Interesting menu with a variety of choices. All selections were tasty and well prepared. Our waitress was excellent & the noise level was perfect. We were able to converse without shouting.

Wow. We have had Thai food in many places across the world, including Thailand itself and this was not a disappointment. The first time I have had bison in a Thai dish and it was phenomenal. As always we highlight great service and Josie is a star. Don’t miss out on this place.

We ordered the pad thai and the green curry and both were very disappointing, especially in spite of the faux fancy atmosphere of the establishment. The pad thai tastes like ketchup and spaghetti with woody chicken. The green curry was marginally better, but still had the strange addition of chunks of raw tomatoes which are rather off putting in a hot soup dish. Would not recommend and would not go again.

This is a Very nice place. Very clean. Really nice service. Food and drinks are excellent. But from my heart, the music, makes me want to …. Words like throw up, or Run away, or wish my hearing was worse, come to mind. There’s many things to say here but none are good. Just let someone else do this part. Or turn it off.

Sweet chilis used to be my favorite restaurant in Bozeman but it’s really gone downhill. I’ve gone here more times than I can count and gotten takeout more times than I can count. I got cashew chicken and it was not seasoned at all. The chicken was super pale and didn’t taste like anything at all. I didn’t even eat half of it. Really really disappointing from a place I used to love.

The food was awesome. So was the ambience and experience. Stayed in Bozeman for 3 days of which for 2 nights had dinner here. Give it a try if u like Asian food

The food is very high quality and has unique subtle flavors that made it a special dining experience! Sage took excellent care of us and was very knowledgeable about the menu and about Thai food generally. This was a great dining experience and we will return again the next time we are in Bozeman!

We loved this place. Our server was great and our meal was outstanding. If you want a high-end Thai meal I would go to this restaurant. I would highly recommend this place. We tried the incredible salmon special and the drunken noodles dish was the best I have ever had.

Had the best time! Cashew chicken and drunken noodles were bomb. Layne(sp?) was the best bartender and our server and he made EXCELLENT drinks and the service was impeccable! Having visited tons of countries all over the world, I can quite easily say this is one of the best Asian fusion restaurants I have ever been to! Not only is the food incredible, but the service is top-notch as well. When we visited, we ordered the jumbo shrimp and it had a sauce so exceptional, I would die to have the recipe. We also got an alligator main dish, which, being from Florida, I had slights doubts at how good it would be. Surprisingly enough, it was better than anything I had at home! And these were just daily specials on a random weekday - not even regular menu items! I can’t even begin to imagine how wonderful the other items on the menu are. Sage was an exceptional waitress and kept us engaged, making the experience very enjoyable. Definitely one of the best waiters/waitresses I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. My girlfriend is gluten-free, and not only did Sage go out of her way to explain all gluten-free items on the menu, she was willing to have the entire kitchen cleaned to allow for zero cross-contamination! That is not something a normal restaurant does, and it was such an amazing gesture. I’ll definitely be recommending this restaurant to anyone who visits Bozeman! 😄

The atmosphere was so calming, no harsh lights or blaring music. Came out on a Tuesday and were immediately welcomed in. Our waitress Sage was absolutely amazing. She was extremely friendly and generous, truly a master at making the us feel comfortable and welcomed. When asked for a recommendation about a non alcoholic cocktail she immediately recommended the "prosperity". Absolutely delicious. Furthermore, for the main dish I ordered the cashew chicken and it was perfect. The chicken wasn't too dry or crispy and all the peppers were cooked till soft. Perfect for leftovers.

I’ve been going to sweet chili for years and eventhough I don’t live in Bozeman anymore, I make it a point to come here with my sister every time I visit. The food is amazing. It’s consistent too! Every time it tastes exactly the same as the first time I had it. Also, the owners and staff are the kindest most genuine people. Shout out to Sage especially! Definitely a must go!

Me and my wife loved the food here. We ordered the pineapple rice which was excellent. Also the curry salmon and a bison dish. Well were great. We ordered it to go and very friendly staff had it waiting when I arrived

We were the only table when we arrived. We waited an hour for your food while every new table was served. I asked to see the beer menu and they just brought a random beer out for me instead. We complained after waiting an hour for our food. When it finally came out it was cold. After we complained, the table next to us was told they had their drinks covered “for being so patient.” We were told they would give us “one free dessert to split between the four of us.” We are pretty understanding people but this was but we won’t be coming back

Sage was an amazing server! She was very easy to talk to and accommodated for my boyfriend’s cashew allergy. The Thai tea, green curry and pad thai are our favorites. We love Sweet Chili Bistro! Best Thai food in Bozeman with great servers!

Old menu was great and had a lot of vegan options. Went in recently and asked if anything could be made vegan (no big deal if you can't we'll just go elsewhere). We were told one of the fried rices could be. Came out twice wrong, once with chicken and shrimp the other time with egg, so we just got edamame. Asked if we could just order veggie rolls and was told they won't adjust the rolls. Definitely won't be going back. Also the price for the meal portions is pretty ridiculous.

My favorite restaurant in Bozeman! The locally sourced food is so flavorful and the service is outstanding. I love that I can see the food being prepared fresh, and you can taste it. 10/10 recommend!

Sage is my girl. i got the half rack of lamb and it was delicious. they were out of broccoli but they hooked it up with something better which was home grown tempura fried peppers ( they were the bomb) the service was exceptional and definitely will be coming back because of Sage’s service.

Absolutely love this place! Sage was our server and did an outstanding job. She gave her true honest opinion on anything we asked about. There were multiple times she would come over to check in but also just to have a good time with her guests. I fully plan to come back to have dinner!

Had a delicious and unique Mongolian bison stir fry dish, along with an excellent spicy huckleberry margarita! The stir fry has a 3 chili rating, but if you're used to spicy food, it really isn't too spicy, moreso sweet and savory. The spicy huckleberry marg is one of the best cocktails I've ever had (granted I love spicy cocktails!). It is made with tequila house infused with Thai chili and huckleberry, and has a yummy cinnamon salt rim. Highly recommend if you like spicy cocktails.

This place is terrible! Can’t believe it has this many stars. Way to expensive for what you get, the shrimp was gritty, probably still had sand it them. The food it was terrible.

Might want to update your hours of operation. Went this evening at 8pm. Woman at the front said it was closed. 🙄

Anja and Sage provided me AMAZING service and they should be an example to all servers out there wanting to do a fantastic job. They are a credit to Sweet Chili and if there were awards given to servers than these two would earn it a 100x over. If you ever get served by these two, know that you are in the best of hands and the best of care.

One of the worst excuses for asian food I have ever tasted. Staff were rude and food was sickening. The shrimp tasted off and the chicken was over-seasoned to the point that it was inedible. Could barely finish more then a few bites of either of our meals.

The chicken drunken noodles were super. I ordered them a 4/5 on spice level. They are not as spicy as Thai Basil, but they had more nuanced flavor and really hit the spot. We got there about 40 minutes before close and had quick and friendly service. I love the atmosphere and think the menu provides a good value for chicken dishes.

Really, really good. And the interior was very beautiful. A friend and I were coming back from Montana. You're eating a lot of beef on a trip like this. We stayed in Bozeman for a night and went to the downtown area just to check out the shops. Stumbled into this place and had the best meal of the whole trip. The menu had sushi, but had plenty of options for non-sushi people. The pot stickers were thin-skinned and perfect. I had the Wild Seafood Green Curry and it was so, so good. My friend had the 'Drunken Noodles' w/Chicken and was raving about the dish. We'd go back if it wasn't 17 hours away. I rarely give 5 stars, but you just couldn't have done anything better, Sweet Chili!

It was not the same sa it use to be. The flavor of the food was disappointing. Everything on the menu use to be great. Was always a family go to for 12yrs. We could not even substitute to tofu in a salad.

Extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. Last time we were there, it was a couple of years ago and the food was excellent. Tonight we started with egg rolls and pot stickers. The egg rolls were almost ALL dough with very little inside. The pot stickers were barely more than a bite and even then, didn't have much in the stuffing. For dinner I had the pineapple chicken with fried rice. While the flavor was OK, the dish was very dry. Would not order again.

Here for Valentine’s Day. Had the calamari, salmon and duck curry. Calamari was super light and crispy. Salmon was about the best I’ve ever had: thick piece that was crispy on the edges and melted in my mouth ( cooked to perfection)—amazing! My husband loved his curry, said the sauce was incredible. Overpriced and almost not palatable. I had duck in garlic sauce. It was about 3 ounces of tough and tasteless strips of duck in a sauce that appears to have been reheated more than once. When I first visited this place I thought it was a dream come true with the delicious well prepared lamb I ordered. The flavors were amazing paired with curry rice and broccolini. Well that’s pretty much it. Either that chef quit or there is an imposter in the kitchen. On two separate occasions I have tried a simple dish of salmon which turned out to be an epic fail. It’s either severely undercooked cooked or burnt and STILL undercooked in the middle. This has been a total turn off to me because I have tried. The staff is great….except for the “chef”. Sorry won’t be back but had to share the traumatic experience. Pad Kee Mao AKA Drunken noodles is my favorite meal. I knew the moment I opened the package from this place and saw it the color of Wonder Bread™ White it was going to be bland ,... and lacking even remotely enough sauce as it was the noodles instead of having a slick smoothness to them was more like pasty chalky semi dried Elmer's glue. I have eaten Pad Kee Mao in more countries than I can remember at more places than I could even fathom guessing. This place's rendition ranks as probably the worst & definitely the most expensive/overpriced I have ever encountered anywhere on the globe including London & DEFINITELY the most flavorless. In addition the same BLAND HARDLY FLAVORFUL reality was equally true for the pineapple rice. When I imagine who's actually cooking at this place I imagine someone getting out of a car in Manhattan with Connecticut plates. I can tell you with absolute certainty that the people who have positively reviewed this place are all extremely inexperienced diners and 99.9% White from places like the rural Dakotas = they wouldn't know good Thai food from Twinkies. The food here was so lame I'm genuinely embarrassed for them and resentful for the fact that it essentially amounts to a complete and total ripoff. The prices often indicative of a platter-sized portion come unable to satisfy all but a bird even in the case of wide thick noodles ?? Couture Fashion model portions.... & PRICED TO BUY THE OWNERS ANOTHER MERCEDES. Decided to try out this place per recommendation of some locals. Very nice atmosphere, very friendly staff, and good food. I opted for the salmon curry and must say it was very good. We love Sweet Chili and eat there regularly. The bison mongolian beef is literally one of my favorite asian dishes anywhere. I end up putting rice in the bowl after eating the meat and veggies, to absorb all the amazing tasty sauce. The sushi has more meat and is just as good as any of the dedicated sushi restaurants in town. The Lychee cocktail is amazing. Our favorite asian restaurant in town! We were in Bozeman on vacation and had the pleasure of dining at Sweet Chili. The entire experience was fabulous. The food was absolutely delicious. The ambiance was lovely and our waitress Marissa was amazing. She was charming and quite attentive. Wish we lived here so we could dine here again.
