Went to this place after looking for a place to stop for dinner. Sushi AI didn't disappoint. I ordered a Michigan roll which is spicy tuna with crunch and massago. I also had a Spider roll. The Michigan roll was really good. The tuna had a smoky taste to it. I also had some of my partner's miso soup. It was good. The prices here are amazing. For strip mall Asian food, this place is soooo good! I'll come back.

Just like all the other said, this is the best value in town for sushi. Sure there are places that have a little bit better sushi but what you would pay for one roll there you get all you can eat here. This is the only place I will go for sushi unless someone else is paying 😂😂.

Busy little place and great sushi.

We come here a lot. Tonight we were a party of 5. Vivian is one of the best waitresses I've ever had anywhere. She remembered my son's need for gluten-free soy sauce when we sat down, was on top of every drink refill, and kindly left extra lemonade on the table. Viva Vivian!!!

I can easily eat at Sushi Ai once a week. All their locations are similar and have a very consistent menu and sushi is the same from one location to the next. Service is always great.

Quick, delicious, and the price was amazing! Will visit this location again and again We try to come every month and have yet to have a bad experience. Food is consistent and visually appealing.

They may not have the best sushi, but they have really good sushi at a great price and are VERY consistent. On weekends it may be a bit more expensive, but the 15.00 dollar all you can eat lunch option is just too good.

All you can eat sushi for $24 is hard to beat.

I used to absolutely love this place but like most places it's popularity has affected the prices and service. I still go every now and then but it's not what it once was.

Terrible. Never had a bad experience like that in the past 30 years. Came in at 9:15, ordered a bunch of sushi, waited 30 minutes for the food, the manager rudely kicked us out at 10:15 because we stayed 15 minutes past close. Will never go back.

Waitied in line forever and was told We had to sit down. they passed us over a few times for people to just walk in ahead of us when I clearly heard them ask if they had reservations, they said no, yet they let them in before us. Then stated they don't take reservations...??..Looks good on the menu and you have some good reviews for that. I believe it's a local juvenile college and high school kind of place. No really a Mommy and daddy kinda thing. It's kinda weird, it would have been a boon to saint Charles if it was legit. But I don't think you're so sushi AI. I believe it's more just serving folks that don't know any better.... Crappy service and they act like your lucky to be abused! .. quote me!

Have had a stomach ache for the past 4 days since eating here. Will not be returning.

I have never been so obsessed with a place. Service is generally good and sushi come out at a good time. This location does not charge extra for sauce and thats a huge plus. This is my favorite sushi restaurant. Appetizers are tasty and all around a good sushi place.

I don't like sushi but my gf loves this place and everyone that works here is really nice

Never eating at this place again! We ordered chicken teriyaki Entree, and literally chicken is THE smallest portion I’ve seen at any restaurant - and of course veggies are filling the plate. Stingy portions, not fresh sushi, always after taste and stomach aches!! Very bad restaurant not sure why people left good reviews, while quality of the food is not there period.

This location has been our go-to spot for sushi for 5+ years. We love their specials, and their staff is fabulous. Not to mention, the sushi is fantastic.

when i first started ordering from here the rolls were great but the last 4 times i have ordered the fried st louis it has been different. sometimes it is hardly fried so it’s almost gummy and the few times i have tried to have it replaced they have done it but they are usually not super kind about it. this time i called ahead to ask if they’d please make sure it was fully fried. except when i got it, there was almost no actual salmon in it, so it is pretty much fried cream cheese roll and there were only 6 pieces in what is supposed to be an 8 count roll. it is hard to want to keep ordering from here when it is so inconsistent down to the amount of pieces that come in the roll. i wouldn’t have expectations if it was always like that but it’s never the same and i don’t want to keep asking the store to fix it to have the employees continue to be frustrated with me, when i am the one getting wrong, inconsistent food :(

Coming from NY, it is very difficult to find good sushi. Very very good sushi. On top of that, our server, Vincent, went above and beyond to make sure we had a good night!

So we just moved from CA, to Fulton Missouri and we were super charging in St. Louis before our flight, and so far best service and proper sushi! I am totally willing to drive an hour to this place! Yummy 🤤

Great sushi spot for the value-minded patron. In my opinion there isn't a better sushi value in the Saint Louis area than Sushi Ai and the Saint Charles location is my favorite. Three value is decent for dinner, but it is excellent for lunch.

I feel like this restaurant has went down hill a lot in the last 6-9 months. The sushi is just ok or not good at all and the restaurant seems dirty these days.

Totally satisfied my sushi craving! Thanks to the "all you can eat" lunch special, I was able to have a little of lots of different items. Everything was good. fish fresh. miso soup, tempura, and shumi hot. the fried rice was uninspired, but it's a sushi place, and if the children weren't so picky, they could have had the good stuff too! 😂

I came here at 11:50 am on Sunday. The service was very very slow compared to another branch. 🐌 But I still gave two stars because the waiter was polite and nice. The atmosphere was pretty dark but the beautiful decoration with bamboo.🎍

Bottomless sushi was really fantastic! Lots of choices and very well done. Things to know: Its a 2 hour limit, and they do charge a fee if you dont clear your plate, so order carefully! They also offer a take home option for the same price as the bottomless sushi that seemed fairly generous

Came in for dinner as a party of three. For $23.99, you get 2 hours of all you can eat rolls, nigri, and appetizers. For a busy Friday night service was prompt under 15min wait time for our respective party. There were a few errors made on our orders but I was not surprised considering how busy it was. The decor was nice. They had fake bamboo trees that were pretty, and you can see the chefs on the front desk make the sushi, which was pretty exciting. Seating arrangements are a tad tight, especially if you don't get one of the booths. Overall, it was a very delicious experience, well worth the price and would come again. All you can eat sushi for $23.99. worth every penny. Four stars for atmosphere because of the filthy green fish tank as you walk into the entrance. Clean it or get sucker fish.

I always leave here disappointed. The sushi quality is mediocre at best. I get that it is all you can eat so maybe you get what you pay for so, one needs to ask if you are going to eat more than$20 worth of sushi. If so, maybe this is worth it. I tend to not get my money's worth because it is not good to motivate me to want more or even to finish 2 rolls. There is a full menu of other things that aren't the all you can eat sushi. You might have to ask for that menu. If you do go, the staff is friendly and it is relatively clean. There is wheelchair access and there are some vegetarian items

Good value AYCE sushi place. As of spring 2024 their All-You-Can-Eat sushi is $23.99. I ordered more than they wound up bringing out, but it was decent quality and filling. Best affordable AYCE sushi restaurant I’ve found.

I’ve always liked this place but unfortunately I got food poisoning from here last night. My boyfriend and I both had the gyoza, salads, a sushi entree that consisted of a California roll, tuna roll, and salmon roll (I did not eat any of the California roll), an order of chicken fried rice, and the Hawaiian roll. I also had a miso soup which he did not and he did not get sick so the culprit may have been the miso soup. We live together and ate the same for lunch earlier yesterday as well and I did not eat anything else yesterday so unfortunately I am pretty positive I got my food poisoning from this place. It kicked in about 45 minutes after dinner and I was up all night with extreme debilitating stomach pain, excess sweating, shaking, headache, and more details that I will spare you from (TMI). I hate to talk poorly of a small business but if they are the culprit of causing disease that is affecting my work life and could potentially but others at risk then I would like to notify the restaurant of this issue so they can handle it. Otherwise, the service I had last night was great and the food tasted good. I would also like to let the restaurant know that walking in and seeing the dirty fish tank in the front is really off-putting when you’re about to eat sushi. Otherwise, hope you guys can figure this out and wish your restaurant the best!

Our appetizers were delivered to the wrong table. They sat there at the table with these people, and then the server took it off the table and brought it over to us, which is a complete health code. Isthe servers are running around with chickens with their head cut off? We ordered a bottle of wine. It took us 15 minutes to get that with no glasses. Then she brings dirty glasses over. Brings them back and then takes another 10 minutes to bring us clean glasses unacceptable. The manager's excuse was she's new. Well then, the manager should jump in and help her. It's all about teamwork.

For the price, it's a 10 out of 10. Overall, compared to other sush,i between taste and presentation is a 7.5 to 8.

The place is filthy, floors sticky, booths are sticky, bathroom is disgusting, the service is terrible, dried up sushi in between all the bamboo setups they have. And the food is hit and miss. Eat here, I do. But you'll see.

All you can eat sushi price was fair. About average from what I've seen. More importantly, the sushi and appetizers are pretty good. I recommend the St. Louis roll and the eel roll. For appetizers, their gyoza is also pretty awesome. Only downside is the nigiri. Rice was so soggy that it just fell apart. Still tasted good though. Really small and cramped interior. Booths and tables are really close together and their waiting area is nonexistent.

Visited for lunch with grandson, son in law and wife. We had a great time, wonderful food. My grandson (4) had chicken nuggets and then ate a whole roll of sushi.

I walked in tonight to get $26 all you can eat sushi and the place was jam-packed. There were orders up at the sushi bar and nobody seemed to want to work to make the rolls or other sushi and then I noticed that the guys were sneezing and blowing their noses and not washing their hands. Absolutely gross. I walked out

The location in Zumbehl drive is always busy (a good busy...) and is very consistent in how they make their orders! This is my GO-TO place when I have a sushi craving!

This is tied with the downtown location for best overall experience. The service is hit or miss. The blonde male server is on pointe. The blond female server... we literally walked out because we had to wait so long for her to even acknowledge us.

Usually it is pretty good, but the other night was unpleasant. Upon entering the fish tank was in dire need of cleaning. Very murky and brown. We got a table quickly but it took probably 15-20 min before anyone came to take a drink order. The service continues to be very slow all night. The potstickers and crab rangoon were served cold. Once the rolls came, there was the hard stem of an avocado that was inside a sushi roll. Very unpleasant to bite into that! Also the salmon was not consistent. Some pieces tasted great, other ones very mushy and tasted off (salmon in the Alaska roll vs salmon nigiri). The albacore tuna nigiri was extremely dry. Looks like we are going back to the O'Fallon location.

The food is great! I always enjoy it when I go here. In fact, this is probably my favorite Sushi restaurant. My favorite item is the fried philly roll. Usually, I only go for special occasions, especially lately, because in this economy a meal out is a treat, let alone sushi. The service is usually good. But can we talk about how gross the fish tank right when you walk in looks? The fish are way too large for the tank and look miserable and cramped. And the tank is FILTHY, and IT SMELLS. Very unappetizing. I keep fish, I know what a good tank with healthy fish looks like, and this ain't it. Thankfully they're just display fish, so no one is eating them, but I would really appreciate if I could walk into your store without the first thing I see being a neglected animal.

We love the St. Charles sushi Ai 🍣 . We have been coming here for years, and it's always delicious. It can be busy on Tuesdays due to the buy 1, get 1 50% all you can eat....which is our favorite! Sushi and apps are great, and the staff is nice. Will continue to go visit regularly!

I have eaten sushi many times. Sushi Ai was not a good experience. Both my husband and I had diarrhea the next morning. Sushi taste was mediocre. Not recommended

Food is ok. For the price you pay the quality is fine. Service was alright, but she started brooming the whole place (more than 2 hours before closing time) including around our table, would've been better if she'd broom just the empty areas.

The sushi is fresh and fast! Vivian is my favorite waitress at the St. Charles location. The tempura Roll, spicy salmon roll, and pretty much all the others are great! The atmosphere is good as well.

Only Sushi place I order from. Best there is. They are popular and stay busy. Highly recommend calling ahead even if your dining in. But sooooo worth it.

We did a carry out order and have for awhile, tonight was the first time I was disappointed. None of my orange chicken had any meat on it and it was all hard. For the price I have an entire meal not editable.

Our 10 year anniversary dinner, but takeout because we like to eat at home! So freaking good! We only get sushi outside of home a few times a year but this is my favorite to date. Heads up everyone, they charge for what you don't eat again. Not a few dollars, $15 dollars more for what you dont eat. You pay the lunch buffet fee twice. If someone goes here and does not know what they like and do the buffet to try everything they want, they should not have to be charged twice just to TRY it. But of course we cant share either because thats against the "rules" too. When we confronted them they just kept saying we were being wasteful and that it is said on the menu. No, the menu says "additional fee for leftovers" not anything specific or an amount or anything. Forget the atmosphere, save your money and either go somewhere else or order to go because by their logic, you can spend $15 in sushi to go or spend $30 for sushi in the restaurant and get the same 3 rolls. The only difference is your waitress wont ignore you and you can have leftovers at home. We definitely will not be back to eat in the restaurant ever again. We are not paying twice for the same meal. Not everything is about making money every chance you get, you still have to make sure you don't rob your customers.
