This was the freshest & most flavorful meals I’ve ever had. I don’t normally eat Vegan food, but eating here has turned me into a strong believer. Chef Chris really knows what he’s doing! Recommended to anyone who is in the city and wants to try something new & tasty!

**Review for Sunday C&C Eatery, 348 Bowery, NYC** As an uneducated omnivorous eater (and yes, stereotipically biased as well) i was looking to challenge my beliefs about how boring strict vegan diets could be, when I stumbled upon the perfect place to do just that during my last trip to Manhattan. With an unwavering commitment to fresh, crisp, and delicious flavors, I am absolutely delighted to share my experience at Sunday C&C Eatery, located at 348 Bowery, NYC. This street kiosk, run by the incredibly talented chef Chris Torres, offers a vegan culinary adventure that is nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I approached the kiosk, I was struck by the meticulous cleanliness and the inviting, vibrant atmosphere. The attention to detail in both the presentation and the service is immediately apparent. The staff’s knowledge and understanding of vegan dietary needs and lifestyle are exceptional, ensuring that every guest feels understood and valued. **Chef Chris Torres** Meeting Chef Chris Torres was a highlight. His passion for vegan cuisine shines through in every dish he creates. I’m not vegan and it was some of the tastiest food I’ve had in a while! Never in my life did I think that I’d like vegan ceviche, but if I could, I would eat it every day.

This place is excellent! When I received my food, I was so pleasantly surprised. I got the pollo al limon which was fried lions mane mushroom with this yummy sauce and garlic rice. It was DELICIOUS. Love the little location, too. Can't wait to go back!

Consistently excellent and inventive vegan food! One of our favorite spots not just in East Village but in NYC. Can never go wrong with the chicken sandwich and whatever is on special, but everything is worth trying (and rotates throughout the year)!

LOVED the mushroom sticky rice dish (don't know name). Didn't love the ceviche (apparently they were missing the correct sauce! so not sure why they still served it...).

A little booth at the Bowery street market offering an all vegan international menu. A one man show, food was made right in front of me as I pulled a stool by the bar and waited. I tried the chicken sandwich, a breaded deep fried home-made seitan patty in a burger bun. The pickled daikon radish slices were a beautiful addition and so was the scallion spread. Definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, check this place out.

Incredible vegan place in nyc, we’ve been here for a week and this was the best food we ate so far. We had chickpea cakes , peanut noddles and lionsmane chicken. Everything was nothing like I’ve ever tried before. Very clever and original flavours.

Everything was so tasty and very gf friendly! Being gf and vegan is always an adventure and this spot hits.

Finally got to try Sunday and it did not disappoint! The food came really quickly and was so delicious, so crispy and flavorful!! And the right portions. I was stuffed with the sandwich and yucca crisps. Can't wait to come back and try the other dishes and definitely the desserts😍

Christian the owner and chef is a magician! Working out of a tiny space he crafts some of the most unique and tasty vegan food around! Cant wait for when he opens a sit down spot!

The creativity of this chef deserves all our attention

i had high expectations for this place bc i’ve heard nothing but good things and it exceeded them! i really loved all the flavors and none of it felt heavy at all. i shared the papa rellena, arepas and patacon with a friend. we loved them all especially the papa rellena! for dessert, they had a sheet cake special that was also delicious. highly recommend. their menu changes seasonally so i already can’t wait to come back to try more dishes.

Had the Arepas and Yuca Bites, both were absolutely fantastic. The prices are just right, the food is delicious, and I’m looking forward to eating here again

The vegan food is absolutely fantastic. I got the special which was gumbo and the dark chocolate mousse with persimmons. It was all very filling and flavorful. The owner was really nice and the food was ready quickly. Because it’s a little stall you can even see him preparing it. Highly recommended for vegans and non-vegans alike especially if you like Latin food.

Wish I had taken pictures! The food was super delicious, all vegan, made fresh. We tried the Papa Rellena, Escabeche, and Chikn sandwich + Chikn parm sandwich. Escabeche was our favorite. Chikn sandwich could have used more sauce. The restaurant is more of a little stand in a small market so luckily we were able to sit. Chef/person running everything was very nice and explained the dishes well so we made good choices. I’d definitely come back!!

Tiny vegan restaurant in the Bowery market alcove run by a kind man named Chris. I got the fried chicken sandwich. The soy chicken patty was very crispy and hot, and the choice of bread paired well with it (nicely toasted). I will say the sandwich is too heavy on the parsley (leaves on top of the already-strong aioli was overkill) but otherwise a delicious meal!

Probably one of the most unique vegan menus in NYC right now. Chef Christian has a seasonal menu featuring Latin flavors (and some Asian-inspired twists), with a heavy focus on vegetables and mushrooms. The dishes I've tried here I haven't seen anywhere else, the flavors are super complex and interesting, and they do not skimp at all on the ingredients. It's easy to miss if you don't know where you're looking - this is a stall inside of the tiny Bowery Market on 3rd Avenue. Great spot for a quick bite and to try something new.

Came here on a cold Sunday with my friend and we were blown away by the amazing flavors. We tried 4 dishes and they were all wonderful. 10/10 highly recommend. Hoping to come back to try the soup.

My newest obsession! The best vegan food I’ve had outside of my own home in years made thoughtfully and with so much heart. The cookies are my Roman Empire and it’s my new go to anytime I am not cooking!

This place was the first on my list for when I came back to New York and righteously so. Christian is a really nice guy who makes absolutely bangin’ food. Best katsu curry and pupusas ever. Can’t wait to go back!

First restaurant I tried when I first landed in NY, and let me tell you. It set the mood for the rest of the trip. Best vegan food I‘ve eaten so far. I would recommend to anyone, no matter a vegan or not. The owner (I think?) greeted me and made sure I felt at home. Will definitely visit again in a few years when I come here again!

Quaint little shop with heated indoor seating. Food was outstanding. Packed with flavor and depth. I got the sweet turnip sambal, but the person next to me ordered the mushroom tagine and it looked incredible as well. Would absolutely come back and order more. It’s just one guy running the whole operation but the food still came out so fast.

I’m not even vegan and I already want to come back to this spot. Super flavorful and balanced food that’s freshly made to order. Like that the chef is focused on making food just taste good, not making food that is completely allergen free (like vegan food tends to be). Do yourself a favor and try it out - so dang tasty

Delicious! We had the tostones, curry fries and the pupusas, all were very good. - The tostones where crunchy and the garlic sauce that came with them was addicting. - Curry sauce on the potatoes was not spicy, we wanted to lick the plate - Pupusas were great! Were sold out of a couple of things, but we can’t wait to come back and try more of the food out.

Amaaaaaazing - so good, was totally wowed.

Tucked away near the Bowery Electric is this little gem of a vegan eatery. Y'all, I was excited, and then delighted, as the entire menu is vegan and made in-house. I chose the tacu tacu, and it was easily the most delicious food I've eaten in quite a while. Sometimes on the road my only options are french fries and a side salad. No more! Whenever I visit NYC I'll make it a point to visit so I can sample everything they offer. The cooks/servers were kind, gracious, charming, and helpful. Eleventy billion stars!!!

OMG! This is an amazing vegan place! The coconut lemonade is so refreshing! We tried like 6 six from the menu and all of it was delish!

Absolutely love this little kitchen, just the one dude in there cooking with love and passion. The menu is always changing a bit and the variety is great. The food quality is stellar as well, no it’s not a fine dining experience but he does damn well getting close. I’ve gotten the chicken sandwich, ceviche, pajeon, and carrot cake and I’d get them all again. And reasonable prices!!

I love this cute little hidden vegan gem!! its hard to find a place that has vegan food along with great customer service. Sumera was so nice and patient explaining the menu and her recommendations. I was the only one there so instead of sumera just being on her phone and ignoring we were talking like we knew each other!! and the food she made was delicious and you could taste the love in it!! Totally recommend this place and would love to see it grow!

The food is amazing here! I have tried Patatas Bravas, chicken sandwich and ceviche and let me tell you am already back to eat here within a week. It’s so good! The salsa sauce on the potato and chicken sandwich is just delicious. I was skeptical about the ceviche but it was out of this world. The heart of palm with charred Brussels taste so delicious and perfect for the hot weather. Can’t wait to go back and try more items from the menu!!

I was running an errand and stumbled upon Sunday's street sign calling out "Pretty decent vegan food" and obviously I had to try it. The Chik'n sandwich was EXCEPTIONAL. I ordered it to-go and mentioned I was going to finish running my errand and would be back in 10-15 minutes. I was informed they will hold off on cooking it until just before I arrive so it could be as fresh as possible. After picking it up and walking 10 minutes back to my office it held together so well and was absolutely delicious. I also ordered the Panela Juice and it was such a refreshing treat on my walk back on such a hot day. 10/10 experience.
