and welcoming and very accommodating.

Great coffee shop atmosphere! They have fun stuff on the schedule if you're looking to get out and socialize. Coffee is great, but my favorite is the spiced chai with a shot of espresso. There's a limited food selection but there are some tasty treats. I highly recommend checking the place out!

Nice shop. Cold brew was OK, my gf didn't enjoy her latte. I think the most notable thing about this cafe is how miserable the barista/ staff were. Very unwelcoming and moody, didn't even make eye contact. Stark contrast to everyone we met on our trip to NM! I'd go elsewhere for your morning joe.

Really nice place, the berry smoothy was really tasty, super big cup. Def good for the money. Nice music and the waiter and waitress are nice and not bad to look at either 😅😉

We stopped here before the UFO Museum opened. We were pleasantly surprised by the coffee and hot tea selection. It was neat, eclectic morning spot!

Instead of just remaking my drink and adding espresso like I wanted, they all tried my drink in the back when, I said it didn't taste like almond milk. Weird! And one guy saying u can't tell. I drink almond milk daily in my coffee. I think I know the difference.Im lactose intolerant. It's not just a preference. I'll just go to Dunkin next time I visit Roswell. We came back here cause we liked it b4 when we visited.

We stopped in for a quick breakfast and coffee before getting on the road. Big. Mistake. We waited roughly 40 minutes for the most disappointing breakfast burrito and breakfast scramble (eggs in a cup) I've ever had. The folks running the counter were playing on their phones and had no idea what was going on in the kitchen. Fun alien decor though.

This place is absolutely amazing. Friendly service absolutely top notch. My favorite thing about this place is the frozen chocolate. Tried a few things like the BLTs they're good also.Plus they're karaoke nights are an absolute blast. This place is a must visit for tourists and a regular occasion for locals .

This is THE coffee and tea place in Roswell. Downtown, plenty of space, just a little alien kitsch,, which is required on that block. Parking in the rear makes the visit even easier.

Great coffee shop! There were a lot of good drink and food options, and the staff were friendly. My husband got a croissant breakfast sandwich and he really enjoyed it. I got the breakfast burrito and it was very good. Great coffee shop overall, good prices and nice atmosphere!

Great unsweetened matcha. The espresso was perfect. Lots of loose leaf tea to choose from. If we lived in Roswell it would definitely be our daily hangout. Nice outdoor seating outside.

Delicious latte special (black bear) and green chile scone. Nice to sit on a Saturday morning and catch up the travel journal. Thanks for a great stop.

Mexican latte was delicious! Staff was very friendly. Breakfast looked yummy, but we already ate, so settled for a blueberry scone that hit the spot.

Stopped and parked. Our fifth wheel in front of the coffee shop went in for a great breakfast menu burrito, Panini terrific Matcha and coffee. Great atmosphere good service. Definitely would stop here again when passing through Roswell.

Very good coffee shop, The staff is great and drinks are very good. We had a couple Earl grey cookies, but we both couldn't taste any Earl Grey. They just tasted like normal sugar cookies. Otherwise great place to hang out.

My Americano and my chocolate peanut butter seed protein bar were an excellent pick-me-up in the afternoon. The atmosphere is really "chill," with a great music selection, tall ceilings, multiple rooms, and art. They have a nice beverage and food selection, and the service was friendly and quick. There is parking along Main Street AND in the back as well. I'll be back! UPDATE: I WENT BAAAAAAAAACK and I AM TOTALLY in LOVE with this place AND the PEOPLE. The owner and the staff are SO friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere of the Cafe is so cozy. Their music selections are wonderful: I heard a lot of Led Zeppelin today 😃. The chocolate peanut butter protein bar and my Americano with a shot of sugar free caramel and cream were absolutely delicious, too! This is A GREAT store in Roswell and will be my go-to hangout with my awesome friends. ❤️ 💙 STELLAR IS STELLAR! ALSO, they have extended seating areas both in the cozy hallway and their back room, so you don't have to feel cramped. Just pick out your favorite space and sit there. Lots of artwork is on the walls now, too, as they highlight local artists and also local school students' work!

Pleasant service, yummy cappuccino, and the most organized burrito I've ever had :) It was delicious.

We stopped in for hot cocoa, tea, and a steamer while checking out various alien-themed attractions in the area, and the drinks were delicious. We played a round of Clue while warming up a bit inside. The atmosphere here is great, and the staff was so kind. I will definitely visit again next time I am in town.

Staff was so nice the snickerdoodle latte was sooo tasty! The espresso was to die for and had such good flavor! The blueberry scone came out so warm and was absolutely amazing 😍

Atmosphere: We walked in and it seemed dark, dreary and outdated. Really uninviting. Definitely needs a full revamp to bring it up to the standard of today’s cafes. Drinks: We ordered a peppermint mocha and a drip coffee. The peppermint mocha was good, but the drip coffee tasted really bad. Service: The service was disjointed, the staff were friendly and courteous but seemed a little confused and served the people who ordered after us first.

I really love this local Roswell coffee shop. They had fresh coffee, even late in the day. The service was exceptional. Highly recommends. Baristas are knowledgeable and they have a variety of single origin coffees.

Fabulous local coffee shop with good coffee and tea options - not to mention delicious scones! We were there to meet up with friends, but it is also a great place for other options - solo, couples, and so forth. The additional seating in the back widens the opportunities, and the front patio is great in nice weather.

Had an awesome time at Stellar Coffee. We enjoyed the warm mocha and cappuccino coffee along with delicious Earl Grey buttery cookies! The overall feel of the place was very soothing, with soft music in the background. We spent about an hour there even after finishing our food and had a stellar time!

Bit of a late review but unfortunately Stellar Coffee sits in my memory for the wrong reasons. I have never seen that level of poor customer service until I stepped into Stellar Coffee. I've not forgotten the way myself and another party member were treated, it really didn't sit right. A very simple order of scrambled eggs on a bagel somehow ended up being too hard to understand and became a cup of cold scrambled eggs. Almost like a comedy sketch. When my fiancé, rightly went to ask if this could be rectified in a polite manner. However the guy behind the counter arrived 3 minutes later ... walking directly over to our table (cup in hand) and asked if we wanted the cup of cold eggs or not. My fiancé was polite and didn't want to risk bodily fluid being added to her food and accepted it to avoid the Hassel in a foreign environment. Which was unbelievably restrained given the sheer disrespect by your staff. I visited Roswell from the UK and have lived in London for a long time. I've seen some wild service but never have I ever seen a waiter holding a cup of cold eggs like they have the moral high ground. No I don't want a cup of cold eggs for $8. Delusional! Honestly no wonder the aliens crashed here! Shook by the poor customer service

I’ve been coming here a lot recently since the food and everything is so good! But the reason I give it a 4 stars is because I’ve been having to wait almost everytime 30- 40 minutes just to get the food I ordered😕

I like the atmosphere a lot, and the people treated us nicely. But I have to be honest, the Kenyan coffee wasn’t great. What was supposed to be a medium bodied coffee was strong, and too acidic. Maybe it was a one off unusual thing, but if not, I feel it needs attention, and correction. I do wish them the very best.

It was really slow getting our food, and the restaurant was not that busy. Previously, it hasn't been an issue, but this day, it was a problem.

Grabbed coffee and food here twice this week and it was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere in here is so relaxing and it’s such a cute little spot. Wish we had a place like this back home! 11/10 recommend!

Love this coffee house! I love the themed alien/space drinks. There are board games & themed events. The staff are also very nice! The alien soda is refreshing. The Spock Special is a nice & creamy. The Martian Sunrise is sweet yet sour. Love the drinks!

Fully support local businesses! Was passing through from Texas and got the Spock special, and Coconut oasis specials. The coffee was “out of this world”. Cheesy joke but I had to. Nonetheless, the atmosphere, customer service, and the coffee was excellent. Will def return someday in the future!

AMAZING! We were visiting Roswell and stopped by for Breakfast, ate there both days we stayed in town! AN AWESOME cup of Extraterrestrial Coffee!! Highly recommended you stop by, grab a bite and some coffee!

Great old school coffee shop in a vibrant (if kitschy) downtown. Great vegetarian lunch options. Tea selection is amazing and iced coffee is STRONG. If I lived in Roswell, this would be my regular. I stop here every time I’m on US 285.

Incredibly friendly staff! Delicious drinks, and sincere care taken to make them well. It’s a cute place, the atmosphere could be a little brighter and cozier, but loved the music and all the wood tables. Very chill and community-oriented.

This place was amazing. I was so excited they allowed dogs in the coffee shop! The atmosphere has a peaceful, laid-back vibe. The food was seriously unmatched. I chose the orange scone. Omg it was fluffy and had a great taste. I tasted other options, and they were all fantastic. My husband's scone had bacon it in and was covered in honey- soooo good. Can't wait to come back!

Took very long for me and my mom to get our açaí bowls and the mangonada smoothie tea just for them to taste watery.

Stopped in for coffee and early lunch. Several vegetarian options! We had a breast sandwich and the Mediterranean flatbread. Both were great! Iced lattes were pretty good, too. They had oat and almond milk. Wi-Fi worked well. Service was kind and quick!

We went here for a coffee and a snack, and I ended up getting a blended caramel coffee. I can’t remember the name they used, but think Frappuccino. I also had one of their green Chile sandwiches. Everything was delicious. The sandwich was a bit small for the price, but still very good. Would recommend to come here.

Really cool atmosphere! It was a little short staffed, but they were super polite and very knowledgeable. Stellar has games inside to play while you wait or just to enjoy the music too. Some fun souvenirs and great tasting coffee!

The people who work here are very kind. The coffee and the muffin I had were very very sweet, and I actually like sweet things. I didn't try too many other things here, but it's quite eclectic inside and fits with the UFO type theme. I did see that they allowed a dog inside, and they have an outdoor seating area.

I’m not sure if they changed this but I was there three months ago. I can’t get out of my mind how someone altered the “employees must wash hands” signs to “employees should wash their hands”. If the employees don’t know if that they have to wash their hands after using the toilet and why, I am concerned about their training.
