Food was excellent. Service was a little slow but very friendly. Great atmosphere and location. We will be back. Mussels appetizer - the broth was OUTSTANDING! Terrific meal. Compact menu. Would live to see more salads. Everyone loved this spot.

My wife and I weren't too impressed by the food especially for the price. A small Italian sandwich and fries cost $18 and I believe that was the cheapest thing on the menu. Atmosphere was very loud inside the building.

A must if visiting Morgantown. Food was great and unique. Service was on spot. They have a limited beer selection of local beers. Sit outside, if you get the chance.

We stopped in Morgantown on whim while on a road trip. We decided to stay the night and ventured along the river and came across Table 9. Our food was absolutely amazing! My husband had a friend chicken with sweet Thai sauce with Mac and cheese. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. I had a lemon poppy salad with grilled chicken and fresh strawberries, it was easily the best salad I’ve ever had. Service was excellent and the view of the river was gorgeous.

A lovely location...I really want to like this place but I've been disappointed everytime. Cocktails significantly miss the mark and food is highly variable in quality given the price.

I love going here. The food is always solid and reliable. Some of the staff can sometimes be abrasive, but those who have been there a while are always receptive.

We made a visit to Table 9 for my son's graduation weekend. Morgantown lacks a fine dining community...it is a college town. I found reviews regarding Table 9 and set up a reservation during grad weekend. I will share I was not fully satisfied with their food for the price point. I chose several appy's...the fries were clearly frozen...not fresh cut. I was disappointed with that. Both of my boys got steaks ard 40.00+...sadly these steaks were so thin cut I could not believe they would serve a steak so thin. That being said this did not add up for me but my boys enjoyed the eve.

They went off to the hills to find my chicken to kill and turn it into chicken and waffles. Took a long time to get our food out on a fairly slow day, this gave me hopes for good food, but alas I was mildly disappointed. Portion wasn’t bad but for the wait I expected more. Tender but bland chicken. Overall very mid honestly.

Called weeks ago and they said they didn’t do reservations. They instructed me to come early so I was the first one to arrive. I get there and they said we can’t be seated because all reservations are full. Very poor communication, unprofessional.

Lovely location, server was good, hostess was nasty and clearly hated her job and or the customers. Food was quite good.

Amazing customer service & absolutely incredible food!

Our server, Jarred, was really good... attentive enough and very jovial. Steaks were very good, sides were very tasty, but a little too salty. We'd definitely go back. Cocktails were very nice. The chocolate torte with raspberry sauce had a nice balance between flavors.

I came with my roomate for brunch and an hour wait for what we got just wasn't worth our time. We got sat immediately which was a good start, and that's all that was good. Our server took about 15 minutes to first get to our table and gibe us water. He didn't introduce himself so I can't even give a name. We ordered right away to get our food and drinks an hour later. Not even hot. We had to ask another server to check on our food and she brought it out immediately which means it was probably sitting in the kitchen ready for a bit. I've worked in the food industry as a cook and server for 10+ years and this is on top for some of the worst service I have seen and also received.

Food was really varied and interesting, innovative, and rich. Maybe just a tad too rich. Phenomenal environment, very nice people, impeccable service.

Absolutely the best restaurant in Morgantown. My husband and I used to live in Morgantown and we ate there pretty regularly over the course of four years and we never had a bad meal. Lunch, dinner, brunch, drag brunch... All great experiences. One of the highlights was taking some friends who were visiting us. They are vegan and we were having a difficult time finding a place to eat. We called the restaurant a few hours before dinner and asked if they could accommodate our vegan friends and they said they were happy to do so. Our friends were beyond happy with their meal. They were living in Boston at the time and they said it was better than any vegan meal they had experienced in the ten years they had been living there. We already loved Table 9 before that visit but we were converted to diehard fans with that experience. We moved out of Morgantown in 2020 (almost four years ago) but we still talk about and miss Table 9 and recommend it to people. If we're ever in the area again, we'll absolutely be stopping in for a meal.

I have recommended this restaurant for a while to friends and family. They honestly had the best steak I've ever had. My brother said the exact same thing. It was a chargrilled ribeye with a demi glaze. Unfortunately, they took it off their menu and added a different steak....guys, please bring back the ribeye with the demi glaze! It was amazing. Otherwise, the drinks were great. I highly reccomend the charred Brussel sprouts.

Food and atmosphere were great for brunch! Our server was okay, but he definitely took his time with getting orders. He waited a little too long to take our entree orders after our first drink and app order, and he didn't ask if we wanted another round of drinks when he brought our entrees and we're very visibly finished with our first round.

We went through a weird mix of emotions eating here. We booked our reservation and were excited to celebrate an important milestone in our life. We ordered several things but the primary items were duck, salmon, and Brussels sprouts. The Brussels came out with what can only be described as cheese whiz. They were so salty that we couldn’t eat them. We tried really hard, too. The salmon was fine- but not professional or original in any way. Just salty and boring. The duck was probably the best item. But the sides were unremarkable. For the price point of this restaurant, I expect semi-fine dining. With a limited menu, there’s really no excuse why the food can’t be perfect. The environment was fine, but not worthy of the price point. Finally, they were apparently out of all their desserts except popcorn flavored ice cream. Which, I imagine would have been just a salty vanilla ice cream based on the rest of the meal. While the serving staff wore t-shirts and jeans, they were courteous and professional-ish. All in all, food was a step below cracker barrel, drinks tasted like something high schoolers threw together, and prices far exceeded the value. Brunch must be the only thing keeping this place alive. We won’t be back.

Fish and chips were greasy and mushy. When I told the waiter, he said he had never gotten a complaint before. I said, well- you have one now. All 4 servings were awful. Offered us free desserts lol. Nope. Won’t be back.

Outstanding food, even though the octopus was cooked too long. The papadelle pasta with spicy sauce and sweet sausage was off the charts tasty. Really busy night, but our staff was great. Highly recommend.

While we had a large group the restaurant was fairly empty but still had to wait 45 minutes for them to push the same tables together that were empty. Service was sooooo slow and while there are plenty of pics online none of them are actually offered. We continued to wait on drinks, to order and water refills. We then had to wait for our food after watching tables around us get theirs and eventually leave. When our food finally arrived they forgot one of the orders so our group waited for that dish to be prepared and finally come out. No apologies, no attempts to make things right or anything to make things better. We will be in Morgantown the next four years and will never come back or recommend to anyone on the athletic team our group is part of.

Came for the Tuesday B-B-B - ($17) not disappointed.!! Tuesday burger special was quality. Two people i was with added bacon and felt it was worth the small upcharge. It came with fries or a small side salad. Very nice. The bourbon selection wasn’t bad at all; - makers mark was a choice , and old forester, i had redemption. Beer selection was craft - not coord, bud etc. We sat outside - no heaters but relaxing and pretty river view. Good service. Good ambience. Good place!

Nice, clean, modern style bar. Shared some drinks with a few friends. We very much enjoyed our visit. Bartender knew what she was doing. Highly recommend

Had brunch with family on Sunday. We had a large party & that could be why the food was slow to make it to our table. But at least it was good and hot. Plan to return next Sunday. Highly recommend Table 9.

Wow. What an amazing place. Super friendly wait staff, amazing food, and WHAT A VIEW. The devils on horseback are amazing. There's a decent selection of wine and liquor. Food was cooked perfectly and overall food was a 10/10. The wine selection was also 10/10. Food prices were decent for Morgantown certainly more expensive than your average bar or sit down, but prices for what you get 10/10.

Used to be a very cool higher end restaurant. Now populated with cheap old tables on sticky floors. Nothing to absorb sound results in a high school gym atmosphere inside. If you want a $12 burger with a river view head there on Tuesdays and sit outside, otherwise stay away. Note that the good reviews are from years ago.

Went here for brunch after my niece's baptism, 11:30 on a Sunday. The food was good (egg white omelette), our server was sweet, but the floors...they were so sticky my flats came off my feet when I got up to leave 😱 Tables were sticky and baseboards were covered in dust. Also there was no host at the front for 10 minutes with at least fifteen people waiting. My mom flagged down a server to let them know we had a reservation - we were immediately sat but I felt bad for the folks waiting in the lobby. Young servers were doing their absolute best and were as patient with our complex orders - they were definitely short staffed! Management, please give them the recognition they deserve. For families, please note that there is a changing table only in the women's restroom 😑

If you’re in search of a brunch place, look no further! I keep returning here almost every weekend because I can’t resist the chicken and waffles and the eggs Benedict. There’s something about them I can’t recreate at home! The atmosphere is always welcoming, and the view is pleasant. You can sit outside during the Summer time. My favorite food place in the area.

The food was tasty and sophisticated. Just sad there was such a limited number of options (3 or 4 dishes max on the menu). Our group had dinner on the patio overlooking the river so the atmosphere was great. And it became even better when the sun set behind the hill and the lights went on. Not even too many mosquitoes! The only other negative point is that the service was rushed and cold. Truly looked like our waitress was busy with too many tables and had no time to care for any of us.

Food is decent. Service is slower than it should be. The restaurant is extremely dirty. The floor is sticky with visible dirt. Tables are also sticky. Could be really nice with some much needed TLC.

Ordered chicken and waffles to go. Watched my food sit on the counter and get cold while I waited for someone to acknowledge me in the lobby. Just finished microwaving my meal. Not going back.

I have eaten here before. Having lived in larger metropolitan areas and having traveled the U.S. by RV for a few years, I grew to appreciate a variety of dining options. I grew up and now live in Fairmont, where options are extremely limited. Table 9 is where I like to bring people who are either from out of town or locals who claim they don't "get out much." ☺️

What a fabulous experience. We had brunch after my daughter's wedding, and the food was absolutely delicious. We will positively return.

Chicken and waffles good. Strawberry French toast literally had 1 sliced strawberry. We thought it was a garnish on a strawberry French toast but that was it. Back east you get almost a 1/2 pint for less cost. Overpriced for a college town. Sorry that strike 2, will give more chance.

Food was amazing. However, for such an upscale eatery, I would have expected a hand pour vs what seemed to be a measured shot for the price of a drink.

Didn't actually get to eat, we were so shocked by the prices, we decided to leave, as it wasn't in our budget. Only leaving the review to let others know the price range is much higher than Google suggests which is $$. For "$$", I would expect entrees to be $15-25-ish. Entrees were $27-44 each. Even the salads were close to $20 each. Seemed like a really nice place, though. Was our first time in Morgantown, so maybe it's just known that this place is in a higher price range.

A little pricy but the food is excellent. And they cook their potatoes all the way through they really absorb the flavor of the oil and seasoning and aren’t hard👌🏻 will def drive the 30 minutes to eat their again.

Visited here while we were traveling! We came on a Sunday so it was understandably hard to get a seat, but we were able to get a seat at the bar pretty easily. For how packed the place was, the service was fast enough and the food was good! I got chicken and waffles that were great. My spouse said that the burger was a bit boring but it wasn't bad - would probably just prefer to get something else if we get to visit again!

It's March so we ate inside although I'm sure the outdoor seating would be nice. My husband and I shared the scallops/ risotto and lamb /curried rice. The rice had great flavor if you like curry. Risotto was rich and cheesy but not overwhelming. Scallops were amazing and perfectly cooked with a little sauce on top that reminded me of something you'd find on sushi. The lamb was a little disappointing. Didn't have much flavor at all. Would have enjoyed any homemade steak equivalent better. Chocolate torte was delish. When you add it all up with a couple glasses of wine and tip you're looking at $145. Atmosphere isn't quite worth the price in my opinion but the food is delightful!

From bridal brunches to family breakfast, they satisfy it all. Delicious fresh offerings, large portions, good cocktails. We did brunch and I'm sure the dinner menu is just as good. Fun place on the river walk.

Tuesday burger night! One beer, one bourbon, one unique burger + fries for only $17. What a great deal! This week’s burger was red pepper jam, caramelized onion, spinach, and jalapeño cream cheese. Great flavor combo. Perhaps slightly overcooked from my request for medium but still juicy and delicious. Added sriracha and garlic aioli to the fries for just $0.50. The rest of the menu looked very good as well but I am here simply to recommend their excellent Tuesday special.

We chose this restaurant due to the proximity to the hotel we were staying at being walkable. The restaurant itself has a great vibe, delicious food, and lots of drink options. You can get a variety of mimosas for brunch, a French press of coffee, etc. We are brunch and the location is on the river with a dock below. We will definitely eat here again the next time we are in Morgantown. They do accept reservation, not necessary but recommended.

The food was very good (it's a little pricey but seems worth it). It does get loud in the space cause it's wide open and not much to soak up the sound. Staff were friendly and professional, but seemed stretched thin, could have used an additional host/hostess. A good local option for a nice dinner. Versatile drink options, including cocktails.

Pretty expensive for what you get. I paid $37 for a pork chop which came on top of some mashed potatoes that were smeared on the plate and a few spears of asparagus. A salad was extra. Pork chop was good.

Cute brunch spot by the river. We stopped by for a family meal on Sunday morning. The interior is beautiful and inviting. All the dishes we ordered came quickly and everyone enjoyed their food.

food was good. waiter never came back to fill our drinks, so was thirsty by the end. otherwise it is a cool place next to the river and walking trail. make sure you get a seat facing the trail if you like people watching. lots of crazy people walking/dancing/stumbling down the trail. take a short walk on the trail to see a cool old train bridges.

Great apps and cocktails. Wonderful hostess and server. We love stopping there on a date night. On a recent Friday evening, it was bustling with lots of happy diners. We never have complaints! Service and food are always so good.

Terrible scallops and duck breast. Everything smelled old. 0 cares that we disliked our food. The devils on horseback were ok, but you only get 3 dates. $90 for dinner for 2! Complete waste of time and money. Will not be back.

My wife and I went for Burger Bourbon and Beer night and were not disappointed. The food and service were both impeccable. Make sure you give it a try.

We came here for dinner. I liked the open industrial design and the location on the bank of the Monongahela River. I am sure it is even better in the summer. We sat at the bar. Our standard gin and tonic was strong. It is too bad that they changed the menu recently and removed some of the items that I would have liked to eat, like beef tartar, veal sweetbread, ceviche or braised pork belly. Next came burrata salad, which was also good. Than came the main course. My wife got the grilled pork chop with mashed potatoes. It was good, but can be better, more smokier and juicier. I got braised short ribs and it disappointed. The meet was soft, but too bland and chewy. Short ribs are easy to make, but they may want to consider switching to beef cross cut shank. Again, short rib pappardelle and shrimp and duck sausage fettucine are no longer on the menu.

Over all Great food, Great Service, Great Setting. I think I will start calling places like this one in the GGG category ❤️ on another note we would definitely love to see new tasteful things on the menu for next year!

Location is nice but the food is very very plain. Food is just over priced for what the staff call “fine dining” the prices do not reflect the taste.

Excellent restaurant in an accessible location. Varied menu with awesome choices. Our steak and lamb were cooked perfectly and so flavorful. Cocktail fun and tasty; decent wine selections. Staff so friendly. Would dine again if we ever are back in town.

Called to make reservation for Sunday brunch. Person said we don’t need a reservation for 11:30am brunch because they are not busy. Walked in at 11:30a “hostess” said we needed a reservation. Refused to seat us. Walked next door to Flour & Feed had a great brunch for a great price. Will not return to Table 9.

The Place and food was just incredible

Nice location, but the restaurant is not clean and the food is not what it used to be. Went for brunch and while we waited to be seated the group behind us pointed out how dirty the entrance-way display table was. As we were being seated we walked through the main dining area and the floor was so dirty my friend who was in sandals had her shoes stick to the floor. We asked to sit outside because the floors were not sticky outside. The service was great, but the food was just ok. Not sure the atmosphere and food is worth the price.

Excellent food - ever changing menu with lots of variety. Service has always been good - sometimes the wait is a bit long for the food. Right on the rail trail. Parking garage is close by and cheap. Inside can be extremely loud due to the building’s many windows and glass. Outdoor seating is good also.

If I could give this place a zero, I would. We had a reservation to celebrate my friends birthday this morning… Brunch spots are lacking in the area so we were thrilled to visit Table 9. Upon driving in from roughly 1 hour away, we arrived to a sign stating that the restaurant was closed until dinner. We received no messages or calls to inform the party that we would not be able to frequent the restaurant. Many other patrons were clearly not informed of the closing, as people continued to walk up to the door and turn around. This is incredibly unprofessional and instead of taking responsibility for this, the restaurant claims they reached out when they did not. We will not be back.

Went based on a friend’s recommendation who said it was best in Morgantown which is consistent with TA reviews - it is a nice location next to river -unfortunately the food was not very good - the lamb chops were almost all fat with bbq sauce that was for pork ribs- they ran out of the potatoes that were supposed to be part of the dish - although the scallops were nice size the dish was even worse - the scallops were so salty to be difficult to eat and the rice was too salty to eat - the desert seemed likes cheesecake from a box rather than homemade - the waiter was very good (and apologetic) - will need to find another place the next time we are in Morgantown

The drinks and location are nice.

The food was good but not so much the service. It took forever to be greeted by a host on a slow afternoon and forever for the meal to come out. On the other hand, our waiter was friendly.

We stopped here for dinner on the way through town. The setting is great…offering nice views of the river from both the all glass wall and the deck. The food was good, too, but the prices were way too steep, even given today’s inflationary prices. $27 for fried chicken is the lowest entree entry. It would’ve been nice to see some more affordable options.
