The location is clean and spacious. The service was excellent and the staff took the time to explain all the options to me and make recommendations. The food itself was fantastic. Meat was cooked perfectly and the tortillas were tasty.

I recently dined at Taco Capital and had the pleasure of trying their Suadero taco, which was an explosion of flavor in every bite. The meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, making it one of the most delicious tacos I have ever tasted. Not only was the food exceptional, but the staff was also amazing - attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. I highly recommend Taco Capital for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. 5 stars all the way!

I hate having to leave a bad review, but I hate more to spend my money unnecessarily. So in attempt to save some of you the displeasure. Hear my experience, I went in for breakfast tacos, the one guy walks out the bathroom phone in hand and straight to take my order 6 bnc 1 potatoes and egg. The tortillas were hard and stale the beans looked as if smeared out a can, even the cheese tasted stale. My kids and I were hungry until we actually tasted the first bite. Very disappointed, this place has great reviews but I have a difficult time understanding how you can mess up bean and cheese.😕Oh and I was there waiting from 7:08 to 7:25 made me ate for work.

Food is made to order and the Pico was amazingly fresh. I ordered the asada quesadilla and it was phenomenal. You get to choose from 3 salsas that are all brought to your table. Staff was polite and respectful, and the bathroom was clean. This place definitely deserves more traffic, would recommend and I plan on coming back.

AMAZING and DELICIOUS! The BEST tacos in San Antonio! Quality ingredients and so much flavor! The customer service is off the chain, which is so rare nowadays. You can tell that this family owned restaurant cares about making the customers have a great experience from the time they walk in, while they sit to wait, while they’re enjoying their amazing food, and as they walk out. Delicious tacos. This was probably my favorite taco place in San Antonio. Great service. We had tacos de asada and Al pastor and they were pretty good, it had the smokiness of the grill and good seasoning. Plus they actually put pineapple on the al pastor(which is a shame when they don't ...). The tortillas are homemade and they were very good!

Meat products are of excellent quality. Was very surprised and impressed by their tacos. Their green salsa is very flavorful.

Food was delicious and an amazing price. Barbacoa tacos left almost no grease in plate when we finished. Really great portions! I will bring literally everyone I know here! We met the owner and he seemed so proud of his establishment. Rightfully so! Will definitely be back. I wish I could give 5000 stars. Well done, yall!!

These are some of the best tacos I’ve had. They make their corn tortillas in house and daily and it really does matter, you don’t know the difference until you’ve had it. My wife and I were so excited we legit forgot to take a picture, they set them down and we had eaten them almost before we even realized lol. The service was also on point, the front staff and waitstaff were all helpful and super accommodating. We will definitely be making the trek back over here because it was and will continue to be worth it!

Everything from scratch and clearly genuine people

I’m still here needing a moment to let my stomach settle before leaving. I stuffed myself haha. The food here is so good that I will definitely come back or order from DoorDash. The atmosphere is chill and clean, and it's a nice find that I almost missed because the place next door was closed. The chips were freshly cooked and tasted great with lime, salt, and the salsas. The star of the meal were the Suadero Tacos with grilled onions on corn tortillas. The brisket melted in my mouth with each bite and was so delicious. They were very filling, and even though I could have taken the second taco home, I chose to enjoy being happily stuffed here instead. This place gets a 10/10 from me, and I rarely leave reviews, whether good or bad.

Best of the best of Authentic Mexican food here in San Antonio

How this place wasn't packed on a Saturday late-morning is beyond me. The breakfast tacos were SO good! We did egg and potato, carne guisada, egg and bacon, and chorizo and potato. The horchata water was also amazing. The service was top notch and the place was really clean and bright.

Yummy yummy yummy. Their taco set up is different but welcomed. How so? Since I learned of breakfast tacos almost a year ago they usually come wrapped in foil but Taco Capital puts your tacos in a cute carry out box. I got a 6 pack of Egg and Bacon. $9.99 I enjoyed them and so did my husband. Looking forward to my next visit. 😁😁😁

Wow! The absolute best in San Antonio. We have lived here for years and have tried every taco possible and hands down the best! Try any type and they're all delicious. If I could give more stars I would.

The suadero was so soft and delicious that it reminded me of barbacoa. The bean and cheese was good but had I known how tasty their corn tortillas were, I would have it on that instead of on flour. Their chips were fresh and reminded me of homemade ones as a kid. The service was super friendly, and they were fast too. I highly recommend this place.

I dont know how this place has 5 stars. I ordered 4 tacos. Each had zero flavor. The tortillas were equivalent to cardboard. They were extremely small, like you could eat one whole taco in 3-4 bites. And for the money I could go anywhere else for the same price, get a real size taco, that has flavor. The most important part of all this, I cannot stop $h!tting my brains out. Thank you very much taco capital for the food contamination. 😑😑😑 Writing this as Im suffering on the toilet while stuck at school. I will never be going back here again!

We came here for breakfast tacos and left with a new favorite taco spot! They cooked our order on the spot, and it came out fresh & yummy. Price & value is hard to beat too - it seems like you can’t pay less than $4 a taco nowadays. Our tacos were $2-$3 each and we got a complimentary bowl of chips & salsa. All that aside, the tacos were DELICIOUS & fresh. Excited to come back and try lunch/dinner tacos.

So the breakfast tacos (bean and egg, bacon and eggs) are delicious. I got those last Friday for my dad and I. The Tortillas!!!! Are the best!!! Like perfect and they don't fall apart but you can bite them perfectly if you have no teeth( dad said so.) We ordered lunch today ( Suadero and the Gringa) this Monday. I am sure they'll be delicious and authentic as well. 😋 😋 Eat here because they're really good!

My husband and I are in San Antonio often and Taco Capital is definitely now on our list of top places to eat when we visit! The owner and staff are super friendly and helpful, the restaurant is so clean and the tacos are soooo delicious. We ordered the Capital Pack so we could try each kind of taco. Six tacos for $14.99 and the tacos were well portioned... What a great deal. They have 3 types of hot sauce and came with onions, cilantro and pineapple on the side. Our fave was definitely the Campechano (asada and al pastor with cheese on a flour tortilla) but they were all delicious. Definitely ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I can safely say, this is one of the better taco places in the Medical Center, if not San Antonio. It is reasonably priced unlike some other taco places, and its just the right amount of stuff on a taco, nothing overstuffed or skimped, its just right. Personally, with 3 tacos, I'm good to go. Recently, they started doing breakfast tacos, and I'm definitely curious to try them out. If you're on a lunch break, please go check them out!

The tacos were great. I'm a big foodie and have tried an insane amount of taco joints in the city and I would put these up there with the best. Great flavor in the meat, great homemade tortillas and great salsa. Could use some decor inside to liven the place up but that's about it.

ok ive been trying to stop at this place for the breakfast tacos since now they open in the mornings, didn't disappoint. one thing about restaurants this days is that they only care about service and many places forget or they dont care about PRESENTATION this place has a great atmosphere clean always good service and good tacos al pastor and gringas are amazing. the presentation, the flavor and just seeing when they are making the tacos as you order that makes a difference they are well priced specially in a combo. try both lunch and breakfast tacos and forget about overpriced big chain braakfast tacos or the other taquerias around medical center THESE ARE Legit good breakfast tacos.

I’m from Las Vegas, so moving to Texas and adjusting to the Tex-mex culture was a challenge. This is the first place I’ve had asada tacos from where the meat is freaking delicious. Nice and tender with no fat pieces like other places. The staff is friendly & the food is cooked to order so it’s fresh. I have been twice this week and I’m going back today.

Update: Tried the new breakfast tacos, and they were delectable! Awesome place! Scrumptious food and superb service!

Was there during my daughter’s BMT grad. We Airbnb closeby. We were looking for some authentic flavorful tacos. We Googled and found this place. Was so good we went back the next day. Will go back there if we’re in town.

Randomly came into this place and super glad I did. The place it self was nice, clean, and staff was friendly. After ordering they brought me chips and a verity of salsas in these cute plates. The food was ready fast and presented so cute in a little box. The tortillas where SO GOOD! Over all a cute small place to get grate food.
