I am a New York resident but once i experienced this place, it became my ritual to visit Sushi House every time I go NJ area. I normally take out a big sushi plate so my family can enjoy together. Fresh ingredients, so much better than any other places i have tried so far, friendly owner and employees. Easy access where plenty of street parking right in front.

Best sushi in the area!! So high quality for great prices. It is my go to sushi.

I’m not sure, but it looks like this place was sold again. I went there to get something nice and yummy for my family, but end up having a big disappointment the food and how it done absolutely terrible. Dragon rolls are tiny and falling a part it doesn’t look like a normal sushi roll. They even didn’t cut them all the way through. Entire order was prepared by some clueless person who has no experience and skills to be a sushi chef.

I have decided to revise my review from a five-star rating to one star. This sushi place has been our preferred restaurant for the past 15 years, and we have enjoyed our experiences there. The previous owners consistently made us feel valued, whereas the new management/owner lacks a customer friendly mindset. We consistently order their lunch special every Friday. They repeatedly made mistakes with our orders, forgetting items like miso soup, seaweed salad, providing L5 tuna roll & 5 tuna sushi instead of L2 spicy tuna roll and 7 sushi. We didn’t make a big deal about the issues, hoping for improvements, but today was my breaking point. When I tried to place my usual order online, their system kicked me out. When my husband called the restaurant, they informed him that the lunch special time had been changed from 3:00pm to 2:30pm. Despite being regular customers, they declined to accept our order. Although we consistently supported this establishment, it seems that we are now on a quest to find a new place.

Both the sushi and rolls are so delicious. The tuna and unagi sushi are very fresh, and the unagi sushi has a very deep taste without any unpleasant smell. Dragon roll is avocado, well-cooked rice, and sauce. The three-beat harmony was fantastic 😀 You must visit & taste it!

The food, service, and everything else are excellent.

I ordered a platter for a birthday party, and people who attended the party tried the sushi and rolls and said they were so delicious that they would also order from here next time. In my personal experience, this place is the best.

The quality isn't there after several visits for takeout. They also keep messing with missing items and special requests to accommodate allergies. Edit: sorry I can't reply but in the picture is how it appears on the online ordering. This is what I thought I was receiving. But that aside, the quality of the food on multiple occasions really left a lot to be desired.

I believe the Hoedupbap is the best in the town. The owner was very hospitable and the food quality was the very good. We really enjoyed the food and the quiet atmosphere.

Take out sushi order was very diappointing. Rice was extremely overcooked and mushy, might as well have been cement, in texture, taste, and quality. Rice is such an important part of sushi, and to get that so horribly wrong is unforgivable. Their quality of wasabi was poor as well: mint green, almost teal in color, without any depth to it at all. Won’t ever order from there again, and will never suggest it to anyone.

I went to this place with my toddler today. Place was very clean and welcoming. Loved the food neat and fresh! My toddler loved udon and shrimp tempura roll. there is various choices for kids too. Not too salty nor sweet. The owner and the server was so nice to both of us and very friendly. Would definitely visit again!

Unprofessional and Rude. My previous positive recommendation for this place was based on my interactions with the previous owners. The newer people who run the place, specifically the owner is RUDE if there is a problem. They don't or won't speak English unless it is to yell at you which was my experience yesterday when they got my order wrong and I refused to accept it unless it was made correctly. The owner, an older man literally came out from behind the counter and yelled for me to "get out!" They have a young female who does speak English to deal with customers and she can't seem to handle simple requests that require a minor accommodation. Stay away ! Almost any other restaurant will treat the customer right when there is a minor problem.

This sushi spot is a legit mom and pop business . Tucked into a corner in Fort Lee, its unassuming with a few seats inside. The owners are friendly and accommodating. They even purchased gluten free soy sauce when we became frequent customers (partner has Celiacs and never had reaction here). As for the sushi, it's the absolute best in the tri-state area. The fish actually melts in your mouth and the rice is extremely high quality. Everything on the menu is made to a high standard.
