Tacos El Fluffy is a must if you’re in Pensacola, FL. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Everything was fresh, hot and served very quickly. The service was great… everyone was so nice and welcoming. We got the breakfast burritos with chorizo & it was phenomenal! There are many different varieties to their aguas frescas but we all loved the cucumber lime the most. I’d chug a gallon! The prices are good, too! We will be visiting every time we’re back this direction for sure!

I walked into that building and the smell was amazing. I said " wow ! That smell is amazing." There were so many great options to choose from, there was a lot, I had the breakfast burrito. It was a big burrito, a beautiful burrito. Best burrito ever, and frankly the fact that sharkbite burrito beat the TEF burrito is the corrupt swamp at work. If you want a great breakfast burrito go to TEF. If you want great customer service, go to TEF. If you want an excellent atmosphere and great prices go to TEF. Tacos El Fluffy; a little local spot with a huge flare for authentic food My spouse and I had to make an unscheduled trip to Pensacola earlier today and by great fate, we stumbled upon Tacos El Fluffy! Pulling up to the small store front had me skeptical at first. But man! My experience was way more than the square footage is! From the second you walk in you are greeted by a super clean and trendy vibe as well as a warm welcoming from the owner, Geo. A quick verbal tour of the menu by Geo and we were left with all types of selections that sounded great. We settled for the street tacos and some fresh tamales - all of which were delicious. I’ll even go a step further and say that the street tacos, packed inside of the homemade tortillas, might be the best street tacos that I have ever had. You can also tell that Geo takes great pride in the fact that he is running a family business that delivers an authentic Mexican experience. Only problem I see? Tacos El Fluffy, folks, is simply tremendous. Believe me, nobody does tacos better. I’ve tried them all, and these are the best. The best! The flavors are huge, just fantastic. The meats are perfectly seasoned, so juicy. And the tortillas? Perfectly soft and fresh. They know what they’re doing, folks. Great atmosphere, great people. It’s a winning combination, truly. If you’re not eating at Tacos El Fluffy, you’re missing out. Big league tacos, folks. Absolutely terrific. TEF really have made tacos great again!

just tried El fluffy this morning. family owned and run. this place is so good. I was happy to find out that they are from Texas. The flavors were fantastic as well as the sauce. I can’t wait till they open the other side and expand their menu. I definitely feel like they need to be charging more. It was so inexpensive.

I went here two days in a row and brought a friend the second time around. I loved that everything tasted fresh and homemade. Also huge fan of their extra spicy side sauce I added to all of my dishes!

Update: I’m a pcola resident now, this is my favorite place to get some authentic Latin food. We’ve come here a few times and brought my family from out of town. The pork and chicken tamales are to die for. The quesadillas are great and they’re ginormous. The fresh squeezed juice is delicious. Their salsa verde and tamales are the best I have ever had, especially with the pickled onions. They gave us strawberry flan for the wait and that was phenomenal too. I still love this place and I’d go every day if I could! 6 months ago: From out of town, visiting my significant other, and let me just say these are the best tamales I’ve had since I lived in TX. We ate so many of them when we got home, we should’ve ordered more! We’ll definitely be coming back before I leave to go back home and we’ll definitely be coming back when I come back to visit.

I had to make a review for this place, the food was just amazing!! The employees were friendly and welcoming. Food was so fresh and flavorful and made in house. The TAMALES!! OH MAN chefs kiss. Definitely coming back and bringing more friends!!!

Foods taste good but if u expect a company to go above and beyond....... not here. Called at 830pm to see if I could place one order. No answer. I drove up there and parked at 843pm and the door is locked and the open sign is on. To employees are in the store. Female employees is closing the register and counting money and gesturing at me while smiling from ear to ear. She signals a male that was mopping to open the door. He drops the mop on the floor and proceed to tell me that there closed..... all at before 850pm. Snooty atmosphere with conflicting horrible customer experience. I could even get service.

A cute, little taco shop in Pensacola!🌮 Tacos El Fluffy provides a variety of meat options to put in your tacos as well as a personable customer experience! Atmosphere: The space is small with the register/kitchen in the back of the space and the seating area in the front. I love their mural that runs along the walls of the register counter! Service: The owner is very personable and goes out of his way to meet customers and have conversation with them. You can tell that he cares about his business and the people who visit. Menu items: I tried a variety of tacos that included the following meats: chicken, steak, beef, and tongue. The food is simply prepared but tastes fresh and flavorful. Their menu is simple with options that include tacos, quesadillas, burritos, tamales, soups, and even some breakfast items!🌮

I'm thrilled they offer handmade tortillas! I'd gladly pay extra for that quality any time. Mass-produced ones just don't compare. If I end up with a summer home in Pensacola, I'd be interested in investing in this restaurant. They've got potential, but a few details, like the absence of queso fresco on my taco or crema, need attention. Plus, I'd love to give the shop a more trendy look.

The lengua is like a latin pot roast, made out of filet mignon. It is seasoned perfectly. The aguas frescas are fresh and not made from a mix. They are very flavorful and not watered down.

Tacos El Fluffy has the best tacos in Pensacola! In fact, they have the best tacos I’ve ever had! My whole family was delighted by the amazing food, the fast and friendly service, and the clean and cool atmosphere. We’ll be back tomorrow!

Love the place, first time being there and they went over the menu with us, love that shows me that they are proud of it and they should be you can taste freshness in their handmade tortilla which is so soft and those homestyle meats are amazing. My favorite was the lengua, meaty, and fatty just on point, I did feel that needed just a little more salt.

Terrible place, do not go here. I think the people who give good comments here are people who do not know anything about taste. I live in California and I went here on my visit to Florida. I ate one Bruto. It was the worst Buritto I have ever eaten in my life. I wanted it a horchata and it definitely brought me something completely different. The girl looking at the cashier there looks like a very careless and rude person and definitely do not go here.

I’m actually amazed at this place every time I come. this is the most authentic mexican food that I’ve had. Their drinks made in house are DELICIOUS and every thing I have tried (half of it new because I’m just a white guy exploring food) has been SO GOOD. This place really feels like love in the air with the friendliness of the staff, unique atmosphere of Mexican culture, and delicious fresh food. This sounds like such a fake review but this place is just that good.

This is the absolute best new(er) spot in Pensacola! The family owned and operated space is run by an exceptional team who care about delivering quality food, in the most pleasant experience around. We just experinced the most amazing, authentic and fresh food at Tacos El Fluffy!! We went for breakfast and met the owner. He and his family are using family recipes from his grandma! We loved it so much we went back the next day. Everything is fresh including the juice. The tortillas are incredible and made to order. Enjoy!!!!!!

Compared to actual Mexican places, it's mid. I wouldn't go here again. Ordered the jalapeño cheese tamales, they were bad. Barely any cheese. The barbacoa quesdilla was incredibly greasy and mushy, not bad tasting but a texture nightmare.

Tacos El Fluffy is amazing! Everything was delicious and cooked with love and was very fresh. We were extremely impressed with the Breakfast tacos that each had a protein choice. So good! Then the breakfast burritos which also get any choice of protein. Do not miss them! The tamales, wow! Fresh and like they were cooked by an abuela! You can choose from pork, chicken, steak, tongue, and even a vegan option. We got the jugo de piña con hibiscus (pineapple and hibiscus), made fresh in house. All the juices are made here fresh. All the employees were so kind, explained the menu thoroughly, and even got to meet the owner who was awesome. The salsas (verde and roja) were both really tasty. The red sauce had a nice heat to it. The green sauce was very delicious. This place is going to have a long future in Pensacola. Don’t miss out!

First I’d like to say that the staff is very friendly and welcoming. They also have a bookcase with free kids book (both English and Spanish), which is a first for me…and I love it! Now to the food. I ordered a chicken taco and a carne asada taco with avocado and Mexican cheese. It cost me an extra 1.60 to add the cheese and avocado (which was ok by me because that’s what I review when I try different restaurants) Needless to say, I wasn’t wowed. The chicken wasn’t what I expected, neither was the carne asada. They both lacked flavor to me and the sliver of avocado should NOT have cost .80.. I’m just being honest.

Had the Barbacoa quesadilla. It was fantastic. All fresh ingredients. A marinated the meat for half a day, then slow cooked it. The tortilla was handmade as well. Just became another go to Place!

Wonderful food, homemade tortillas made fresh. All food has excellent flavor and priced fairly. The people are wonderful and kind. We take my family including my toddler and baby. Geo is phenomenal. He held my baby so we could eat our meals while they were hot. Don’t sleep on their breakfast food. I will take pictures next time we go. It is spotless inside and food is constantly good.

This tiny, cute restaurant in the Pensacola area is just amazing. The setting was simple and nice, it was clean and family friendly. The service was AMAZING, the staff were friendly and helpful. The food, which was freshly made and served was great. The best part is that there is vegetarian and vegan food, which makes it possible for families who are vegan or vegetarian to eat.

This place is a little out of our way, but we heard a lot of great things about it, so we decided to make the trip. So glad we did. We had a burrito and tacos and they were very good. The Homemade fluffy tortillas really make a difference. We grabbed a bag of tamales for lunch at home the next day, I left them in the husk and warmed them up in the toaster oven. I actually stopped ordering tamales awhile ago, because they were usually disappointing. These Did Not disappoint, they were Very Good! I love the green sauce. We will be back.

Tried the tacos here for the first time. My daughter and her husband go often. Very cute and clean inside. Tacos were great, love the homemade tortillas, and the sauces are fantastic. The owner came out and spoke with me. He was just such a genuinely kind person. Brought my husband some tacos home and he loved them.. he’s kind of a taco snob. Lol He wants to go back soon. Don’t let the surrounding area scare you off!! Go try this place!

Just came across this place today and absolutely thrilled to have finally found a great, true authentic Mexican restaurant in Pensacola. The prices are extremely reasonable, the food is great, and the customer service/ hospitality is top notch. I just had a nice long chat with one of the ladies that works there and they truly care about their customers and the quality of their food. I highly recommend everything about this place. On Tuesdays they have a special for 3 tacos (meat of choice), a bean and pork soup and a bottle of water for 10$!! Places around here will charge you 15$+ for just 3 extremely mediocre tacos. You guys just got yourselves some new regulars. Rant over, just go try this place out.

The food here is so good, you'll definitely leave feeling fluffy. I went with my husband and kids, so after ordering for all of us, we each got to sample each other's meals. Everything tasted amazing, but my favorite was the Lengua. They have fresh made salsas that add even more flavor, and if you like super spicy, you're in luck. They offer a sauce that'll kick your taste buds into submission. If you need something to wash it all down, ask for their fresh "aguas". Don't let the word fool you into thinking their fresh squeezed fruit juice is any less flavorful than the word depicts. Since it's freshly made, not all flavors are available, but no matter which you choose, you know it'll be delicious. Definitely give this veteran owned place a try. Your taste buds will thank you as well as the rest of the local community that the ingredients are sourced from.
