Got our food quick nice people good food 👍🏻

This place always does a good job. Nice hot oles with extra salt the way I like them. My only complaint would be the meat and potato burrito basically sucks. Don't order it.

Food is mediocre at best. And prices are outrageous. Service was great.

I was very impressed with the staff. There were seven employees working four on the line one taking calls for drive-thru one delivering drive-thru and one working register. The drive-thru was out in the street with a line waiting. The dining room was busy with me there was three people waiting for an order to go. My wait time was 5 minutes. Hats off to those seven people. They smiled they had good customer service. I've been eating at Taco John's for 50 years. I was impressed with the Taco John's in McCook. 💕

Pulled up to order and waited about 3–4 minutes and nothing. Looked up at the window and employee just staring at me 😝 No note outside or at drive thru window. Different guy walks out with trash in his hand, I say thanks for letting everyone know your closed; he said “oh sorry” drive all the way to Denver, Del Tacos are much better!! By the way this was at 8:30pm on a Friday in the summer!!

What's not to love. Taco Johns

When my wife and I travel we always eat at taco John's while traveling in Colorado and Nebraska love there taco burgers there potato ole's are outstanding the restaurant and restrooms are always clean, employees are always friendly love this place!

The drive thru employees provided great customer service.

As a former employee I can say go anywhere else. The boss is terrible to his employees and doesn't know squat about food service. If you want diarrhea here's where to get it. I'll eat Taco John's anywhere but McCook because I refuse to support someone like him in any way.

The food is so salty just awful and all the tables were dirty.

Don't park a semi here. Been doing on and off for several years. Today an employee asked me to back it up. And I said I would block the driveway next door. So he starts screaming at me about how it's his property. And didn't want his drive thru blocked. Even though I parked so people could easily still get to it. And I told him he didn't have to yell at me. And accused me of arguing with him. Even though I wasn't. I left out of fear because of the way he ran back inside. I thought he was going to get a knife or gun and come after me.

This is my favorite Taco Johns. Food is always correct, and the service is always good. The restaurant is always clean. The only disappointment is that the dining room is currently closing early due to a lack of help.

Update to say the chicken and bacon cheddar crunch taco is really tasty. Adding a picture. We stop at Taco John's in McCook often when we're in town running errands. For fast food it's the best! This morning for the first time I tried a scrambler, wanting a bowl instead of a tortilla. I didn't realize there was a choice of small or large, and was happy I could get a small. It was very filling, and had so many fresh chopped onions, peppers and tomatoes to go with the eggs, bacon and potatoes. My new favorite! By the way, the newly remodeled building is VERY nice!

The food was great but the service was quite slow and unfriendly. It took well over 5 minutes sitting in the drive thru and I was ignored the entire time until they handed me the food. No "Sorry for the wait." Or anything.

Always greet you at the door weather you are coming or going. Food is fantastic just the right amount and hot.

Great place for late nite snack. Open until 10 when others closed at 9.

We ordered 3 taco salads with ranch dressing through the drive through. The salads were great, they would have been better if we would have gotten the dressing.

Have had great service this last year. Too bad they are having staffing issues and have to close early. Wish them best of luck and hope they can find more staff just as courteous.

TERRIBLE. ALL MY FOOD WAS OVERCOOKED. MY BEEF TACO WAS STALE. PIECES OF THE TACO WERE MISSING. I ONLY GOT HALF OF MY ORDER. THE PERSON AT THE WINDOW NAMED HAYLEE STARTED YELLING OBSCENITIES AT ME WHILE I AT THE DRIVE THROUGH SPEAKER. WORST SERVICE! NEVER COMING BACK AGAIN!

No! Anyway no on the beef tacos. Ordered 3 hardshell beef tacos and they were the worst I've ever had. I've been going to Taco Johns for years in various towns but this was bad. You really couldn't tell there was any beef at all in them. The very thin layer on the bottom of the shell was so soupy, it literally was like eating lumpy watery taco sauce, with some very small pieces of I guess was hamburger mixed in. It was all lettuce and shell. Cheese was a few small shreds. And I realize that you aren't going to get a taco shell full of meat but this was just bad. I couldn't eat them and I was famished. Bad enough experience that I would not give them a second chance. I will say though that the service was friendly and fast, it was just the food was horrible!

10 hours on the road - HUNGRY & LATE. It was almost closing time, "Sure. Come on in." The tacos were great.

This afternoon I walked into one of my former usually eating spot Jimmy John's in McCook Nebraska. They been open for months now. The food was always fresh, & great. But the service has always been less than par. I went in, music was on loud, & no one was in site. I sat in one of the seats my stomach by then growling for me to feed it for something like 15 minutes. This not the first time this has happened, & I'm guessing it won't be the last, but I can bet they keep that up their doors might close as I've seen happen to other establishments that offer poor customer service. I guess though in today world not much can be expected that department. So I left the place, & walked back to my tried, & true eating place I've been going to often since I've been coming to McCook; Taco John's. Yes not the most healthiest option, but the food is always fresh, the service always reliable. So a big shout out to Taco John's of McCook for the most consistent, & fresh service available in town!

Food and service were great, the dining area was dirty. During a lunch rush or dinner rush it would be understandable. However at 215 in the afternoon it should definitely be cleaner. Otherwise great experience.

I always have TJs when I do laundry. I always ask for no lettuce on my tacos. A young trainee missed this today. No big deal. I wasn't gonna complain. When I was asked how things are I was honest and mentioned the lettuce. About three minutes later I had fresh tacos with no lettuce. The service and food is always great!

Me and my wife stopped in tonight and the service was on point, the food was great and it was a good experience. I was a general manager of one for a few years and these guys are awesome

Staff were nice and all, but the food wasn't very good. The tater tot things were way too salty- even my salt loving son couldn't eat them. The churros were delicious!

Taco salad if you can can it that. Hardly any lettuce or meat don't waste your money. My husbands soft tacos not much to them either. Food was cold. I should of taken a picture.

My potato oles were seasoned good they didnt forget anything. My burrito was huge and great and my food was hot and fresh. They were very friendly

Every time I go the food is great (hot and fresh) and the service is excellent. I love the 2 soft shell tacos and potato oles.

Try the street tacos! And go on a Tuesday to get hard shells!

Still good food but they don't have churos anymore which is why they get a 3 instead of 4 stars

I mean the food was no taco bell, but that's the beauty of it! They are fast, courteous, and the portions for cost doesn't look good, until your actually half way through the meal and your tank is almost full! Potato ole's with a mix of nacho cheese and sour cream is amazing, so give it a try 👍👌

The workers were courteous, the food was good and served in a timely fashion. Parking can be tricky when they are busy.

TJ Rewards have to be used in a roundabout way. Drive-thru is a bit deep so Camrys and Miatas beware. Otherwise a fine example of the chain's offerings. Food's fast and the staff is nice. Oi, corporate. Get these guys some fresh equipment. They deserve it.

There are quite a few food choices in McCook but we had seen several Taco Johns in our travels and decided to give it a try. Very nice staff, many wonderful food choices, a clean restroom, and multiple tables inside to sit and enjoy our meals. I had a side salad plus two chicken tacos - these were delicious and I could have eaten just one and been full. My husband had a chicken burrito which he really liked. Great place - we would eat here again!

Good food, polite workers, clean place to eat or drive through.

Way too noisy the staff in the kitchen are so loud you can hardly hear the person at the cash register. They really need to update their kitchen section and block it off but other than that the food was good.

I have liked Taco John's since I was about 7 or 8 years old! It's great food for not an expensive price! They're always nice and clean!

The food is always fresh and delicious but if they get extremely busy they tend to screw up orders but are quick to fix it or make it right

Food was horrible, restaurant was filled with smoke from the kitchen, smells horrible. Ordered burritos, they were far below average, fillings were not fresh and burrito barely had ANY meat. Will definitely not go again.

Usually pretty quick service, I'm mostly a drive thru window customer. Foods nothing special, but you get good portions. Special on Tuesday's, "Taco Tuesday" not that great of a deal, but draws a lot of traffic. Have breakfast menu now so open longer.

Taco Johns had a wide variety of tasteful "mexican" based foods. The potato olays are famous and I can see why. The food is good, just not the healthiest by any means.

Taco John's is one of my favorite fast food places. This particular TJs is clean and friendly, though it can suffer a bit when they get slammed at lunch.

Love the super nachos... My son had his first super nachos and loved them... The place is clean and the staff is friendly.

Crunchy chicken meat and potato burrito. Just do it. Taco Tuesday's are the best. Sometimes the inside is not the cleanest but usually the staff is friendly and service is quick.

we were late getting around for supper, so it was about 9 pm when I visited for a carry out. I ordered the taco salads for my husband and myself. the crew worked well together and got my order out fast and complete. store is very clean, workers are friendly and pleasant. taco salads were very fresh, the greens were prepared quite nicely, no big chunks or odd pieces. would have liked a little more cheese, but we didn't feel deprived.

I enjoy Taco Johns, however I had a very bad experience at this location. The person behind the register refused to take my digital coupon I received as a member of their food club, when I asked to speak with a manager and contact info for the owner I was verbally accosted by several people behind the counter. I was told they could not give me contact info for the owner, but would have him contact me. I have not been contacted. As I left an employee yelled at me saying "only participating stores have to take coupons". I did not eat at this location after the ordeal, I would not recommend this particular location
