We ordered delivery. We ordered extra cheese and mushrooms on steak subs. Paid $3 extra and got neither. Very disappointing for price.

One of my favorite places to eat... I love their Greek Salad UPDATE: Been a long time but finally made it back over for lunch. Mary seated us as soon as we came in with a smile.. she is the sweetest.. i had the Chicken Cacciatore w/ greek salad minus the olive and my Hunny had the Gyro pita w/ crispy fries. Jennifer was our server and she was super sweet and very attentive to our every need. She kept our drinks full. Even as busy as they were with inside and pick-ups and deliveries, the servers and kitchen kept up and ran a smooth ship! I can't believe i got up and almost walked out without my leftovers, they caught me before i got out the door...thanks for another great visit.. till next time!

Was expecting much more from this restaurant, but was disappointed. Ordered a grilled chicken salad with cheese on the side. The lettuce was old and typical of a pizza place trying to serve a salad. The tomatoes were not fresh, and the salad was served with cheese despite being requested to not have cheese on it. The chicken was the worst part and had a spongy, questionable texture that felt as though it was not fully cooked and then thrown in a microwave. The possibility for food poising was present in mind. When I asked for the salad to removed from the check I was put through the hoops and argumentative defensive postering despite not eating any of it. Would try another place for better food and service.

My wife has fond memories of coming to this place as a kid when they were at the previous location. “In their prime” as she says. She’s brought me here plenty of times. Although I’m not a huge fan she enjoys the food. Today my wife wanted a bite to eat before going shopping. Most of the time servers, food, and overall experience is slightly above average. We sat in a timely manner, ordered specifically what we wanted. Two sweet teas, Small Stromboli, medium Greek salad, small steak sandwich, a side of fries, a bowl of ranch, and a bowl of lemon chicken soup. The exact same order we always get. Things seem to be as per usual. We received our food. My wife politely asked for the bowl of ranch as the portion she was given was not what was asked. A simply exchange for what she initially ordered and no issue would have been found. Jennifer our server quite rudely asked if she “really needed more than that”. My wife said “yeah just the bowl please” she took the small ranch container off of her plate without warning and walked away. This was super uncalled for. We made sure to ask for it in advance to avoid any confusion. This of course made my wife embarrassed that she asked. She’s not the type to make any waves. I politely asked for a manager. When the manager came to the table, she obviously wanted to backup the server. My wife spoke up to explain the situation. She didn’t have an apology to offer or any way to come to a resolution. My wife asked that we get our bill and boxes to take the food home. She no longer wanted to eat or be there. We paid the full $50 bill and went on it way. We got all the way home and realized we in fact left the container of ranch on our table. In the scramble to pack up in leave with our 3 month old. So I of course made the drive back to the restaurant to grab it. When I went to the counter I told her that we forgot it on the table, she made me another and wanted me to pay for it. I had only been gone from the restaurant maybe half an hour if that. So I asked if I could have a refund. When asking for a refund the manager told me that she couldn’t because we took the food and the owner wouldn’t approve of it. Guess you can get treated however these days. I can understand everyone has their days. But it takes nothing to have a small bit of courtesy as a server when we did nothing to make a wave. No wonder why the restaurant was pretty empty and looks under kept.

It was my first time there. Overall, it was okay. We got a pork pita and Gyro with Greek salad. The Greek dressing was really good. The sandwiches were tasty but were average. I do recommend this Takis.

Very greasy overpriced food. They actually lost me at the terrible tasting water. clearly the restaurant is in need of water treatment. When I think of Greek food I think of healthy mediterranean food, salads, chicken kebabs. the appetizer plate was over fried pub items. mushrooms squirted oil onto our shirts. With so many other dining options- I won’t be going back.

We always enjoy this place and visit often. We just moved to the area a few months ago and found this little gem early in our move. Everything we've tried on the menu is good. I especially love their "Special" pizza with a Greek salad on the side! So good! The atmosphere is very friendly and pleasant, with a great staff, so we recommend it to everyone we know. If you're looking for a place with good food, a laid back, small-community-like friendly folk atmosphere, this place is well worth your time! I highly recommend you stop by!

We didn't eat in, just ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a side of 3 huge meatballs. The pizza was hot & amazing. The dough, sauce - everything was so good and tasty. The meatballs were fresh, tender and so flavorful. I was recommended here, and we will definitely be back. Next time we'll come in and try some pasta!

I came for the Greek food and it wasn’t very good I thought.

Enjoyed a Gyros Dinner Plate followed by Tiramisu for desert. WOW! Another find that I will definitely come back to.

Ordered food for pickup. It was the worst gyro I ever had. Teenie tiny pieces of gyro that wouldn’t even stay on the fork. It’s like I got the scraps scraped off the bottom

Tasty Greek and Italian meals at reasonable prices.

Read a lot of reviews before coming here as we’ve been eyeing it since we moved here two years ago, finally decided to try it out. Food was delicious and the portions were huge! Not just ours but others around us since we always like to look as we walk to our seat to see what looks good. Price of food was great as well, very reasonable for what we got. The only really down side was our waitress. She was NOT friendly at all, barely spoke just nodded, and had an attitude. If it wasn’t for her, would’ve given 5 stars. The hostess helped us more than the waitress did, and each time she went back to the front counter, she had the dirtiest looks on her face. Definitely made our first time there not as great as hoped. But food makes up for it.

Good food and prices great staff

I had a gyro..made a big deal that I wanted pickles on it... It had three small pieces of meat..some greens that looked like it was taken off someone's finished meal...and NO PICKLE.. They USE TO BE VERY GOOD.. WHAT HAPPENED

Chicken parmesan and eggplant rollatni dinners are excellent! Great salad and dressing too!

Side salad and 8" sandwich were very good and enough to fill a large appetite for dinner. Service was nice but a little slow. Diner type atmosphere. Have eaten their Calzone before and it is enough for at least 2 meals and very good as well.

The food is horrible. Everything is soggy & tasteless. The waitstaff were sitting around in disgusting houseshoes! It was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had.

The food is very bad at this restaurant. I had a gyros sandwich today and it came in little tiny pieces the waitress refused to replace it when I talk to the manager he said well we must’ve just cut it at the end The food has been going downhill at this restaurant. If you go there, you’ll see hardly anybody’s in the restaurant anytime you go.

We were a party of approximately 30 people, and the waitress did a phenomenal job! Very attentive, kept drinks filled, delivered all of the food to the correct people and very timely! Excellent experience, can't wait to come back.

Small portions, train station like atmosphere inside, food should be cheaper

Not for me. Got the small Greek salad, it had 1 olive, 1 pepperchini, 1 tomato and had a good amount of water under the lettuce. Plenty of ham and fetta but the watery lettuce made it inedible for me. The greek dressing had very little seasoning so I didn't even use it. The grilled chicken was way over seasoned with oregano, it's almost burnt your mouth eating, it was so overbearing. Chicken was tender but again could not be eaten

I always get the baked spaghetti; you can't go wrong with it. It comes with a Greek salad, which I absolutely love. It blows Stavros out of the water.

Great pizza and there Greek salad

Food was wonderful as always. We had friends in town for Leesburg Bikefest and this is always our first choice for dinner!!!!

We were served by Brittany, who was friendly and attentive. Our glasses were never empty, and we wanted for nothing. We had the saganaki, tyropita, pizza and chicken souvlaki. All were excellent and flavorful. The saganaki especially was on point. My wife is now a fan of rice pilaf because of their unique peppery (mild chile of some sort) take on it, as served with the souvlaki. My wife and I are huge fans of Greek food and even went to Greece on our honeymoon. The Greek items that we bought measured up well. Note that there is a "Greek Village" salad on the menu for those fans of a proper Greek salad like you would get over there (no lettuce, big blocks of feta). I got the Margarita pizza but added Italian sausage. The crust reminded me of an airy Sicilian but not thick like a Sicilian, so don't walk in expecting NY style. If you can keep an open mind about that, it's a very good pizza. I loved mine. Next time I want to do more on the Italian entrees side of the menu and get one or two of their delicious-sounding desserts. Thank you Brittany and Takis!

Last week we stop for lunch at Takys Greek restaurant. We have a very nice time Food is very good service excelente We recommended to visit You will have a good time

Everything was okay but the food. The Alfredo sauce is way too sweet. The lamb is well seasoned, but overcooked and was super tiny. The calamari had no flavoring and was tire rubbery. The Greek lasagna wasn’t flavored well, and whatever was on top was too sweet as well and had a texture of stuffing and mashed potatoes mixed together. It was not tasteful and the noodles were way too long and it was not put together well. We ended up paying almost $70 even after we told them we didn’t like the food and were not happy. No discount or anything. We ended up going to another restaurant afterwards because we barely ate anything and were still hungry. 2/10 terrible. The only good thing was the garlic bread.

Ate at Takis for the first time since moving to Florida, I was craving a Gyro and they definitely delivered! Lexi was very pleasant, portions were very generous and didn't hit the wallet too hard. Will visit again ! ORDER THE SAGANAKI !

Arrived before they closed and treated us like we were just as special if we were the first that day.

I'm not working here anymore but I still come by for food. I got three subs for me and my roommates and they were actually some of the best I've had there. Very fat this evening but it was not extremely busy. Thanks for all the years and all the friendships. I love all you guys

It was only 73⁰ outside. The dining room had to be 65⁰. We ordered to dine in and left for take-out. It's always cold in there. I brought a sweater with me but it was still too cold to dine in. The waitress claimed they were working on the a/c. We saw no service vehicles outside for a/c repairs.

We were a group of 18. Service was excellent, food was delicious and they were generous servings. Can't wait to go back

I've always ordered and had it delivered and it was great everytime. My recent trip in will be the last time I eat here again. Very disappointed in the whole place. Your customer service is a lot like your company.... failing! STAVROS IS BETTER!

Seems to be empty at any typical rush time for restaurants, and based on the service I experienced I understand why that is. The prices have increased drastically while the service and food has deteriorated ove the last year and a half. It is sad because this was once one of Leesburg's best places to eat.

Combo plate had very tiny servings of food. My beverage wasn't ever offered a refill. Server not too friendly. Baklava serving tiny, for price.

Place is great food is great. But they are almost never available for delivery during their posted delivery hours. Always either;booked out (hours before end of their delivery hours, and I've been told I can't put an order in advance) or their delivery driver doesn't take orders past a certain time, but it's always a different cut off time depending on who answers, despite it being the same driver (possibly owner) Everytime. The food is always as expected or better but the lack of service and lack of updating website and Google is just frustrating. You say orders for delivery are available until 7:00pm but when you call at 5:40 they say no delivery driver is booked out until (insert time) if there is a limit you should mention that. Same thing applies during Sundays (later delivery time than M-Sat) you can call at 6 and same thing. " Booked out ". Also paid for a delivery one time and had a call back 40 minutes later that my delivery was canceled but food ready in 20 if I still wanted it. I've attempted to order probably a dozen times since coming to Leesburg, and 3-4 times I ordered delivery and got it as expected, and 4 times attempted to order delivery well within the companies posted and frequently updated delivery hours but said it was unavailable. Either you offer delivery or you don't. I feel as if it's extremely simple concept to offer a service or you don't. Not when you feel like it. I would give them even more business but it's so wishy washy that I would rather take a cut on quality of food for a company that honors their frequently updated hours. Pretty much given a middle finger to customers when you update/confirm your hours to goggle every other month but fail to adhere to that 89.99999% of the time.

Food was good but I would pass on the gyros (very little meat) the calzones, pasta and salads are fabulous though. We will be back but will order Italian.

My wife and I are in WW . We ordered chicken Cacciatore there was enough to take home and have the next day . The server was great, meals came out being very warm (nice) for a change . This dosen’t happen at sone restaurants. There we 3 couples we went home very satisfied with everything

I got the Mediterranean plate. The falafel was yummy, it looked like a hush puppy being round but tasted great.

Has very good verity of food. Servers very nice.

Family atmosphere. Nice variety of food with some lovely Greek food! Portions were large and food was delish! I didn't order the lasagna but a local person from that area said it was to die for! Greek salad was fab.

Lambchops and rice pilaf was good along with the lemon chicken soup.

Five of us for Valentine’s Day. Service was good, except server did not return to our table after serving dinner until we flagged her to come over. Seating and atmosphere was good. All orders of food needed more garlic and marinara sauce. The spaghetti sauce had no meat! Three out of five liked of us liked their food, two of us felt it tasted like banquet food, not great. Portion sizes huge! Greek salad excellent! Most likely will return. Please train your servers to return to check after serving entrée.

So, I came in by myself as I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and my family had other plans so, why not. I was craving some Greek food that I hadn’t had since I moved down from Ohio about a year ago. This is gonna be a somewhat long review, but I will say I had a very positive experience with only some minor critiques/suggestions. Definitely nothing that would keep me from giving a 5-Star. First, walking in the door. It did take a little bit of time to be greeted at the host stand and seemed like a lot of staff behind the pick up counter with only 1 person walking around the dining area. However, I think I hit things after some larger parties left and there was a lot of food in the window so it was most hand on deck in the back. Once greeted, staff was very friendly. And my server was very attentive throughout my meal. My order: Mythos Beer (bottle), Fried Calamari, Gyro Pita (Greek style). Beer was great, light, easy to drink and refreshing. Fried Calamari: First, the calamari was fried very well. Crispy, light, and the calamari was tender but had the bounce I like. Plus, I enjoy it included tentacles and not all rings. Marinara sauce was tasty. My only suggestion is I think it would go to another level if you included some pepperoncini rings dredged and fried with the calamari, but it’s still very good. Gyro Pita: The pita was great. Nice and soft but strong enough to not fall apart with all the wet ingredients inside. The Gyro meat itself was tender and flavorful. The tzatziki did leave a little to be desired. While it didn’t have a negative impact on the flavor, it also didn’t add much. It was very thick and tasted somewhat like plain sour cream, even though I could see some herbs in it. Might cut it with some yogurt, add some more herbs, and I didn’t get any cucumber, so not sure if that is just the recipe or just this batch. The fries on the “Greek style” is something I’ll probably pass on next time. They were fried well but were fairly bland. I understand the reason for going light on salt, but I then think they could make up for that with some other flavors like a blend of dried garlic, dill, oregano, and cumin would add a little more flavor to compliment the Greek origin, even a little dash of Cinnamon. Overall, a great experience and I look forward to coming back to try the Mousaka, Pastichio, and other menu items.

Excellent service Delicious food

I've been to this place before and was excited to enjoy the tasty food today when I came in... The restaurant was basically empty. I was not greeted in any way. I walked up to the counter and a min later the server walked up to me, behind the counter and I said I would like to order to go. And she said "do you know what you want" I said "I think I want a souvlaki" and was obviously looking through the menu and was wanting to ask a question And she said "I'll give you a min" and walked off to go clean some empty tables in the corner she basically acted lile I need to flag her down to make an order... The restaurant was literally empty... there weren't even 10 diners in there. I was waiting for her to come back and decided that if she was that indifferent about taking my order then I'm indifferent about parting with my money for this type of service. I typically tip for to-go orders as I worked for years in the service industry myself. Unfortunately with this type of service I'm sure the restaurant will loose business. When I went in the past the service and food were good. I'm not sure will be in again. This was a very poor experience and showed me there is little care for the customer.

Takis has my favorite pizza in Lake County. I love the sauce and the dough is so tasty. Also, their meatballs are to die for. Usually we just buy a side of meatballs and a side of garlic bread. This makes a great meatball sub. Yum yum.

Don't bother ordering the loaded baked potatoe for over 3 bucks more. Came with only cheese. No butter, bacon bits, scallion, sour cream, or BUTTER... it was everything my husband could muster to choke it down. I ordered a gyro plate with fries. Had to ask for ketchup for my fries since it wasn't offered and salt, which is normally added right after being cooked, but here they were very much plain. The seasoning for the gyro meat was spot on, but because the meat was a mix of lamb and beef, it tasted a little different than what im used to. Felt maybe more beef tham lamb. That being said, the staff was nice and the restaurant was open, clean and nice and cool inside.

Great place for friends to gather after Church!

Family came to town. Got take out from Taki’s. Everybody raved about the food even after I drove it home. Everything was delish! 2 Greek salads with chicken and salmon, 2 pizzas, 2 sandwiches, 1 Stromboli, and 1 pasta. Order was perfect. Counting the days til we can go eat in and enjoy there!

Quick service for pickup, even with the dining area being packed. Always plenty of staff who seem busy but eager to help.

Went at 11 am on a Wednesday and had to wait over an hour for our food. The food was good but too long of wait.

We are relatively new to Florida. Still settling in and trying to find some good dining places for eating out. My wife and I are retired and enjoy life's simple pleasures - like a good meal close to home. Once we found this Greek restaurant, we found a great place for very casual dining. Go just as you are and have a delicious meal. They have a Big menu. I'm sure you can find something that will make you want to come back again.

I just had the worst service ever at this restaurant! Our server was rude, unattentive, did not care if we were there or not. Spoke to the manager who in all honesty, didn't seem all that concerned. His excuse was it's hard to find good help, no apology. I am in the restaurant business and I can say, we would never put up with an employee like that. I won't be back.

Visited during lunch and tried out the gyros. Overall the taste of the gyro meat was good but the portions were much smaller than I expected. The pita was nice and I liked that they used thinly sliced red onions. I found it lacking on the tzatziki sauce and I had to ask for more. Instead of getting fries or let you purchase just a gyro 🥙 separately, it came with this little bag of Ruffles potato chips. Like the kind you buy a large box of to put in school lunches. 😅 Our waitress forgot silverware until we asked for it and generally made us feel like we were a bother to be there. Wasn't an awful experience but not in a rush to go back.

For my second visit, and first sit down in this restaurant, it was pretty bad. They didn't put in our drink order after asking TWICE about it. Didn't give us any of our other food that came with our meal. Gave me the WRONG food and tried to argue with me about it. Didn't finish my meal after waiting 20 additional minutes because it was cold. The waitress had a quiet nonchalant attitude about everything. Then they tried to make me pay for a meal I couldn't even finish nor enjoy. Seems like they are good for takeout. But to sit down and enjoy a meal was not a good experience. Especially when they weren't even busy tonight.

Average. Gyro, pizza, and greek salad. Nothing great. Nothing bad.

Absolutely LOVE their pizza! One of our favorite is the greek pizza.

Food is usually always good, But the Service has been slacking the last 2 times we came in for lunch. It sucks when we work outside and come in for a nice meal and A/C but we sit empty on our water for 5 -10 mins at a time and have to get up and track someone down for a refill.

I had one of the most delicious grilled chicken Greek salads ever and they’re dressing was also very delicious Prices were also very good Group of 20 of us all raved about our food was so delicious, and our waitress took such good care of us and did an excellent job. Will definitely go back

They have a wonderful baked spaghetti...yum We were a group of 12 people. They made accommodations for us. The waitress was very good. She kept the orders together, checked on us often and had a great attitude.
