We were traveling across the country and stayed one night in St. Charles, MO & came about this place. When MO, you really need to check out this BBQ place! My husband can’t stop talking about the brisket and ribs! It was the BEST he’s ever had. He’s a big BBQ guy too! The Mac & cheese was a little lacking in taste and texture but I truly enjoyed the pulled pork, collard greens and corn bread a lot! The honey butter was amazing! The food, ambience and staff was very professional and friendly. Oh, forgot to mentioned that the Chef was on Beat Bobby Flat food network. We would definitely recommend this place! Maybe they’ll consider to come to Sandy, Oregon (wink, wink)!

I actually love sugar fire food but I recently came to purchase brisket & rib combo & was told it was $2 up charge so it was another special that was a few $$ more than the choice I made I thought the two meats & 3 sides didn't have the $3 up choice on it are I wouldn't have picked that because it was more money & a up choice so how was that a better option because I didn't need the extra side & I actually hate complaining but since you're giving me choice to write about my experience could anyone make it make sense to me thank you

Visiting a friend in the Lou who recommended this bbq spot. Order the brisket and rib 2 meat combo. Meats were on point. Choice of sauces and sodas were different and great! One small thing I'd suggest is serve the cornbread warm. Oven warm cornbread is the best! Definitely try this place for great bbq and unique sides and sauces.

I highly recommend this joint for a quality meal for a reasonable price. I tried their brisket and smoked turkey combo, which had vegetables and corn bread. Everything was right on point! I had a piece of ribs from my friend, and it was juicy and flavorful! Two 👍🏾 👍🏾 up!

It is one of the best BBQ places in St. Louis. Meats are juicy and definitely delicious. Sides have big portions and many choices, and they are delicious too. Free drinks with purchase. This the BBQ spot that convinced my girlfriend that BBQ can be so good. The food was so clean, delicious, and perfectly smoked. We were so full after trying the two meat combos, getting to try almost everything on the menu. A really satisfied full that comes from quality food. It was hard to pick a favorite, with the ribs and smoked turkey being some of the best! The staff are real pros who will help you out as well.

Preodered six brisket balls and what we received was a slap in the face. We had been waiting to pick these up on our trip to St Louis and was very disappointed. There was not one brisket ball that had a respectable size or amount of brisket. This was NOTHING like what we had previously that caused us to be so excited that we would put in a special order. On the positive side the taste was not bad but it was nearly impossible to spot brisket by eye or by taste.

Got 1\2 rack of ribs, one end was cooked to jerky consistency. Rest of 1\2 rack were overdone, not moist with that pull off bone texture.Got sick to stomach. Won't get these again. Sides were very good. Baked beans & hash brown casserole. Overall not sure if I will return or reccommend. At the price I expect better!!! Waste of money.

Very good as always. Interesting decor and atmosphere. Brought out-of-towners. Crowded as usual but didnt stand in line but for a few minutes to order at the counter. Fast service with tray with butcher paper as plates. Great smoked meat variety incl ribs if not sold out along with three different BBQ sauces. Love the white sauce. Multiple choices of sides and three kinds of delicious pies. Get your own drinks. Some shared seating on long tables. Outside dining too. Beer available. Always good eating!

A St. Louis staple for all things BBQ. Placed a bulk meat pick up order for Easter Sunday. Brisket, burnt ends, pulled pork and jalapeño cheddar sausage is our go to. Always a crowd favorite. They do a great job guiding you how much to order for the size gathering you’re having. Options to add plates/silverware if needed. St. Louis continues to prove it’s the BBQ capital with great places light Sugarfire. Few things are more delicious than the basics when it comes to BBQ and the pulled pork does not disappoint. What sets sugarfire apart is not just great meats, but the sides - pit beans, baked beans, potato salad and even the fried green beans that I tried for the first time today. The pies are sooo good they opened a store next store where you can buy them whole.

Sugarfire is best BBQ place in STL. Its expensive and self service place and it is disappointing for me as they discontinued their chicken sandwich and not a lot of other options apart from BBQ. My husband enjoyed them but said it was pricy.

I really enjoyed this place. The brisket was perfectly cooked and delicious. The pulled pork could have used a little more flavor but the barbecue sauce took care of that. The sausage was amazing. The turkey was some of the best I've ever tasted and the baked beans were divine. The potatoes were a little undercooked for my personal taste, but the flavor was good. Service was fast and professional. Overall it was a great experience and I'll look forward to going again.

I don't know how they stay in business. Got a brisket sandwich and some french fries a third of the brisket was fat. I know, brisket supposed to be fatty but not that fatty, the fries, they said they were gonna cook fresh, which they did. Unfortunately the oil was not. The Bun is very flimsy they need a more substantial bun if they ever get the brisket right.

Visiting here and was recommended this place. I tried the brisket cheesesteak, and whatever soup/chowder. The soup was really damn good, i could have had a big bowl of it. The cheesesteak wasn't so hot. The onions and peppers tasted really good, however the "nacho" cheese sauce does not belong on this sandwich. Completely ruined it for me. Next visit I'll stick with the meats alone and not get fancy. Overall this place is a solid 4.5 and i will definitely be coming back!.

I ordered ribs, pull pork in Sugarfire Smoke Olivette location today. The food is good. But it is terrible, there were two glass pieces in the pull pork when my mother-in-law ate the pull pork. My mother-in-law 's mouth was hurt by the glass pieces. When I picked up the glass pieces to check what are these, the glass pieces hurt my finger too. It is not safe to eat these meats even though the food tasted good. This restaurant should not mix the dangerous glass pieces into the food, they should prepare the food more carefully.

Worst possible location of the brand. I frequent the one by the arch, st. Charles, and our favorite location in Washington....This place is terrible. I was eager with the line that had formed outside prior to doors opening. The customer service line flow was good....A ton of delivery and pickup orders that never seemed to stop. The problem being the food itself was awful. Nothing like what the chain represents and prides itself on. I really cannot fathom why they had such amazing business bustling about when they food quality was so far beneath the Sugar Fire standard. Burnt a dry meat. Limited side selection. Out of brisket, turkey, and chicken in the first 22minutes of opening. Just an overall sad experience.

Sugarfire has traditionally provided exceptional BBQ, sauces, sides, and personality. However, in recent visits, even when not busy, I feel that they seem to have lost their spark. Today, when I arrived at the counter to order, the server just stared at me. Absent were the usual pleasantries such as 'Welcome, what would you like'. Just a blank stare. While checking out, it seemed that there was a lot of fun conversation amongst the staff and no focus on the only customer in line at the time. While their selection of sauces remains 2nd to none, my brisket was overcooked and dry. Sadly, this experience is similar to those of my last 3 or 4 visits.

We visit this amazing BBQ spot every time we come in from out of state. Called them on Xmas Eve to make sure they were open, and they said “absolutely.” Went in at 1:15pm. Fortunately, they seem busy (great for their business). We were promptly told that “they are only serving delivery orders - we are not allowed to sit inside, but we can order and eat outside.” We walk up to the menu, and one of the cooks yells at us, “did you guys walk in that door, because we are closed!” [This is while they are literally making a full line of multiple orders right in front of us] Another cook says, “no problem, guys, we can help you.” As we look over the menu, another cook shouts aloud, “we don’t have any sides for them.” [This is while they are literally making a full line of multiple orders right in front of us] We feel rather uncomfortable and unwelcome, decided to leave, and then spend our $90 for takeout lunch somewhere else.
