Delicious, filling salads. They have gluten free and dairy free salads that taste delicious, like I'm not missing anything.

I genuinely think that the O’Malley Olive sandwich is the greatest sandwich I’ve ever had. The layers and care that is put into making it is clear, and the bread is fantastic to top it off! I am not someone who likes buying premade sandwiches but the sandwiches here are always fresh and delicious. I think I’ve had a sandwich here 3 times in the last two weeks. Love them.

😍🍥 These macarons are amazing!!! Each one had its own unique flavor profile like their “rose lychee” where first you are introduced to the effervescence of the rose then comes the sweetness of the lychee! The passion fruit macaron was probably the best I’ve ever tasted with the Orange Creamsicle as close second! Sooo good!!!

We had an excellent experience with Sweet Caribou providing desserts for our wedding. The owner and staff had great communication, anticipated needs and most importantly the desserts (macarons and others) were all wonderful!

I accidently walked in almost 10 minutes before they officially opened, but was greeted, and order was taken with no problems. Got the turkey sandwich toasted, which, while simply made, was really fresh with quality ingredients. Came with a side quinoa, kale & fruit salad, which was amazing. Their salads to go seemed super popular, so I'll be back. An open doorway leads you to the Bema coffee shop next door, and their mocha was on point. Definitely recommend this place.

everything about this place is perfect. and soooo needed here in anchorage. i feel like there is nothing like it! spenard turkey sandwich hot is to die for. kenai quinoa salad is our other fav. staff is bubbly and chill but also professional. well done sweet caribou. and the coffee next door may be the best ive ever had.

Got the egg salad sandwich for lunch today, with a sparkling juice. It was good, I don't know if it was $18 good, but pretty tasty. I think I prefer the salads.

I ordered chocolate cupcakes for my mom’s birthday. I had to work so they just dropped off the order in front of my door. So professional, thorough and efficient. And the cupcakes were delicious!

We had salads from Sweet Caribou included in our tour with Salmon Berry tours. They were fabulous. They were large, well-made, fresh and would highly recommend.

Decided to get some for dessert on Easter. They were a hit! Loved all the different flavors, and one was even diary-free, so my sister-in-law could try one as well. My favorite was the birthday cake flavor. Will definitely return to try other flavors.

Great food as always. I loved the sammy of the week. I would love it if you found a better way to present your to-go sandwich though. The taped paper at the bottom makes it all but impossible to separate the halves and not spill the sandwich contents everywhere. Maybe forgo the tape all together?

Very delicious food, from the salade, and many great sandwiches to choose from. You also can't go wrong with the macaroons!

Online ordering is not adequate, actually deceptive. You have various options that aren't offered online... apparently your expected to just know and put that in the notations? Also very light on the horseradish, had to disect the sandwich to check that it was there.

Wow! What a great place for lunch. We showed up with a big group. Eddie took our order. He was friendly and super patent with my kids. Hemade sure everyone got what they wanted. The sandwiches are delicious. We are definitely coming back!

The employees of Sweet Caribou exhibit some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. We just picked up an online order for lunch and one of the sandwiches was incorrect. We are in the midst of a snowstorm and they delivered the correct sandwich and refunded the card. Everyone involved was so friendly and apologetic, not to mention all the lunches come with a mini macaron and a bottled water. I'm very impressed.

They catered for an event and brought everything that we ordered at the time they said they’d be there! They provide really generous portions and nice service wear, including sturdy plastic plates you can easily wash and use again. We ordered two salads and a variety of sandwiches. They cut the sandwiches in half and the haves were plenty big for everyone to enjoy. All the salad toppings made the lunch hearty while accommodating multiple dietary restrictions. And don’t get me started on the macaroons! Delicious. I would definitely order their catering again!

Delicious salads! Very kind and helpful staff! I left my purse there by total accident, realized my mistake, and called them in a panic. They were kind enough to grab it, hold it, and make sure it came back to me safely! I absolutely cannot recommend them enough, not only for the food but for the safety and help they gave me when I was seriously in trouble!

Decided to finally check this place out after hearing lots of good reviews. Love most weekly sandwich specials. The normal sandwiches are just not for me, too dry and missing flavor. Macarons are good, just wish they had more dye free options

I visited Sweet Caribou after seeing pictures here. The shop is super cute just like in the pics but... I paid over $13 for 6 macaroons. 2 of the 6 were pretty tasty and the rest were okay. My huge complaint is that instead of using safe food based colors for their products, they use toxic food colorings. Because of this, I will not be going back. I hope in the future they choose to use quality options for their macaroons because their customers deserve better.

Definitely one of the better sandwiches I’ve had in town. It’s tucked away in a strip mall, but it’s a hidden gem. How many places in town have fresh flowers on each table?! You get a mini macaroon with your sandwich or salad. Their full sized salads are great, but they’re probably most well known for their macaroons (or “macarons”). The kombucha place next door is great too.

Despite all the hype I was not impressed with the sandwich. They piled all of the toppings right in the center of the sandwich so there was just bread on the last 1 inch around and it wasn't even that good. The macrons were fine

The pre-made salads are excellent. They're priced right around $15 and it was a lot of food. They even gave me a free water bottle.

Delicious salads, sandwiches, and of course the macarons!! We often order from them for our work meetings and they are amazing to work with. Very easy online platform for ordering and they promptly deliver our food on time (and for free!). I’m always excited to try a new flavor of sandwich/salad/sweet.

Sweet Caribou has become my go to for work day lunch, their salads with a bottle of water and a macaroon definitely worth it. My favorite is the kale salad, my second is the Denali beet salad, all the others are great too, also they have awesome sandwiches made on fresh baked inhouse bread, also be sure to check out their next door neighbors Bema Cafe they have breakfast burritos served from open 6am till close at 2pm and Zip Kombucha. The photo added is of a Ginger Rodgers kombucha and a Matcha Tea @Bema Cafe.🙂

Called in my order for two of the salad bowls, the Bristol Bay Bacon and the Denali Beet, on a Thursday afternoon for pick-up. The salad was HUGE and came with bottled water and a mini macaroon. $12.50/ea My friend was dubious about salads for lunch as he is a total carnivore but even he had to admit the the Bristol Bay was delicious and filling. We also picked up 6 standard sized holiday macaroons; I'd recommend the orange cranberry. The place was busy but we didn't have to wait over a minute or two and the staff was very friendly.

I am a Sweet Caribou LIFER!!!! This place has the best salads I've ever had. Worth every penny. To top it off, the employees are amazing. They seem like they want to be there. I haven't tried their new menu items because I'm so stuck on the Kenai Kale Quinoa salad but will eventually. There macarons are a perfect amount of sweetness to finish off with. Everything is always consistent and I love the fresh local ingredients.

The salads are wonderful and come with a small macaron. If the bite-sized macaron doesn’t satisfy your sweet tooth, and assorted set of full-sized will.

The macaroons are tasty. They come in an assortment of flavors with some variation week to week. Examples include mint chocolate, Fred Flinstone (with fruity pebbles/confetti), Mocha Hug, Early Grey, Rose Lychee, and Pink Lemonade, to name a few. If you get a box of 6, cost is $12, but there are larger box options as well. My kid had the Fred Flinstone and when asked to pick 2 words to describe it, he said "yummy" and "sweet." They can be a little sweet, but not overly so.

A one stop shop for a delicious meal, drinks, and dessert! One of my very favorite places in Anchorage, AK.

Our office ordered sandwhiches and they were delicious. The bri and turkey were our favorites. As always ALL the salads are fantastic!

Wife ordered a delicious sandwich (which of course I sampled) and I ordered a butterscotch cupcake which was one of the best I've had. Extremely clean and upscale facility as well. I guess I'll never get used to AK prices...that's the only reason not a 5.

Sweet Caribou has the best Macaroons ever!! Soooo bomb!! 😌 And there salads are to die for as well. My favorite is the Cordova Keto Cobb which is available the 2nd week of the month. There food is ALWAYS super fresh and consistent. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great fresh lunch or to please there sweet tooth.

I came across this place at the state fair, so I didn't have free reign to comb through their whole menu. Their claim of "Alaska sized flavor" is very accurate. All the macarons I tried had very strong, distinct flavors, as advertised, and they were very soft and delicate. Birthday cake is supposedly a fan favorite, and was one of my favorites as well. However, red velvet was my winner from the box. Not a single macaron was sub-par; I enjoyed all. I saw multiple flavors here I've never seen at other French bakeries, so they get creativity points. Super cool folks were working the booth too. I would definitely go out of my way to check out their store next time.

My order wasn't delivered. I talked with them and they were very apologetic and delivered my salad right away and they threw in a cupcake for the trouble. Ok...that was the best cupcake I've ever had! This needs to be a option on the lunch menu online. I'd totally order a cupcake with my salads!

Nice place for sandwiches and salads. The macarons are yummy. The Ruben, Turkey and Beet sandwiches are substantial and taste good. They close very early so get your sandwich orders in by 3pm.

Great place to grab a quick lunch! Every salad I've tried has been great! I 💙 the small macaroon included with each salad, such a treat! The Denali Beet & Kenai Kale are my two favs!!

Have been coming here for lunch quite regularly, I love the huge sandwiches! It comes with a bottle of water and even a mini chocolate macaroons. The sandwiches are so big that I have to take the other half home with me sometimes 😆 I can usually eat the whole thing if I’m hungry enough though. The salads here are also super yum! Cant really go wrong here and they’re working on expanding seating. Also the desserts/baked goods are *chefs kiss*

Hands down, one of my favorite places to eat! Some of the salads are second to none, such as the kale and quinoa and also the beat salad! My favorite two, so stuck on them it’s hard to try anything else. However; recently I’ve been trying their sandwiches and I do say, they are exceptional! Had the pastrami one day, and the smoked turkey another! All meals come with a sweet treat macaroon and bottled water. Great deal, and all very uplifting and healthy.

Instead of a birthday cake that no one ever wants to eat, I decided to do a macaron tower from Sweet Caribou and boy was that a hit! Not only that, the customer service was outstanding and everyone really made me feel my business was important to them. You can also tell how passionate they are about their macarons and other culinary offerings. That kind of pride translates into an all around amazing experience from order to bite after yummy bite! I'm definitely forgoing a cake from now on and just using Sweet Caribou as my provider of sweets and treats!

I can’t leave a picture because I ate all 6 of my macarons on my flight home to Florida. James was SO nice! His macarons and hospitality were the perfect ending to a fun Alaskan vacation. Do yourself a favor and visit Sweet Caribou.

My fruity pebbles ice cream macaron was just amazing. Everything I tried was so good. They also have cupcakes and a variety of sweets. The carrot cake cupcake was the best I’ve ever had!! My salad was delicious. All of the macaron flavors were great, we can’t wait to come back on our next visit to anchorage! 🤩

Staff says it’s made fresh daily but it’s definitely not. You can tell how hard it is to bite into some of the macarons (room temp.) And if it is fresh why does it have to be refrigerated to preserve it, if you make it daily?!! 😂🥲 just wanted a reliable macarons place with soft macarons 😭😭 my name is Karen today

ABSOLUTELY DELCIOUS! MAGNIFICENT! I like them better than most macaron places in Chicago (hometown) and that's saying something. They had their anniversary party this past week and I was in town for my birthday - they had excellent variety and were very friendly! I can't wait to come back! Please eat here. Keep them open! I have been meaning to check out Sweet Caribou for a while now and WOW have I been missing out! I will probably have to treat myself once a week. You really can’t beat the price, quality and delivery especially at such a reasonable price! I ordered 2 salads, just because I couldn’t decide. I had the Kenai Kale Quinoa today and it was delicious 😋

2021- update I love the store front expansion that they’ve done this year. Today I drove Just to come here and grab some Macarons. I love the cookies and cream, Fred Flintstone, red velvet, marshmallow chocolate, almond joy, birthday cake, root beer float, peanut butter and jelly, bananas Foster, rose lychee, Blood orange, maple bacon, Earl Grey, strawberry lemonade, & chocolate mint. They do have seasonal/holiday flavors, i wont them all but My favorites are: Pumpkin cheesecake, strawberry rhubarb, Neapolitan, ginger bread eggnog, peppermint bark, & chocolate covered strawberry. I really enjoy when I get to see the owner inside the shop he’s often doing deliveries but during lunch rush you can sometimes see him in there. He’s such a nice guy I really like him and his staff are always very friendly fast and knowledgeable. Which is why I will always come back. Often my family will give me for Mother’s Day or my birthday a gift card to go to Sweet Caribou or they pick up my favorite because they know what I like to come so many times. OK novel over 2019- The best. Amazing. Great price. Desserts for everyone i love the blondie cupcake. But my Fav is macaroons i have gotten them from all of their past pop up stands such as: Sears mall, Saturday market, the state fair and now their own store front. They have come alo g way. They do custom orders and the owner is such a friendly guy. Worth the hour drive from valley just to go their.
