Extremely Satisfied…People I know told me that the food was good here so I was expecting to enjoy it, but I did not know it was going to be this good. The brownies were to die for! I also had the peanut butter-oreo milkshake, which was incredible! My daughter was unwilling to drive back to Texas without visiting Sweet Trail. I’m so glad we allocated and made the visit. We hope to visit S.T. whenever we’re in New Jersey.

7/22 Rushing to work but wanted a quick bite. Stopped by Sweet Trail, which I pass on the way to work daily. Today, I had the vanilla flavored cold brew with almond milk and a Beyond Beef empanada. The coffee was great but the empanada was Beyond delicious (See what I did there?) The crust was flaky and it was just one flavorful bite after the other. I am sorry I don't have pics because I am greedy and I inhaled it LOL Best of luck to this business. I will be back!! PS: The young woman at the counter was friendly and helpful!

The food is amazing and whether you are vegan or not you will love it.

Finally got to try this place and was very disappointed. It's lunch time and no lights were or nor was the menu showing so had to look at Google photos to know what they had. Ordered the lobster roll and it was placed on literally stale hard bread. There shakes were good but don't recommend the savory options. Very over priced. More of a quick coffee and pastry to go kind of place.

I'm on a vegan and gluten-free diet and this place provided a great meal for me while I was in between jobs. I got a ham, egg and cheese (all vegan of course) on a biscuit. I I can't wait to go again! The owner is super sweet and helpful. Overall, it was a great experience.

I had an excellent bagel sandwich today from Sweet Trail. I also picked up a red velvet cupcake, which was delicious as well! I'll definitely be back to try some of the other sandwiches and baked goods.

Among some of these reviews, I’m not a vegan whatsoever but i’m trying to cut down certain things and improve my diet. I stumbled across this place while i was looking for places to eat on grubhub. i searched for the location on google and realized it was a 8 minute walk from where i’m staying at so i decided to walk there and it was the best decision i’ve ever made! The person working there was really nice and friendly. Although the menu is limiting, as some might say. i found it less overwhelming than other elaborate menus, so it worked for me. I got the taylor ham egg and cheese on a bagel and it was delicious! The bagel was nice and chewy and soft. It didn’t taste vegan at all i was shocked!

First, let me state that I AM neither a vegan nor a vegetarian. However, I have visited vegan cafes before. I was in the area for an appointment, and decided to check out this cafe. First, the customer service I received was amazing and wonderful. "Service with a smile" is definitely one of the specialties served here. Although I did not need to use the bathroom, I have no doubt it was very clean and well-stocked. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on a biscuit, a coffee with oat milk (my FIRST time drinking hot coffee with oat milk, and a vanilla cupcake. Everything was delicious. I look forward to returning as soon as I can.

Visited today with a group of homeschooled teens for Teen Time. McEmsara was wonderful as she spoke with the teens and answered questions. She mentioned her passion for obtaining the right taste and texture in her baking...I'll tell you, she did not dissappoint! I started with a tasty mango smooth. Not too sweet but very delightful. The scone was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside with nice big juicy blueberries. The empanada was delectable. The crust was flaky and crispy. The beyond meat indside was so flavorful... it was all so mouth watering. Finally the cinnamon roll....I can't say enough about this. The cinnamon roll was AMAZING! Not to sweet but just sweet enough, the dough was perfect, not hard or chewy, it just melt in my mouth and the smooth light glaze just added to the overall flavor. It was perfect. Who knew Vegan could be so good! You have to visit this place in Bloomfield or visit one of their food trucks when they're at a festival! I can't wait to visit Sweet Trail Bakery again.

Items I’ve purchased: cinnamon rolls, brownies, shakes, smoothies, vegan lobster roll, beyond empanada. I’m finally leaving a review after 8 or so visits. I cannot believe your items are vegan! So tasty!! This makes me really think about how I can incorporate vegan food in my meaty diet. Thank you 😊

Love the cupcakes. My oldest daughter has been vegan for over 2 years. Finding sweets can be a challenge. This place was great.

Had the pleasure of stumbling across this location while visiting my bestie in NJ. I was really hungry and really lucky we found this place. Today I had the Bacon, Egg and Cheese on a Biscuit. It was so delicious. If ever back in the area, I would eat from here again. They had other great savory options to try. Of course they had such delicious desserts. I had the cinnamon roll and it was so tasty. Not too overly sweet. My fav part was the icing. Usually vegan icing is thick and Sweet Trail had the best icing on a cinnamon roll I have had in forever.

Coffee was bomb. Loved getting breakfast here. Definitely coming back for more. :)

This is a lovely vegan cafe/bakery! The owner was very kind, and the cafe is well lit and appears very cleanly. I ordered a Strawberry Banana smoothie and I must say, it was DELICIOUS!! There’s a lot on the menu to choose from (including the menu near the counter that lists different sandwiches and breakfast items). And you can even inquire about gluten free items. I don’t often go to vegan cafes/restaurants but I will definitely be coming back to this one. I might even order a coffee with oat milk next time just to try it out, since now I know the smoothies are amazing. I definitely recommend coming here!

This is a great little vegan place. My wife and I stopped in on a whim. The breakfast sandwich I had tasted amazing. I also grabbed a vegan brownie for the road that was ooey and gooey good! The young woman working there was very nice and patient as we asked all kinds of questions since it was our first time there. The only downside is trying to find parking. I would drive past the store on my way to work but could not stop because of all the traffic with the high school across the street in the morning. Maybe I’ll stop during the summer again.

Ordered their lobster roll and cinnamon roll. The lobster roll wasn’t my favorite, but the cinnamon roll was delicious! I would recommend to have the cinnamon roll warmed up with the tasty icing on top. It was so yummy!

4 stars only because of limited variety of foods available, but the rest is great! Great tasting sweets. Friendly owners!

Easily one of the best vegan breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. Ordered Taylor ham, egg, and cheese on a biscuit with a French vanilla iced coffee and a cinnamon roll: all 10/10. Definitely coming back!

How could you put in to words the remarkable energy.Such a wonder !; How can a place take you to a mindful space and be filled with Yummy Delicious Treats. The espresso is especially excellent!

I visited for the 1st time to grab a bite to eat for brunch. I got a hot chocolate, beyond empanada, and toasted everything bagel with butter. The empanada was savory and delish I just wish there was a bit more "meat" in there. The chili sauce that comes with it also add a nice layer of spice that was just right. The bagel was warm & crispy on the outside and soft and buttery on the inside. The hot chocolate was alright. I had mine with oat milk. I prefer my hot chocolate to have a bit more chocolate than milk so for me it was ok. The server was professional, polite, and attentive. The atmosphere was clean, open, and friendly. I'll definitely go again.

Got an Ice Latte with oatmilk and a splash vanilla would definitely recommend it. Great coffee taste not to sweet just on point!!

Finally stopped in here today with a friend after passing by many times. Neither of us are vegan but everything we had was delicious! Highly recommend the cinnamon bun :-). The woman who helped us was super friendly and happy to answer all of our questions. Will definitely be back!

I wish they’d post their menu online so we could know what they have every day but I popped in just to check and I’m glad I did. Only a few items on the savory menu but I had the taylor ham breakfast sandwich and got a scone for later and they were both fantastic. Coming back here every time I’m in the neighborhood until I try one of everything.

Loved this place. They have lots of vegan treats. I got a matcha with a shot of espresso (sooo good) and a Taylor ham egg on a bagel (10/10). I also got a cupcake. I loved the salty surprise of the cupcake. Street parking is free. Overall, this will be my new go to spot
