I just didn’t think a simple coffee shop could be this good! Tried 4 lattes and I loved Salted Maple with mushroom added as well as super food latte. Stephenie was so friendly and we chatted a bit. Very chill vibe. Don’t leave OB without coming here.

Cute little tiki-looking corner shop with large variety of coffee and kombucha. Really liked their banana espresso coffee (pro tip: do 1/2 sweet otherwise it’s too sweet). Small selection of donuts and croissants too. Super kind server. Awesome little morning spot!

Best kombucha I have ever tried, would definitely recommend. Affordable price of $10 to try 4 glasses of different flavours.

So bummed they stopped ordering their pastries from split house!! They used to have so many yummy vegan options! Other than that, this is the perfect neighborhood shack offering coffee, booch, snacks, curated vibes and cool merch. Bring back the vegan options!!!

Every time I’m in SD I stop by. Every flavor of booch on tap is flavorful, and the service is always second to none. The people who work there seem to like what they’re doing. 10/10 would recommend.

I had a great experience at the Tap Shack! I went there with 8 of my own 16 oz bottles, not even aware they had exactly 8 drinks of their homemade kombucha. Each one had its own distinct color, taste, and special ingredients! Even though I have my favorites now, all eight were excellent! The extra bonus was the amazing customer service I got from Rah! Thank you for what you do💝 And to the owners, thank you for what you do💝

I also love that they have kombucha on tap; the flights are perfect to try 4 flavors. I could spend hours sitting here in the sun sipping on the best kombucha in SD 🫶

The world's best kombucha! Seriously. Not too sweet, not too tangy. Just right. I've tried many kombuchas and none compare. The flavors are always great and rotate frequently. All natural ingredients. Really cool little shack right in Ocean Beach. I always love taking it to Sunset Cliffs and enjoying my kombucha by the ocean.

Really amazing neighborhood spot! The kombucha flavors are very well thought out. I've been every day for my fix while in town and was excited to learn they ship so I can order it back to home! The staff is super friendly and happy to answer any questions, make recommendations or even give you a taste if your on the fence about trying something new. Highly recommend stopping here to support them!

Where do I even start with Tap Shack?! Everyone who works there is lovely. The owners are so kind and really make their customers feel valued and taken care of. They make delicious kombucha (shout out to the Apple Pie flavor!!) and regularly carry vegan pastry options. I love the convenience of the option to grab your kombucha in a can or a cup. They also make great coffee (the cold brew!!) and have a great gift shop area. I have bought three of their blankets over the years. Fair prices, kind humans, delicious treats! What else could you ask for?

The best kombucha ever! We were in San Diego for 10 days and went back multiple times. We are from Ontario and have searched for kombucha as good as this and have not found it. The colour and taste is beautiful. Love the refillable glass jars as well. Highly recommend.

I love tap shack, they have really great coffee and matcha drinks (I’m picky so you know the matcha is good), and of course the star of the show- their rotating kombucha flavors on tap and bottled to go. I also love their little shop with blankets, candles, and merch- shop local!

We come here weekly to get our fresh kombucha and they always have a new flavor and are generous with samples. Always friendly staff and we always find parking right outside

I’m straight up addicted to their superboost cold brew & I love their kombucha as well. The staff members are notably friendly & welcoming. My only complaint is that they are pretty stingy with their loyalty program points & rewards—which kind of sucks if you’re a regular. All in all, the OB tapshack hut is a hidden treasure.

I’ve only gotten coffee here, so can’t speak on the kombucha but this is my new favorite coffee spot! Baristas are always so nice and the coffee is amazing and fairly priced. Love having this place in the OB neighborhood

Love coming here for the vanilla nitro cold brew. Always get Some to go as well. Their kombucha flight is super cool and they have many good flavors to try! The coconut charcoal flavor is our favorite! So many menu options to chose from.

Excellent kombucha. Every flavor was excellent, we did 2 flights to share & the flight is a great deal & super cute. The service was excellent right when we walked up, the vibe is cute & sustainable. Prices are affordable and flavors are awesome.

Awesome spot for refreshment on a bike ride, especially if you're looking for something non-alcoholic but still want flights and lots of flavors. Haven't tried the coffee but the kombucha is awesome. They fill growlers too.

Good kombucha, friendly service, mellow atmosphere! Parking can be hard to find because it's all street/residential but we got lucky with a spot right in front in the 15 min spot. They have kombucha and cold brew on tap, as well as canned. They had a pretty wide variety of drinks to choose from.

Yes, I am a new fan of Tap Shack Kombucha! The Booch is smooth, hints of vinegar in between layers; yes, you must breathe deeply and enjoy one of the flavors that make up this magical concoction, seriously. Apple Pie. The scent takes you right to the kitchen and the taste is light and crisp. Cosmic Surf. More of this. I visit SD a few times a year and I’ll bring my growlers!

One of my favorite places to stop and grab a refreshing drink! I love their kombucha and matcha. Their kombucha is some of my favorite because they have unique and distinct flavors, and it's not overly sweet. The flavors change all the time and they let you sample them all if needed. I usually grab some cans of their staple flavors to go too.

This is a no-brainer, easy one....JUST FREAKING CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!!! Seriously, I've visited TapShack Kombucha on each of my visits to SD, it's actually become a staple of what I must do when in town. I've spoken with Sasha on several occasions, she's absolutely fantastic to have a conversation with! I love their unique concoctions that keep my taste buds yearning for more. I truly cannot recommend TSK enough! Super chill vibes, delightful people & conversation, DELICIOUS Kombucha!!!

We live right down the street so we pop in here every once in a while. I love that they have glass containers in the growler size but also single serving size. Their kombucha is more on the sweet than earthy side (I usually prefer earthy) but the fun flavors are the reason we go. The vibe and the people are great also.

Cool spot with really friendly staff. I loved the kombucha flavors, especially the two that kind of tasted like an orange creamcicle. One was some kind of chocolate and fruit, it was so delicious.
