I can't say enough positive things about Sullivans. Food is always amazing, the staff are so kind and make you feel right at home. The owners are the nicest and most genuine people who care and give back to their community. Sullivans will always be my #1 Irish pub.

Best Guinness in Detroit, the food is absolutely amazing it's always a hard pick between the Sullivan burger and the Ruben both are always on point any day of the week. Always recommend the beer cheese dip and pretzels as well as the cheese cake. The owners and all the staff are always friendly and happy to greet you with smiling faces. Worth the drive if you're seeing a show at DTE.

The cold Irish beer on tap. The laughter, smiles, and welcoming atmosphere makes this place one of my favorite local haunts. I'm big fan on Smithwicks on tap and Sullivans always has a good supply. The authentic Irish food is also a big draw for me. Whether it's the bangers and mash with the creamy smooth mash potatoes, the shepards pie, true irish bacon and cabbage. or even a burger, the food never disappoints. You'll always feel welcome at Sullivans.

Ordered creme brulee for pick up. It looked like slop which they dumped upside down into a bowl & no berries as pictured. The manager was very rude and said ‘ that's how we do take out’ and also shorted me on my refund. Will NOT be back. Its too bad as in the past the food has been good.

Great staff and atmosphere. I always get a Red Breast and/or a Kilkenny beer when I’m there.

We went here on a recommendation,The wait staff was friendly ,service was fast.The food was not good.We ordered the corned beef rolls .The corned beef was tough and chewy,did not taste fresh.My husband ordered the fish and chips, They were over battered and greasy.The fish inside was mushy not flaky.Two small pieces.Coleslaw was tasteless.I ordered the sweet potatoes chips with pulled porked ,white cheddar cheese ,sour cream and green onions,appetizer. The pork was tasteless and dry. The chips were tasty, I also tried a cup of leek soup, it was salty.The meal was a disaster. We left hungry, not because portions were small,but it really was not worth eating and filling up on fries and chips. It cost $55 dollars. Not including tip. We were expecting better.Also not a great place for disabled persons,the lower level is very low capacity,if you can't get seated there,you have to climb a full flight of stairs to be seated upstairs.

Holy Moly - IRISH EGG ROLLS!!!????**** Freaking unbelievable. I mean the other food was great, and the beer is cold (as it should be)... but wowzer,,, you gotta go try those tasty Egg Rolls. WOW!

This is my most favorite pub in Michigan, so hospitable, the staff is so friendly and welcoming! The Bangers & Mash and Shepherds Pie are to die for!! Enjoy!!

Such a fun place! The staff is always happy and fun to talk to! Live music is great, my hubs loves the smoked old fashioned, a must try! Grab some potato leek soup, you won’t be disappointed you stopped at this quaint little Irish pub!

Met a friend there for a car show in town. I ended up having a sandwich for dinner. Which they were so helpful in modifying the sandwich for me.

Their mac and cheese for kids is SOOO good! Everything we've eaten here, especially the fish tacos and Shepherds pie has been outstanding. The service has been wonderful too, especially with two little ones. I wish they had a bit more space for larger family's but this is a great restaurant.

If you have to wait it's well worth it! Authentic Irish grub you can't miss with Shepard's pie, Bangers mash and the Irish layered crisps are favorites with my group. A real family gathering place. Beautiful setting in downtown Oxford. Highly recommend!

Good food, good prices, really cool vibe. Unique things that you can’t get at any other place around here. Huge downside though….Toilet paper in the bathroom upstairs was spun around the wrong way so that it was pulled from the back instead of the front… Just kidding nothing bad to say at all, I would recommend 100%. 😉

My sister and her boyfriend took me here for dinner since they knew I liked Irish pubs. This place is pretty cool. There are two eating areas on the main floor: the bar area and the backroom. But, there's also a place upstairs. We had a drink near the bar, while we waited for our table. The place was quite busy. When our table was ready, we were seated in the backroom. The area did get a bit chilly at times, whenever the door would open. Beer: Smithwick's and Bell's Two Hearted Ale For dinner, they recommended the fish and chips. The fish was crispy on the outside and flakey on the inside. Plus the fries were really good. Quite addicting! Overall, it's such a great place to eat and I cannot wait to try the rest of the food. The mac and cheese sounded really good too!

Great atmosphere, excellent food

Entered and sat in rear so I can't speak to the atmosphere cuz there wasn't much back there. Everyone at the table loved their food. Shepherd's pie, fish and chips, bangers and mash. Definitely going back and taking others.

I usually come here on the weekends, I have never had Jeff as a bartender before, what a great young man! Sullivans has the best white cosmos in town.

Great pub, wonderful atmosphere!

We decided to try this place because the reviews are phenomenal. Sadly, I don’t think it lived up to the hype! We had a reservation for a group of 4. We ordered the pretzels which were pretty good. (Probably our favorite part of the entire meal) I personally ordered the Irish Dip. It tasted good, but portion size wasnt great. The fries I was served seemed like the bottom of the bag with some crispy little fries and some that were not fully cooked. We ordered the crème brûlée and pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. The crème brûlée was terrible—not very dense. Just kind of tasted like vanilla pudding. The cheesecake was okay. I was super unimpressed and I was looking forward to trying this place. Maybe I will try it on a weekday when its less busy.

One dinner was cold, Brats and mashed potatoes sucked, burger was good, fries were good. We don't send food back when things go wrong and nothing else comes to our table after that.

Finally tried this place out. Food and service was really good.

Great fish and chips, large fillets, clean-no bones

Great place for authentic Irish food and Guinness. My husband ordered fish and chips and I ordered bacon and cabbage with mashed potatoes. Really tasty! Service with Jeff was great! Would’ve been a five star if you served my bacon and cabbage with a bit of bread—Like the Guinness brown bread we enjoyed at O’Donoghue‘s in Dublin. Let us know when you are serving it and will be back in a minute!

Kyle and his team are great, I’d say this is the best bar in town. The Irish food is excellent as well.

Waitress "fen" was great. My shepherds pie was 95% mashed tators. Why? Everyone else was happy with their food. Drinks were great.

The Irish layered chips is where it's at. Best version of nachos I've ever had. The pulled pork is the best tasting I've ever tried.

Our favorite local Irish pub. Best Irish whiskey and smoked old fashioned drinks. We love the ambience and vibe. The bartender on the weeknights Thursday is awesome. Very friendly and funny. The food is great to. The patio is great in the summer.

Been here several times and this is one of my absolute favorite restaurants. I love the Irish Layered Crisps and the Baileys Cheesecake.

Still our favorite spot by far. Sullivan's has friendly staff, great fare at good prices, and decor & layout that make is feel right at home in our favorite pub, whether it's two at the bar, four at a table (or in the snug), or a big gathering in the hall upstairs. Can't be beat.

The food is actually really good but the service is ridiculously slow and while they say you can call in an order for take out, I've never gotten through.

We have been coming to Sullivan's since the day it opened. I had rated this place 5 stars in the past, however since our last visit last weekend with a group of us, sadly I have to rate this place -1 star. The service was very poor as it took 2 hours to get our meals. When it came, the portions were small, and the food was terrible. Our waitress could not even get our bills right. Again this very rare for me to rate places poorly, but they need change back to the past.

My burger was overcooked and the staff seemed slightly uninterested. Nothing terrible, but not really good either.

Our local favorite Irish pub. The staff is super awesome and very friendly. The beers are cold and the food is good They have a nice bar downstairs with a few tables. The upstairs can be rented for events and they are excellent hosts. Great beer selection of craft, domestic, and imported from Ireland and Scotland. Really good and unique cocktails, but they can make any classic cocktail as well. Salads and appetizers are excellent as always. Highly recommended.

Was after 9:00 pm. No food, so we had a beer and chips. Chips were home made and barbecue. Wish they had chip dip. Have ate dinner here before, excellent food and friendly staff. I am impressed that management took the time to respond to my review. I have updated my stars to Five. I will be back for dinner again.

Great food and great atmosphere. The atte tion to detail in the place is amazing. We had the chicken pot pie and the shepherd's pie. Both were amazing. Portions are normal people size so feel free to get an appetizer too.

Generous portion sizes and great service! Loved the look and feel of this quaint little pub in downtown Oxford. Was a little turned off by being nickel-and-dimed over an additional tartar sauce cup for their humungous Fish & Chips. Unfortunately, the flavor of our entrees and appetizer were lacking in our opinion - but, many other reviews seem to differ our opinion.

Nice Irish pub, authentic menu, great beer selection, nice clientele and excellent service. The Lads were a bit salty, but we will definitely be going back. The only recommendation that it could have been darker inside, lol. Can't wait to go back.

Wonderful discovery for a Saturday dinner! Enjoyed talking with the owner Jerry and lovely waitress was the very best. My husband is still talking about the fish & chips and the chicken pot pie was the best. Will highly recommend to family and friends.

Outstanding!!!!!! The salmon? Divine. The white cosmo? Superb. The service? Low key and relaxed. The upstairs is so cozy, furnished with historical pics and original hardwood. The manager even treated us to a smoked old fashioned (smelled like a campfire). We had a blast and will definitely be back!
