I've been ordering for three years from this establishment all have been good but these last two. I added my concerns from my last order because I didn't get what I ordered. I called tonight because my order was the exact same and all i got was excuses and saying that it the large. I ordered a large and now twice got the regular. so I'm paying $15 more for the larger and getting the exact same as a regular size. Nothing extra for my wasted $15. I highly recommend if you want what your paying for do not order from here. I'm beyond upset with customer service making me feel like it's my fault they over charged me twice for their issues. I'll be posting in more places.

Great Homestyle Korean Restaurant. Had a delicious meal.

I've only ever ordered delivery from here but this is my go to spot for amazing Korean food. A bit pricey but totally worth it. Thank you for never missing the mark ❤️

I ordered Tteokbokki and Bulgolgi Kimbap. The kimbap was ok, but the tteokbokki was flavorless and watery. Very disappointed with it considering the price. I have had good here before and it’s always been great. Idk if it’s becuase it was a takeaway order and maybe they rushed it but it was not good I’m sorry to say.

Authentic as it can get, I would eat their Kimbap every day if I could. Fresh and delicious, their table offerings are spectacularly handmade and ready to be refilled at no cost. You're missing out if you don't stop by.

Displeased with the small portion for a $25 rice cake and friend dumplings meal. Over priced for such a small portion that left me hungry.

BiBimBap and BulGoGi in Dol-sot was delicious

We used to love this restaurant when we lived nearby , they had amazing bibimbap that was generous with the meats and veggies and affordable at 12.99 for the chicken option . We also loved their seafood Korean pancakes that were 13.99 and full of seafood. We went back recently and found the prices went up by 50% or more ! On the plus side , the wait was short and the staff friendly. Now the food … maybe my expectations were too high with my previous experience here and with the huge price increases … The shrimp on the bipimbap were very small, (salad size) and had just 5 shrimp ! The chicken one was a bit better with roughly 1/2 breast . The pancake had barely any seafood in it! In total we spent $87 on two apps and 2 bipimbaps ! We did have a little leftovers but did not think the value was there anymore.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE WITH CAVIAR!! it is apparently a scam, it will collect your money and send you a confirmation for your order and when you get to the restaurant they’ll have no idea what you’re talking about, inform you it’s a scam and you’ll need to repurchase your meal. save yourself and your pockets. spent $50 on 2 apps 😩

Small location with dates decor. Food was delicious but small complaint was our stone bowl bibimbap was way too hot and most our rice was burnt. Selection for complimentary small dishes was small. Service was good. Would return.

Best Korean Restaurant! Taste is so authentic and very delicious. We had couple of dishes, seafood pancake, seafood suntofu, soybean stew and bibimbap. It’s tastes like same as a seoul flavor. I strongly recommend Sun & Mun Korean Restaurant!

Food was banging, it was so good the first time I brought friends the next time I went. Service was friendly and attentive, atmosphere is cozy and clean.The owner came out to check on us ( he is so kind). Food was amazing highly recommend. Try the black berry wine.

AMAZING KOREAN FOOD. NOT AUTHENTIC AT ALL! JUST PURE GENUINE DELICIOUS SAVORY K-DINING. The owners were super nice and kind, not to mention the staff were very generous as well. The interior gives off a homely setting, and it felt like I was eating with my family back at home again. Would highly recommend this place to my fellow Koreans/K-dining enjoyers.

most authentic korean restaurant you'll ever find... as a korean myself, i came in here with expectations, and the food very much exceeded them. had the budae jjigae today and the taste was absolutely spot on – just what i was looking for and needed. the restaurant atmosphere's homey, the owners are friendly/welcoming, the food's amazing, can't ask for anything better.

Ordered tuna gimbap appetizer and kalbitang main. The gimbap was not too strong, but not too weak on flavor; it just met expectations. The kalbitang however was underwhelming in flavor, could have added more seasoning, because the bone broth tasted like a diluted/watered down bone broth with a hint of salt and pepper, otherwise there are 2 large chunks of meat that fall right off the bones very easily and was somewhat tender. And in traditional Korean fashion, you are served with free side dishes, im not sure if the side dishes change from day to day, but in my case I was served with seasoned bean sprouts, kimchi (of course, but it tasted like the “fresh/unfermented” kimchi) and marinaded cucumbers. Overall, this place is average, I’d give it 3.5 stars for food, service, and atmosphere (I like small and compact pocket places like this). Side note: I’m from the west coast born and raised where 1/3 of the city population is korean and I go to SK for 1 month every year so I know how everything is supposed to taste.

Hidden gem of a Korean restaurant. The storefront is unsuspecting, but once you order and start eating, then know why the reviews for this place is excellent. Did not disappoint and will be going back.

This is our owner doctor's favorite Korean restaurant in the Providence area, despite other "fancier" and more trendy and expensive ones downtown. Nice staff and great serving size. As another business in the area, we highly recommend this place!

The only place around Providence that offers traditional straight up Korean cuisine, none of the fusion stuff that seems to be prevalent in the area. Everyone is very kind and food arrives in a timely manner! Free sides include pickled cucumber, kimchi and beansprout banchan. Appetizers are a little pricey for the amount you get but the mains are tasty and very much worth it.

This is a homey, family vibe Korean restaurant, with enticing aromas as soon you enter. Great food! Bibimbop, bulgoki, and the like. Wonderful short-ribs. Service is ultra friendly, and food is amazing.

i liked the pomegranate soju to start and the black bean mochi to finish. The tempura is nice and light, the sauces are also good. menu is very authentic. Kinda of pricey considering this place has zero ambience at least in the middle room where we ended up. makes my dental office feel homey. Service good and food was fast and hot.

Good food, great service, great atmosphere. I went with my brother, SIL, and 2 year old niece. The staff were kind and attentive, the food was good, though my bulgolgi could have been hotter, and, most importantly, it almost felt as though we were at a family dinner table.

Food was really good. Had the pork belly and spicy squid, squid could have been spicier but I'm nit picking.

Ordered delivery bibimbap with bulgogi and kimchee Chigimi (pancake). Both were pretty good for delivery. Can't speak to service or atmosphere but I liked the food. Would recommend!

I have been a patron of Sun & Moon both individually and with my family for almost two decades, and I have never had an experience less than stellar, be it dine in or take out. John and Sophia treat me like family, even if it’s been a while since I’ve been in to eat; their kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated. Growing up with regular access to authentic, home-cooked Korean cuisine, this is as close as you can get to the real thing. Eating at Sun & Moon really feels like visiting an extra set of grandparents! Recommendations: o jing uh Fried rice w/ bulgolgi japchae seafood pancake yukgaejang

Had Bulgogi with veg & rice and panned fried dumplings. Very tasty. Bulgari was not spicy enough

The owners of this place are very nice, friendly and attentive unfortunately their waiters are bad. Had lunch with a friend and we ordered 2 appetizers, 2 main dishes. Brought the appetizers, then only one main dish and we waited and waited for a dish that never came. Had to tell the owner because the waiter never came back. Finally they gave us what we had ordered. Food is nothing extraordinary neither in taste, presentation or quality of ingredients. Its plain, average. Veggie dumplings are good...but that's about it. Had a "bippin Bop " tofu was way too fried and stiff, not a good ratio/ balance between rice and veggies. Had like 5 cups of rice for 1 cup of veggies. Meat and rice dish was plain, expensive for several tiny pieces of meat and plain rice. I will be happy not to return.

Very small Korean restaurant with really good food the price of the menu was medium priced but I found the food to be very good and authentic can't go wrong if you're looking for Asian food here. Service was a bit slow

I would say that this is one of the best and most authentic Korean restaurants in Providence. I have been eating here semi regularly when I need something that hits close to home.

Food wasn't bad. Complimentary dishes as any Asian restaurant. The rolls were very good, bit the soups could use some extras inside. I had a tofu and vegetable soup but didn't have much vegetables. Luckily I had rice to go with it, cause otherwise it would have been a miss. Flavor is pretty good though

I love this place so much. I almost always get the pan fried veggie dumplings with balsamic, and the soondubu. The dumplings have a great texture and flavor which the acidity of the balsamic brings out. And the tofu soup has a mild but addictive flavor. I find the food here so comforting and delicious. The banchan at the beginning are also great- my favorites are the cucumber and kimchi. Love you to the Sun & Moon and back!

I have been here a few times... Food is always amazing there! Always extremely fresh and nice and hot! Prices are decent, as well. Love the little hole in the wall vibe. Would definitely recommend for anyone who loves traditional Korean food or for anyone just looking for a nice fresh meal.

This place is best Korean Restaurant in the State hands down. The Spicy Pork Belly and Crispy Squid is the best thing there. Get a side of white rice and ask for a side of hot sauce. Pour the hot sauce over the rice and add it to the Pork Belly and Squid and you have your self an amazing meal. I mean Amazing. You will find yourself back here just to get it, often! Love Sun and Moon. Nice people too. Sweet, caring, hard working and preparing delicious Korean Food Too!!! What's not to love ! ❤️ See you soon Sun and Moon! And let's not forget the Kimchi. Ridiculous good!

We found this place online and decided to give it a try. The dishes were spot on for food but did not have the seasoning we expected, unfortunately. We started with the Pork Pot Stickers which we found as the best item we had all night along with a Bean Sprout Soup which warmed us up. For dinner, I had the BiBimBap with Spicy Pork which had all the ingredients in good delivery. However, there was NOTHING spicy about the few pieces of pork in the dish and I had to add spicy sauce to liven it up. My husband had the Korean BBQ which again, had all the right ingredients, but none of the spices we were expecting. Unfortunately, this was probably another case of blanding everything down since most people can not handle any seasoning whatsoever. Oh well.

Out of towners from NJ visiting Providence for few days in need of some Korean food excited to run into Sun & Moon Korean Restaurant. One can find Korean Fried Chicken often but we needed rich, spicy Korean stews to warm us up. Sun & Moon hit the spot. Definitely worth a visit!

I was just having one of those days, had to skip breakfast, feeling miserable, so I headed right over to Sun & Moon. Sitting here now, enjoying my favorite soon tofu. All the food is like a warm hug. I genuinely feel so much happier after eating here. Been coming for probably 15 years at least. I remember when they opened. I recommend the specials, the duk mandu guk, any of the soups really, the steamed veggie dumplings. My family fights over the delicious banchan. This is the best Korean food in the state, possibly multiple states. Thanks for raising my spirits, Sun & Moon!

Amazing Korean food. Probably the best Korean food I’ve eaten in the north east including Boston and Providence. Their kimchi is authentic and home made weekly and you can taste it. Food it priced appropriately and delicious and comes with fast service. Servers and hosts are very respectful and pleasant and willing to go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your meal. Would highly recommend for anyone in the area. P.S. they allowed us to enter at 7:50 when they were closing at 8. Very kind staff. Lovely family restaurant.

I just had my first meal with my wife here. I asked the people walking out what was good and all 5 said we couldn't go wrong ordering anything but recommended the m4 and m1 so we had stir fried chicken and bulgogi steak. It was excellent and fresh. The rice was sticky rice and perfect. The meat was very fresh. I've had this restaurant on my favorites list for years. I have no idea why I haven't gone until now.

Excellent Korean staples! Their house-made kimchi is delicious (not too fishy, just spicy enough and crisp). Their Kimchi Jigae is the best I also recommend the Dol Sot Bibimbop. But for less adventurous eaters; try the Marinated Spicy chicken or the don katsu (fried pork cutlet). Ttok Bokii (Pronounced dock bow key) is also delicious. I have been dinning here for close to a decade. They started as a small counter with a few tables. They have grown to add an intimate dinning room. The family who own Sun & Moon are lovely. I feel at home there. I have had korean all over the country and none have compared to this place.

First time having Korean food. I loved the Vegetable Dumplings and Korean Pancake, the spicy paste is delicious! We also had the BiBimBap and the OmeRice. There were no disappointments, nor regrets. John is a really nice guy, treated us like family.

We just arrived in Providence and tried this place out. It was so good! They have some menu items that I haven't seen in other Korean restaurants back home (near Philly). The flavor and quality of everything was great! I think we'll have to come back for takeout before we leave.
