I ordered quesadillas with nachos, my wife made a good trade fries to me and I gave her the nachos, will come again

Restaurant was very clean as always. Food was not as good as it used to be. But, that's pretty much everywhere anymore.

Good food, friendly staff! The only thing I wish they had was vegan “meat” options! To get a little bit more flavor and protein in your bow/burrito. Also can be pretty cramped and loud when they are busy.

Give this place a try. It’s got great, made from scratch food and the online ordering service was a breeze. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes and my food was so hot that it was literally too hot to eat when I got it back to the office. I will be ordering again soon!

Very good food. Cheaper than salsarita's and much better tasting.

2 visits so far and I’ve tried multiple items from the menu. The best thing on the menu are the corndogs. I tried the chili dogs. I didn’t notice the chili whatsoever as if it was nonexistent. The steak quesadilla was flavorless. But I came back the second time for the corndogs. Service is good, but the restaurant is not kept clean as the pictures will show. I noticed that the food is set waiting directly next to the cash register so while your food is being prepared other customers are standing over your food while they pay for theirs.

I have been looking for good places to eat in Spartanburg and this place deff takes the cake! The staff was all super nice and the food was way better then anywhere else I've been. I can't wait to bring my husband here!

The fries are the best thing they have. The hotdog buns were dry and hard there was no flavor to the food. Will not recommend but they have a great following. May God continues to bless their business

This place was so good I went back twice in one week for lunch. The hot dogs and corns dogs were great and hand made. Fries were crispy and well seasoned. This would be a weekly spot for me if I lived here and will be back next time im in town

This place was the best hotdogs i’ve ever had! i’m not exaggerating the chili was absolutely amazing and i am a picky eater but it was amazing and the onions were perfect too! My french fries were fresh and hot! The customer service was amazing two very sweet people they greeted me and made sure everything was okay with my order. Love this place definitely coming back!

This place is like moes, but better, and with hot dogs and burgers. ( not that I've tried them as I am vegetarian), friendly people, and good fresh food. The burritos are bombs, and so is the burrito in a bowl. The mexican rice is really good. Free chips, too. This may be the replacement for a restaurant I loved in my old town. I will definitely be back many, many times!

I had a burger, dog, and fries. Burger was really good. Dog and fries were decent. My company was not impressed with the burrito but I liked didn’t try it. Staff was excellent and super friendly. I’d def go back for a burger and the friendly staff. Prices were reasonable.

They have a lot to choose from but the quality is Not worth the price. I always get the vibe that I'm chewing wet dog food (or at least old food) and the staff is super unfriendly and just stares at you like you're an idiot for not knowing exactly what you want when they are ready to take your order.

The name Taco "Dog" fits this place. They charge $4.25 for a Taco "Grande" which is one single sloppy made Taco, served in a plastic basket. Expensive dog food!

Went for the first time today and while the food was good, it was a hair overpriced for what it was. However the worst part came when my fiance and I were leaving, he told me that while waiting to use the bathroom he heard an employee use the restroom and promptly leave without washing their hands. When I asked if he was sure, he said yes bc the paper towel dispenser makes noise when you use it and the sink was dry when he went in after them. Really unfortunate because otherwise we might have been back, but questioning the sanitation now so it's a no for us.

Got cheeseburgers Togo tonight. The customer service was off the chart! The phone call making the order, the guy was repeating my requests to make sure it was delivered correctly. When I arrived I was greeted with friendly faces. I believe I spoke to the owner or manager who came out to ask how I was doing today. I also over heard this person coaching and complimenting some of the employees, I really was impressed. I got a small town family restaurant vibe here. It was my first visit but not my last! The food tasted great! French fries tasted good with no sauce. Thank you for a great experience, the extra mile given doesn’t go unnoticed.

Really good hotdogs. Fresh made corn dogs too!! Much better than Holmes or Skins. Those hot dogs are just mush as you eat them. Have not tried the 'Taco' part of Taco Dog yet.

After 65 years of searching, I've finally found the best hamburger in spartanburg...

The food was good, but the prices are high and do not coincide with anything, my wife and my daughter got the exact same thing..but was charged 85 cents differently. The cheese burger on the menu says $9.35 and fries are $3.15. I was charged $14.95 instead. Response to the owner: If the drink was added to the Cheeseburger price, then I was double charged because the Coke on the receipt is what I drank and was charged for. Feel free to drink one on me today.

Well First Time But The Last Time, I've Been A Consistent Customer, But Three Of My Co Workers And Myself Were Food Poison Yesterday From The Hot Dogs And Still Paying For It Today Lord Help Us.!!!!!!!!

My first experience was great and pretty quick. I can vouch for the Chicago and Pimento Cheese dogs. And those lizards on the wall are pretty awesome. Reminds me of Fear and Loathing lol.

Cool to see that this place is still in business. I would come here a lot as a little kid, given that I lived so close to this establishment. The food was always good and I would always have a good time here. It makes sense that many of my childhood memories took place in this very establishment. Recommend for anyone interested.

The Carolina Dog is the closest dog to my back home Rough House's "all the way" I can get up here. Kids love to have the choices beyond the dogs, chips and queso chips is their go to side. A big plus is that they have several hot sauces you can add to amend you order.

Oh my Gah Girl Friend! These dogs put my mind on all the great things in life. I had the palmetto dog and said make it two! I was very disappointed me & my wife went here today & we got the Carolina dog combo & chili cheese fries the hotdogs were disgusting & so was the fries something’s not right about that chili it tasted like it had been reheated several times & also didn’t look too appealing I will not be going back they used to be ok but they are definitely falling off I spent 29.00 & wish I could get my money back that mess wasn’t worth the money smh

Normally more to go than eat in so I can't speak to atmosphere, but the food is always fresh and the service is always good.

My first time trying here. My friend grabbed me some food cause I'm at work. I received my order it was Nachos with black beans instead of beef, banana peppers instead of jalepenos and added tomatoes and removed the rice! No cheese,sour cream, nor lettuce were on the nachos though description said.They used the bottom of the bag of chips. I posted pictures. There was at least 2 seperate pieces of hair. I found the 2nd piece while on the phone with manager. I paid cash so they can not refund my order. They offered to remake my order. My friend can not make it back to pick up. They did offer for me to give them my name and I could get a replacement one day! I mentioned that I would rather not get a replacement. The concern with the issue is that the manager was very apathetic and like ok. I also work in customer service and the public. I was not rude and just wish there was some accountability. It should never have left the kitchen! I hope this brings awareness. Pictures were added to pictures to show the product!

It's a Taco bar, what they lack in ambiance is more than made up in quality food and attentive service.

Honestly, super disappointed. Spent five dollars on a single taco. The tortilla was not warmed up prior to use so it was not flexible enough to hold the toppings and the flavor was not great. Very similar to store-bought taco seasoning mix. Salsa tasted like nothing more than canned tomatoes staff was friendly and the place looks clean willing to trade them for their hotdogs but won’t be returning for tacos.

Very nice people that work in the restaurant. When you walk in they welcome you like you were family. Very young adult and kid friendly. Great family oriented restaurant.

This store and their customers saved my life today! Let me explain, I work at UltraTan right next door and as I was eating my dinner during my shift, I started choking. I wasn’t able to breathe and I stumbled inside Taco Dog for help. Instantly, people jumped to their feet to help me and make sure I was okay. Their employees provided me water and let me sit down for a few minutes to recoup while someone went to my store to watch over while I was gone. I can not thank those customers and the store enough!! I’ve never eaten here, but I will definitely be visiting this weekend!

Walked in and all four of the workers kinda just stood there behind the counter didn’t say nothing.. kinda creeped me out… got a burger, hotdogs and some fries and it costed me 20 bucks… sat down at my chair and had to figure out my food was done, it was just sitting on the counter and the workers were standing there. Mediocre food for the price.. could’ve went to outback for that price

They where nice and helped me figure out what spicy sauce I wanted. I got Chipotle ranch and oh my goodneeesss!! It's more spicy than ranch but it's not that spicy I'd put it with the same level as Texas Pete. It's so good and their quesadilla is so amazing

Gets a 5 star review from me. Not because it's gourmet quality food, but because everything you'd expect from a taco and hot dog restaurant they do and do well. Courteous professional staff. Clean restaurant. Nice looking interior. And the food was great. Everyone in my party liked everything they had and without a single complaint. I don't see any room for improvement here. Keep doing what you're doing, Taco Dog. We'll be back for sure.

The Grande Burrito will feed two hungry adults and stuffed to almost overflowing with beef, red beans, rice, guacamole, sour cream, salsa and cheese, cheese, and more cheese. The teens that were staffing the line were so polite and helpful. They repeated my order to me to be sure it was accurate and answered all my questions - it was my first time there but definitely not my last. Best burrito in town.

Wish I could give it a 4.7! Love this place, but it had been a looong while since eating here, so what I ordered was a bit more bland than I remembered, though likely my fault for not adding many of the tantalizing extras. Solid food quality & service, & don't let the name throw you off. They offer everything from Quesadillas to burgers to exciting hotdogs & fries (seriously!). Then there are the HUGE burritos & delish tortilla chips & salsa with a cilantro kick. A must try when visiting Spartanburg, especially if you have a big appetite & small budget!

Before COVID, I'd eat here regularly with co-workers, but now that I'm working from home in Inman, I don't come to town as much. Today was a different story though :-) We got to Taco Dog at 11am. That is the PRIME TIME. You can get ANY seat you want! You regulars know how packed this place is at lunchtime. I stuck with my usual favorite, the chicken quesadilla with olives, onions and jalapenos, but I asked if they had spicier salsa. Holy moly was it delicious! The quesadillas are huge and very filling. My boyfriend ordered the corn dog combo and devoured it. My only complaint is I wish there was one closer...like Inman...hint, hint ;-)

Cute and quaint bite for lunch or supper. The options are great where you can cater to what each person wants and no one has to compromise. Quick and easy in and out. Not sure if the "taco" meat should taste like chilli but that wasn't my favorite part.

We tried Tacodog for the first time tonight, and when we called to place the order Cody picked up, and was so extremely nice. My husband went to pick up the food, and they were very nice with him and super helpful! We will definitely eat here again.
