The dinner was fabulous and our waiter Kevin was outstanding. It was a great evening.

My husband threw a birthday party for me at Suzette's Creperie last weekend, and it was perfect! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, the décor was gorgeous. Our guests enjoyed a choice of steak frites, sole meuniere, duck confit, beef bourguignon crepes, and roasted vegetable crepes. They were all wonderful. The manager Carol was outstanding, helping with every detail, including renting vintage china place settings that were beautiful, helping us with food choices (including gluten free and vegan items), having the patisserie chef make a special dessert, providing party favors, and putting us in touch with their sommelier for wine choices. And every staff person made us feel special and looked after during the event. The party exceeded all my expectations, and everyone loved it! If you need to host a bridal shower, baby shower, or birthday party, please consider Suzette's Creperie. You will not be disappointed.

horrible management and table service, definitely could’ve had better

If you identify yourselves as a French restaurant, please learn French dishes. The Niçoise salad I was served was completely wrong. The dressing should be a Dijon vinaigrette not balsamic. The potatoes were tasteless and likely at least a day old. The hard boiled egg the same. No capers, but peppers? This was a sickly sweet salad and had absolutely none of the brininess that this dish should have. The saltiness of the olives seemed way out of place but it was literally the only ingredient with the right tone. And the serving size of the tuna was ridiculous for the price. I mean…just a really bad dish. French food deserves a Google search so you get the recipes right. Do better.

Beware… their reservations mean nothing. Ruined Mothers Day. We made a reservation way back in March for Afternoon Tea on Mothers Day. They called us up 5 days before to tell us that they were no longer offering Afternoon Tea that day and only doing a set brunch menu. We aren’t interested in that menu…. Nothing on it our kids would enjoy unfortunately. Of course by this point in time no other local restaurants have reservations open. So now we have nowhere to go on the day despite trying to plan way in advance.

My mother and I had the most beautiful lunch at Suzettes Creperie. Our waitress was friendly and patient. We ordered the chicken and the veggie crepes that came with a delicious little salad. The restaurant is beautiful and cozy. We even brought home a gorgeous lemon meringue tart. Delicious!

I, along with my sister and a close family friend, frequent Suzette's for Saturday morning brunch. When my partner and I decided to tie the knot and host 30ish guests, Suzette's was on my check list. We went with Suzette's and they made our ceremony and following four course dinner a spectacular event. Started with a 45 minute receiving which included champagne and appetizers (incredible). We then had a brief ceremony, folliwed by the four course dinner. Service was outstanding, as was the food. The Manager and entire staff went above and beyond. They took special care with our attendees who have food allergies. Overall, our special evening was perfect! I will likely book my next event here. Thank you Suzette's team!!!

We had an early-ish dinner on a Friday night. The last time we were here we had dessert so this time we opted for the fondue appetizer, which was a generous pot of white cheese and pieces of baguette. We ate all of the bread, and they brought over another plate! The cheese was Delicious and there was plenty. We followed with crepes- I had the beef bourguignon crepe which was delicious, the beef tender and excellent seasoning. No room for dessert, but I did have a latte. Note, we also had wine!

Visited in January, tho review indicates today. Love crepes so was excited to find this place. However, this restaurant is rather pricey considering the small portions & the fact that only one out of the two crepes ordered were edible. The beef bourguignon was so salty that neither of us could eat more than the initial bite but no one came to ask about it or noticed these 2 crepes were left virtually untouched. The mushroom one was delicious but won't return since it seemed evident the staff really didn't care. I don't mind paying for good food but unfortunately, that didn't happen here.

Onion soup and French Salade was good. Duck advertised as duck confit on risotto. Very dry 1/4 duckling on brown and wild rice, which I think is a better paring than risotto. Bananas Foster was lukewarm bananas with melting whipped cream. Wine list needed to go to third choice, first two were out of stock. Nice ambiance and service was good Been here before and food was always good. Hope this was just an off night.

Classy French restaurant,great service. We were able to telecommute business,seminars and eat in a comfortable environment. Creole food items were seasoned wonderfully. Team Attorneys Military Mediators Consultants purchased bakery items for meetings,seminars are pleased. Beautiful desert presentation for family and clients.

We celebrated a birthday on this night. Kevin was our server. We were delighted and satisfied with our selections. One of us had steak fritte, one of us had salmon and one of us had mushroom crepe. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and wine pairings. We were not rushed from our table, and Kevin was wonderful. We’ll be back. Highly recommend.

Our visit to Suzette’s was outstanding! We were celebrating my mother’s birthday (she has passed) , this is a tradition for us as Suzette’s is a special place she and I shared. We were treated so well and her memory was celebrated by Suzette’s with a little special surprise birthday macaron - perfect ending to a perfect celebration- Suzette’s is the best ❤️

We LOVED our French tea at Suzette's! Everything was freshly made and delicious, and our waitress was very accommodating, even making me a second pot of tea when the first one didn't seem quite right. My friend and I both had the mushroom and onion crepes for the first course, and we appreciated the side salad that lightened it up. The scones in the second course were just out of the oven. Choosing the third (dessert) course was hard because of all the choices, but we decided on pastries from the bakery case, both of which were delicious. The only negative was that we were seated next to a drafty closed-off door in the bar area, when there seemed to be plenty of seats in the main dining room. The restaurant is quite charming, though, and we'll definitely be back.

Not too welcoming hostess; waitress almost takes my dessert off the table when I was eating. We went for 2 desserts and 2 coffees, the place was almost empty and hostess wanted to send us to the bar, even if all tables were empty; they charged higher price than the printed ones on the board, I asked why and cashier said “prices changed don’t even look”. Unpleasant experience with staff but coffee was good, at least.

We celebrated our anniversary at Suzette’s Creperie. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. We also found the music to be exceptional. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and enjoyable atmosphere.

My daughter and I drove out to Wheaton 18 miles) to experience this French restaurant. It is a lovely place, in a very old building. When you walk in, there is a huge step with no railing. I'm not steady walking quite yet because of spinal surgery. So, anyone handicapped bring your walker or cane! We were warrmly greeted. I made our reservation on Open Table. It was quite busy at 12:45 pm but our table was waiting. Immediately, water was brought to the table by the manager. We were really hungry and patiently waited ONE HALF HOUR! before our waiter arrived. We ordered immediately. My daughter ordered the house specialty, Beef Bourguinon crepe with mixed greens. I ordered the Spinach and Gruyere crepe with lemon sauce, which also came with a mixed salad. Our waiter indicated it would be 20 minutes for the spinach crepe. Since we were so hungry, we both ordered the cups of French onion soup. Thank goodness we had something to eat, because I am a life long diabetic and my blood sugar was low. The food was delicious. It was also served 45 minutes later! When I tasted my daughter's Beef Bourginon, personally, I thought the dish was overly salted. She thought so, too. I could not eat it. We spent 2 hours and 15 minutes dining. We had to speak up to ask for our check. This is why I rated a 3. Average, no attention service. Overly salted the house specialty, which appeared delicious. We ran out of time to order a dessert for my daughter. Maybe this was an "off" day. It happens in restaurants. Next time, we decided to go for breakfast or for tea and pastries. Atmosphere was quite French, too. All in all, a nice atmosphere and rich French food!

Suzette's is a delightful place for afternoon tea. The waitstaff was excellent and the food delicious! I would highly recommend!

I had the goat cheese salad. It was very good but it was pricey for only getting one goat cheese medallions.v have had similar salads that were cheaper and just as good with at least 2.

It’s a charming restaurant with cozy lighting and thoughtful service however the food was overpriced and didn’t match up to our expectations. I had pork Tenderloin that seemed to be sitting around even though it was 6:30. The shrimp appetizer was tasteless and the sauce had to be from a jar. The apple crepe was good but could have been better since that’s their specialty. I was disappointed but willing to try them again in hopes it was an off night.

I would have given 5 stars, except that the beef Bourguignon crepe was unavailable that evening. We’ve dined there 3 times in the past year and the beef Bourguignon crepe was unavailable each time. There are few French restaurants in the Chicago area, and especially in the western burbs. So finding one, and especially a good one, has been a nice surprise. Suzette’s will be in regular rotation on our dining list.

Had Christmas tea today. Wonderful experience. Friendly service, delicious food and festive atmosphere. I really enjoyed my time at Suzette’s.

Had a wonderful breakfast sitting in the wing back chairs in front of the fireplace mantel. Suzette's Benedict Toasted Brioche with sliced ham with their 3 cheese soufflé and gruyère cheese baked is topped with a yummy lemon cream sauce. The soufflé is rich, creamy and light and oh so delicious. The staff was accommodating, always there when we needed beverage refills and made our time there extra special. Whether you want a quick bite by yourself, meeting with friends or want to celebrate a special life moment, Suzette's is the place to go! No time to stay and eat, then be sure to check out their amazing carry out bakery.

Appetizer and dessert were outstanding. Service from Shirley was even better.

We had one of our best dining experiences ever at Suzette's! Not only was the food excellent (it reminded us of our recent trip to Paris), but the ambience was awesome - perfect lighting and jazz music during dinner!

I made my reservation for the Christmas tea back in September, but C. carelessly failed to update my time request on the same day. So, instead of being in the main dining room, where we should have been, we were put at a table across from the bar away from the holiday atmosphere like an afterthought. While the mini food was delicious, our teacups were only refilled twice. Seeing as this is a Christmas TEA, why so stingy? Perhaps our table wasn't on their radar. Overall, not worth the price.

Terrible experience for Christmas tea. From getting a reservation through every point of the 2-hour tea, the service was just short of openly hostile. I called for a reservation in November. I had to call a few times on different days to get ahold of someone. When I finally spoke to someone, the person was so rude, sighing that I wanted a reservation. I made it clear on the call if they were already booked, no worries! I get it is a busy season and so hard to get staff right now. She said no it was fine (yikes). She asked if there were any dietary restrictions, I mentioned that I was vegetarian, but it was ok not to do anything different since I know it is a preset menu. She was clearly irritated that I existed, but said they had a different menu. I chalked it up to a bad day, and moved on. When we arrived for tea on Saturday (20 minutes before the service), I found only steps into the restaurant. I looked for signs to a wheelchair entrance but found none. I tried calling several times, but got no answer. When my friend arrived she went in to ask, and we were sent around back. It is in a courtyard with an open sewer, and a car blocking the way to get in. I was able to barely squeeze past and my friend lifted furniture out of the way. The door was locked and we waited and waited in the cold for someone to let us in. Another patron sitting at a table tried unsuccessfully to flag someone down too. Finally someone opened the door, and immediately barked at us that we should have told her we were coming (after I'd waited in the cold for nearly half an hour). My friend patiently explained that she had just been inside asking. I also explained that I tried to call. The person just huffed and said here this table is special for you (lol clearly not since you were just yelling at us for not telling you we were coming). It was a table near the bathroom with servers rushing past and faraway from what looked like a lovely set up with a piano and centerpieces in the main area. After several minutes, someone stopped by and asked us what tea we wanted. No listing of any options, no welcome, nothing. We rushed to try to pick something since it was clear the server only had a few seconds. We had to ask for cream and sugar. Unlike many of the nicer establishments, the sugar was just dumped in packets on the table. There was not even enough regular sugar. The tea was not steeped for long enough and was just poured. No pot was left at the table. Then the server came by and dumped the first course. No presentation, no explaining what each item was, nothing (this was the norm throughout). Mine arrived with the meat portions. At this point, I was not going to say anything and just get through it, but my friend caught the server before he ran away and reminded him that I was vegetarian. He just took the plate back and arrived with a new plate several minutes later. All they did was replace the meat parts with extra cucumber sandwiches. I couldn't believe it. Why bother asking (and, frankly, implying there were actual alternatives) if you don't actually do anything different. I scarfed down six tasteless, stale sandwiches since I'd driven an hour and half to get to this stupid tea and was starving and cold at this point. The quiche was fine. Probably could've gotten the same thing at Costco. Even though servers were rushing past our table, we had to routinely flag down anyone to get seconds of what they were serving. No one ever came around with more tea, so we had to wave someone down to ask (and at that point we had to ask a few people just to get a single refill). The scone course was great. Fresh and warm. Delicious. No seconds were offered on that. The final dessert course was ok, nothing special. But again, I would've liked to actually drink tea with the cookies, but it was hard to get anyone's attention. I hesitated to write any review, I get times are tough and there are off days, and patience is needed. But this went so beyond that. The service from reservation to when the check was thrown on our table was just short of hostile.

The food was very good. The service and availability of items was not. I've been to breakfast and tea before but would not recommend dinner due to our experience.

Service was uneven. Our waitress would disappear for periods 0f time and then started clearing dishes before everyone in our party was done and asking about dessert The food was well prepared bit the portion of sole that I was given was no more than 2 bites, more than 2 oz. Very over priced for what you got.

We love the food, but the wine pours on our last visit were very skimpy and inconsistent across servings.

We were seated for the first time in the rear of the restaurant and appreciated the quieter and still pleasant ambience of the location. The service was great and the food, as always, was delicious and plated so attractively. Love Suzette's!

I have had extraordinary meals here but I had the worst experience I have ever had there. We ordered two French onion soups, one pumpkin soup, a side salad, and a pate appetizer. We were there for over an hour and a half when they weren’t busy, and for some reason the side salad and pate took 20 minutes to come out after we were done with our soups. My family and I always enjoy the French onion soup, since it is fresh and full of flavor. All of our soups were luke warm, and for the French onion soup the cheese was not melted well. To add, the salad wasn’t dressed with any dressing, which the server did correct. However, our pate dish could have been much better. Our toasted points were soggy, and didn’t taste like brioche. I expect better of this place, but during the holiday season you will most likely be disappointed. Go during the summer and you will most likely have a better experience.

The food, service and ambiance at Suzette’s are first rate. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of savory and sweet items serviced throughout the two-hour Christmas tea. A mini-portion of hot pumpkin soup, mushroom flaky appetizer, chicken salad, ham salad, cucumber sandwich, scones, biscuits, and mini-cupcake were beautifully presented. The restaurant is immaculate; the live piano music made it extra special.

This was our first visit to Suzette's Creperie. It was wonderful. From the salad to dessert, every bite was satisfying. It is not inexpensive but is worth the price paid. Nice wine list. Whether you want crepes, quiche or an entree there are many choices. The eggs are like fluffy clouds! I had their special benedict made with their specialty cheese souffle. Not like any benedict I have ever eaten. Delightful! My husband had eggs with smoked salmon. Nice amount of food for him for brunch. We started with their soup of the day, a pumpkin soup as an appetizer. Very good! Our friends started with the mussels, prepared that day in a curry sauce. They said the mussels were very flavorful. One friend had a spicy shrimp crepe that he said had the right amount of spice--not too much to over-power the shrimp. Our other friend had the crab cakes. She said they were crab with not a lot of filler. For dessert we had a crepe Suzette -- fabulous! Our friends had the bananas foster. Everything was good. Dinner entrees came with a side salad that was a nice size with a signature dressing that did not overpower the salad of greens and fruit. We all definitely plan to eat here again! They also have a bakery attached, so if you have no room for dessert that day--there are many choices to take home with you.

Wonderful restaurant. The food is amazing—beautiful presentation and excellent quality. Authentic French wines, all kinds of cocktails, and scrumptious pastries. The service is very warm, friendly, and professional. The ambience is the cherry on top, makes you feel like you’re in France without leaving the comfort of Wheaton. 10/10 recommend!

It’s like being transported to Paris, France! From their beautiful breakfasts and delicious pastries to an elegant, romantic candlelit dinner in their authentic Parisian-like dining room… Suzette’s never disappoints! My favorite is the Sole Meunière, but their crepes are all amazing too!

We were seated as soon as we arrived and were waited on promptly by a lovely waitress. We have been to other French restaurants in the Chicago area and have to say the restaurant itself is very inviting. While the food was good it wasn't really great or memorable. I would recommend Suzettes to anyone in the area looking for a nice dining experience.

Having lunch at Suzette’s is a special treat. I find it best to make reservations because over the years I have seen people turned away at the door, because they were hosting a special party. I never liked that procedure. Ordered beef bourginon because it is the best anywhere! I order it for Christmas at home too!

I was meeting up with my daughter here for a nice conversation and lunch. Just the right atmosphere for a long ladies lunch. Neither of us cared for our chicken salad due to too much Mayo but it really did not matter. We did not come for the food. We should have just ordered one of their amazing French treats from the patisserie. I will definitely go back and just choose something else on the menu.

For many years I have been a fan and supporter of Suzette’s. The atmosphere, food and service are always consistent and outstanding. It is a jewel in a sea of many restaurants.

Had lunch arrived around 11:30. The restaurant is very pretty and you immediately feel good as the atmosphere was delightful. They have a fresh bakery counter with baked goods including quiche to take home. They have a large selection of gelato as well. My friend ordered the chicken sandwich and I ordered the spinach /cheese crepes. They said on the menu it would take 20 minutes minimum for the crepes. The drinks we ordered came pretty slow but the food came up pretty quickly. It was delicious. I couldn't find any faults. We both ordered a broccoli cheese quiche to go for $28 each. The reason I gave a low score for service was it took a long time to get our check , she never checked it with us at our table and charged us for the wrong order. We had to get it straightened out and then she forgot to get us our gift certificate we had bought as we had to come back into the restaurant to obtain it. It was a bit of a hassle to check out. The food was fabulous and the restaurant was beautiful. Service was off today.....

Beef bourbignon crepes were a serious disappointment. They were ordered by all three diners and the assessment was shared. The taste, quality of the beef , tomato base was all markedly different from having it on past visits. So sorry.

The food is very good. It is a nice quiet atmosphere, where you can actually talk and visit with your friends and family. It is a very nice dining experience any time of day, breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also sell beautiful pastries and have great pies.
