Loved the food here and would recommend this place to eat.

I've been looking for my new sushi spot ever since Tenji closed down. This is definitely it. Good prices, great sushi, friendly staff, quick service. I've been back every week.

Delicious food and good service for a good price.

I have eaten here several times on lunch break. Food is good, prices are good and the customer service is top notch! My lunch is an hour; I receive my food in a timely manner and still get to enjoy my meal without rushing.

Great as usual. Food is great. Atmosphere is nice and quiet for table conversation. Service was a little slow tonight, but we didn't mind. We weren't in a hurry. Looked like only one server for many tables. Wasn't an issue for us.

I've been twice now and each time was absolutely delicious. Service was good as well.

We absolutely love the food and servers! The kids will try new items but their fav is the ramen noodle bowls with protein. My personal fav, aside from sushi rolls/sashimi, is the stone bowls with beef bulgogi…it’s amazing. The staff is very attentive but not all over your table. One of our fav places as a family.

Food was excellent, fresh sushi, little wait time. Server was fantastic, knowledgable and polite. others complaining about small portions not aware how moderation is practiced in Japan

We absolutely adore the staff at Sushi Asa! The owner is so sweet and our server Rose is the best ever. We go every Monday for something we like to call Maki Monday with our friends. The first night we met Rose we decided that was our go to place. The sushi is the best. So many options and reasonable prices. No need to go downtown for overpriced sushi when this gem is easy to get in and out of and it’s close to our house. We love it here!

Used to be great years back but has changed. The rice on the sushi is mushy consistently. The rolls used to be bite size and ever since they started making them larger the quality of them all has declined. Unfortunately all the places we like to eat sushi in town have significantly declined.

A very solid lunch option. Good sushi combos as well as lunch box sets. Tuna roll had more tuna than rice which surprised me. Update 2024 more than a year later and still a great place to eat. Decent portions, sushi always tastes great!

Best sushi in town. They don’t skimp on the fish. The quality of fish is the best Ive had here in Greenville area. Super friendly staff, we love coming here.

My family favorite restaurant!!!

Food was really good, place was clean, etc. The shining star was our server, Julianna! A 19 year old who actually knew how to perform the job at an expert level. Very attentive at the right times, cleared plates as they were finished, very well spoken and nice to talk to. I was in the industry and my wife still is, and we haven't had service like this in YEARS. Sushi ASA, do what you can to keep her, because she could easily go to a fine dining place and clean up. Great job, young lady!

Sushi was so fresh! Kids teriyaki chicken was a decent size. Prices are average for a sushi restaurant. Sushi combos were $15-$25. Comes with miso and salad. We'll be back!

One of the hidden gems in Greenville! I have been coming here for years and absolutely love everything about this place. Good quality food at a reasonable price with the best service. Lunch specials are great as well. It is a great place for a quiet date night without all the hustle and bustle!

Went for lunch, and I ordered the nigiri and sashimi. Nothing extraordinary but quality fresh fish and generously sized sashimi cuts. However, the rice is bland (no vinegar).

Food was great if you have time to wait. I went on a lunch break and food took a long time. (I was by myself) Lots of my order came out wrong and I waited longer for that. Ordered white sauce on the side for my sushi and hibachi. Never got it after multiple requests…

Just ordered like 6 different rolls. Honestly the worst sushi I have had in a long time. There are a bunch of better spots downtown in greenville. The rolls at this place it’s like they didn’t even try them before putting um on the menu. The side flavors outside of the fish were in too big of portions. Like big gobs of cream cheese and things like that. The quality of the fish didn’t seem to be up to par either. 2 stars is a very honest review from me. 1 would be if it was just disgusting. But this place having a 4.5 average was absolutely misleading to say the least. I hope you all give this review a read before choosing this spot. Any of the spots I have been to in downtown greenville put this place to shame. I think we will end up throwing out alot of this. Spent all that money for nothing.

If you are looking for some good sushi, this is the place to go! Excellent selection of items to choose from, quaint environment, and good service. We will be back to try more of the sashimi

Best sushi in Greenville. Greenville is not a spot known for Sushi or at all. And Im a bit of a sushi snob. But Sushi ASA is the best in town! The chef prepares great rolls. And they have great specials for nigiri and sashimi, and the pricing is awesome. 10/10 best in town. The lady who runs it is so nice too. Its the best!

My absolute favorite place for sushi! I typically get the sushi lunch special with 2 or 3 rolls, but if you’re going to order from the regular menu, you’ve got to try the Greenville roll. It’s probably the best roll I’ve ever had! The dressing on the salad is delicious as well. The host and servers are always friendly and the food gets delivered quickly. I’ve probably been there 30+ times and it never disappoints. Highly recommend!

This is some of the best (vegetarian) sushi I’ve had. I am pleasantly surprised at great this place is! My husband is going on an on about his traditional rolls (fish) too!

My favorite sushi spot in GVL! Great portion size and the employees are all very kind. I love that they still give you free miso soup and salad!

The food was amazing. The only issue was the server forgot to put in our sushi 0rder and my friend sent her sushi back because our dinner came out first and we had already starting eating and became full. Hopefully we'll have better service or another server next time.

First time visiting and we will be back. Fresh tasting sushi, fair prices, good service. Conveniently located to where we live (Holly Tree) so what's not to like? Update: since originally going here, we've been many times. Always great! Every roll is tasty... Hibachi Chicken is terrific too.

I remember going here when it first opened a long time ago! It’s a mauldin staple and probably some of the best sushi in the area. They give you a lot of meat / fish in the rolls and everything tastes fresh. The lunch special is a good deal as well! My favorite role is the crunch scallop.

I love this restaurant. They have consistently delivered exceptional service and products throughout my many visits. Coupled with a friendly and familiar atmosphere, this is my number one place in all of the "Woodruff restaurant restaurant corrider" to visit. I am regretful for waiting and only commenting now. They deserve to be repeatedly cited as an excellent place to dine.

This is our first sushi restaurant in the area and I'm so glad we chose Sushi ASA. Our waitress was so kind and attentive and our food came out in good time. The steamed gyoza was perfect and sushi was incredible. The Greenville roll was amazing!

Food is good, prices are fair, I recommend the bulgogi lunch box. Only down side is the slow service

Friendly, delicious food, attentive and great prices. I brought my grandkids in to order sushi take out for their first time. Staff made some good recommendations and easily helped us avoid any allergy concern. We will be back to try some new dishes that we saw on the menu.

This place definitely has above average sushi. They’re not banking on a trendy downtown Greenville location, just great food and a really nice atmosphere. Probably my favorite sushi in the area. Been here four times, can’t wait to go back.

Lunch box! You get a variety of items-delicious and at a good price point.

My wife and I really like eating here. We have been a few times and my kids and I would be done with our meals by the time her food came out.

The fishs here is so fresh and the gyoza (steamed) was so delicious. Only thing I wish the shrimp tempura was the same batter as the veggie tempura vs using panko. The two rolls we got were food the one in the picture is the lonely Angel roll.

SERVICE IS ON POINT! The sushi & food are always delicious!! HUGE portion size for Poké bowl! Could eat on it for DAYS! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This tucked-away spot is some of the best sushi I've ever had! So many unique and FLAVORFUL rolls. The Hawaiian roll with mango was positively delicious. The restaurant itself is quiet and clean with friendly staff. Definitely will be back!

I can't believe I never left a review for this restaurant! 😄 It's one of my most favorite places in town. It is very rare to see a very thin layer of rice and lots of fish inside. The best quality for the price I've ever seen. They always serve a soup and a salad with any order. The fish is always very fresh! They have a fantastic deals for lunch and I like to dine in or take it to go.

Over the last (6) years my favorite sushi restaurant was located downtown Greenville where I ate tuna sushi at least 3-4 times/month. I visited Sushi Ana today for lunch and had the Spicy ramen noodles and tuna sushi roll. The service was outstanding, the price was extremely reasonable and I was blown away by the quality of the tuna as well as the amount of tuna in the roll. My new favorite sushi restaurant!! Thank you Sushi Ana!!!!

First time trying here and loved it. Far more than just sushi, this place features a well developed in depth authentic menu. I ordered the stone bowl bibmbap and is the first place outside of Boston I've gotten this and it was delicious. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for quality Japanese cuisine. Casual and clean atmosphere with great service, delicious and quality foods.

I'll eat it , just go in and enjoy it !! Small place just watch the menu prices and remember sometimes it's better to just place order online or calling in to roll through drive thru

Well this WAS my go to sushi spot for many years, but my wife brought me home some sashimi tonight and it's frozen solid. Life long customer gone.

Very good sushi and goyza. Fair priced and not very busy at the time we visited. Cheep beer and sake as well. I'll visit again for sure. Even better the second and third times I visited.

I have never had a bad meal here. It is our go to place for sushi locally in Greenville. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The sushi is fresh and always great! If you ever want a different option the stone bowls are out of this world especially if is rainy or cold outside. The lunches also have great bento style boxes which are a great value at lunch.

Stopped in for a quick lunch, mentioned I was in a hurry. Server was fast and efficient, The salmon roll bento box was delicious and even came with miso soup. Lots of food for the price, a great value; will definitely go back.

Just ordered on Uber eats! I was hesitant but I’m glad I did. Sesame tuna was great, and the fish is fresh. 10/10 would recommend, and the price is affordable too!

Very good, fresh food. Only giving 4 stars because it's very overpriced in my opinion. Chicken fried rice $12.95 I wanted a few veggies added to the rice because normally theirs is only chicken. +$5.95. CHICKEN FRIED RICE $19.96!!! 😱 Very small portion. Not enough for leftovers.

Very good food. Service was a little slow but only because the entire FOH is being run by a single superhuman called Mariella. 100% recommend. I was on a short lunch but I'll be returning when I have to to enjoy the superb atmosphere. Easily on my top 3 favorite places in Gvl County currently. Update: Random visit today outside of my usual time. Still top notch. Love this place.
