This store is great ! They have a lot of artists from different countries and music genres, very diverse, and they are very nice and helpful with people !

Such a good place to get vinyls the staff is so friendly and they always take such good care of me. They will always remember y music taste and if they get a vinyl I was interested in before they will let me know that they have it in store. The pets are so cute it’s like the little bonus of being there thank you sweat records

Nice shop with a whole lot of potential. I wanted to see if some of the staff complaints were true. The staff was excellent during my visit. I literally asked for K-Pop, and Steve worked diligently to find something for me. My only complaint is the parking situation and the prices on average are high but not crazy! About $5-$8 more.

Awesome little hidden gem keeping the local artist scene alive after so many small-time venues kicked the bucket. Keep a look out for their events. They have a good eye for local talent and have a great selection of records available for sale.

We went for a listening party for the new Kacey Musgraves album. Staff were friendly and ran that well. Store itself has a nice variety of new and used records. They have a fairly extensive selection of dollar records to sift through if that's of interest to you. They also had a section of 7 inch records that were 4 for $1. Parking is a bit hard, but you can get away with parking over the white lines directly in front of the store.

I went to Sweat Records on a weekend trip to Miami and had a great time. The store has an excellent selection across a number of genres and is a great place to discover something new or different. I thought the international section was particularly well curated, but the selections were thoughtful throughout. Plenty of good stuff in the new arrivals sections too. It’s a nice, clean space that invites prolonged browsing. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even shipped my purchases for a tiny charge so I didn’t have to worry about the records getting wrecked on my flight home.

Such amazing people!!! I was in a bind and stuck in traffic on my way from pretty far and was going to arrive a bit past their closing time. They accommodated a pick up for me which saaaaved me since it was a birthday gift for that same day! Above and beyond customer service. Five stars!

Vinyl records-12"singles and albums. Sometimes an obscure title can be found here. Brings back memories of a time before digital downloads. Not too many of these stores remaining. A greatly helpful staff,too. I visit once a week.

Was here for a special event. Old style vinyl record shop, how retro is that. People are very nice and helpful.

Long time record collector. My first visit to Sweat Records was good. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but I guess that's any big city. I was instantly welcomed in. The staff was very attentive. The shop is well organized, clean and easy to navigate. Sweat is a relatively small store, but the selection offered something for all tastes. I was a bit disappointed with the used Hip-Hop and reggae section though. I'm sure some good stuff comes through, but just not when I was there. I did grab a few used records. All were fairly priced. I think if you are in the area, it's worth a visit.

An excellent record store. The staff was very welcoming and friendly from the moment we walked in. Great selection of music and much of which surprised me. To this day they are the only record store I’ve seen to have a designated Swamp Dogg section. They also have a great punch card system in place to encourage regulars. Will be back - likely far too frequently.

After looking in 4 other record stores in Miami for a copy of the new Arcade Fire album in white vinyl, I could finally find it at Sweat Records. They were responsive via IG and provided me with an easy way to order online and pick up at a later time. When I stopped by to pick up the record, it was beautifully wrapped showing lots of attention to detail. I spent 20 minutes browsing through the store and ended up picking up a rare used Flaming Lips vinyl. I am definitely coming back again.

Looking for records, CDs or zines? Then this is the spot! Don't doubt them because of the area these people know music and will be glad to help you with any questions you got. I personally learned about the shop from Ale Campos and Gabriel duque who constantly shared the magical place in their instagram. And am I glad to have taken advantage of an early day off work to visit, see picture attached to see what I grabbed on my visit!

I bought a record there and unfortunately when I got home and opened it, it was missing one of the discs. I don’t live in Miami, so when I called and let them know it was missing a disc, they immediately sent me a new one and it got here in 2 days. The nicest people with a wonderful selection! Next time I go back to Miami I will definitely be visiting this store again :)

really enjoyed our time here. the couple staff were quite knowledgeable, and they were still adhering to person limits inside the store, which was nice. decent selection of new and old, genre to genre. prices were about on par with other locations. helpful to try to find and/or order anything that they don’t have or don’t have right now. they also have a nice loyalty program of 12x $15 records will get you a free $20. will be back to continue our collection.

Sweat Records has been one of my favorite places in Miami since I moved here 8 years ago. The staff is super cool and down to earth. Loved seeing bands there pre-covid(hopefully that happens again when it’s safe), and the selection is great.

It’s a small record store due to pandemic only 5 customers are allowed at a time, don’t let that dissuade you it’s worth the wait. I found their selection to meet both my daughter’s (15 yr. old) taste and my taste as well. The staff is chilled and very helpful. Found some hard to find new pressings. I like to support local record stores, been going to Yesterday and Today as well when it was In South Miami since the 80s and latest location as well. Sweat records have a selection of used vinyl and CDs as well. You can order online and do curbside pick up as well. If you’re local and you buy enough records they do offer perks as well.

Sweat Records is the best! Owner and staff are awesome, super helpful, never pretentious, always working to build an inclusive local scene. And the Sweat Records website is great! Do not give Bezos your money; Sweat ships vinyl to family and friends everywhere. When there's not a global pandemic, they have great events, usually all-ages. Or you can catch a drink and a show nextdoor at Churchill's after you're done shopping. I've visited the shop a few times during the pandemic to pick up records ordered through the website, and their in-person safety protocols are top notch. I can't wait to be able to visit more often and for longer! Miami is lucky to have this gem of a record store.

Fast, fun, friendly, and most of all conscientious service. Terrific, eclectic selection of records. Happened to luck out and get free stuff because of a sales event, but this place rules regardless!
