Once an operational Inn, Swiss Farm Inn is now strictly a rental property. It worked out great for us because we had people driving and flying in from all over the for a family reunion so we needed a place where a LOT of people could stay. There is a big commercial kitchen you can use while you stay there which is great when feeding 50 people! I couldn't tell you what the rooms are like because I never saw them, which leads me to my only complaint: they don't allow dogs. We wanted to bring my dog, so my parents & I stayed separately of the entire group (at the Long Trail Inn that does allow dogs). What do they have against dogs? This is a giant place with a nice big yard, there's zero reason he shouldn't have been allowed there. We couldn't even do stuff inside cuz one of us had to always stay outside with him (thankfully it's summer so people were outside anyway). I would have been happy to pay a refundable pet deposit, because I have a hypoallergenic non-shedding small dog, and I'm confident he wouldn't have been a problem. That said, if you're looking to rent out a large house for a lot of people (as long as you don't have a dog) I highly recommend this place.

My family and I rented this lovely Inn for my sisters birthday. It has a old charm and the owner Roger was very friendly. He even offered to show my brothers and I some great motorcycle riding trails. I enjoyed my time with the family and my only upset is that I didn’t get to have any of the worlds best breakfast. I couldn’t stop thinking of how neat it would be to have a b&b like this. Definitely think our family will be renting it again.

Best hosts anywhere. 15 rooms in the greatest little spot. Great fun.

This place was just amazing, the breakfast are exellent and well worth the stop for it. the Kitchen is like a small home kitchen and cooks the food you order on the spot so always fresh and tasty.

Other than the amazing friendly service the breakfast was possibly the best breakfast I've ever had ! My husband had the homemade biscuits and gravy oh my gosh!!!!!! That breakfast was the icing on the cake for our amazing little weekend get away! I wish the swiss farm inn wasn't 4 hours from home or I would be there every week!

I got the lumberjack sandwich (egg, bacon, and cheese on a Kaiser roll) and a side of blueberry pancakes. The sandwich also came with a side of bacon and home fries. Everything was very good and our waitress was very nice and attentive. The prices were also very reasonable for the serving sizes.

Finally, advertising which is spot on. This may legitimately be the best breakfast (and without question best value) in the world. So glad we stumbled across this wonderful spot.

The Swiss Farm Inn is THE place to stay when visiting killington. Stayed here with a friend off a recommendation from a local and had an absolute blast. Neat and tidy rooms, a perfect homey feel, and a breakfast that draws in those that didn't even spend the night. Seating in the dining room is family style and lead to the meeting of some pretty awesome groups, including one that has made it their soul spot for their trips to the mountain for years. I'll be back and sending many recommendations their way.

This place is The world's best breakfast. The staff and prices make it shine like a diamond in the rough. Definitely a must try! You won't be disappointed. They have community dining and a self serve drink station.

People are extremely friendly and the breakfast was amazing.

Very cozy setting for plated dinner for our bus group. Vegetable soup, salad, bread were really good. Roast pork, carrots, rice and shrimp very tasty. Dessert was great too. You can bring your own wine which was fun too. Owners Roger and Joyce were very nice, fun and hospitable.

Best Breakfast by far! Good service as well! Unlimited coffee and juice. Had scrambled eggs, 4 pieces of bacon, english muffin toasted, and hash browns. For around $8.99.

Drive past this place all the time and finally had a chance to try the "World's Best Breakfast". We ended up going on Sunday of Labor Day weekend. It was super busy when we arrived and we had a 20 minute wait. The portions were gigantic. I had the egg scramble special and my husband had the hash. He said the hash was amazing. My eggs fresh and fluffy and the veggies mixed in were perfectly cooked. In addition to that, they give you 2 slices of perfectly cooked bacon, a thick slice of toast, a large portion of perfectly seasoned homefries and a mini blueberry muffin. No matter what you order! Coffee and OJ are self serve which was great when it was so busy. Staff was very friendly and once we got our orders in, our food came out pretty fast. Prices were great considering the huge amount of food you get (you won't need lunch!)Definitely ranks as worlds best breakfast. Would like to try again on a slower weekend.

Beautiful group dinner in the Vermont mountains.

I came here on a whim from my dad after my campsite got rained out! All the hotels and inn in Middlebury were booked for the night and luckily this place still had an opening! Enjoyed my night there! Great WiFi service and the breakfast really was the bomb dignity! I loved it! If I’m ever in this area again I’ll stop in!

It's very cozy inside and you feel like your in the Swiss Alps. You get so much food to fill you up for the day. Daily specials, blueberrys pancakes, apple cider french toast and giant egg sandwiches. The drinks are self-serve ,orange juice, tea,coffee and water. You seat yourself so you might have to seat with other people. Large comfy couches to watch t.v. Everyone is very friendly and nice

Truly the worlds best breakfast. I have been searching for a better breakfast for years and have not found anything I like better. My favorite is the Strawberry-Rhubarb stuffed French toast (seldomly available on the special's menu board.) I also like the idea that I can get up to help myself to coffee and OJ when I want instead of having to wait for a busy waitress to come fill my cup. Seriously this place is fantastic. Only drawback is they are only open for breakfast to the public Thursday-Sunday.... and don't be late as they do close early.

I always come to this little B&B when I go snowboarding in Killington, or if I'm doing anything near Pittsfield, Vermont. The owners are the nicest people and the sign outside claiming the "World's Best Breakfast" is no exaggeration.

We had breakfast here and enjoyed the pancakes with real maple syrup. Very good! The service was good and you could help yourself to the coffee and orange juice.

We have breakfasted here on numerous occasions and its always delicous. Gets crowded after 9 AM but so worth the wait. I love that you can go in and fix your coffee just the way you like it and then wait on their comfty couch for your table. Don't sleep in as they close early 11 AM. The specials are so large you have a yummy snack for later!

Hosted our bus group for supper. Best meal we have had so far . Service was wonderful.

I am reviewing the restaurant, we did not stay at the inn. The restaurant was very cozy. It was decorated with many antique radios and cameras etc. Coffee and orange juice is self service. I had the everything omalet and my wife a blueberry pancakes. We also shared the homemade hash. Everything was delicious and prices were reasonable. If your traveling up rt100 in the Pittsfield area during business hours, I would highly recommend stopping in for breakfast.

Their sign reads "The Best Breakfast in Vermont" and it is pretty awesome. Family style seating and serve yourself coffee and juice. Daily specials that are tasteful and very inexpensive. Fast friendly service staff and Owner on site too.

Great little b&b, great service, nice location in the mountains of Vermont

Quaint inn in the middle of the Vermont countryside. It was a wonderful place to stay before we started our bike ride. There was a group of 16 of us, and the owners were very sweet and accommodating, serving breakfast a half hour early just for us. Breakfast really did add up to it's name of "world's best". Would definitely stay here again.

We had a group of 47 people in June that ate there. The food was very good, the owner, server was extremely friendly and welcoming. We will be going back in a couple of weeks with 51 people. Can't wait.

Old style, very basic functional farm house lodging. Uneven floors, steep stairway to rooms so not suitable for anyone with physical impairment. No air conditioning in dining area. Usually not a problem but it was during the 2016 July & August heat wave.Think your grandmother's 80 year old home that has received very few updates. Great breakfasts included in price of room. In winter they also serve dinner.

We stumbled on this Inn. Small inn on the back road from Killington. It is family owned and operated. We only had breakfast and did not stay here. You sit at large family tables if you are just two with two others at the other...

My wife and I never miss an opportunity to stay at the Swiss Farm Inn. You can't beat Roger's cooking and the atmosphere is perfectly laid back.

We had a large group of college age individuals come to eat here in the morning. The service was great, the people working were warm and inviting, and the food/price was amazing. If you're up in the area, this really is the "world's best breakfast". Go visit them!

I stayed at Swiss Farm for 4 days in late spring 2013. What a great experience. The breakfasts are really good, they are absolutely accommodating with requests and the rooms are clean. This is the best place in Pittsfield.
