The beer is mid, but it has so many weirdos

Flights up to 10! Well laid out menu by beer type/flavor profile. Liked every beer we tried.

You simply can't go wrong. The only thing better than the beer (which is amazing) is the staff.

Good brewery! The tap list is extensive, the vibe is funky, and the beer is good. The location itself is kind of boring and just outside of the hip and happening spots, but there is ample parking and that’s the reason I chose this location over the Scott’s Addition one. Plenty of seating options with outdoor seating, spots in front, and seats in back for live music. The giant pretzel was a smidge dry, but that didn't take away from the overall enjoyment of it..for $8 it’s definitely worth the price. They’ll do up to ten samples at one time so there’s plenty of ways to find the beer you like. You can also get a 5oz, 13oz, or 20oz of any beer. Come check it out!

We had a party for approximately 60 people at Strangeways on Dabney Road in May 2024. Our event was comfortable, affordable and fun. We were able to have a food truck and were given advance access to the space to decorate. We found the staff flexible and accomodating when unforeseen situations came up, as they often do. Highly recommend!

We had a grad party here last week, and we were taking great care of by Antonio and Haley on staff. Amazing time, great service, we definitely will be giving strangeways more business.

Great things to say here. One of my top breweries in Richmond - the other being The Answer. Enjoyed what I had and their unique flavors. Also really enjoyed this location a bit more than the other one.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Antonio and his team at Strangeways. After being unexpectedly ghosted by another venue, we had to quickly shift our wedding reception to Strangeways. They made the transition seamless from the start. Antonio was constantly in touch, keeping us updated and even offering a backup plan to host our ceremony onsite in case of rain. The event room was stunning, and the entire team was a pleasure to work with. We are thrilled with how everything turned out and deeply appreciate the effort Strangeways put in to make our day special. A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved!

Tried to go there on a Saturday at 830pm, after Ric Today said they had an event going on until 10pm. Well, place was shut down when we got there.

Awesome customer service! They have a great selection of craft beers and are always adding new ones! They also host new events each week so I would highly suggest you come and check them out!

Fantastic place! The glitter Barbie beer was such a cute touch. We were attending the Burlesque Right Meow show and we had the best time. The bartender is a Phish-head and the playlist was a super fun Dirty Dozen Brass Band mix. Their branded merch is also so cute. I bought two stickers.

Great beer! Decent size space to rent for a gathering. Quaint space if just going with a few friends. Outdoor seating at picnic tables available when it's nice outside. Staff is knowledgeable about beer. Food trucks (I think) are there on the weekends but no food available otherwise. Can bring it in yourself though.

Great Friday Night Fever! dance. Enjoyed a beer flight as well.

Off the beaten path, great selection of beers! When you first enter it looks like a typical small bar but they also have a large seating area in the brewing area with a stage! Only downside was that they stated they had karaoke available but when we arrived we needed a compatible phone to use their system (none were compatible).

Favorite brewery in Richmond! Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. They have a ton of taps and have a beer to fit every taste imaginable!

Great beer here and great service. I love the atmosphere and they are dog friendly. The only improvement would be good.

Broad selection that guarantees something for everyone in a group. All of the sours I tried were excellent! The pretzel bites with honey mustard were also very good!

The sours are delish, service warm and friendly, and it's always a blast at Pours and Pasties.

I’m a huge fan of sours, so I was really excited the try this place out. Absolutely delicious. The Sour Cherry Cobbler was out of this world! They use a base Berliner Weisse and mix in different flavored syrups to create their sours. 100% recommend!

Chill atmosphere, cool bartenders. Tried a couple porters and a couple sours and greatly enjoyed them all.

Attended a real estate event held here. Space was accommodating, beers were very good, and quickly poured. Bar staff friendly and helpful. Wide/deep selection, but I only had sours. "What the astronauts drink", and some flavored (Lucky Charm and Smuckers). All enjoyed equally, highly recommend. Easy to get to, plenty of parking, food truck Arroz was outside and the steak bowl I had was great!

Great drinks, but I find a 32 oz beer for $9 to be a little bit expensive. I'd pay more like six or seven dollars.

Craft Brewery has come a long way since my first visit several years ago. They had just recently opened that first time, and they were still breaking the place in. Made a special trip there today to pick up "Peanut Butter Puffs, released just two days ago. The brewery is broken in now and it's a comfortable spot to sit down and have a beer. The staff was friendly and helpful. They make it the type of place you want to go back to. ** A year later. They keep growing and the beer keeps getting better.

I love their sour beers. They have a good variety of unique beers that you went find at normal breweries. From IPAs, Lagers, to Sours and Sourish Gosé drinks. It's a nice place. They also have beers you can buy to take home.

The OG in the RVA for sours, wilds, malties & all that funky stuff. And they've got very drinkable beer! A great vibe with eclectic art & merchandise to go with great brewing....love these guys! So glad to be back in the RVA with true one of a kind experience!

Kinda disappointing overall, beer and vibe, website sold it better than reality

I was here for a wedding, as it turns out they have event space. The drinks on tap were great. Everyone was raving about the one called Lucky Charms. We were able to eat, dance, and drink the night away!

Water tastes great at the brewery which is a good sign.

The people were very knowledgeable when we asked about drinks. I We went to an event and really enjoyed it. I'd go back, more likely in the warmer weather, to enjoy being outdoors.

Always great beer and last night great comedy from Eliza Skinner and her openers.

Really cool place outside of downtown Richmond. I stopped by while on a visit from Delaware. Plenty of room to enjoy a beer. I had a flight because of the wide variety of options. The best of the bunch was the gingerbread Pumpkin Imperial Porter. It was very tasty!

Great music playlist and selection of beer, seltzer and wine.

The beer was good. Would definitely go back again.
