This place is really cool! Great fun for everyone. They have a ton of different shooting simulations. Everything from hunting to killing zombies. The food and drinks were really good too. I recommend this place to first time shooters who want to get some experience before handling a real firearm. I also recommend this place to experienced shooters of all types to get competitive. Prices are very reasonable. My only complaint is the only weapons available are hand guns. I really wish they would bring in some rifles. Overall a great time!!

Ron is the best. He legitimately loves the food and sells it great! This isn't just fried bar type food, this is brisket nachos, home made Mac n cheese and they smoke their own pulled pork and beef, and it's soooo much fun! Adult beverages too! Great service!!!!

Pro tip: if you're bringing a novice shooter, sit back and let the staff give the pointers (even if you have professional gun play experience). They are more than qualified and your better half will appreciate it.

Wow!! Blown away by the food!! We did a to-go order and it was fabulous! We ate it all before we could get a picture but the to-go order we took home was bigger ands better than their advertised picture!!

Sim Shot in La Grande has the best food! They have the most amazingly creamy Mac & Cheese! Their brisket just melts in your mouth. My husband and I love their dinner specials. If you haven't tried it yet, you need to give it a "sim" shot!!! 😊

This is a great way to get into firearm safety. Ron is a very experienced instructor and you are sure to learn something from him! P.S. they make some great food as well!

SimShot is a blast! The dark, cool facility makes hanging out comfortable in this summer heat, the weight and feel of the simulation firearms is very good, and the overall experience of the games is very good! The price is also great, less than $50 for an hour of entertainment for my group of 4, spending enough time shooting the realistically weighted firearms that my, and everyone else's, shoulders started to get sore! Additionally, the Range staff were friendly, competent, and very much fostered an atmosphere of fun, and simultaneously safe, time for all! It's not only entertaining, but also would probably be a great way for someone with little to no shooting experience to go learn something about shooting!

By far one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in long time! Fantastic customer service! The food is absolutely phenomenal, perfectly proportioned, and most is house made! I was going to try out the shooting range stuff they had but once I finished my food, I was happy-stuffed! I will DEFINITELY be coming back for the shooting play and 100%for the food!

He really got the kids involved and was especially good with my 4 year old that was having a tough time that day. What a fun place for the entire family! My wife, our 7-year old, and our 3-month old all had a blast! There's plenty of options for the younglings; it's not all just target practice and firearms training. Although, they do also offer firearms safety courses, marksmanship courses, and a monthly Concealed-Carry permit course. Oh gosh and the food was great! Their house-made BBQ sauce on a pulled-pork sandwich was incredible! Robert and everyone else at Sim Shot were wonderful people and we look forward to going again!

Nacho basket with smoked brisket was superb! Sweet jalapeños, the works! Staff was very helpful explaining bays for shooting. I booked the valentine's day dinner and shoot special.

What an awesome experience, I took my whole family of 7! Even the littles had a blast while learning gun safety, definitely gonna go again! The fries are the best (Just a heads up!)

The food is EXCELLENT! The Sim Shot salad is just amazing! Super fresh ingredients. The smoked meats are incredible too. The homemade sauces and dressings are wonderful. If you haven't eaten here you are missing out. I haven't personally tried the shooting, but I have had family that has, and they really enjoyed it.

Found this very enjoyable simulated shooting experience in Elgin while visiting for Thanksgiving. It's a new business and the owners were friendly & welcoming, yet professional during orientation. Many target and situational scenarios kept our family's attention the whole time - itself a miracle. Realistic Glock feels right for experienced shooters. The boar and prairie dog blasting was awesome as I don't do the same to live critters anymore. If you don't shoot, just go for affordable good food as Elgin has few spots for that. This was too long, but they're new so why not support them and have fun in the process.
