Stone pot bibimbap is delicious

Best Asian restaurant in Michigan by far. Price, Quality, Atmosphere. My ex took men here after I found it for us. I still go here, the food is that good😉

We've been here several times over the past few years and it never disappoints. Great selection of sushi from the newbie trying it for the first time to the experienced. A few Korean dishes and various meals for the non-sushi guests. Ramen dishes are great as well.

I happened to find it while passing by and ate it. The food came out, and the tsushi roll hina was so big that it was hard to fit in one bite, but I ate it so deliciously that I was full. I was so full that I wanted to leave some food, but I was grateful for the kindness of the staff and the hot talk of the lady boss, so I lowered my belt by one belt and let it dry out. I ate it all. It was the best tsushi in America.

My friend and I went for sushi lunch on Sunday. Our server was very kind. No wait when we went. We ordered the salad and miso soup to start which were both very tasty. The sushi was amazing! We split 3 rolls and that was plenty for us. Dragon roll, kamikaze roll, and godzilla roll. My favorite was the dragon roll. Decently priced as well.

This is now going to be our go-to sushi place! The food is so fresh and delicious!! The service was also great, and we were in and out in 30 minutes!! Highly recommend coming here

My wife and I love this restaurant. She loves sushi and they have other dishes I like. The building is plain from the outside but the interior is very nice. The staff are always great when we visit there.

I’ve been coming here nearly monthly for the past year and their menu has so much variety yet “safe” foods that it’s very easy to try new things without feeling like you’ve wasted a meal or over paid, as the prices are incredibly fair. While the restaurant is seemingly small, I have never had to wait regardless of the day and time I went. I am by no means a sushi expert, but for the average Joe I’d recommend this place 100 times over!

Decent sushi and was fairly busy at lunchtime - the sushi didn’t taste as fresh as some of the other sushi spots in Lansing.. but was pretty good! The food came out quick and the staff was pleasant - it is a smaller place but didn’t feel crowded or loud. I would recommend :)

I ordered the Seafood Yakisoba, they give generous servings of food, fast service, and extremely friendly staff. The entire service left me with an extremely satisfied visit. 5/5 I would definitely come again!

Of all the places in Lansing, Sushi Moto has the most to offer, great and numerous authentic Japanese dishes, well prepared, nice cozy atmosphere, and a great wait staff. It may be smaller compared to the other places in Lansing but you can't beat the quality, service, and atmosphere.

Unfortunately my first time here will likely be my last. I had their firecracker sushi roll which at the time seemed great, but immediately the next morning I started experiencing effects of food poisoning with vomiting and frequent unpleasant bathroom trips that lasted three days. I don’t like giving bad reviews to places and the service was great, but Im going to be avoiding eating out for a while after the rough nights I just went through.

The sushi and rolls were very delicious. The rice wasn't too hard or cold, and the fish and fish roe were fresh. My friend who doesn't eat fish ordered a chicken roll instead, and was very satisfied. There wasn't too much sauce and the amount of chicken was generous. The combination of warm sake and sushi on a rainy day was the best, and the quiet restaurant atmosphere and staff service were also very good. There was a wide variety of sushi, rolls, sake and beverages. If you're in the mood for sushi, this is a place worth visiting at least once in Lansing.

Stopped in to see if I could get a quick sushi bite between appointments around 1 pm on a Wednesday. I mentioned knowing what I wanted due to the special that was advertised in the entryway and potential time crunch. My lovely server brought the spicy tuna roll out promptly and then brought my bill before I needed to ask. Sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious and the place is clean and well-appointed… and all under $8.

Best tonketsu ramen ive had in Michigan, hands down

Got three rolls and tuna sashimi. Sashimi was great. Rice in the rolls was dry and flavor wasn't great. Rolls are just drenched in sauce, perhaps to cover-up the mediocre rice and preparation.

Having been to Japan on multiple occasions, I can say with confidence this is one of the better restaurants of this variety. Food was incredible. Service was friendly, and the food arrived quickly. Don't be afraid to order the foods you don't know how to pronounce! You'll be missing out on some delicious opportunities if you do!

My daughter decided that she wanted to enjoy Sushi Moto for her birthday dinner. We were a party of nine, including 2 children. We all had an amazing time. The food is always awesome, and this time was perfect. Our server was extremely friendly and wonderful with the children. If you enjoy sushi, then you need to visit. Even if you are not sure about sushi, they offer other options that are delicious. Thanks for a wonderful evening

I ate here and they had roaches in restaurant also the women running in and out of the back made me feel as if something illegal we going on.

We Absolutely Love This Place ❣️ It's Our Favorite So Far since moving from Cali 5 years ago soooo ! It's not super big , but so worth it ! I wish they had a day where you could get a Hamachi Cama.

We’ve been coming here for years, and this place is outstanding! The ambience is out of this world. I would highly recommend stopping in for dinner for a couple rolls. My favorite was the king California roll, and the kamikaze.

This was my first time eating here and the customer service was amazing and so was the food and the decorations and background music were really well done it was just melt in your mouth sushi and the mochi was absolutely delicious 5 stars, I'm definitely coming back

Best sushi around Lansing and East Lansing. Sushi is great, the sasagando dessert is delicious! I cannot leave enough compliments to the staff as well. It's truly a place we love to go for dinner.

They dress neatly and represent the business well. The sushi chefs are skilled artists. Their work is commendable. They deliver flavors and beauty in a creative way. Stop in for some great atmosphere, service and great sushi.

The food was delicious. The service was nice. Staff will leave you in peace unless you look like or ask for anything. The person who was taking our order didn't really know too much about the food. Which was a little concerning considering we had someone with us who was very nervous to eat the food here for the first time. However, I am taking classes for conversational Japanese. And this was a class project I needed to get done. The other staff member was kind to us and humored us when we would respond with basic Japanese phrases. It wasn't important enough to me if I forgot about it, I did order a sushi roll that did not come to our table. But I wasn't disappointed, the other dish(es) ordered were very good, warm, and comforting. Especially the Curry Chicken Katsu. If I could afford to eat here more often, I would come back.

I don't know why I lived in this town for so long before discovering this place, but now it is one of my favorites! Lots of vegetarian options, and everything I have had has been amazing. My favorites are probably the Veggie Bento and the Veggie Yakisoba. But there are a ton of excellent veggie sushi options as well!

I'm so glad my girlfriend and I stumbled on this restaurant. This is some of the best sushi if not the best tasting sushi I have ever had. You also can't beat it for the price! Would highly recommend the Boston Roll.

Very cozy and the service is amazing. All of the staff are very polite and friendly and the food here is amazing.

A small slice of heaven. They have a variety of sushi and other dishes, but I go for the sushi. It's a small and intimate establishment and the lighting is very calming. The staff are all friendly and I don't think I've ever had to wait more than a minute to have a server at the table.

A good place. We (two people) spent about $60 but if you're frugal two could probably eat there for under $50. Decent portions, tasty, and seemed healthy.

We have always had really great food from Sushi Moto. We dined in for the first time recently, and it was very nice. The staff was extremely polite, food came out fast and was delicious.

Very comfortable place to eat, service is always really good and i stop by here weekly! I like how they keep my water filled, check on me and the food is pretty good ontop of that. Definitely my go to spot in town. I’ve tried other places for sushi but overall this spot checks the marks for me.

The atmosphere and service fit pretty much everything I know about Japanese culture. So it is an authentic experience. The restaurant is small, not enough to be quaint, but enough to feel neighborly. And the servers promote that. Finally the food was amazing! Had both sushi and curry katsu both were spectacular.

When we arrived it looked closed. We walked to the door and they were open. I wasn't impressed with the appearance or ambience. The service was inexperienced and rushed. The food was not prepared well and all of our food was served on one plate. The taste of the food was okay. I feel like this could just be one of those hit or miss places.

Great food love the bibimbap. I always am satisfied with this place. The service is amazing as well. The kamikaze roll is A+. They only thing i don't like is they fill the soy sauce jug all the way to the top so it spills every time.

This place is just bad, the food is okay but nothing special. Overpriced for what it is really. Restaurant is hot inside and the staff are not friendly and are extremely slow. My dinner took over an hour because they didn't put our tickets in correctly. Skip this place for sure, so many better options in Lansing.

It's an okay place, but not my favorite. I don't like how the sushi rice is prepared. It's under done, IMO. The service and restaurant itself are amazing. They're so friendly and it's so clean in there. I've been here a handful of times over the years, and the sushi rice has always been my biggest complaint.

This is our favorite sushi spot on the West Side of Lansing. Can always count on the food being GREAT. Sometimes they can be short staffed, which can mean you have to wait for a new drink or an extra napkin, but it is worth it :)

I use to love this place and would eat here multiple times a week for about 6-7 years. The quality of the food has dropped so bad this last year. Ate here for the last time yesterday the last 3 times I have ate here I’ve got violently ill immediately after. The quality of the rolls is 1/5 what they use to be. Sad to make this post but no more sushi moto for me.

Sushi is ok. Falls apart easily. Most disappointing was the service. Server didn't offer us water refills until he brought our bill. My fiance had to drink my water.

One of the rolls definitely had an above normal fishy taste. The yellowfin sashimi we ordered had a strong chlorine taste. The rest was very good. We loved the Boston roll. I do not think I would recommend this restaurant.
