I wish it could reopen up again, I really miss this restaurant good food good atmosphere

It has good food! But it's still closed! Eventhough it says open :/

It was my favorite place for a full size coconut curry prawn and rice bowl. It's sad that is been closed due the covid-19. Hope it reopens soon!

I did weigh my food just to see if it was an honest restaurant. One of my dishes weighed the right amount. But the expensive dish came up short. This will be on the “no go place” list. Should just bring back the old owners.

My experience wasn’t good at all. Service is HORRIBLE and there’s nothing much to say about the NASTY flavor of their food... the prices are too high for the portion they offer.

Garlic noodles is where it's at, I had crawfish as well but those garlic noodles though. Quiet place and the service was good, small staff, might get a little slow if they get busy but all around a good cajun place.

I can't believe how inexpensive the food here is. I've been here way too much and I don't even live in SF. The only real issue is how messy things can get when you start digging in

pretty ok food. we got the dinner for 2 crab and they never gave us our bangaise or whatever desert it comes with. the hottest sauce they have was ok, but it tasted like a ramen noodle packet seasoning with hot stuff. also, it came with some coldspawns, which was bland and had way too much vinegar. definately not worth the 74 dollars it comes out to after taxes, service was 5 out of 10 and the food was decent at best. wouldn't recommend. .

Good seafood, especially the King Crab Claws. And also liked the cajun food, like the gumbo. But the gumbo was a little bland. Good as a side dish, not as a main dish. Also, the restaurant has a strong garlic smell. If that doesn't bother you, then this place is great!

Its okay not great. The mussles were the very large size. Not great quality. The staff is super friendly & the flavors of the boil are good. Alligator sausage 5 stars! A lot of the food is good. But a lot is not. I'd stay away from mussles & oysters.

Came from out of town. Looking for some king crab legs and must say this was exactly what we were looking for. Some of the best I have ever tasted. You were able to customize your flavor and spiciness. A must if you are looking for fresh crab legs!

The food was delicious. We were just driving around town and came upon this quaint restaurant. Everyone in the family loved the food. There was a ton of variety and some seafood dishes we had never tried before. My kids enjoyed cracking the crawdads and digging for shrimp in the soup.

The name is a put-off, but the food is good for the most part, and it's an interesting approach to cuisine. C'asian is a clever combination of Cajun and Asian. Good salad, gumbo, fried oysters and lemonade. Also good sauteed string beans Asian style. The hush puppies were more like corn fritters -- not like North Carolina hush puppies. We we're the only dinners there for lunch, but I do recommend looking past the name and trying Swamp.

My first time here. ordered 3 lbs of shrimp with corn and the flavor tasted watered down. Usually at a place like this, one would expect the food to be salty but it wasn't even close. I didn't even enjoy the shrimp either. My friends usually rave about this place, sadly it didn't hit the spot for me.

Order seafood by the pound and choose your sauce. I'm not a fan of crawfish (where's the meat?!) But the king crab leg was good - can never get enough sides!

Good food if you have the patience enough for it. After today I doubt I will return. The service is so slow n irritating. In the middle of taking our order the waitress left in the middle of speaking in to answer the phone and took minutes taking an order instead of putting the person on hold n finishing our order first. Also it was about 9 o'clock at n pretty empty n wanted to move us from a 8 person table to a 4 person table because we were only 5 of us. Why? The food is pretty good but I'd probably order to go next time or delivery. The hurricane flavor is the best. Wish they'd get their act back together

One of the best spots for seafood in the neighborhood. Sauces are delicious so grab some noodles and French bread to use up all the sauce once you finish your crab or prawns.

LOVE Lucille's! Absolutely order their Southern Fried Chicken. Your tastebuds will thank you. Good quality at a good price in a clean, inviting atmosphere. Make sure if they ask you if you want bread you take it, warm delicious house made biscuits with sweet butter is a great way to start an authentic barbecue meal.

Un poco fuera del camino trillado tanto en escenario y cocina. Pantano en el boulevard geary está a una corta distancia a pie de la parada de autobús 38. Paré aquí en el camino de vuelta de Lands End a las 5 de la tarde, que estaba vacía. El servidor hablaba muy poco inglés, pero nos las arreglamos bien. Las ofertas son una extraña combinación de cajún y asiáticos. A LA PARRILLA comparte el menú con salchichas alligator fideos con ajo. Salchichas, gumbo, fritos de cangrejo de concha blanda. . Todos un poco pesado en la sal, un poco demasiado en el Gumbo, harina, pero los precios eran justo con una generosa hora feliz. Por el precio y la oportunidad para un poco de algo diferente, vale la pena probar el pantano.

It's not comparable to restaurants in NOLA but the food is good. Gumbo and fried shrimp were really delicious but we can't recommend the shrimp beignet. Only 1 out of 4 contained any shrimp.

Esta tienda de estilo louisiana tiene un largo y razonable a la hora feliz. Mi hijo y yo disfrutamos de una docena de ostras frescas, crudas. Cangrejo de caparazón blando frito, calendario y los fideos fritos, ajo -- menos de $50! Si estás en el distrito de richmond, merece la pena una visita.

Pedimos 4 libras de camarones. Mi única queja sería que el tamaño de los camarones variado mucho. Teníamos 2 lbs. de cajun picante con algunas salchichas, que era muy bueno. The food was good but the review receives 3 stars because the lack of service. The waitress could not figure out what table ordered what between the only three occupied tables in the restaurant. The waitress never came back to fill our water glass and I had to remind her half way through our meal that we were still waiting for our garlic noodles. Ya I'm not coming back here. When you pay to eat out, the service is as important as the taste of the food.

I totally can recommend this restaurant. The sea food is great. It's sort of Asian-fusion food, run by Chinese. So be prepared to shell you shrimps. The sauce Hurrican Cajun is delicious, especially when you pour some over the garlic noodles. It'd definitely worth a visit.

I have eaten here several times, but this last time was the best! The food was delicious and the service was amazing. I will definitely think of the Swamp as my go to place when I'm in the mood for Cajun food or spice.

Great place to make a stop while hiking San Francisco hills. Loved the oysters and calm chowder. Not too much Cajun. We didn't try their boils but the boil dishes looked great on other tables.

My mom & I went here twice on our 5 day trip to San Francisco. We really enjoyed our meals. The dinner for two was amazing and portion sizes were very generous. We were full to the brim when our waiter reminded us our dinner came with dessert. Beignets made from scratch 💜!! We had to go back to try the crawfish stuffed beignets. Dipped in clam chowder this was my favourite meal! Also if you love fresh oysters check them out during happy hour, they are $1.25 per oyster & so good. Thanks Swamp for the awesome dining experience while in San Francisco!!!

Delicious shrimp boil with hurricane sauce. Lip smacking, finger licking goodness. The shrimp [more like prawns] were huge.

Have been here many times and have never been disappointed. The food is good, prices reasonable and service is really good. Lots of parking in the area.

Not quite as down & dirty as the Boiling Crab, but a great place for a group meal in the city!

Come for happy hour! You can get free fries by checking in (on Yelp). The calamari was pretty good and same with the oysters. My problem is that the food "signature" is pretty much the same for a few of their items.

$1.25 oysters during their happy hour. They have happy hour daily from 2-6pm.

Coconut curry boil is amazing. When crawfish are in season: get them. The happy hour is a great deal and they had delicious oysters!! Definitely going again.

As far as Cajun buffets, they are slightly on the milder side. That's not a knock in anyway, because the flavor can be as rounder rather than bombastic.

Not a bad place for crab and seafood boil. The 2 or 3 item combo for $14/lb is a great deal. Crab is currently $45 for 2lb whole. They give you bibs and wet wipes too!

We tried dining at this restaurant last night using a Groupon and were not disappointed in the meal. We arrived at about 5:00 p.m. and they were promoting their Happy Hour Specials but we could not participate due to our Groupon discount. We selected the crab dinner for 2 for $59. It included cole slaw, clam chowder, one crab, garlic noodles and beignet dessert. Ordering this way, we saved about $3.00 compared to ordering all the items a la carte. The cole slaw was OK. Clam chowder tasty. Crab was around 2 lbs and we selected the garlic/butter sauce which was quite good, garlic noodles a bit dry and beignet dessert was ok. All in all, not a bad dinner for the price. Service was a bit slow as our dinner took about 1-1/2 hours+ to complete. I would return and try some of their other items like shrimp and crayfish. If you go, go early as there was a waiting line at 6:00 p.m.

Maybe it's because I come from a country surrounded by ocean but this joint was really disappointing. The saltiness of this place is mind blowing. I got a pound of shrimp and snow Swamp and couldn't even finish half of it. Oh man I miss boiling crab.

YUM. Came here on a Saturday night around 7:30pm with my parents. The place had a good crowd but a few tables were still open so we were seated right away. We shared a bunch of things: Cajun fries: 4-stars. Checked in on Yelp to get the cajun fries for free. Super crispy, well-flavored, but quite over salted, leaving my lips dried out. Had they not been so salty, these would have been 5-stars. Crawfish beignets: 2-stars. Firstly these were nothing like beignets, they were closer to small calzones. The dough wasn't fried like donuts but instead quite bready and crusty on the outside, and the filling was cheese, peppers, onions, and crawfish, a mix of flavors that didn't come together as expected. Want crawfish beignets? Go to Brenda's EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Alligator sausage: 5-stars. Sliced down the middle, then seared on the flat side, bringing out the subtle spice notes and lean flavor that made these sausages awesome. Served on the side with a very creamy, if a bit watery, slaw. Hush puppies: 3-stars. Too dense for my liking, you could tell they were made with very thick batter, and the outside was almost too corn-starchy. There were real chunks of corn inside though, which I appreciated, and the side dipping sauce was creamy with a bit of pickle flavor. Dungeness crab with hurricane sauce (medium spicy): 4-stars. Should have asked the market price before ordering, definitely got skewered on that one. The crab itself was pretty good, though the meat was a bit tough to get out. The hurricane sauce was like saucy cajun seasoning and had a nice kick to it. Clams & shrimp with coconut curry sauce (medium spicy): 5-stars. Clams were perfectly cooked and the shrimp came properly done with the heads and legs and everything still on. The coconut curry sauce was the perfect mix of creamy and spicy and it went AWESOME over the garlic noodles. Garlic noodles: 4-stars. Pretty standard garlic noodles, good, though not the best I've ever had. Chunks of garlic, sticky noodles, and complemented nicely with the sauces from the shellfish. Green beans: 4-stars. Also pretty standard with visible chunks of garlic, soy flavors, and appropriately blistered crunchy beans. A great green side for the otherwise fried meal. Overall, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this place. Had I asked about the crab ahead of time, the price would have been perfect too. I'll definitely be back here.

From appetizer down to our main, everything was awesome. We ordered calamari and the alligator sausage. Both were mouth melting. That sausage was so delly jelly.. lol I ordered shrimp and clams. I had to order rice because it was that good. My tummy was happy.. A must try...

We arrived in San Francisco late one night and just needed some quick simple food. This place was open and seated us quickly. The staff were friendly and were able to accommodate for my food allergies. The food was nice, however it was quite pricey for the portion sizes.

I liked the service, although the waiter was quite funny he hovered around our table a little bit too long making jokes... The food was ok....I liked the noodles...the 5 spice chicken was very brown and i wasn't sure what cut of the chicken I had...sorry I can't comment on the taste of it...it was a little wierd looking so I didn't eat it. The $40 crab was good and as everyone commented the sauce was the boss...very good sauce.

I absolutely hate the name of this place, but love their garlic noodles. What a horrible name for a place. But if you don't want to go all the way to Perilla to go get the garlic noodles come here instead. Same owners I believe. And 15% Off during happy hour(s) 3pm to 6pm. Oh yeah um seafood. They serve that too.

Really delicious Nawlins style restaurant. We ordered the shrimp seafood boil with the garlic butter sauce. It was really filling and big enough to share. I would recommend trying the grilled alligator (really yummy seasoning) and the seafood gumbo. The oysters weren't the best I've had in the city. Definitely order some beignets, especially if you've never tried them.

Been eating at Swamp since it opened and still love it!! I can honestly say I've tasted 90% of the menu. LOVE how the boils are served in bowls instead of plastic bags - guaranteed to never leave hungry! Choose between Crab, shrimp, mussels, clams and crawfish or mix them up! Perfect for large parties and bringing out of town friends. They get Asian inspired food AND seafood! Favorite dishes - shrimp, alligator sausage and garlic noodles. The service is really quick, the menu very extensive and the prices are very reasonable.

I had a soft shell crab po' boy and my friend had the alligator po' boy... And let me tell you, they were delicious! Service was great and did I mention how delicious the food was?

Good as all the others but the service is what sets this place aside from the rest. Very accommodating to your needs. The manager always has a smile on his face and is genuinely grateful for your business.

Swamp is becoming my favorite local spot in San Francisco whenever I crave for seafood now. Finally I found a Cajun place that doesn't serve food out of plastic bags. Crab or lobster in garlic butter sauce is the bomb. Get it!
