Food was very good for the price, service was welcoming and respectful! I hate the atmosphere in the community, seems like everyone is angry and not welcoming to someone who isn’t from there community! Lots and Lots of angry stares from total strangers! Im just going to hope everyone was having a bad day! But nothing is perfect and the food here makes you happy enough to let the little things slide!

Amazing food at a great price! I live out of state now. But whenever I visit, I have to get some Szechuan Garden. Just stopped by this weekend and food was awesome!

Very good food, can't believe I have waited so long to try it. Service was very friendly, portions were good, and I felt the pricing was very fair. Our only complaint is we wish the crab Rangoon had a little more stuffing, but they were delicious. Will definitely be back!

Update: Tried Szechuan again, and they've stepped up their game! Even with the rough inflation, Szechuan Garden delivers gut-busting portions for a reasonable price. The food is also straight flames, I've been a fan of the Lo Mein and the Happy Family. Old Review: Portions are a good size. Price is reasonable. However, the last few times I was there the chicken had the consistency of gelatin and it really threw me off.

I love coming here! They NEVER disappoint! So grateful for this place! Especially when I was pregnant lol

Good place when ya have a craving. Not super authentic but it does the job when your in the country and bar food gets old.

The meat cuts are all good quality and the vegetables are fresh. Meal sizes are very good.

Tried Chickemooshu so awesome. Have a new fave. I drive 30 min to get their food. Never disappoint .

Love this place. Finally got to have it again after many years (I live on the west coast), and it is as good as I remembered. Can't wait until my next Michigan trip so I can order again. Great food, great people, great service.

The portions were very generous. We ordered Mongolian Beef, Cashew Chicken, fried rice and egg rolls. The egg rolls were good, not the best I have ever tasted but OK. The fried rice was almost a mix of fried rice and white rice. The Mongolian Beef was very bland, almost tasteless but very salty. The cashew chicken was only slightly better than the beef dish. At other restaurants we often take leftovers home and can’t wait to finish them the next day. We have had this food twice and are tired of it, I think the rest will be thrown out. Unfortunate because it was not a cheap order. Dining room atmosphere, nothing special, reminded me of a truck stop diner.

In town for a baseball game, I stopped in to order. I ordered the Orange Chicken dinner with fried rice, an egg roll and an order of Crab Rangoon, all under$20. While this would be enough for two normal adults, this feast was all mine and I crushed it! This was by far the BEST Chinese takeout I've had in a long time! I'll be back the next time I'm in town!!

inconsistent quality of food. General Tso chicken tastes like orange chicken. decent egg drop soup and egg rolls. Good beef and broccoli, terrible dumplings and often stale fried won tons.

Very reasonable price and good enough volume for lunch. I placed take out order, but you can also dine in too. Service is quite fast, but I think recommend to place order ahead, so you can save your time for waiting.

This place is a hidden gem in Williamston. Always great service food always hot. And the prices are great. Average wait time is around 20 minutes and they get it done. Portions are decent. The chicken is a good quality alot of white meat.

I ordered the Szechuan Chicken and Shrimp extra spicy and it came like this, exactly what I wanted! Perfectly spicy with hints of ginger, an all around tasty dish, I highly recommend!

Chef special General Tsao stated white meat but was dark and vegetable fried rice was yellow with sparse veggies. Not recommending at this time.

This place has seem gone down hill since years past ..got the garlic chicken. Hardly any chicken and tons of celery carrots I ask.for extra cook veggie on account of Jas disorder not being able chew well perry china place never has problem with It .I get there already soft veggie got got home and no they weren't..:(

Kind of a little bitty place off the beaten path, and without any frills, but totally met the needs. We did not call ahead so I had to wait while the order was prepared, which it was in a quite reasonable amount of time. The helpings were large we may well get two meals each out of them. The person waiting on us seemed kind of less than fully interested but was totally competent and prompt and got the job done so, basically, it was a minor note. We will certainly consider this place quite favorably next time we're in the area.

This is great tasting food and yes mostly for takeout! Everything tastes just good!

We stopped for takeout as we drove through town. Everything was hot, tasty and in abundance! I ordered szechwan chicken and a pint of wonton soup. I bet I have enough for two more meals! Delicious!

The honey sesame chicken is very good. I would highly suggest that. I like both the white and fried rice here. Also get an egg roll, very good.

Very good!!! We've been getting takeout a number of years from here. This past week was exceptional! Medium spicy broccoli & beef, & General Tso .We get it with refried rice! Dinner portions are huge! Delicious! Great service

Best place in the Williamston area to get Chinese food

Hands down the worst Chinese I've ever had.

I am truck driver and I had two orders, fried rice with beef and lo mei with chicken. The best fried rice I have eaten in a long time. Delicious. Recommend

Always friendly, delicious and fast! Favorite restaurant to order from. We get the lo main, chicken and broccoli and honey sesame chicken!

Very tiny place in a tiny city but very good food. I had to feed like 10 people in a pinch and went here and placed my order waited 40 minutes the food was fresh and delicious. The staff you could tell where the children who where very kind and well educated. Very hard working family they must of had 10 customers while I waited. There menu is twice the size of any Asian restaurant in Lansing (I don't know how they do it). That I guess is what makes them extra special. If I could give them 2 more stars I would. Absolutely loved it will come back again for sure.

Only 3 stars mainly because the customer service was top notch and within walking distance from the park - not based on food taste/quality. Lunch and dinner portions available all day - nice option and rare for takeout. Mongolian chicken was bland and meat had odd texture. Orange chicken tasted refried/recooked and box was packed with broccoli which was unexpected. Lobby was immaculately clean and kitchen was without visible clutter and appeared very sanitary. Will give them another chance but I'd prefer very fresh with a higher price point than heavily "pre" prepared warmed up version.

We were in Williamston for a tennis tournament and live about 20 minutes away. We stopped to get food from this restaurant and it was delicious! We got the orange chicken and chicken in garlic sauce. It was ready on time and hot. I would drive back out to pick up some of the orange chicken, so tasty.

Great price & decent food, the food is usually hot I wish they did a slightly better job on crab Rangoons the filling always seems short fill them up & raise the price on them a little & it would be amazing, The chicken is usually always nice & decent quality the workers always treat me great & help out, my wife says they treat her mean but I’m unsure never seen that but could happen. Definitely one of the better Chinese food places around though.

Wow! Stopped in for lunch on a gloomy day and will be coming back again very soon. I got a chicken egg roll, and the garlic chicken lunch portion. The egg roll was crispy and golden. It had a perfect crunch and crisp cabbage inside. The flavor was delicious, my only regret was that I only purchased one. The garlic chicken was a spicy bouquet of textures and flavor. I loved the soft crunch of carrots and celery, and the chicken was tender and delicious. The sauce was spicy and a bit sweet. I loved everything I had and can't wait to try more. Service was also fast and friendly.

I love this place! Best steamed dumplings around....my husband loves them. I have never had a bad meal come from this business and I will continue to be a customer as long as they are willing to stay in business!! Very much worth a visit.

Unparalleled Food. I’ve eaten around the world and truly haven’t found better Chinese than Szechuan Garden. From the mountains of the Czech Republic to the sunsets of Santorini there’s nothing more beautiful than their Szechuan sauce and fried rice.

They make your food just the way you want it. Their fried rice is what keeps me coming back but I also like the broccoli in garlic sauce. Highly recommend!

Best Chinese food you will ever have in your life. No joke.

Ordered all the egg rolls and spring roll to taste and all were a hit. Loved the chicken lo mein and general t’s chicken but the sweet and sour chicken was over cooked and over breaded. All in all would definitely recommend 🙋‍♀️

Hands down my favorite Chinese take-out place. Not only is the food amazing and the portions really generous, but the family who owns this place is always kind. They remember my order and know I always come with littles so they're sure to bag my order in a way that it's easier for me to carry. We recently moved to Okemos, but I still drive out of my way to head back to Williamston to eat here!

My second review of the night. I love this diner. Staff always very pleasant and efficient. I usually get "happy family" which is beef, chicken, shrimp, and piles of vegetables. I feel like the food is good quality and the place seems clean and prices reasonable.

Nice, friendly and family own business. Szechaun Garden has become one of my favorite restaurant. Has variety in menu and also separate menu for vegetarian. Staff is very nice and helpful.They modified the order as per our need. Highly recommended for Asian food lovers and Vegetarians!!!!

The veggie and tofu entrée is so good I drive all the way from Detroit as often as I can.

This family is the best and they love their customers. The food is fantastic! I recommend the generals chicken dinner size with fried rice. an egg roll on the side is always a good option. you'll have leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

Szechuan Garden is the best Chinese food I have ever had ANYWHERE. We love their General Tso's tofu and regularly order that, but when we have ordered for friends no one has ever been disappointed. The people are thoughtful and courteous. So glad they are in Williamston!

If you like Chinese food this is the best place to go very reasonable more than adequate portions nice clean establishment wonderful nice warm people to greet you if you're going to go to a Chinese restaurant you want to go come here

I'm always so happy with the food I get here. Even when it's busy, the woman at the counter is so patient and takes the time to make each customer feel like they're not a burden for ordering. I love coming here!

Our favorite Chinese food restaurant - BONUS: 5 minutes from home! Hot/sour soup is especially outstanding, but everything we’ve had has been very good. Portions are generous & they offer lunch or dinner-size entrees all the time. Takeout only but everything is well-packaged to stay hot til you get home; however I recommend taking your own insulated bag for great food immediately.

Not Panda Express and thats ok Favorite dish is the Honey Sesame seed chicken, But others include the Orange chicken Generals chicken and the eggs rolls are BIG if you got the hankering for some Eastern food and your in the area try them out

This place is the epitomy of amazing Chinese cuisine. The owners are so kind and actually care about the customers. they have an amazing worker named Will. I recommend this place to all my family and friends. You will not be disappointed.

My family got carry out for the first time from Szechuan last evening and it was fantastic. We got several different dishes and no complaints with anything. Service was fast, prices are fair and we were excited for leftovers (it heated up well). We will be back!
