Sushi was super fresh. I appreciated the complimentary miso soup. Highly recommend this restaurant! The server and sushi chef were also very kind.

While perhaps easily overlooked, Sushi Gallery served up the best sushi I’ve had in a while. I chose the Smokey n’ Crispy specialty roll alongside a classic Philadelphia roll and both were carefully prepared and delicious. Their miso soup was great as well, and they didn’t even charge me for it despite it being a paid menu item—a great gesture to go along with a very tasty meal!

🔥 READ BEFORE ORDERING: THEY DO NOT CHECK THEIR ONLINE ORDERS SO WHEN YOU COME IN THEY START TO MAKE IT. 🔥 The older gentleman speaks english btw so don’t think you won’t be able to order. 🔥 Probably the only annoying part is they leave the shell on the shrimp and you can taste it so I just order with no shrimp which sucks bc I like shrimp. I guess that’s my take! They have 7 lunch specials that I’ve tried and I do recommend (Monday-Friday 11am-2:30pm) I had the best food ever. (Sushi only) I ordered a few things but the firecracker (torched) and cherry blossom (4nd time I ordered both lol) look at these pieces of sushi!!

Great family owned and run sushi place. Great service and reasonably priced for above average quality.

Their Sunday morning roll is my absolute favorite. The chef is very kind. Sad to keep seeing the prices go up. Online it says one price but when you go in they charge you a different price which I don’t think is fair. They should update their prices on their website. Also charging $2 for a small side of sauce is ridiculous. .50 cent to $1 is understandable but $2 for a tiny thing of sauce is a ripoff.

Service was good, but the food was not. The kids wouldn’t eat the tamago which they love. It smelled rotten to be honest. The other food was barely edible. The gochujang tasted like ketchup, the miso soup didn’t taste like miso soup, it was sour. There was even a weird taste in the avocado asparagus roll. Everything tasted different than other sushi places like bah dah or kyoto. The service was good and friendly but they seemed stretched thin. The atmosphere was nice. We won’t return because of the taste though.

This place has the most amazing sushi. I have been going here for years and have not once had a bad roll. The flavor, the quality of the fish and how truly amazing the owner is. He is so truly educated on what he does compared to other sushi places that I feel do not produce as good quality of food, because of produce gone bad or lack of good fish. I wish he was truly busier for how amazing his shop is because it is a gem. If you pick a place to eat and want good fish and an amazing chef this is the place to go.

I ordered veggie sushi and chicken sushi rolls. Veggie was mediocre and the chicken was so dry. I kind of assumed they would give spicy mayo either drizzled on top or on the side but they charge a dollar for a very very small container.

Absolutely horrible service called them 26 times well before closing no answer so I drive all the way from Hazel park to place an order with more than 1 hour left in the business hours only half the very small restaurant if that filled and they denied my order.. would of been nice to be able to know how the food tasted even.. lazy people should be at home watching tv if you can’t prepare someone’s order

The daily roll that came in my lunch was very good and the tuna nigiri was fresh also. But the salmon nigiri and the shrimp nigiri both tasted old. The food can take a while sometimes if it's busy bc they only have one chef (the owner), but it's because he really takes his time with each roll or meal.
